Darkness rising part 2 act 6

Back at the mines the bots and cons were still in the middle of a fire fight, Ant-man and Wolverine were fighting some Cons while collecting the energon in the mine carts and crates and Ant-man shrink them and put them in storage tubes in his pockets and Wolverine took down the ones shooting at them.

After narrowing avoiding a shot, Arcee and Connor saw Longarm on the ledge.

"It's Longarm we got a visual." Said Arcee.

"We'll cover you, go!" Optimus reassured to his son and close friend.

"Let's go Arcee!" said Connor as they rode to where Longarm was.

Once they reach there, they saw that Longarm wasn't the same Longarm anymore, they gasped in horror at what they saw of their old friend, only the top part of his form remained and a strange purple substance surrounded him, it was Dark Energon from when Megatron sliced him in half, when the cons fired at them, Arcee clutched Connor to her chest where her spark chamber was and turned her back to the shots, she didn't care that she was getting shot at, all she cared about was keeping Connor safe and if something happens to him, Optimus will be pissed like hell and there's nowhere in the galaxy she'll be safe from his wrath.

Then they noticed one of the floors was collapsing; the one Longarm was on.

"LONGARM!" Arcee cried as she and Connor dove for him.

Together they grabbed his hand and the Autobots continued providing cover from the cons as promised, however things were about to get a bit more complicated, the rocks in the mines began crumbling around them, meaning the place was not going to be standing for long.

Wolverine had finished off the last con as Scott shrink the crate containing energon and put it in his belt.

"Ok Logan that was the last one, let's get back with Prime." Said Scott.

Wolverine nodded and they both jumped from one of the upper parts of the mine and landed near the bots and returned to normal size.

"Let's get you home partner." Arcee and Connor said to him.

That was when Longarm began to howl at them, causing them to be in shock and Connor came to a realization.

"This is not Longarm, not anymore." He proclaimed in horror.

When he said that, Longarm wiggled himself out of their grips and let out a loud shriek and plummeted into the mines below, Optimus can only watched in vain as Longarm tumbled into the pile of energon crystals and this time he was dead for good.

The Autobots were dishearten at losing their friend the 2nd time but then they heard a cackling laugh from the top of the shaft.

It was Starscream and Lex holding some bombs.

"Prime." Said Starscream.

"Lex." Growled Connor.

"Long time, no see Connor." Sneered Lex.

Connor responded with flipping Lex off.

"Connor!" said Optimus.

"Not now dad, I know you flipped Megatron off one time." Connor retorted.

Optimus growled at that.

"Problem with your brat Prime?" said Starscream.

"No but having problem being a kiss ass to Megatron?" Said Connor with a smug look.

Lex couldn't help but sniggered at that while Starscream growled.

"Pompous fool!" Starscream shouted.

"Megatron's secret lover!" Connor shouted back.

That got some of the bots and Lex chuckling at that statement.

Starscream was pissed at that but then he decided to act smugly.

"I like to stay and continue hurling insults, but we can say? We're a bit squeamish." Said Starscream.

Then he and Lex activated the bombs and dropped them to the energon in the mines and then they jumped through the tube and Starscream transformed and Lex got in and they flew out of the mines.

Then they heard some beeping and they realized what's happening.

"Oh shit." Said Wolverine.

"The joint's gonna blow!" yelled Bulkhead.

"Son of a bitch!" said Connor.

"Autobots Roll out!" said Optimus.

Immediately, the Autobots transformed and Connor, Logan and Scott got on and they sped away as their lives depended on it, the bombs then went off setting off a chain reaction, the explosion followed them ready to claim their lives.

"RATCHET BRIDGE US BACK!" said Optimus. "USE THE ARRIVAL COORDINATES NOW!"

Before them the ground bridge appeared and they leaped into the portal and escaped but the explosion followed them through.

Back at the base Ratchet and the others turned to face the groundbridge and they saw the team coming through and went to the sides, as soon as Optimus was out, Ratchet closed the bridge, preventing the exploding energon to come into the base and Optimus transformed and backflipped, Once he saw his team was safe he relaxed.

"That was a close one." Said Scott.

Sorry for cutting it short I'm trying to get back in the swing of things so that's why.

Also I went down to Austin to see my Uncle and his new son and I got to see him in person for the first time.

And weeks before that I went with my dad to New Mexico for family stuff.

Now then It will be some time before I do long chapters again, so please be patient.

I can tell you this that the next chapters that will be uploaded in May are Deku's choice and Bleach Kombat 2 so don't pester me when they are coming.

Another thing is that one of my chapters will be probably over 15000 words long give or take.

But with that said I am going to be very busy, so no asking me for requests of stories cause I will be swamped with my own.

And that's it for now.
