Saturday 9:00
Except Spiderman got attacked by Dr. Octopus at 10 am Friday, held hostage, and wasn't rescued until almost 8 pm Saturday.
"Are you sure you're okay?" Tony asks, looking him over.
"Mr. Stark, you looked me over 4 times in the jet and twice since we've been home. I'm fine."
"He called it home," Tony says, looking at Bruce.
"I heard honey."
"I can't believe it, Tony!" Pepper cheers.
"Someone sees our kid's growth," Tony says.
"He is Pep and your love child more than anything else," Bruce says.
"I'm almost an adult."
"Almost don't count kid," Clint says.
Bucky signs something and Clint laughs.
"What?" Peter asks.
"He says it counts in horseshoes and with your animal-themed rogue gallery we might be chancing it."
"Don't, Buck," Steve says.
"So, have we decided the Spiderling is alright?" Natasha asks.
"I suppose," Tony says.
"Okay. Because Thor is asking to come up."
"He has access," Tony tells the redhead confused.
"He has a guest."
"Wait, Thor?! As in the mighty Thor?!" Peter asks.
"The one and only, kid," Steve replies
"What's he like?"
"He's cool. He cares about people. He's strong. He is technically a God."
"Wax us some more poetry, Steve. You didn't mention his gorgeous hair or eyes this time." Bucky says.
"Dude, you're killing it tonight," Clint says laughing.
"That was supposed to stay between the two of us, Buck."
Everyone starts laughing.
Saturday 9:25 pm
The Avengers having a laughing fit sitting on couches is not what Loki was expecting to see. He moves behind Thor to be safe, though.
"Thor," Steve says, with twinkles in his eyes.
"Son of Rogers." Thor greets. "I come to inquire about Man of Spiders. I saw him disappear from the tv screen."
"You came to see me?" A familiar voice says.
"And to reintroduce my sister." Thor looks to his side. "Sister, are you hiding?"
"No," Loki says, stepping out.
"Lucy?" The familiar voice says.
Loki looks up.
"Peter?"
"No, no. This is Loki. This is the Man of Spiders."
The Avengers get in defense pose at the name Loki.
"Why is he back in my house?" Tony asks.
"She." Thor corrects.
"Why is he young?" Clint asks.
"She."
"I don't want to see him. I'll Hulk out."
"Her."
"Thor. Stop." Loki says, sadly.
"Why is she on Earth?" Natasha asks.
"Thank you," Thor says.
Loki missed Peter crossing the room. He puts his arms around her.
Tony yanks him back.
"Murdered 80,000 in two days." He says.
"Wanted to enslave New York," Steve adds.
"Brainwashed Clint." Pepper adds.
"She's my soulmate."
The room recoils.
"I think we all should take a breath and a seat," Bucky says.
Sunday 9:50 pm
It takes a minute to arrange themselves. Peter kept trying to sit by Loki. None of the Avengers were having it. Finally, Bucky sat in the middle as mediator.
"So why is she on Earth?" Natasha asks.
"It was the AllFather's sentence." Thor proclaims.
"What about the destruction and chaos she caused?" Pepper asks.
"Loki served her sentence."
"What was that 8 years?" Tony asks.
"Two and a half," Thor responds.
"What?-" Clint trails off.
"It was not enough time. It should have been longer. I am sorry for all the problems I caused." Loki answers.
"What lead you to do that?" Peter asks his not-girlfriend.
Loki looks him in the eye.
"I was brainwashed by the Tessaract."
"Oh, Lu," Peter says, taking her hand.
"Bucky you're going to let him touch the villain?" Tony asks.
"How many of us have been called bad guys?" Bucky asks.
Clint, Natasha, Bruce, Tony, Steve, Bucky raise their hands.
"How many of us have been brainwashed?"
Clint, Bruce, Steve, and Bucky raise their hands.
"Can we give this teenager a pass?"
"No. Let's revisit that. Why is she young?" Natasha asks.
"It was a sentence from the AllFather," Thor says.
"Oh another trip up, Loki?" Clint asks.
"I thought it would be funny," Loki says, keeping her head down.
"But no one else did, did they?" Bruce asks.
"Why are you all being so mean to her?" Peter asks.
"The fact that she's still in the living room proves how nice we are being," Tony says.
"I have no powers if that helps."
"It helps." Natasha, Clint, Pepper, Bruce, and Steve say.
Tony looks appalled.
"But it doesn't fix anything," Loki says.
"Can she stay?" Thor asks.
"Can she?" Peter seconds.
"Not in your room," Tony says.
Peter hangs his head. Loki looks up with wide eyes.
The adults laugh.
Sunday 11:00 pm
So now you know.
As do you.
You don't mind?
Do you?
Of course not. But you're an amazing hero. I'm an annoyance and a bother.
Everyone has their bad days.
Mine last weeks.
You're literally the Prankster god.
Did you look me up?
Yeah. I realized I knew all about Thor but not much about Loki. About you. Sorry. It's going to take some getting used to.
It's okay. I'm honored.
So what's the best prank you pulled?
I thought my most recent one was genius.
What was it?
I impersonated my dad and announced all kinds of ridiculous laws.
You impersonated the AllFather?
My dad. Yes.
Why do you call him dad? Thor doesn't.
I'm human at the moment and once you've been him once or twice the awe wears off.
This isn't the first time you've impersonated him?
I've done it dozens of times through the millennia.
Right. You've been alive forever.
Are you calling me old?
No! I just don't know what you could do with a kid like me.
Do you know this body represents my age more accurately?
So compared with other Asgardians, you're a kid?
Yeah.
But still, you've experienced so much.
Peter love, the soulmate system would not have bonded us if we were not compatible.
Do you feel compatible?
Oh my god. Yes!
Are you allowed to say that? Wait, did you say yes? Do you like me?
I thought we previously established that when I said we couldn't date yet.
Oh.
Do you like me?
Yes. Can't you tell?
I could but you made me unsure.
Never doubt my feelings for you.
You either. Now go to sleep.
But…
Stark said we could spend all day together tomorrow, supervised. Rest up.
