Hello, this is my first fanfic and my English is not perfect, you will probably see some errors but I hope you can enjoy it, I accept criticism but try not to be super harsh, It will probably be obvious what inspired me to write this.
"Get out of my way!" Ruby Rose a brave young hero was on an important mission, her scythe was tearing apart various monsters with the appearance of humanoid lizards.
"Burn!" the girl was not alone, her good friend Weiss Schnee invoked a huge blaze that set fire to several of the enemies, at the moment they were in an ancient underground temple, these lizards were the owners "Are you sure this is the place ?"
Ruby decapitated a couple of lizards before answering "Yes, my father said it was in this place" apparently they were on a search, the old temple was a gloomy and unpleasant place, also the lizardmen were not very clean beings and the smell was terrible "I think we are done with everyone but better be on guard"
"They are quite weak, I expected something more" Ruby was a girl who enjoyed adventure and challenges "I am going to incinerate the corpses or the smell will become more unbearable, keep looking" the young Rose explored without going too far.
They were in a large room full of cobwebs and dirt, the lizards had made their home here and Ruby found nothing but bones everywhere, the monster nests were not pleasant places, the visible paths did not lead anywhere and then after several minutes of walking, Ruby found some stairs behind a statue of a Faunus woman.
"Weiss come on! "Both girls carefully went down the stairs, Weiss had to invoke a small flame with her hand to illuminate the dark place, once they reached the end Weiss observed that there were some extinguished torches on the walls so she used her magic to light them all.
The place was quite large but what was disturbing was what they saw in front of them "You had to talk Ruby, this is going to be complicated"
In front of them was a large monster sitting that got up as soon as he noticed the girls "Oh it's a minotaur" the beast was muscular and imposing, one of its horns was broken and it had several pieces of meat hanging, even part of his stomach was open and some of the bones in his arms were visible "It's a Zombie"
Ruby didn't seem to see the problem "Can't you set him on fire?" but the solution wouldn't be so simple "Contrary to what many believe Ruby, setting fire to a Zombie is not a good idea, Zombies do not feel pain and the fire will take time to kill him, especially because is pretty big, we would only make him more dangerous if we set him on fire, the way to kill a zombie is by destroying the brain so a direct hit will be more effective"
"Then let me take care of him" Ruby readied her scythe and ran towards the beast, he tried to land a punch but she easily dodged it and tried to cut off thehead however the beast reacted and used his horn to repel the attack, the girl dodged a kick and moved behind the monster, her scythe connected this time with her target but it was not enough, her weapon got stuck in the monster's head and did'nt completely penetrate the skull.
"Damn" the creature moved with force and Ruby fell to the ground "I think I need help Weiss!" she dodged a stomp from the beast and got up but was in trouble without her weapon.
"I can see that Dolt, minotaurs are very tough, even if this one is technically dead it's just as tough, just distract him and I'll give him the coup de grace." Ruby knew she could trust her friend so she used her semblance to move fast around the beast "Try to hit me monster!" the minotaur of course tried to land a blow but failed and eventually a large ice stake pierced his head.
"Nice" Ruby watched as the monster finally fell, she approached the corpse and retrieved her weapon ""I may need to improve the sharpness of my baby" Weiss set the monster's corpse on fire and approached Ruby "You're lucky I'm with you" Ruby just hugged her tightly "That's why you're my best friend Weiss"
"Let go of me, idiot" she was not very used to displays of affection but couldn't deny she enjoyed them, after a brief moment they noticed that at the back of the place there was a yellow coffin that was on a strange circle that emanated a dark light.
"A magic seal and it is quite a powerful one" Ruby knew what she had to do, she approached a little and her eyes shone with intensity, the magic seal vanished after a few minutes, the silver eyes are said to be a blessing from the god of light against all supernatural things.
Ruby readied her weapon, Weiss created an ice sword and stepped back a bit, the coffin exploded and a figure ended up appearing before them, the first thing they noticed was bright red eyes, long blonde hair and an attractive body, a young woman who would drive any man crazy, she was only wearing brown pants and a worn white blouse.
"Ruby watch out, she's a vampire!" Weiss was scared by what they had done "I thought we were just coming to look for something, freeing a Vampire was not what I had in mind!" Ruby knew she owed her friend an explanation but before she could say anything the vampire girl spoke "technically speaking I'm half vampire"
Weiss pointed her ice sword at the monster in front of her "That doesn't change the fact that you're a monster" before she could attack Ruby stopped her "Wait Weiss, please let me talk to her and I'll explain later!" the ice queen sighed and lowered her sword, Ruby smiled and turned to see the Vampire "your name is Yang right?" The monster in question was surprised that this girl knew her name "Yes but how do you know that?"
"I'm your sister" that was surprising for the other two "What ?!" Weiss and Yang yelled at the same time in shock "But you're human, oh i get it, dad got another woman, I can't say I blame him" the smartest of the three girls managed to deduce an explanation just by hearing those words "I understand Ruby, your father Taiyang had a relationship with a vampire before meeting your mother"
Yang laughed upon hearing that "I wouldn't call it a relationship, mother basically jumped on him without giving him a choice, vampires are quite selfish and cynical" Ruby however had a sad expression "I'm sorry to say that father died" that froze Yang for a moment, she just sighed somewhat disappointed to find out "I see, I have some memories of him before he left mother's castle, he was cool"
"Ruby none of this changes the fact that she is a monster, we cannot trust her" Ruby had originally told Weiss that there was something in this place that would help them in their mission and she could already see what Ruby's idea was. but working with a monster was not something that sounded good "My father told me that I could count on her and I trust his words"
Weiss did not seem satisfied but decided to let Ruby continue talking with her sister "Our father and mother were killed by the Queen of the Grimm" upon hearing that the young vampire clenched her fists tightly "The Queen, I was locked here by that woman... so she killed Dad "Yang looked at his younger sister and understood why they had sought her out" Do you want me to help you kill the queen?" Ruby nodded in affirmation.
"I have two conditions, the first one is that you make sure that your friend does not pierce my heart with a stake" obviously Yang had noticed the tension"I should be worried about my well-being, you are thebloodsucker monster here"it was obvious that this would not end well so Ruby intervened " we are civilized people, no one is going to hurt anyone right?"
"Sure little sister, I'm half vampire so I don't need blood to survive, normal food works although I won't refuse if someone offers me some blood" Yang stared at Weiss and added something else "I have nothing against humans and I do not wish to kill them indiscriminately, I was never an exceptional vampire, my mother constantly annoyed me for that"
"We'll see" was the only thing Weiss said, her ice sword vanished, Ruby smiled happily and asked her sister "What is your second condition?" Yang approached her and put a hand on her shoulder "Tell me more about our father."
"Sure, we have a campsite nearby, let's go back and we can give you something to eat while we talk, although I would like to know how you ended up locked in here" Yang touched her stomach with a pained smile "that sounds good"

"Thank you Jaune" she closed the book and got up, the Evernight castle was big and spacious, they walked through the dark corridors until they reached the place where their visitors waited.
Upon entering the room, Salem observed her generals sitting at the large table in the center, when they saw her they all stood up as a sign of respect, Jaune stood at the entrance with the only other human present "How intense to have the most powerful Grimms In one single place"
The other human was a young man who was wearing a rather elegant black suit. "Don't show fear, we are under the protection of the Queen so there is nothing to worry about."
"I wish I had a Semblance to control my emotions like you Ren but life is not so simple" a good friend and the only other human in all the territory of Salem, both ended up here because of human cruelty "Shh, the queen is talking" Ren silenced him and they both paid attention.
The windows allowed the moonlight to enter and illuminate the place, Salem allowed her generals to sit again "It's been a while since I've seen you all together, a shame some of you didn't attend" Sienna Khan, Cinder Fall, Hei Xiong, Arthur Watts, Nora Valkyrie, the five of them were powerful Grimms who responded directly to the Queen, Nora was her closest general as she lived in the castle and was a faithful servant.
"For many years I have allowed humans to be the dominant species in this world despite being nothing more than food for the creatures of the night, they don't deserve the control they have and I think it has been enough, they constantly attack my castle as if they had a chance and it's annoying, if I completely remove them from Vale, it should be enough to teach them a lesson."Salem was tired of dealing with humans, something normal after living for so many years.

"Tch" the zombie warrior again blocked the vampire's consecutive fists with her shield, Yang had to admit that this zombie was strong enough to withstand her attacks, the redhead counterattacked with several thrusts of her sword and Yang received several cuts on her body, she couldn't perfectly dodge all the attacks but even so she did not seem worried, she received a strong blow to the entire face with the shield, that made her nose bleed "Heh, that was good"
"What's going on?" The zombie recoiled in fear, the vampire girl's hair was on fire and her eyes were shining with an extraordinary intensity "I'm sorry to say it but all you did was activate my Semblance"normally only human beings have aura but there are rare cases where hybrids also have it, Yang was one of these cases "oh no" Yang released all the power in a powerful blow that broke the shield of theenemy and sent her flying against some of the graves of the cemetery, the blond young man who was reviving the dead stopped to approach his friend "Are you okay Pyrrha?"

Jaune scared ran towards the upper body of his friend, the guts of the zombie girl were all over the place "Easy Jaune, you know this can be fixed" she tried to reassure him "I don't like to see you so hurt" The boy observed the vampire, her hair went back to normal but he had to admit that her semblance was somewhat powerful.

Only Nora would have the crazy idea of making her opponent stronger "Was that enough, blondie?" Yang's hair was a red, so bright as her eyes, Jaune swore he could feel the heat emanating from the vampire's hair "You are something more Grimm girl, it is the first time that someone recharges my Semblance to the maximum" Yang pressed her knuckles firmly "You better get ready" Nora smiled and attacked with her hammer but this time Yang's hand blocked it without problems and smashed the weapon "Hey I liked that hammer!"

Ruby seemed very sad to hear that"being hated Just for having that power, I can't say i blame them for becoming bad guys."
Yang however had more to say "Jaune is not a bad guy, he is simply surrounded by many monsters, I would say that he is a victim of human cruelty like most of those who are born with his power, I suppose I should tell you the rest of the story "however they would have to wait to continue, Yang felt various presences surrounding the camp and got up.
Ruby stood guard with her scythe and Weiss summoned two ice swords in her hands, they saw several red eyes watching them, they were in a dark forest near the border with Mistral "Grimm, but it doesn't make sense ... it is normal to find some but there are several, that only happens when there is a lot of negativity" however Weiss had a theory "The seal that kept your sister locked away, when you removed it that must have attracted the attention of all the Grimms that were around"

A great Grimm with a canine appearance approached them, normally they would not fear a Grimm beast but the fact that he spoke was disturbing, it was a deep and intimidating voice "Who are you?"
The canine began to mutate in front of them, the bones of the creature creaked in a disturbing way and little by little its front legs transformed into two long arms, the monster took a shape similar to that of a werewolf. "Lady Salem ordered me watch over the border with Mistral since Blondie entered and caused problems, she does not want any more vampires invading , additionally I was ordered to exterminate you if someone managed to free you "
"It's the first time I've seen a Grimm like you but that doesn't matter, I doubt you're stronger than one of her generals" Yang ran without thinking and tried to hit the beast but he blocked it with his monstrous right hand "Idiot, You have been locked up for almost two years, you still haven't fully recovered "the creature was holding the girl's fist tightly, he picked her up and hit her repeatedly against the ground and then threw her hard against some trees.
"Yang!" Ruby attacked the monster but he took the girl's scythe and snatched it from her hands, he kicked her with force sending her several meters back, Weiss summoned a flare that was about to engulf the Hound but he used Ruby's scythe to repel the flames as if it were a fan "you will have to do better than that"
"How about this!" The Hound did not react in time and was crushed by a tree that Yang threw at him "I am not in my best condition but I can do simple things"of course that would not be enough and the creature got up "not enough" but his shoulder was pierced by an ice stake "How about that monster?" the creature let out a terrifying cry of pain and Ruby's scythe fell to the ground.
"Fucking Bitch!" Ruby moved quickly with her semblance and took advantage of the moment of weakness of the monster to take her scythe and cut the left arm of the creature "You resist impacts but sharp things are your weakness" the arm that she cut began to turn into black smoke.
Dark blood was gushing from the Grimm's wounds "I wouldn't call it a weakness" in a matter of seconds the monster's arm regenerated, the ice stake was torn off and that wound also healed quickly, the creature knew who the main danger was "Time to die Ice Queen "Ruby used her silver eyes to incapacitate the monster and allow Weiss to retreat, then she cut one of his legs knocking him down"This is not the first time we have faced a monster with high regenerative power!
