It was a peaceful day but in Foggy Bottom it wasn't so peaceful because Mayor Humdinger was having one of his outrages while the kitties were outside playing. He hated how the paw patrol keep on ruining his plans to take over Adventure Bay and to win at everything. "UGH!!!! IF THE PAW PATROL DIDN'T EXISTED THEN I WOULD EASILY BE THE MAYOR OF ADVENTURE BAY!!!!!" Mayor Humdinger exclaimed and that's when Mayor Humdinger got an idea and he told himself "The Paw Patrol would be headless chickens without Ryder! If I eliminate Ryder then I eliminate the paw patrol technically. They would have to spilt up if their leader die!" What Mayor Humdinger didn't know is that The Paw Patrol would never split up at all even if Ryder die or not. Anyways he then started to chuckled to himself but soon it turned into his classic laugh that make everyone knows.
Meanwhile in Adventure Bay Ryder was currently working on his atv, the pups were all playing soccer, and Buddy was laying down on the seat area of the atv. Ever since he got to the lookout he rarely left Ryder's side at all as if he wants to make sure that Ryder's ok. He wouldn't know what to do if Ryder got hurt or anything like that at all. So Buddy always stayed by Ryder's side no matter what unless Buddy wants to play with the other pups or there's a mission and Buddy doesn't go on it like he didn't convince Ryder to let him join him on it. Anyways as Ryder was working on his atv, Rubble runs in and asked "Hey Ryder? Since it's a beautiful day out can we all go walk around Adventure Bay please?" "Sure! I'll actually come with you guys, what do you say Buddy?" Ryder replied with and Buddy barked happily.
As they were all waking around they soon came to a cross walk and there was a lot of people around but the paw patrol made sure to look both ways before crossing the street but what they didn't know is that Mayor Humdinger was watching them. Anyways the group of pups, wolf pup, and boy waited for a car to go since they heard it but then Ryder felt someone shoving him (aka Mayor Humdinger) and he felt his legs moving forward alot. He was so confused on what just happened and he felt that his foot was stuck kinda. He soon got his foot unstuck and then he heard someone exclaimed "RYDER MOVE NOW!!!!!!" Ryder was so confused but before he can say anything he heard a car and as he looked at the car it was too late. The car hit Ryder and it made him a bit airborne but he fell onto the open road hard that he started to bleed but all of the cars stopped before any can hit him. Ryder didn't know what happened next because everything went black, he heard everyone exclaiming his name, screaming, horns, and most importantly whimpering and an ambulance siren that didn't come from Marshall's ambulance.
When Ryder got his vision back he wasn't where he was before. He was so confused but he was in some bed with Buddy on the bed laying down next to him with his head on Ryder's stomach, the pups were on chairs and they were giving him concerned looks, Mayor Goodway was there standing and she looked worried about Ryder too, Danny was standing next to Mayor Goodway but he looked extremely worried about Ryder, and Ryder felt like he was in extreme pain. "You ok Ryder?" Mayor Goodway asked but Ryder shook his head no. Buddy started to whimper once again and Ryder realized that the whispering came from Buddy before he passed out. "I-it's ok Buddy! I'll be fine..." Ryder told Buddy weakly. When the doctor entered the room, everyone else went to go grab some food but Buddy stayed with Ryder. "Hey there Ryder! Hi Buddy!" The doctor told the two as the doctor petted Buddy's head. The doctor then gave Ryder a check up and he was kinda shocked how Ryder was healing because of the injuries Ryder got, they were pretty bad but Ryder surprisingly made a strong recovery so far. Anyways when the doctor left, Ryder started to think how did he fall in front of the car because he would never trip in front of it or go as the car was coming. He then petted Buddy as he thought but then I realized that he felt someone shove him to the road and he realized that a certain someone was behind him since he kinda reminded hearing snickers of kittens and Chase sniffling a bit. Ryder then muttered to himself when he realized who done this to him
