Ash has been told by Dawn that she has a surprise for him and to meet him in Castelia City in the Unova region. Three days was told to be taken off here, but he had the time to spare for that. He wonders what could be in store for them there. It's been quite a while since they saw each other at Serena's party. So, he was pretty excited to see her and give her some good news. Once he got to the airport, he ran into Drew and May and shouted, "hey you two!"

Drew gave a short wave with a, "hey, Ash."

May smiled. "Hi Ash! It sure has been awhile! What brings you here?"

"I'n here to meet up with Dawn at a hotel for a surprise… and what about you two? On a date here?"

May gave a puzzled look.

Drew shook his head. "… For the exact same thing, actually…"

"What?" Ash crossed his arms. "Why is she dragging us all out here? Is it… today your birthday, Drew?"

"No…"

May shrugged. "Whatever the case may be, we won't know for sure until we hear it from Dawn."

Ash nodded. "Right, let's get going!"

They arrived at the hotel and Dawn with some workers came out and took their luggage to their room.

Dawn starred at them with a worried look. "…Oh, looks like you all already know the surprise…"

They looked at her with a confused look.

"Anyways, I booked us all rooms for us here. And we got reservations at a five-star restrant for dinner at six!"

"Wow, you're the best, Dawn!" May shouted.

"Yeah! Thanks so much, babe!" Ash said.

"So, what's the occasion?" Drew asked.

"There is none… I just thought we all could use some time off!" Dawn told Drew.

"Thanks, Dawn! Me and Drew both could use some time off away from work," May said.

"Same! In fact, I got the Master Class and have some down time before the tournament to become Monarch starts!"

"Wow Ash! Congratulations!" May shouted.

"Yeah, congratulations! That's some great news!" Dawn said.

"Thanks!" Ash said.

"…Should you really be wasting your time instead of training?" Drew asked.

"I'm not worried! I got plenty of time to train and relax. The tournament will be a month from now!"

"Plus, I think some time off is better than not giving you and your pokemon some sort of break once in a while," May said.

"I guess that's true… Wish you the best regardless, Ash," Drew said.

"Thanks, Drew!"

They chatted for what seemed to be a couple of minutes, but before they knew it, it was ten minutes away from six. Dawn got a phone call and told everyone that a ride is here to take us to the restrant. Once they got out, there was a limousine parked outside.

"Wow, so cool!" Ash said.

"You really went all out for this!" May said.

"It's the least I can do for what you all have done for me!"

"Come on Dawn, we don't need you to do this for us…"

"I know, I wanted to, though! Like how you didn't have to help me out with Serena and take time away from Drew…"

May smiled. "Thanks, Dawn!"

"… What?" Drew asked.

"We should probably get in and start heading to the restrant! It's almost six!" May shouted. Then she quickly rushed in the limo.

Drew sighed as he got in, and Ash and Dawn followed.

Drew sat close to May and wrapped an arm around May as she laid against him, and they starred at the scenery as the limo drove off. They have talked and seen each other a lot over their pokegear, but they are happy to be able to see each other in person for more than a little while and be able to hold each other.

Ash and Dawn sat across from Drew and May, and they talked and enjoyed the scenery.

Once they arrived at the restrant, they were amazed by how nice everything looked, and were greeted by the scent of the food being cooked. A server took them to a table and got them settled and handed them a menu.

"Mmmm… Everything smells so great! I want one of everything!" May shouted.

"Me too!" Ash shouted.

"…You're paying the bill for your own food," Drew said.

May put her hands on her hips and sarcastically said, "What a gentleman…" She knows he can pay for it, and it was his turn to pay for food outings.

"It's fine everyone! I got it cov…" Dawn started.

"No. Really Dawn, I appreciate it. But Drew will pay for it," May said.

Drew crossed his arm. "One drink, one main course, one dessert. That will be the max, or you pay for your own."

May groaned with puppy eyes. "But Drew…"

"Hey Dawn, I'm really fine with paying for us, with all that you've paid for us already…"

Dawn smiled. "If that's really what you want to do."

"Of course! I'd be happy to!" Suddenly, Ash got a text and quickly checked it, then gave a thumbs up to May.

Drew glared at May. "What are you two planning?"

May gave an innocent smile. "What ever do you mean, babe?"

Dawn gave a confused look to Ash. "… What's going on?"

"May wants…" Ash started whispering.

The waiter appeared. "What would you like this evening?"

"I'll order last," Ash said.

Dawn gave him a confused look.

May ordered something first, then Drew, Dawn and last was Ash.

Dawn noticed that while he ordered a lot, he didn't order everything off the menu.

"… Alright. We'll get everything prepared and delivered to you shortly. Please, enjoy your evening," the waiter said. Then he left after taking the menus.

All the food came after a while.

May put some of her food in her mouth. "This is so good!"

"Same with this burger!" Ash shouted.

"Let me try!"

"Of course! In fact, I got plenty of food for everyone to try!"

"Alright!" May shoveled some food that Ash ordered onto hers and took the piece of the burger Ash ripped off and ate it.

"That's really… nice of you, Ash," Dawn said.

"I'm fine with the food I ordered…" Drew then looked over at May with a harsh look and whispered, "you didn't… just use Ash to him to get everything off the menu?"

May gasped and gave a worried look. "Of course not… Who do you think I am?"

"Your paying half of Ash's bill!"

"You can't decide that! Besides, Ash says it's okay!"

"What?" Dawn shouted.

"I mean, I did want to try all of the food here as well, and May just made a cheaper way to do that," Ash said.

Drew sighed. "Alright, fine."

They all ate their food and chatted a bit, then ordered all of the dessert.

"Man, I'm so full!" Ash said.

"I'm extremely full!"

"And we still have about half the food we ordered left…" Drew said.

"That's okay! We can finish it for another meal!" Ash stated.

"Or it could all be perfect for a midnight snack!" May shouted.

"Yeah!"

Dawn laughed as Drew sighed.

The bill came and Ash gasped.

"What's wrong, Ash?" Dawn asked.

"It's… nothing. Just a little more than I expected."

Dawn smiled. "Ash… It'll be fine with helping to pay for a portion of it."

Ash put on a smile. "With being a trainer, I've gotten a lot of money. It's no big deal…"

May narrowed her eyes. "I should at least… pay half of the bill."

Everyone gave her a confused look.

"But…" Ash started.

May smiled. "It's not a big deal. Besides, I had a lot of your order."

"But, I also had some of yours…"

"Just a bite. Really Ash, it's fine."

"Alright. Thanks, May."

After paying, they packed up their extra food and got back into a limo and headed back to the hotel. They then relaxed in a hot tub and hung out a bit and before they knew it, it was extremely late. They all said their goobyes and headed to their rooms.

Ash and decided to see Dawn off before heading to bed. "Today was such a fun day! Thanks, babe!" Ash shouted.

"Don't mention it! I enjoyed spending time with my friends, and especially you!" Dawn replied.

Ash embraced her. "I'm glad… that we were able to be able to plan some time together like this…"

Dawn smiled as she wrapped her arms around him and closed her eyes. "Same here…"

"… We probably should get to bed."

"Yeah, I have a long day for us planned for tomorrow as well!"

Ash looked into her eyes lovingly. "We are all blessed to have you in our lives…"

"And I'm grateful having you apart of my lives."

"It shows…"

"I'm glad…"

Ash caressed her cheek. "Love you."

Dawn smirked. "Love you more."

Ash laughed and caressed her cheek.

They inched closer and gave each other a goodnight kiss.

"Love you the most."

Dawn crossed her arms with a smile.

The next day. Everyone got dressed and ate breakfast, then they headed out to Nibasa City. They played some tennis were Ash and Dawn won and saw a short musical. Then they headed to the amusement park and the couples went on separate cars on the ferris wheel.

"It's really beautiful up here…" Dawn said.

"Not as beautiful as you, though…"

Dawn blushed and giggled at the comment. Then she gave a serious look. "So… What are your plans… if you do happen to win against Leon?"

Ash shrugged. "I donno. I don't really think about that until the time comes."

Dawn smiled. "Right, same ol Ash…"

"…Is there a reason you ask?"

Dawn shook her head. "Just wondering."

"I'd would really like to travel with you again, but I know…"

Dawn frowned and narrowed her eyes. "I…"

Ash smiled. "I'm grateful with the moments we had when you first started my journey. I have no complaints." Ash placed a hand on Dawn's hand that was on her knee. "Expsally when I'm all yours."

Dawn smiled as she wrapped her arms around Ash and leaned against him. "Me too… Though if there was a way, I'm sure Buneary would be happy spending another region with you and Pikachu, as well as Piplup and everyone of my other pokemon."

"And I bet Pikachu misses you as well, and the other pokemon that traveled with me during my Sinnoh travels…"

Dawn smiled remembering all Ash's pokemon.

"But, I know you and Buneary are happy with pokemodeling, and… I'm happy with just the moments we are able to spend together."

Dawn closed her eyes with a thoughtful look. "Me too…"

They both looked lovingly in each other's eyes and gave each other a passionate kiss.

After lunch at the amuzment park, they hanged out at the beach for A couple of hours before they had to head back. Dawn and May were talking to each other in the water while Drew was soaking up sun on a chair.

Suddenly, Ash jumped off a big cliff into the water and splashed them both.

"Gotcha…" Ash chuckled.

May and Dawn looked at each other and smirked, then pushed a bunch of water in his face, and they all laughed.

"Come on Drew! Don't be a killjoy!" May shouted.

"Pass. I rather not swim around in pokemon waste…" Drew replied.

May glared at him with an annoyed look.

"Don't worry May. I got an idea," Ash whispered.

May gave Ash a confused look.

Ash got a handful of water, snuck up on Drew, and threw it on him.

Drew jumped up in surprise as Ash and the girls laughed.

"Alright, that's it! Your gonna get it!" Drew shouted.

"Gotta catch me first!" Ash dashed off as Drew ran after him. They jumped off the cliff leading into the water.

"How do like the water, babe?" May asked.

Drew looked at the crystal-clear water with a bored look. "…It's too cold. I'm out." Drew started to go back to the shore.

May splashed him with water.

"Alright, you asked for it!" Drew splashed her back.

They all had fun in the water till they left to head to bed.

It was the day where everyone had to head back and get back to work. Everyone said their goodbyes as they got their things together and headed home.
