"Okay. Now we're walking down the street?" Loki asks confused.
"We're looking for something."
"We've been looking for it for 3 blocks."
"That's not that long, though?" Peter tilts up his voice in confusion.
"It's not but where does it end?"
"There!" Steve shouts pointing.
"That carriage?" Loki asks with disdain.
"Cart, dude. Why you gotta be weird?" Bucky asks.
"It's the Asgardian in me."
"But get this! He calls the AllFather, dad."
"Normal." Steve comments.
"You blasphemy the AllFather's name so?" Thor asks.
"Or not." Steve comments.
"Come, brother. Let us try whatever is being transported here." Loki says, pulling Thor.
"Transported?" Bucky mutters.
"He can move Thor?" Steve asks.
"I wonder if I could move Thor." Peter ponders.
They catch up to lead the siblings in ordering their first hotdogs.
They lean against the wall like the cool people they are to eat. Who needs hand sanitizer? They are super.
"First Steve and Bucky's amazing breakfast and now this." Loki says after his first bite. "This is the finest you can offer?"
"It's a hot dog. Nothing else says New York more than a good dog with mustard, maybe a little chili."
"I don't feel like you've given this a lot of thought."
"You wound me. I've given this whole day much thought. I have it planned in full detail. Even down to goodnight." Peter says.
"So, I have to eat this?"
"No more food until 3:30."
"I can wait."
"No fair."
"Fine." Loki raises it to his mouth and glances down. "What's the green bites?"
"No one knows."
"How can you eat things when you don't even know what they are?"
"Hey, it's the American way. You don't like it, go back to Philly where you came from."
"What?" Thor asks over his third hot dog.
"Nevermind. Lu, I mean Loki, will you please finish?"
"For you. But if I get ill take me home, not to the hospital."
Peter is stunned for a moment.
"You consider Stark tower home already?' He asks.
"It's as much home as anywhere else on this dreadful planet."
Steve takes Thor to buy more hot dogs.
"Loki." Peter whispers, pulling on his sleeve.
"Yes," Loki turns his head, looking into Peter's eyes.
Peter is almost distracted but his question is too important.
"Is everything about this planet dreadful?"
"No. Not you, Pete. You are the highlight of my 1048 years."
Peter blushes. Loki puts a hand on both checks.
Seve Rogers suddenly stands to Loki's side.
"That's enough."
Thor laughs.
"It isn't funny brother."
"It is. They do not realize you are a sub."
"Wait, what?" Peter shrieks.
"Thor, do you know what a sub is?" Steve asks.
"Of course. I am a dom. It's important to know your positions."
Peter sees the moment Steve gets faint. He easily supports his Captain's arm in a seemingly reassuring way that doesn't show he is lifting the superhero's entire weight.
"Where's Bucky?" Peter whispers.
"He said he had something to do and left."
"Peter, next?" Loki asks with a tight grin.
"Um, right. My next place is a little awkward. Captain America, do you mind if we go to your exhibit?"
"Sure, why not?"
Day can't get worse, Steve reasons.
Except it can.
Thor reverently reads everything about Steve's life. He admires Steve's hair pre-serum. He praises the serum's effect but tells Steve it is his brain and heart that makes him a warrior.
Buck.
Yes.
I'm overwhelmed.
Why? What happened? Do we need to come?
No. Wait, you left to be with the team?
Yeah. It was getting too romantic for me. What's going on?
Thor.
Oh. My. God. Just kiss him.
But us.
We talked about this all night. I'm good.
What if he doesn't like me?
What is this?
Um, who are you?
Thor, God of Thunder.
"Shit." Steve says in his corner.
"Captain? I've been looking for you. What's wrong?" Peter asks.
"Peter, hi." Steve pulls down his sleeve.
"Oh, were you talking to Winter Soldier. Did I interrupt?"
"Um, yes. I mean no. The conversation was over."
"Peter, there you are." Loki says, coming up.
"Oh, I found the Captain."
"Do you know what this is?" Thor says, presenting his arm.
Steve looks away.
Loki and Peter read the conversation.
Peter grabs Steve and backs away.
"We'll be right back."
"Brother, you have a soulmate. Or rather you have two."
"Really? How joyous."
"How?"
"I get to share my love."
"Brother. They haven't responded."
"Oh." Thor looks down.
"You have to tell him." Peter whispers.
"Oh, hey Thor, your soulmates are an asexual with PTSD and an aroace agender with worse PTSD."
"Yeah. Sounds about right."
"Pete I can't. He can't know."
"I've seen you look at him. You love him."
"Yeah but-"
"But nothing. You're worried about him not liking you. You don't see what we see. Imagine his bright smile."
Cap smiles.
"Now imagine him at Stark tower sitting between you two while we have family nights."
"You think he'd be happy?"
"I know he'd be beaming."
"But he's a dom."
"And I'm a minor. Not talking about sex with you. Let me just say, sex isn't everything. Not that I would know, I'm a virgin. But sex is not soulmates. I'm sure you three can work out something that's perfect for the three of you."
"Thanks, Peter."
Captain walks back to Thor and Loki.
"I know who wrote on your arm, Thor."
"Really? Who?"
"Bucky and me.
"You and Mr. Barnes are soulmates?"
"Yes."
"And I am both of your soulmate?"
"Yes."
Thor kneels and takes Captain's hand.
"Then would you both do me the honor of allowing me to join your relationship?"
Cap stands there, wide eyed as people start taking pictures.
"Captain?" Thor asks.
"Um, yes. Yes, you have my permission but I can't speak for Buck. Um, I guess we are together, I'm with Thor."
"As a rambler, I will save you, Captain. Stop talking."
Cap looks at Peter and smiles.
"I must finish this exhibit to finish learning about you."
This time, Thor catches Cap when he faints. Loki sighs and Peter laughs.
They walk up to the plane replica.
"You crashed this?" Thor asks.
"And they call him a pilot."
The four turn around to see Bucky Barnes.
"Rude." Cap says.
"True." Bucky says, walking up.
"Mr. Barnes."
"We're soulmates, Thor. Call me Bucky."
With that, Bucky reaches up and kisses Thor.
There's screaming and flashing. And Peter gets a call.
"What did your first date do to my Avengers?"
