8:

As soon as Caroline entered the mansion she remembered the events from the last time she was there.

A cold shiver crawled down her back and she shook, trying to remind herself that she was there for a slumber party and nothing else.

"May I help you with carrying these?" She looked to see Klaus there and wanting to help. "As the food can go into the kitchen and your sleeping bag can go into the guest room the witch Bonnie is using."

"You know her name?" Caroline asked, surprised.

"Elena has me memorizing all of them," Klaus said shaking his head. "She also made me realize that I didn't need an army to kill my enemies as we can just...make them disappear."

"She's having you memorizing the names?" She asked, ignoring the enemies disappearing part. "Why?"

"I need allies," Klaus said as Elena appeared.

"Nik-remember the rules? Interrupt us and your wardrobe will be redone. In pink!"

Klaus grumbled but nodded. Elena turned to Caroline and hugged her.

"I'm so glad that you're here," Elena gushed to her with a bright smile. "Bonnie wants no booze as her hangover is pretty bad and you don't need to worry about the men." She giggled. "The boys are going to the Grille and bond or something. Hopefully."

Klaus nodded as he smirked.

"Don't worry Caroline luv," Klaus told the blonde. "Your friend is like me-an Original Hybrid whose blood also cures."

Elijah was getting his suit jacket on when Rebekah came into the room and smirked at him.

"So when are you going to take her out on another date?" She asked. "I was hoping to plan her outfits for them so…" Elijah chuckled.

"Hopefully tomorrow evening and we were going to an exquisite dinner before dancing," he told her. "Are you also mentally planning our wedding?" She giggled before nodding.

"That and how Kol can begin wooing the little witch," she decided to say. "Don't worry-if there's a time and place she would like getting married I'll make sure that it's then." She twirled a finger around her hair before nibbling on her lower lip. "Do you think that the others can accept me?" Vulnerability shone in her eyes.

He hugged her and kissed her on the top of her head.

"If they can't accept you then they are idiots and Elena will slowly not socialize with them if she knew," he promised. "She values family and if no one in her family can socialize with you then she will slowly begin to disappear from their lives."

Inside the Grille Stefan was sitting with Damon who was drinking straight from the bottle when the Mikaelson brothers walked in with smiles on their faces.

"So brother," they could hear Klaus say to Elijah. "I prefer Elena over Katerina."

"Not just because she undid your curse right?" Kol asked as he sat at a booth across from Klaus and next to Elijah. "It's because she seems to fit in with us?"

"Both and for the fact that she wanted to meet me head on," Klaus answered. "Would you have had the witches seal her in a house?"

Kol snorted.

"I would not," Elijah answered and his eyes flashed towards Stefan and Damon before returning to his brother's. "Though you said that to get a rise out of the Salvatores didn't you?"

"You know me too well," Klaus chuckled. "But since our training she's been opening up more to telling us about her life since the Salvatores."

"You also want to kill Damon," Elijah hummed as he tapped his fingers on the table. "Honestly? I think that everyone wants to kill Damon except for Katerina but then again she might have other uses for him."

Stefan decided to go over and talk with them about how Elena was doing.

Elena, Bonnie, Caroline and Rebekah were sitting around doing each other's nails-Elena was doing Rebekah's and Caroline was doing Bonnie's when Rebekah asked, "what does one actually do on a girls' night?"

"Not what Kol thinks first off," Caroline told her and Elena nodded. "He's watched one too many teen girl movies or something."

"Boy talk though Elena will sit that out if she talks about Elijah," Bonnie told Rebekah who side eyed Elena, "but we talk about boys, gorge ourselves on ice cream and junk food-booze if it's acceptable for all members-and watch movies like Clueless, The Princess Bride and rom coms."

"Can I pick the movie as I've never seen them," Rebekah now looked a bit shy. "Nik and Kol watch action adventure films and Elijah watches classic or spy films."

"He does love a few of the classics," Elena agreed. "He also reads to me when I'm close to falling asleep after training," she added. "Last night was our first time being together in that way."

"So let's complain about boys," Bonnie decided to say. "Should I go first or should Caroline?"

"Drama with the baby hybrid boy?" Rebekah asked and Caroline nodded.

"When he had cell service I heard a girl in the background giggling," Caroline huffed. "If that wasn't enough he sounded breathless and it wasn't from extreme exercise," she added with a raised eyebrow. "He calls me once in a while yet he calls Matt and his mother constantly."

"You think he's cheating," Elena gasped. "Oh if he is I'll kill him!" Bonnie nodded.

"I'll help," the witch replied as she grinned with a malicious smile on her face. "I'm sure that there are spells that can boil blood or cause him to become wolfish every time he sees the moon."

"If he dies because of the boiled blood," Rebekah decided to say, "we have some gardens in every house that Nik has that can do with some fertilizer."

"So devious," Caroline giggled. "I'm loving our plans already."

"So what is up with the brothers since I've been away?" Elena asked as she leaned against the couch in the living room. "I remember all the times that they've compelled me and honestly, Stefan and I did break up because he wanted something with you Care." She added as the blonde winced.

"I rebuffed him and basically said that I felt nothing but friendship since becoming a member of the undead society of awesomeness," Caroline told her. "So basically Stefan's been in brooding territory, Damon's ego is causing problems and his attempts at winning your affections before you disappeared were great but after he had been trying to locate you."

"I kept telling him no," Bonnie said as she took a bite of some chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream. "A-I didn't want to and B-I don't like him."

"How's Jeremy been?" Elena worried and Rebekah squeezed her hand.

"He doesn't know yet and hopefully when you're ready you will tell him," Caroline assured her and Elena let out a breath. "He had the compulsion taken off but Bonnie warned him away from Mystic."

"He and I had our closure and realized that we were looking for something between us that can't exist anymore," Bonnie sighed. "Sure it was heartbreaking but it was also…freeing in a way. He and I can't be anything but friends."

"So how did you transition to an Original?" Caroline asked and Elena grimaced.

"Esther first used magic to unlock my wolf side," Elena groaned. "Yeah-werewolf doppelganger!" Bonnie and Caroline looked surprised. "The Wicked Witch of the West spilled the beans on the Gilbert family-on John's side anyway-she unlocked my wolf side and I ended up drinking a lot of blood." She shook her head. "Then when Esther was going to kill Klaus I went in front of him and took the White Oak stake to the chest." She flexed her fingers as she snickered. "Then I thought I was in a fever dream with the compelled memories coming back, found my way to the Mikaelsons and partook in some blood."

"A fever dream?" Bonnie asked and Caroline nodded.

"It's like you're here and you're not here," Caroline explained. "I had no idea what was going on when I transitioned and after everything…I don't believe I have the hang of it still."

Bonnie looked wide-eyed.

"So when you killed that guy at the carnival…" she realized. "You weren't sure what you were doing except that the blood was calling to you and you felt like you were under a spell." Caroline nodded.

"All of us besides Elena have kill regrets," Rebekah told them. "Elena we've been monitoring to make sure that she doesn't do anything horrendous and then shut it off."

"Have you shifted yet?" Elena nodded. "How painful was it for you?"

"Imagine breaking and re breaking every bone in your body a thousand times," Elena whimpered. "I'm only going to shift once and pretty soon Elijah and I are going to be searching through the Gilbert books to find out which wolf bloodline I'm descended from."

Damon, Stefan, Elijah, Klaus and Kol were just sitting in the booth with food and booze.

"So how is Elena?" Stefan asked before Damon could. "Has she vocalized about missing her friends?"

"Or me?" Damon asked arrogantly.

"Her friends yes," Kol said nodding. "You? Nope. Not once." Then Kol's smirk turned wicked. "Then again with Elijah disrupting her thoughts with kisses and sex I'm pretty sure that she didn't even notice."

Elijah glared at his brother.

"It was only last night we were intimate," the older brother seethed. "Just last night!"

"But when we've been teaching her with one on one training," Klaus looked just as devious as Kol, "your hands had been on her sides and hips. Both pressed up against each other."

"I'm going to get more alcohol," Stefan said, as he was feeling uncomfortable.

"I'll join you," Elijah grumbled. As the two men went to get some more drinks Elijah looked at him. "She did say that she wished you both could have talked about the breakup without compulsion needed."

"Maybe one day we will talk about it," Stefan sighed. "Not at this moment and besides," here Stefan nodded his head, "she's better off with you. I've seen the way you both have looked at each other."

"You've let her go," Elijah realized.

"At the time it was for the best and when I thought I could have her again…I realized that I need to leave the town and maybe find someone who wants me that I want."

"What boys in school have crushes on you?" Rebekah asked once they finished The Princess Bride, Clue and Disney's Lady and the Tramp.

"Bonnie has Jamie-he doesn't go to our school-flirting with her," Caroline giggled. "As for me? So far I can't tell you as once they found out I was with Tyler I was labeled as 'off limits'."

"I have a feeling that I'm going to be labeled as 'off limits' when they find out I'm dating Elijah," Elena told them. "We had one date today so far."

"Let's talk about something else," Bonnie decided to change the subject. "Rebekah? What's your favorite thing about this century?"

"For starters the fact that women can wear trousers and not get mocked," Rebekah said with a thoughtful look. "Back in the 1920s I would walk down the street in trousers and it was scandalous. Nowadays? Not so much."

When the Mikaelson boys did return to the house at around midnight they peaked into Rebekah's room where Rebekah, Caroline and Bonnie were all knocked out and Elena looked ready to sleep. Her eyes searched Elijah's out and she went into his arms instantly, kissing him like her life depended on it.

"Precious," Elijah groaned once they pulled away, "are you okay?" She nodded and laid her head on his clavicle. "Are you worried about what wolf bloodline you come from?" She nodded again.

"What if we find them and they hate me?" She whispered.

"Then they're not your pack," Klaus whispered as he heard what she said. "If they can't accept you as a member of the pack then you're better off without them."

"Go back to the girls and try to sleep," Elijah whispered. "I'm going to be trying to find where some of the packs are at the moment."
