Prologue

I made a promise to myself, and to those who have followed this story since the beginning. I do not break my promises, and it is here that I type this now, with this promise assured.

This is the prologue of the third part in a series of four, regarding the Where The Bleeding Hearts Grow series. If you have not read Parts One and Two, it is highly encouraged that you do so, as the events hereafter will be directly referencing what happened previous.

What follows is the aftermath of Part Two – The Red Storm, and the subsequent buildup to Part Four. This third part is the rising action to the final piece of the series, and will bring exposition over the initial arc covering the first two parts.

Part Three is ten chapters long, and will be uploaded regularly at four-day intervals. This will last for forty days beginning with the uploading of the first chapter (as of 22nd August, 2021) all the way to the last (predicted to be 27th September, 2021).

Part Four will be in the works. I cannot say when it will be coming out, as I have yet to begin working on it, and many personal obligations have eaten up my spare time. Furthermore, I intend to go back and revise Parts One and Two, to make sure that they are clear and lacking any plot-holes or mistakes.

I make a point to say that any commentary towards my works, whether it be praise or critique, is welcome. I can only better myself so much from personal reflection, so feel free to leave a comment on the development of the story if you so choose. -MB
