CHAPTER 3
Well this is the third chapter sorry I hadn't uploaded in such a while I had exams and they have just finished yesterday

The battle between the sky god-slayer and the fire mage was raging on though after romeo's fire enhanced kick there wasn't any magic used
It was pure hand-to-hand and chellia wasn't in the best situation
'I have never seen someone fight like this' chellia thought
Then romeo threw a hook to her left which she dodged by stepping back that would be her mistake as romeo from his position spinned around and landed a back elbow to her ribs
He didn't gave her any time as he spinned again but now in the air using the momentum from the elbow and landed a kick on chellia's temple (a 540 kick)
He didn't stop his onslaught as when he got in his stance again he striked her with the knee upwards causing her to fly a few meters away
"Woah" lyon uttered
"I have never seen someone fight like that" ren said
"it's a martial arts" eve started "it is the 'art of eight limbs' '
"how does it work" sherry asked
" it is a martial arts that incorporates the use of punches, kicks, elbows and knees, it uses a lot of conditioning of the body and they say who has mastered this, their bones are as strong as metal" eve explained "it was created for war so thus, it is quite brutal"
Chellia was currently on the ground she was shocked by the amount of physical strength her opponent had
Though she had cards up her sleeve too
As a bright light surrounded from her body romeo was forced to cover his eyes
After the light died romeo opened his eyes to see a completely unscathed chellia smiling there victoriously
"well, if you are wondering then know my god-slayer magic heals me up" she said standing up and looking at her opponent her smile almost bordering on arrogant
"you are quite good" he complimented her
"aww thanks, you are not pretty bad either" she replied the earlier bordering on arrogant smile gone and the bubbly face again
"but I am afraid I must take you down" he said his voice now almost sounding evil
Chellia looked up in his eyes and noticed the joyfull smile on his face and for some reason she felt very intimidated by it
As then romeo got in a position with his body facing right, knees slightly bend fists on chin level
And then a red magic circle appeared underneath him and from the sides of the borders of the magic circle erupted bright dark- red flames
After the flames died down romeo's forearm and and feet were covered in dark-red flames burning violently
Chellia was surprised by the whole thing and curious to what her opponent did
But deciding to cast them way for now she got a battle expression
Romeo like a bull charged towards her hid fiery fist positioned for a punch with speed that sure as hell wasn't there before
Chellia put both of her arms in front of her arms in a high guard and a little above her head (because romeo being 5 inches taller than, her standing 5'0 and romeo 5'5 his punches have been somewhat near her forehead) and covered them in black winds
When the punch connected it had so much force that chellia was thrown away atleast 10 meters back but she gracefully landed manipulating the winds
'those winds in the least blocked 40% of my attack' romeo thought
' the winds saved me' chellia thought 'his non-magic strikes were giving me trouble, those red flames seems to enhanced his physical characteristics, it would be best if I don't get close'
Thinking this using her winds she jumped in the air high and flipping herself in a up-side down position covered her leg in black winds
"sky god's scythe" she announced and kicked the black winds shooting towards romeo in a slanting way
Romeo seeing this outstretched palm facing forwards and this time a purple magic-circle appeared and purple fire started emerging from his hand
"purple fire: wall"
And the fire then formed into hexagonal pieces and created a circular, round wall in front of him
When the wind and the fire met it was a violent clash as the fire blocked the winds it had a lot of force and romeo was pushed back a few meters
"what is this guy he has used three color of fire" toby shouted
"the fire also seems to have different uses" jenny added
"do you know anything about it jura" lyon asked the wizard saint thinking the knowledgeable man knew
"yes I do just a little though" jura started "the magic he is using is called rainbow flame"
"rainbow flame ?" many questioned
"it is a magic that incorporates seven different types of fire magic, each color having its different property" jura explained "from what I have seen looks like the red flames enhance his physical characteristics, the green flame as I told you before is a lost magic that is stronger than regular fire-magic and the purple fire seems to have maker-magic properties"
When the dust that was created by the clash cleared out
Romeo was nowhere to be seen
'where did he go' chellia thinks
And she not wanting to be caught did what she thought to be the best option
She jumped and hovered high above the ground
'hopefully I deflected his plan' thinking this she surveyed the area and found her target stealthily hiding in a tree
'got him' she thought as black winds emerged from her hand
"sky god's boreas" she announced as she threw the sphere of wind currents towards the tree her opponent was hiding
The winds met with the target and blasted the tree causing splinters to fly in the air and chellia to worry if she got a little overboard
But as the dust that had erupted from the attack cleared out there was no one to be seen
'what, I was surely I saw hiding….did he moved out of the way but I would have noticed ' chellia thought so surprised she lost her battle composure
As she was wondering what happened to her opponent a voice behind her said out loudly
"RAINBOW CANON " the voice announced and chellia had time just to turn around and saw a mass of rainbow colored fire same size as her in the shape of a sphere coming straight towards her and her opponent flying in the air a little above her
She was lucky enough to dodge it in time
Well dodge most of it anyway
A portion of the fire ball hit her to be precise on the left shoulder, arm, and thigh with taking the clothes on that part too
The pain was unbearable it was a lot of force along with MASSIVE burn that almost felt caustic
The remaining sphere of fire landed on the ground with a massive explosion and a shockwave that was so strong the ground broke under the pressure some of it melted pebbles and small rocks were thrown in the air along with pieces of the ground that broke were thrown in the air which was already full of dust and from far away one would to look he would see a huge cloud of dust
"Damn I didn't expect this" yuka said having his arms covering his eyes and crouching low so the rocks in the air don't hit him many were using the same technique he was using
During this chaos everyone heard a voices
"iron rock wall" came the booming voice of jura as the sound of earth moving and rose the ground in front of them as rectangular pillars
"I will carry it from here" ren said confidently swinging his arms in a circular motion
While this was happening romeo was on his knee and arm panting hard covered in a purple fire shell to protect himself from the projectiles from his own explosion having a mental conversation with himself
'Did I go too overboard, both on her and myself,' he thought 'It's been a awhile since I have had to use that ' he wipes the sweat forming on his forehead from the free arm remembering the time that his sensei totomaru had warned him about using it for the devastating ability of the spell both on the caster and the target he told him to only use only on the time of emergency he knew this probably wasn't one but its alright he had enough battle for today and he had a destination to visit anyway
After his thought had come to a stop he heard sound of winds rustling and in a few moments the dust was going away with the gales of wind and some pebbles that came flying towards his direction none hit him but would'n do any damage because he was covered in the purple shell
After the cloud of dust was gone romeo dismissed his purple shell and fell on is butt sitting panting hard and then he looked at the direction his foe would have been
And sure enough there was the god-slayer of the second strongest guild in the country supporting second-degree burns her clothes too a little burned and her eyes closed as she had a little pained expression on her face her body was a little twitching but she was sure enough passed out
And there was the result he had defeated her
He had defeated, chelia blendy the strongest rookie in the nation, or perhaps not he had defeated her
So that was it now he is the strongest in the nation
romeo conbolt is now the strongest child in his home country and perhaps not soon but will be the strongest man in the world
'someday I will be' romeo thought looking at the sky
if you are disappointed that the fight was a little short I don't blame you I thought I should finish it quickly because(spoiler) chelia won't be in the story other than this chapter nor will be the other canon characters this is a complete OC
