Chapter 8: Victor Hugo's return
The boys followed Victor to an abandoned warehouse and questions this before knocking on the door. Victor then opens the door and recognized the boys and ask them if they here to get beaten up again. The boys then take a deep breath before entering the warehouse. They then begin interrogating about Ronnie Anne's necklace before asking why he moved to Green Lake City, causing Victor to tell the boys that he's living in Great Lakes City because he wants to move out of his parents' home because he don't want to listen to them. He then told the boys that he took Ronnie Anne's necklace because he wants to. Clyde then gets mad and scolded Victor being a horrible person, causing Victor to give Clyde a glare that made him hide behind Lincoln. Lincoln then walked up to victor and demanded him to give the necklace to them so they can return it to Ronnie Anne. Victor then turn to think before smiling sinisterly. He then told Lincoln and Clyde to wait while he goes get the necklace for them. After Victor left, Lincoln and Clyde look around until they discovered a collection of Ace Savvy, causing Lincoln to check it out until he found out that Victor admired a villain named The Card Shark.
The boys then quickly get away from the collection as Victor returns and willingly gives Lincoln Ronnie Anne's necklace before giving them a hug thanking for visiting before saying don't let the door hit them on the way out. Causing the boys to look at him suspiciously until Lincoln ask Victor what he is up to, causing Victor to act surprise as he asks if he can't be nice for a change. The boys then look at each other and shrug before leaving the warehouse as Victor laughs victoriously.
