Hordak was watching Entraptra playing with Scorpia and Emily intently from the spot where he was sitting at with his legs crisscrossed together and looking on in his silence with keen interests before he heard the crunching grasses behind him with his ears and turns around to see Perfuma, staring at him with a blank empty look for a moment until she then give a rather sheepish and apologetic but kind smile as she then sat down on the grasses right beside the former leader of the Etherian Horde before she spoke to him.
"So, I assume that you're enjoy seeing Entraptra enjoying herself and generally having a good time with playing and interacting with other people?" Perfuma asked.
"Yes. I'll admit, it's rather... quite nice, to say the least." Hordak said as he return and focus his red eyes back on looking at Entraptra.
The two remained quiet with each other while they watch Entraptra and Scorpia playing with Emily on the field before Perfuma broke the silence between them.
"You know. I always assumed that the Horde was evil ever since I was a young child from the many stories and tales that i've heard about or at least the one based here on Etheria, but..." Perfuma said.
"But...?" Hordak ask perplex.
"I've came to realized the Etherian Horde isn't really all that evil to begin with. Well, I mean, it is evil technically in a sense, but it is a more complicated kind of evil. Unlike the rest of the entire Galactic Horde. The worst the Etherian Horde did was when it was under Catra's and your command, but even then, some of it you could argue it's just what happened in war. Not all of it of course, but for only some of it at least. That is what my mother told me, since she's know the in and out of war and the reasons why they happened anyway." Perfuma said before she paused as she made an rather thoughtful frown on her face and choosing her words carefully not to be tactless. "When you think about it long and hard enough carefully, the Etherian Horde is the quite easily least evil branch of the Galactic Horde. They're basically the "white sheep" of the Galactic Horde for all intents and purposes when you stop and think about it: Sure, what the Etherian Horde did under your and Catra's command during the war was rather horrible and terrible and evil. But compared to the Galactic Horde, they make the Etherian Horde looked downright benevolent and reasonable by comparison. Not that it was actually benevolent in any sense of the word, but you get the point. The Etherian Horde was still evil -in a more complicated and complex way mind you but still evil nonetheless-, just... not the level of evil what I'd expected from the stories and tales that I was told."
"Hmph. You are corrected in your assessment and I have no delusion & make no defense that it was evil in your eyes especially with me having been under its command and leadership during its existence, but you do raised a good point about the Etherian Horde itself. It was the white sheep of the Galactic Horde. While the Etherian Horde was evil, it is still far more better compared to the Galactic Horde. Afterall, I did heard a saying from a old mercenary I met once shortly after the war have ended; It's a matter of perspective, really... that's what he said." Hordak said with his red eyes staring up to look at the colorful purple sky of Etheria, after trying hard to remember of what saying that old mercenary have said exactly.
"Yes. That's true. That is... very true." Perfuma agreed before she started to use the flowers to make a flower crown as she continue talking. "And I always assumed that the Etherian Horde and the Fright Zone by extension was a horrible and terrible place to live in from those same old stories and tales about the Horde. The stories said that the Horde -the Etherian Horde- in the Fright Zone was an nightmarish and messed up place ruled with an iron fist where there is only just fear and loneliness and cold metal of its equally cold, brutal, dull, monotonous, and lifeless and soulless mechanical structures permeating everywhere and no free wills and individualities within the Horde with its soldiers being more like robots and machines, having no sense of free will, individuality, or personality, without any forms of free will and individuality to be able to act on their own."
Perfuma then paused and became silence for a moment after when she retold the account of the stories that she heard from those who have observed and got an closer look at the Fright Zone for themselves to live to tell those same old stories and tales as she thought deeply to herself in her pensive mind and was seem to be choosing her words very carefully of how she will speak them outloud.
"Through, now that I've think about it... I believe those same tales were exaggerating: Sure, while the Fright Zone definitely wasn't the best place to live in and was certainly bad and terrible place to live, it wasn't actually that bad and terrible as the stories have made it out to be. It had all the basic accommodations to make it... livable enough... to say the least about it. And while the treatment of the Horde soldiers are rather terrible, they're not like the Galactic Horde." Perfuma looked up and made an deep frown in her thinking thoughts when she mused and wonder rather deeply in her mind. "I think the most worst parts about the Fright Zone happened and occurred mostly with Shadow Weaver along with the subpar treatment of the soldiers, but other than that, it's rather okay if having terrible living conditions but is acceptable enough to allow it be at least livable enough. I was rather surprised from what Scorpia had said and told me about the Fright Zone and what I have saw for myself with my eyes along with personally meeting some of the Horde soldiers who were still there when and after Horde Prime invaded. And I was also surprised by meeting those same ex-Horde soldiers. Most of them were... not what have most of us were expecting, except for Adora, Scorpia, and Catra. Like, at all. None of them are like machines or robots with no life or souls to speak of. They weren't either evil or malicious or even disrespectful for that matter. Just really awkward peoples who maybe are severely lacking in social skills, but other than that, they were pretty much like anyone else. So imagine my surprised during that visit to the Fright Zone when I'd learned that the Etherian Horde allows their soldiers to have free wills, individuality, friendships, and leisure time. Or at least, some of them at least. But it made so much sense when you think about it. Plus, it doesn't inflict the multitudes of violations that Horde Prime inflict on anyone who was just even mentally connected to him, that too. For all of its evil actions and right violations, the Etherian Horde allowed its soldiers to have individuality, free will, friendships, and leisure time, and never practiced the kind of mental violation that Horde Prime inflicts on his clones. ...In hindsight, through; I think those same stories and tales would have been much more accurate and fitting to the rest of the Horde than to the Etherian Horde now that I'm thinking about it."
"I do admit; It was much more efficient and pragmatic to let them keep their free wills and individuality since I've found it to be rather more efficient and practical in the long run along with getting much more better results if they're allows to keep them and retain their free wills and individuality after being exiled to the frontlines to died and coming to Etheria by complete accident in the process. And the fact I prefer not to mentally violated anyone even when I was the commander of the Etherian Horde like Horde Prime did because I know far too well what it's like to be touch and violated by Horde Prime -especially when he mentally violated you- as I've remember way too vividly what he did and what it is like under him." Hordak said, before the former Horde Commander then as he added. "Of course, I never really did care about the differences for every each soldiers serving the Etherian Horde in the first place. Race, gender, species — it doesn't really matter. As long as you're useful, it doesn't matter. I was also pleased whenever my soldiers take initiative, since it usually means better results. I've already accepted that I was a invading conqueror who did terrible things back then once and make no defense for my past actions, but I do acknowledged one of the things that make me vastly different from Horde Prime: I was the lesser of the two evil compared to him because I never stoop to his level of cruelty even when I was the Etherian Horde's Commander."
"Yes. That is one of the many reason why it make you... complicated for us to deal with, to say the least." Perfuma said, after pausing in hesitation to choosing how she worded it carefully not to offend him.
Hordak just blinked at the princess of Plumeria in puzzlement. "... Was there something else that happen at one of the Princess Alliance's meetings that I'm not aware about?"
"Oh, no. Yes, but not really. It's just... the Princess Alliance had various mixed opinions and was in disagreements on how the best way to deal with you at first. We all had mixed feelings, all of us have mixed feelings, about you, and wasn't entirely in agreement what to do with you exactly, at first."
"That I am aware of." Hordak replied plainly.
"Yes. Indeed. The Princess Alliance weren't really sure, shortly after the war ended. It was a complicated mess back then. But we eventually had landed on an agreement when all of us had finally agreed and decided on a compromise: You will be let go and discharged of all war crimes if only you're proven willing to change for the better, but if you do go back on trying to conquer Etheria, some very powerful people will put an end to you without hesitation if you do plan and tried to do that. While some of the princesses weren't really happy or satisfied, they decided to keep it themselves and would rather get it over with this now than doing it later. As they knew that there were far more pressing concerns. Since there was bigger and more serious issues we had now that the war had ended."
"Indeed. But I couldn't blame them for not liking me for rather understandable reasons since they hate me for what I've done."
There was an rather peaceful and mutual silence between them as they watch Entraptra taking datas while Scorpia was playing fetch with Emily on the grassy field for some time... before Perfuma broke the silence and resume the conversation.
"You know; I had reservation about you having a relationship with Entraptra ever since when she'd started dating you. Sure, I know that you're a good guy now, but that doesn't make you a… a good guy, since you were our enemy during most of the war. I was worried about her. I was worried that you would break her heart or something." Perfuma said. "But..."
"But...?" Hordak ask curiously with a raised brow.
"I eventually have came to realized that you really do love her." Perfuma said as she turns to him. "You truely do love her. You truely do love Entraptra, don't you?"
"Yes; She loved and respected for who I am, my imperfections included. Entraptra loved all the imperfections that made me of who I am. Entraptra cared and loved everything about me including even my imperfections no what they are or were. Whether they were my physically deformities or my insecurity I don't deserve friendship. She loved and care for who I am even with my own flaws and imperfections. She told me imperfections are still beautiful in their own unique way once. I slowly started to fall in love with her for that reason. That is why I'd fell in loved with her for one of those reasons in the first place."
Perfuma became quiet for a brief moment and then smiled gently in rather understanding sympathy at him. "Yes. And that's how I noticed the way that you respected her. The way how you two completely respected each other like lab partners and how happy you two are when doing something together. I could sense there was nothing sexual between you two because there was no sexuality in your relationship with each other. I realized you do loved Entraptra romantically. There is no sexually between you and Entraptra, is there?"
Hordak just made an noise as he simply shrugged his shoulders indifferently and readjusted his sitting position to get himself more comfortable.
"Hmph. You're correct in your assumption: I never cared for sex. I don't have a sex drive nor sexual feelings. I never felt sexual stimulations in my life and I have no sex drive. Because I and along with my brothers don't have reproductive organs. Me and all of my brothers were designed for mainly combat and created to be Horde Prime's ultimate soldiers & elite guards to carry out and serve Horde Prime's will, thus the unnecessary organs like reproductive organs are considered to be useless & unfit for combat-related roles and purposes was removed from the strands of DNA use to create the first clones of Horde Prime, long before you or I were born. But i'm not bothered by this through, since I never did really cared about sex nor had interests in it in the first place. And Entraptra can and does feel sexual urges, she was never interested in sex." Hordak explained. "She see sex as a choice and optional but not necessary in a relationship, including a romantic relationship. That is what Entraptra have told me when I'd ask her about it. Which is fine with me since it worked for me, so I will not push it on her any further than that. If it's her choice, then I will respect her for it."
"I see. That's... good. Good to hear at least. It's interesting. Very interesting to hear it from you indeed. So you do romantically loved Entraptra truly, don't you?"
"Yes. Yes, indeed; Entraptra was the first person I have ever meet to see who I am beyond my own imperfections & flaws amongst other things. She love me for who I am despite my flaws and imperfections. She loved everything about me including my imperfections & flaws. I love her for who she is to me. I love her for what she means to me. I love her for how much she means to me. And I can reassured you, there is no sex involved in our relationship together. I loved Entraptra romantically. I only loved Entraptra romantically. If she have no interested in sex, then I will not push it and respect her choice. As long as Entraptra is happy, I don't care if she does want sex or not."
Perfuma was silence for a moment... before she gently smiled at him.
"That's what I like and wanted to hear. That's what I've thought and figured out. But it's good and i'm glad to hear it. It's good and I'm glad & happy to hearing it from you. Because it really means a lot. Since I trust you on keeping her safe. I know I can trust you on keeping Entraptra safe." Perfuma said as she told him. "I can trust you on keeping Entraptra safe. I know now I can now trust you on keeping Entraptra safe with you. We all do care about her and only want her to be okay & safe. Because she doesn't know about some things she doesn't understand. There are just some some things she doesn't know and understand about. Entraptra doesn't know and understand about some things that she isn't aware of yet."
"Yes. Of course. I'll take into consideration and keeping note of your concerns with that in mind. But you do underestimated Entraptra and don't give her an enough credits for." Hordak said before he made a serious-looking frown on his face as he then look downward from the hill at Entraptra in mesmerizing admirations & appreciations for her. "Entrapta understands everything she needs to perfectly well. Often better than I do. While it's true that she doesn't know about some things she is not aware about yet, she's far and much more wiser than you think and expected in her unique way. But what Entrapta did said one thing to me that was true: Sex is a choice and option, something that is optional, but not actually necessary for any kind of relationship, especially romantic relationships, in order to make it work."
"Hmm. Yes. That is... true. That is very true. Very true for any given relationships. I will agree with you and Entrapta on that one." Perfuma hummed, before she continue working on the flower crown that she was making in her hands, when she is lost in her thoughts, as she then spoke and talk to herself rather quietly under her breath when she was now lost -wondering and pondering- in her thoughts of her mind. "Yes. Your actions makes you... complication and complex. You are complication and complex. You're more complex and complication than we had originally thought. Your actions reflect your character. Your actions reflect your character and who you are. Your actions show and reflect your character and who you are as a person. While your notable actions during when you were the commander of the Etherian Horde was terrible and evil, there are more subtle actions hidden beneath them. There are much more subtle actions that are hidden deep right beneath those same actions of yours. You're a much more complex and complicated person than you or any of us had realized at first."
"...What are you talking about now?" Hordak ask and questioned in genuine confusion, being confused by the sudden change of subject and topic.
"I was speaking and talking to myself about your complexions. Your actions. Your characters. I was talking about you, of course." Perfuma said. "You're a complicated and complex person, Hordak. I really wanted to talk to you about yourself and your character on who and how you think yourself for a while now. But I didn't really know how to start this, to start talking about you, start this conversation with talking about you, especially your character and feelings at where you see yourself, without accidentally making you uncomfortable or offended and coming off as tactless, before I decided to simply improvised & wing it. So I figured to begin and start this with talking about the Etherian Horde -or at least the nature of the Etherian Horde itself if i'm being rather honest & frank to myself- in order to help ease you and into being comfortable & relaxed enough on being able to talk about yourself to make you and so you can be comfortable & confident enough on talking with you about yourself on where you see yourself on and how and who you personally do see yourself as in general with me."
Hordak was just staring and looking at Perfuma in silent bemusement & confusion over this. "...Okay. But why the Etherian Horde specifically?"
"Because I figured and thought it would be a rather good place to start with since the Etherian Horde kinda reflect you as
since thanks to your actions through your decisions and choices you've made, some of your character and personality is expressed and shown through the Etherian Horde due to your involvement no matter how little it was."
Hordak just stared and give her a look incredulously and quizzically.
"... That's a horrible conversation starter. I'm pretty sure that's a horrible & lousy way to start a conversation."
"Oh? Is it? Well, aren't we conversing already? Checkmate."
Hordak just simply smirked and chuckle as he looked away while Perfuma just give a innocent smile to the clone whose species' real name was still unknown at this time as he then shifted his legs again from his sitting position in order to make himself comfortable again. There was now an awkward silence between them, not honestly having any ideas as they don't know & are not sure on how to continue now they were on the subject and talking about Hordak on how he see and think of himself as, as they watch Entraptra and Scorpia quietly before the flower princess of Plumeria herself then decided to resume. "But what I have said is true, you are a complicated & complex person. You really are a complicated & complex person, Hordak. While your most notable actions of the war when you were the Etherian Horde's commander trying in your campaign and attempt to conquer Etheria was arguably evil and terrible, there are some subtle yet arguably equally benign and free-handed actions that you've did despite your adequate but somewhat competent leadership that neither you or any of us have realized that are hidden underneath your more notable actions during the war that nobody actually bother to get a closer look at. Sure, your leadership of the Etherian Horde was... rather subpar in a passable & acceptable albeit competent way and your charisma was certainly lacking, you did manage to do some good things during your time as its leading commander despite being an ruthless invader who was also a mass murderer and paranoiac trying to take over the world and conquer Etheria at the time. ...But then again, Horde Prime was far more worser than you without any of the redeemable qualities that you do have and you were the lesser of the two evils when compared to him, but I digress. The point is, you did some good things even when you were a brutally ruthless and merciless warlord from another world trying to take over and conquer Etheria."
"Like what those would be exactly?" Hordak ask quizzically with a questing brow.
"Well, the first would be your treatment of your soldiers; Sure, your treatment of them was rather subpar, but you allow your soldiers to have free wills, individuality, friendships, and even breaks to have some free time for themselves. And you never either cared nor judge any of your soldiers for being different from the differences between every each one of them, not caring and being indifferent toward the varied differences in their races, genders, and species. Yes, you did do it mostly out of pragmatism, but it's the thoughts that counts." Perfuma said as she explained to Hordak. "And the other thing is how you treated the citizens and settlements under your and the Etherian Horde's rule and control, as you didn't enslaved, starved, or plunder from the settlements and/or their inhabitants. The Etherian Horde didn't either enslaved, starved, or plunder any of the settlements that it'd conquered and captured during the war. After hen we'd liberated Elberon from under the Etherian Horde's control, we were taken by surprise to find out that the moth-peoples of Elberon were healthy, well-fed, and well-clothed and have a enough resources for them to hold a party for us in the honor of us, suggesting that the Etherian Horde did not either enslave, starve, or plunder Elberon. The fact you also don't inflict massive mental violations on anyone like how Horde Prime did also helped."
Scorpia then gets tackled onto the ground & grasses by Emily all while Entrapta was recording this on her tracker pad.
"And also the fact you have acknowledged your own past actions of what you have done and did back then, being sincerely regretful & remorseful about it and the damages you caused -directly or indirectly otherwise-, genuinely want to atone and pay the price for it by helping out with the reconstructions and putting your own skills at what you do best and excel at to help fixing & repairing all the damages that you've inevitable caused to make the rebuilding process everywhere on Etheria to go smoother and faster in order to make up and rectified for all of this, and most importantly, you honestly and truthfully want to change to show that now you're no longer the same person you were once before."
"... Okay. I can and do understand about the last part. But the previous points you said about me was just out of pragmatism, so it can't really considered to be good if it's not good. I don't know why those pragmatic actions of mine would be related me to being more complex than I seems along how I see and think of myself now if it wasn't actually good in the first place. So I still don't see your point about me." Hordak said, still a bit really confused by what Perfuma was getting at and trying to make.
Perfuma just sighed in tiny frustration at this and give Hordak a rather very forced, twitching annoyed smile toward him.
"The point i'm trying make to here is that you don't actually need to be good for those actions to be considered to be good in the first place. Even if they are only out of pure pragmatism, it is the thoughts that counts. Sure, while you definitely did evil and terrible things when you were still the Etherian Horde's leader that was apparently an exiled invader and warlord from space & another dimension who was trying to conquer Etheria and take over the world at the time who have done those same evil and terrible things back then, but... there's also some goods that you did despite what you done. And you're deeper than that. You're much more deeper than either you or me or even any of us have realized. You have layers like everyone else. You have layers in a way like a onion does, just like everyone else."
"... So you're saying that i'm an onion because I irritated someone's eyes?" Hordak ask, being completely serious about it.
Perfuma just rolled her eyes.
"Technically yes... but no, it's because you have feelings. You have feelings and emotions too just like everyone else. Just any other beings who have hearts, feelings, and emotions. What I am trying to say that you have layers because you have depths. You have depths to you that is hidden beneath the impressions and inside in your heart. Because beneath the surface lies something profound hidden right within you. Admirable but previously unnoticed qualities. Whose qualities are admirable but previously unnoticed that are hidden deep in the depths. The depths of your layers. You're complicated and complex like everyone else. You're just as complicated and complex as everyone else is. It is the part of what makes who you are. What makes you you. On how you think yourself as. Who you do think yourself as. I am bringing them up because they're important in how they make you think and see yourself as."
"Ahhh... okay, okay. I see now. I understand what you're trying to say now." Hordak said, as while he was somewhat better at being... social, he's still can be rather dense at times when it comes to these since he is down-to-earth and level-headed, it also mean he is also literal-minded.
"So then... How do you see yourself, Hordak?" Perfuma ask him, finally decided to get around and just straight up ask Hordak the fucking question after so freaking long with how much she was utterly fucking procrastinating and stalling in hesitations on that particular question like how the goddamn author of this same fic he is making is mostly procrastinating and stalling on creating this damn because they don't really know to start or end it and just fucking often improvise, but hey that's what happen when you're writing by the seating of your pant (thank TV Trope for that and also for ruining my life because of how goddamn distracting it is to me. Note to self, don't ever go to TV Tropes because it's a goddamn rabbit hole that you will get yourself stuck and trapped in. Didn't say I warn ya if you tried to look it up) with how fucking long it took the flower princess of Plumeria to finally ask that question but I digest.
"Don't know yet. I'm still not sure. I haven't much thought about how I see myself yet. So is there anything else you want to say about me?"
"Oh, nothing much really. There's nothing much else I have to say about you. Maybe except... you are much more grayer and ambiguous than people would think, as you're neither evil nor good. Then again, we were shock to find out that most people didn't about you or what you have did." Okay. Hordak was surprised to hear that, but he kept silence and continue to listen carefully. "We were shocked at how most people -except for the peoples who did suffered- don't cared about you or the Etherian Horde even during the war what have did. But to be rather honest, Frosta had told me about this as she think the main reason for this is that they just don't really care and are generally apathetic to what had actually happened in the war since they are just trying to mind their own business and are more focused on what they are doing in their personal lives in a day-to-day basis, unlike the princesses. The fact that people cared less about you and what you did in the war after Horde Prime arrived and immediately invaded Etheria since he's a far more worse tyrant and monster that you could ever be prove that. There's also the fact the issues caused by the princesses -like racism and transphobia for instance- are the reasons why people first flocked over to the Etherian Horde to become its first soldiers after you've arrived to Etheria since you are indifferent and don't discriminated toward them for their differences of what or who they are also complicated everything about you. That is what we found when we decide to let the general populations of Etheria vote on your punishment and how severe it should be. Outnumbering the peoples who did wanted you either to be punished severely and/or even executed by such a disproportionate margin, we decided after the general populations of Etheria have voted and made their decision that we will spare & forgive you with all charges dropped if you're willing to change and the best punishments that we could give you we all agreed on is helping us out with the reconstructing effort -even if some of us weren't happy about it- since we realized you're more useful if you help us with the reconstruction of Etheria, which have eventually lead to that compromise in the first place. In hindsight through, it'd make sense why most people didn't cared about you and what you & the Etherian Horde did once we thought about it; The war have just ended with Horde Prime's death and everyone are just trying to get their lives back in order, so they didn't really need anymore unnecessary drama along with not knowing you and several other factors, so they're willing to bat a eye to the other way as long as you're useful and can lend a helping hand with the reconstruction. But I really digress this. So all in short summary: You are a complex person who is so complicated that you're seriously complicatingly evil while also an victim just like anybody else at the same time."
"Hmph. I'll do admit, you're correct and right in your assumption for thinking that way. To be frank with myself, I see myself as an morally grey individual who straddled the line between dark grey and black if I have to be honest about myself. I was just an clone who tried to show Horde Prime his worth that he didn't care about and one of the numerous clones that he've abused, but my past doesn't justified anything since what I have done during my time as the commander of the Etherian Horde is inexcusable and I've already long accepted that what I've did was terrible." Hordak said, before he then frowned. "But of course, it's really a matter of perspective. Since there are some people that refused to believe that I am a different person than I once was before & I could change like everybody else despite all logic pointing against that idea and others still see me as a messiah who will rid Etheria of the princesses of powers for their arrogances & hubris. So it's a matter of perspective, really..."
"Hmmmm... that's true. That's a truth. That's the truth, alright." Perfuma hummed, before she begin checking the finished flower crown as she was inspecting now she was finally finished with making it. "I do hope that Entrapta knows what she is doing..."
"Humph. Please. You worry too much about her. Entrapta is her own person and can make her own decisions. So she knows what she's doing. Afterall, she is 33 now afterall." Hordak said.
Perfuma was shocked at what he had said before she immediately did a double take and just stared wide-eyed blankly at what she heard.
"You're joking, right?"
Hordak was just confused. "You did not know she was 33?"
"N-No."
"...Huh... I guess she must not have told you about it..." Hordak said and mused to himself his thoughts outloud in his bemusement. "...Oh well. If she haven't told you her age then, then it's probably not important. If it's not important to her, then I will not bother speaking about it." Hordak said as he just shrugged it off. "I will respect her wishes. If she's not interested in telling her age, then I will not speak it unless she says otherwise. Beside; You know Entrapta with her personality and how she act in general. She maybe is an crazed mad scientist who is good with technologies and doesn't have good social skills, but she does at what she's good at since she is the greatest expert in First Ones technologies and she's a lot more wiser in her own unique way. It's just one of the many reasons why I loved Entrapta. I loved Entrapta with all of my heart and nothing will change that..."
Hordak got up from his spot as Entrapta then came running right up to him with the date she got in her hands before she begun explaining excitedly to him as he listened to her intently with keen interests while Scorpia came up to Perfuma and quickly give her famous hugs that she is known for to her girlfriend before the flower princess put the flower crown on the top of the scorpion princess' head.
Hordak look and gazed at Entrapta in wonder and admiration as he watch and give her a smile in fondness for her, reminding Hordak the reasons - all of the reasons - why he loved Entrapta with all of his heart.
A/N: This one shot was based on and inspired by a comment that i've made on a fanfic called "Lunch" (by Arceanedes) due to my own interpretation of Hordak and how I see him, mainly based on the facts and informations on him that I find along what I could see and some of my ideas & thoughts added right in. Since Hordak is a very complicated and three-dimensional character afterall.
Which is why I choose the name of the fic after a running gag in Hellsing Abridged.
Okay, so I have several headcannons for Hordak, Entraptra, Entrapdak and other things that maybe are related to Hordak;
1. Hordak would be demiromantic asexual since he's infertile and doesn't seem to have any sort of reproductive organs (that we know of) as that wouldn't any make sense because I think Hordak and his brothers were mostly design for being mainly elite guards and soldiers but he is able to feel romantic attractions.
2. Entrapta would be asexual with probably and most likely somewhere on being Gray asexuality/gray-sexuality/semisexual/asexual-ish/sexual-ish and would identified as being gray ace since she could feel technically sexual attractions but doesn't care for sex in general.
3. Hordak is on the autism spectrum, like Entraptra, which may explained one of the many reasons why Hordak fell in love with Entraptra. The only difference between them is that Hordak has a different form of autism.
4. Hordak is like Hank Hills from the King of the Hills in that he loved boring stuff.
5. Entraptra would be a little better in having people skills than Hordak, but in return, Hordak would have a better sense of self-care since he take good care of Entraptra with keeping her from getting herself accidently killed and he would be the one to be holding the braincells most of the time.
6. I am projecting a bit of myself onto Entrapta due to being on the autism spectrum too, so I could relate to her (somewhat).
7. Hordak and Entraptra's relationship are kinda similiar to Odalia and Alador Blight's relationship in how they clearly love, care, respect and collaborate with each other, except for how they're not terrible (bc their relationship somehow reminded me of Odalia and Alador Blight's, it's maybe thanks to a post by Sepublic)
8. I kinda loved Entrapdak but never really care and was neutral due to being confirmed canon and never interested since I never did care much about it at first, but it then grown on me since I realized that this is a rare example of a older queer relationship (again, thanks to Sepublic) and that immediately caught my interest. So that's how Entrapdak became one of my most favorite SPOP ships
Alright then... I need to enable comment moderation bc I know in my blood that it is going to cause a uproar.
