Breakfast of Champions
"Chocolate Frosted Sugar Bombs, here I come!" Calvin shouted excitedly as he disappeared into the pantry.
"See if there's any tuna, too," Hobbes encouraged from the table.
The spiky-haired boy emerged triumphantly just a moment later with a box in one hand and a can in the other…only to be intercepted by his mother.
"Not so fast, Mister!" she declared as she confiscated those goods and handed him a steaming bowl of oatmeal instead. "It's a school morning. You need something nutritious."
Calvin plopped into the chair next to his fuzzy best friend before he peered into the offending bowl. "What's this?" he grumped in disgust. "Monkey brains are good for you?"
His long-suffering mother sighed. "Just eat your breakfast before it gets cold, Calvin."

Famed jungle explorer, Dr. Calvin 'Danger' Jones, took a tentative bite of the so-called "food" he had received after his capture by cannibals during his expedition to find the Lost City of Tigers. While he chewed, he carefully watched the evil witch doctor who was obviously just trying to fatten him up for dinner.
"These brains need some cinnamon," he suggested with cool calculation...right as he put his daring escape plan into action.
