Monday 8:30 am

There's a knock on Loki's door.

They open the door.

"Morning." Peter says awkwardly, with Steve and Bucky on either side of him.

"Morning, Peter." They smile.

"Greetings all." Thor says, coming from the closet.

"Thor! Uh hi." Steve says.

Thor offers his hand and shakes hands with the two adults.

"We talked Tony into letting us chaperone." Bucky says.

"We want to help their friendship." Steve says, looking at Thor.

"Friendship is beautiful." Thor proclaims.

Loki and Peter lock eyes.

"Yes, friendship." Loki says.

Peter beams and grabs Loki's hand.

"First stop is breakfast at the best restaurant."

They end up in the kitchen.

"Uh, Pete." Loki questions.

"Did you just?" Peter feels himself starting to freak out.

Loki runs his thumb over Peter's hand.

"I did. Why are we in the kitchen?"

"We made breakfast." Bucky says.

Really? Loki thinks turning to the scary man.

"Oh. Thank you."

"Cooking is how we date." Steve explains.

"Your bond makes me so happy." Thor says, not sounding happy. "What's for breakfast?"

Loki slides off the stool and offers his hand to Peter.

Peter blushes, looks at the adults who are pointedly looking away, and takes Loki's hand.

"Where to first, love?" Loki asks.

"It's a surprise."

"Of course."

"I don't mind driving." Steve says.

"I want to drive." Bucky says.

They stare at each other.

"Uh, how about Loki and I swing there and you two take your bikes?"

"What about me?" Thor asks.

"Oh, I'm sure Stevie doesn't mind giving you a ride."

"Buck!"

Peter snickers. Loki looks at him and Peter shakes his head.

"Fine, fine. How about I drive, Loki sits up front with me, and you two sit with Peter in the middle?"

"Uh, Bucky. Peter doesn't want to sit in the middle." Peter says. "At least if I'm not sitting next to Loki."

"Too bad kid. Stark says you're not allowed to touch much."

Loki and Peter frown.

"Alright. Let's go." Steve says.

They ride with Peter sulking in the middle. Thor and Steve are talking about their beards and care. Loki and Bucky are talking about their hair and care.

They pull up to the arcade and Peter immediately lights up.

"Games?" Loki asks, getting out and offering his hand again.

Peter takes it absentmindedly.

"Not just any games. Arcade games that haven't changed since I was 5."

"You've been coming here since you were five?"

"Yup." Peter says, content. "My mom was aces on Dance Dance Revolution. My dad was great at the shooter games. Why? Is this too childish for you?"

"No. I just haven't been to an arcade this Earth millenia. Trust, I can get down with some games."

"Cringe."

They both laugh.

"Oh, I forgot to ask this morning. What are your pronouns at the moment?"

"They/them, love. Thanks."

"Always."

"Are we going to go inside?" Bucky asks.

They play for 2 hours. Loki almost beat Peter at DDR but Mrs. Parker's legacy stands. Steve and Thor do the arm wrestling game as if they don't play enough at Stark Tower. They explore a few others. Bucky has a blast doing the shooter games, which concerned Steve about his PTSD.

"Babe, I'm fine. Go back to Thor."

"Buck. Lay off the jokes. I'm worried."

"Dude, how do you think I contribute to the team? I shoot guns all the time."

"Which I hate."

"We've had this conversation. You do what you need to do to sleep at night and I'll do what I need. You know I don't shoot to kill anymore. That's growth."

Steve rolls his eyes and kisses Bucky on the cheek.

Peter and Loki don't miss Thor looking away.

"Is that going to be us in 20 years?" Peter whispers.

"They're soulmates?"

"Yup."

"Interesting." Loki says looking at Thor.

"Winter Soldier, would you like to DDR with me?" Thor asks.

"Thor, it's not a verb." Loki says.

Bucky grins.

"I'd love to."

Bucky wins easily given his agility.
