Velvet heard a couple of knights give that order, escaping by sea was not a bad idea and the inn where they were staying was near there, luckily Saphron had given her a sword and she had that to defend herself.
The place was in chaos but the few knights that were in town were fighting bravely against the Zombies and Grimms "damn the king, the monsters are attacking so directly because he did not want to help" her sword was blessed by holy magic so Velvet had no problem slicing through the monsters in her path, she saved the civilians she could but when they reached the docks her hope died, almost all the boats were on fire and she could see how others had set sail to the sea and abandoned people "Damn it, these monsters are well organized"
