This was requested by AnonymousAsAlways but this story has a twist where the pups save Ryder who had a twisted/broken ankle but as you can tell from the title, stuff goes down and it's not good... Also paws is what we now use for the paw patrol if we're including WildCat.
Ryder started to chase after Mayor Humdinger who stole something and Ryder was chasing him to get the item back and Ryder was close to Mayor Humdinger. That's when the kitties decided to throw Ryder off and they shot things in front of Ryder and he then tripped and fell on the objects but that's when his left foot got caught on one of the objects and as he fell his body turned a bit because of how he accidentally stepped on a yarn ball and as he fell to the ground he heard a small crack coming from his foot. The kitties continued to fire stuff at Ryder until the Paws stopped him while Chase got the thing back from Mayor Humdinger.
That's when Ryder tried to sit up but he felt a small wave of pain and he gasp a bit in pain and he growled a bit as he closed his eyes a bit. "Cmon Kitties, let's get out of here and leave the growling human wolf hybrid whatever mix alone or else he may bite you." Humdinger told his kitties and they all ran away on their kitty carrier. Chase went over to Ryder and he asked "You ok sir?" as Rocky and some of the pups were clearing the items so no one else gets hurt. WildCat was next to Ryder just in case and Marshall was getting his emt pup pack out of his firetruck just in case something similar to this happened. A few citizens helped the pups who were cleaning while some were surrounding the area concerned about Ryder's injury.
When Marshall got his emt pup pack on, he went to Ryder and he used the X-Ray screen to check his injury but when Marshall saw Ryder's injury he hissed a bit from the injury aka cringe a bit from the injury. "Rocky, can you carefully move the stuff that Ryder's foot is caught at without hurting his foot?" Marshall asked Rocky and Rocky did so. Ryder winced a bit but when the stuff were removed, everyone can tell Ryder was trying not to tear up from the pain. "How bad is it?" Chase asked Marshall and Marshall moved his paw in a way that Chase has to see it. WildCat and Chase went over to Marshall along with the other pups but Rubble didn't look because he can tell that it was bad. When the paws looked at it, they cringed a bit at the injury and that's when Marshall told them "Yeah, it's broken." "How do we move him?" Skye asked and Ryder started to get concerned but that's whe Danny and Katie who were helping with the clean up went over. "Maybe we can help." Danny told the paws and the paws nodded.
After getting Ryder back to the lookout and his ankle wrapped up in bandages. Ryder was sitting on one of the beanbag chairs that the pups are going to make him sleep on and they put a pillow underneath his foot even tho he told them he doesn't need one while he still had tears of pain in his eyes. Anyways, they were all watching a movie and it was about Wolf packs but the main character was the only Ultima in the pack and he was being hunted down by every human and scientists who were working for someone evil.
"Poor Ultima, Imagine having to leave your pack and your family behind because of people hunting you down." Danny admitted before he put more popcorn in his mouth. He was letting Ryder lean against him so he's able to watch the movie but that does mean that Danny was trying so hard to not blush that his crush was leaning against in. "Yeah, imagine if one of us has to do it! That would be terrible!!!" Chase admitted and Ryder replied with "If that ever happens then we stick together no matter what ok?" The paws all agreed and they all went back to watching the movie but by the end of it, they were all asleep.
When Ryder woke up, he was outside and he was in the forest near Adventure Bay so then then got up the best he could and he did a downward dog stretch but that's when he realized that he was really tall than normal like above the average height for a wolf, he was paws with his back left paw bandaged up like how Marshall bandaged up his broken ankle. His ears and tail were tipped with red that fade into his brown fur, his eyes were his normal eyes so no one will turn when he makes eye contact with them, and he had a collar on but his fur is covering up his pup tag which is the paw patrol logo. His collar was white with light blue and red paw prints on it. Ryder started to get nervous because he had no idea where he was but he then realized that he was at the campsite where Uncle Otis told them the story about the Werepuppy and he was in the field of it that leads to sunflower Valley.
Ryder then started to run to Uncle Otis's cabin even tho it was daylight and he would probably get caught but Ryder didn't care and he quickly ran to Uncle Otis's cabin, but has he ran the trees were like blurrs as he ran by along with jumping over cliffs and such. "So this is what Rocky felt in his dream one time..." Ryder thought and as he got close to the cabin which he could tell by the smell, he tried to exclaimed Uncle Otis's name but it turned out to be howls/barks/growls and Ryder didn't know that.
As soon as he got to the cabin, Ryder slid to a stop as he sat down. That's when he saw that Uncle Otis had his beaver friends and they were all nervous around Ryder. Ryder tried to tell him what's going on but he didn't know he was talking in small growls and barks. "N-now you stay away you big whipper snapper!" Uncle Otis told Ryder and Ryder was confused. "Uncle Otis, it's me! Ryder!! Can you understand me?" Ryder told Uncle Otis but Uncle Otis didn't understand Ryder and he quickly got his pickaxe. The Beavers were trying to stop Uncle Otis because they surprisingly understand Ryder. When Uncle Otis grabbed his pickaxe, he went up to Ryder and he told him "Now run away or else!!" Ryder didn't listen because he was still confused and that's when Uncle Otis started to attack Ryder with the pickaxe but Ryder dodged the attacks from it by moving his paws but that's when Ryder accidentally knocked the cabin on it's side. "MY CABIN!!!!" Uncle Otis exclaimed and Ryder then started to run off towards Adventure Bay as he exclaimed "Sorry Uncle Otis!!!"
"He's heading towards town! I gotta call the Paw Patrol!!!" Uncle Otis exclaimed as he pulled out his phone and he called the paw patrol who were all frantically looking for Ryder. When they all got a call from Ryder's pup pad that they all found while looking for Ryder, Chase answered it and he said "Hello? Chase here!" "Chase! A big terrifying Ultima wolf is on it's way and he tipped over my cabin!!! Can you and the paw patrol stop it while getting my Cabin back to normal?" Uncle Otis told Chase and Chase replied with "Don't worry Uncle Otis! We'll stop it!" he then hung up but then Rubble asked "What about Ryder?! He could still be injured while he's missing!!!" "We'll find him as well, but we're going to have to go mighty for this mission and we need backup." Chase told them and Danny immediately started to call Jake, Everest, Carlos, Tracker, Katie, Taylor, Rex, and Alyssa. When they got there the pups went into the elevator while the humans started to look around for Ryder, the paws all got into the elevator and they went up it as it turned into the mighty tower.

After they were all in position, Chase was at the front where Ryder is normally at for mighty paw mission "Ruff! Mighty paws ready for mighty action Chase sir!" Skye exclaimed like how Chase normally does. "So we all know why we're here, Uncle Otis's cabin has been tipped over by an Ultima Wolf and the wolf is now on it's way to Adventure Bay. We need to get Uncle Otis's cabin back to normal and to stop this wolf along with finding Ryder. Skye, You'll be our eyes in the Skye to see where the wolf is." Chase explained. "This mighty puppy's going for a spin!" Skye exclaimed "Rubble, you'll use your powers to get Uncle Otis's cabin back to normal." Chase added. "Mighty Rubble's ready for trouble!" Rubble exclaimed. "Everyone else, we warn the citizens along with trying to stop the wolf plus trying to find Ryder all over town." Chase said and they all cheered. "Mighty paws are ready to go, go, go!" Chase exclaimed as he ran to where the pups normally go to.

Once they were all in position, they all started to do their tasks but when Rubble was done, he noticed the Beavers trying to tell him something but he was confused so they started to play chatades on Rubble as he guessed. "Ok so 4 words... Hmmm..." Rubble told the Beavers and they continued to do it. "Uhhhh Ryder?" Rubble asked after the Beavers did a pose that Ryder would normally do. The Beavers nodded and then they did wolf like poses. "Wolves? No, a wolf! Giant wolf? Pointing back to Adventure Bay- Gasp!" Rubble guessed and then he exclaimed to the Beavers "Ryder is the wolf?!" and the Beavers nodded. "How sid he turn into a wolf and get out to the forest on a broken paw!?!" Rubble asked and the Beavers shrugged. "Thanks for the information Beavers, I gotta tell the-" Rubble admitted but that's when Chase came in through the mighty tag and he told Rubble "Rubble! We need your help! The wolf is not restraining to what we're doing so we need your charged up wrecking ball to get it on the ground so it won't cause any more damages!" "Gotta go Beavers, bye!!!" Rubble exclaimed as he hopped into his mighty vehicle and he drove back to Adventure Bay.
When he got back, he Ryder shivering in fear from the others who were trying to get him away from Adventure Bay but they managed to get him in the water and Ryder still had his broken paw that's bandaged up in the air so it won't get soaked. "Cmon Wolfy... We just need you to leave the townspeople alone and to get out of Adventure Bay and then back to the forest where you belong." Chase told Ryder as he went slowly towards Ryder. Rubble then quickly ran over and he then slid in front of Chase and stopped him from getting close to Ryder. "Stop!!!" Rubble exclaimed and the paws were confused. "Why?" Chase asked and Rubble then told him "The wolf is-" "A MONSTER!!!!" A citizen exclaimed in fear. "He's not a monster! He didn't mean for any damages to the city!" Rubble exclaimed. "How can you tell?!" another citizen exclaimed. "It's shaking in fear, it looks scared of us, It's body position when it bumped into buildings looked like he didn't mean to do it, he didn't hurt anyone yet-" Danny listed and the other human allies of the Paw Patrol agreed with him but then the same citizen interrupted and told Danny "What do you know about what this monster is! He is clearly doing it on purpose!" Ryder then started to whimper and he then ran to Adventure Be but that's when the paws noticed his collar and his paw. "He's hurt!!!" A citizen (that isn't against Ryder the wolf because they know that he didn't mean to do it on purpose) exclaimed. "C'mon Guys! let's go after it!!!" Chase exclaimed and the paws nodded along with Katie, Jake, Alyssa, Carlos, Taylor, and Danny.
When they got to Adventure Beach, they saw Ryder aka the wolf laying down on the sand but his front two paws are by the water front looking a bit sad. That's when they saw it's collar and they were confused. Danny then started to slowly approach the wolf and Ryder noticed but he didn't care because of how he was the wolf and he did damages to Adventure Bay. Danny then held out his hand to the wolf and Ryder sniffed it but he didn't bite it or anything. That's then Danny started to pet the wolf and Ryder was confused until he realized that it was Danny and Danny knows when something didn't mean to do it on accident. "Hey Big guy, it's ok! I'm not going to hurt you. We're sorry that we scared you!" Danny told the wolf and Ryder wagged his tail slowly because he was enjoying the pets. Danny then motioned the paws over and they all slowly walked over to it but Rubble immediately ran to the wolf and he hugged the wolf.
"Can we see your pup tag please? We noticed that you have a collar and we want to see if you belong to anyone." Katie asked the wolf and Ryder nodded and he moved his head up a bit so they're able to move the tag towards them. When the whole group saw the paw patrol badge as his pup tag, they were really confused except for Rubble who was still hugging Ryder. That's when Chase started to piece everything together. "Guys... I think I know who it is." Chase admitted and Rubble replied with "Same." "Who is it Chase?" Marshall asked. "Ok, who else has spiked fur or should I say hair like this wolf, brown eyes, a current broken ankle, and wears a badge which is this pup tag?" Chase asked the group and then it all clicked in with them. "RYDER!!!!!" Everyone exclaimed and Ryder nodded.
"So you're the wolf!!!" Alyssa exclaimed and Marshall then admitted "That would explain his back left paw and how he's not letting it touch the ground." "How are we that stupid?" Carlos asked and everyone shrugged but then Ryder then licked Danny so now Danny was covered in wolf drool. "Ok, ok, I get! We totally deserved that!!!" Danny admitted and Katie asked "Are you sure that he's not giving you a big kiss for not trying to get him out from Adventure Bay?" That's when Danny blushed and Ryder put his two front paws over his head in embarrassment as if it was a wolf's way to tell that they're blushing.
"So how do we turn Wolfy Boi here back to human boi?" Jake asked and everyone started to think of ideas. That's when Danny started to pet Ryder even more and comfort him. Ryder wagged his tail as he slowly fell asleep but as he did so he heard his name a couple of times.
When Ryder woke up, he was back at the lookout with the paws and Danny but he was in the same position he was in when he fell asleep when they were watching the movie. "You ok? You slept in than normal." Danny told Ryder as he petted Ryder's hair. "Yeah but I had the craziest dream ever!" Ryder admitted and the paws were interested as Ryder started to explain his dream. When Ryder was finished Danny was confused but the paws were shocked and they all exclaimed "I had the same dream too!!!" "Am I the only one who had a different dream?" Danny asked and Everyone nodded. "I'm just glad that I'm home and safe with my paws." Ryder admitted and everyone giggled.
