Troubled face
Headphones on
Forgetting time and place
All he wanted
Dark eyes scanned the spacious gym he was in, ignoring the growing pain in his butt from the wooden bleachers he sat on. The court was taken up by his male classmates playing volleyball, the girls doing their PE class outside today. Sasuke opted out of participating in the game going on, lying to his teacher that he wasn't feeling well although that wasn't too far off from the truth. His eyes annoyingly were drawn to the tan boy who successfully spiked the ball past the net. The boy's blond hair was wild in every direction and his blue eyes shone with excitement as his face broke out into a huge, triumphant grin. Sasuke hated the way his gut erupted in butterflies when their eyes met. Dark eyes immediately broke contact. Sasuke turned his airpods' volume up through his phone, praying that the music would drown out the illicit thoughts threatening to break through his mind whenever he saw his blond classmate.
Feeling stuck
Set him free
Running out of luck
On his knees
Gym period ended pretty uneventfully for Sasuke. While in the locker room, he dressed slowly back into his school clothes as he waited to be alone. Sasuke didn't like how pale and lean his body was compared to his classmates, especially him. Only in the company of himself did Sasuke finally feel the need to change out of his gym shirt. As he took off his shirt, however, the locker room door burst open. Sasuke would have glared at the person to death if said person wasn't Naruto Uzumaki himself.
"Uh...hey!" Naruto greeted walking further into the locker room, stopping by his own locker.
Sasuke stood in a short silence before collecting his thoughts. "...What are you still doing here?"
Naruto raised an eyebrow. "I should be asking you that, Mr-Perfect-Trying-to-skip-class?"
Sasuke would have responded sarcastically if Naruto hadn't decided to take off his own gym shirt, his basketball practices apparently paying off in the long run. The tan and tone muscles were impossible to look away from and not stop and appreciate them the way Sasuke was doing now. Sweat broke out on the dark haired boy's forehead. Sasuke felt his luck running out.
First time he kissed a boy
He had never, never known
Cover up is what they told
Feel so cold
Sasuke can still remember the taste of spoiled milk when remembering his first kiss. It was coincidentally with Naruto, his sworn enemy at the time. Sasuke liked to think he hated Naruto because of how annoying his loud voice boomed or how persistent the blond could be, but in the back of his mind, Sasuke always knew he was putting up a front. He just didn't realize it until Naruto kissed him on that fateful day. Sasuke wished he could have hated that kiss the way he acted, but in reality, Sasuke found out why he was different from the rest because of it. No one in town was like him or even like people like him, and he hated himself for it.
First time he kissed a boy
He had never, never loved
Walks on a curvy road
Feel so cold
Sasuke spent all his days thinking about those chapped lips that stole his first kiss. He couldn't understand for the life of him how Naruto could be so...okay with kissing another boy. The blond boy hadn't brought up the kiss or anything of that nature since that day. Wasn't he plagued with guilt too? Didn't not hating the feeling of Naruto's lips on his make Sasuke gay? Or were the butterflies in Sasuke's stomach, which fluttered whenever Naruto was nearby, a side effect of the physical intimacy Sasuke wasn't used to? He didn't know and the longer they went without addressing the topic, the more it made Sasuke feel like it was all in his head. That he alone felt that way and he'd never felt colder in his life.
Keeping back
The ghost inside
Locked him in a pack
All his life
All his life
Sasuke didn't like other boys. There was no way that he could ever picture himself in bed with another man or holding hands with a hand of similar size or bigger than his. It was disgusting to think that there were men out there together. Being gay is a choice that Sasuke didn't pick because why would he? Liking other boys was what gets you ostracized in town. Sasuke wasn't like that.
First time he kissed a boy
He had never, never known
Cover up is what they told
Feel so cold
It was just a kiss, it didn't mean anything.
First time he kissed a boy
He had never, never loved
Walks on a curvy road
Feel
Or at least that was what Sasuke would have liked to think. Now with a shirtless Naruto in front of him, talking aimlessly with a stupid grin on his face, Sasuke couldn't help but acknowledge the bubbling warmth inside him that boiled whenever Naruto was by his side. What was wrong about liking someone that brought such a great feeling to him? He began to walk closer to his classmate.
Get lost, get lost, get lost
Get lost, get lost, get lost
Sasuke could remember internally screaming at himself to get rid of his illicit feelings. It wasn't natural for him, but now all he was internally screaming was for those negative feelings to go away. He'd never done anything wrong. Why was he guilt tripped into believing his feelings didn't matter like the rest? He wished he could escape the homophobia embedded within the streets and walls of his small town. He wished it would all get lost.
First time he kissed a boy
He had never, never known
Cover up is what they told
Feel so cold
First time he kissed a boy
He had never, never loved
Walks on a curvy road
Feel
Sasuke moved close enough to Naruto and the blond had stopped talking. Blue eyes looked hesitantly at dark ones while dark eyes focused on the chapped lips in front of them.
"So you remembered." Naruto whispered against Sasuke's lips.
"I never forgot." Sasuke responded in a similar whisper.
Sasuke let his lips glide across Naruto's, trying to convey to Naruto what he wanted despite them identifying as the same gender. Sasuke halted in his movements, looking up into Naruto's downcast eyes. In a blink of an eye, Sasuke felt another drier pair of lips on his, a tan hand holding the back of his head tightly.
Get lost, get lost, get lost
Get lost, get lost, get lost
Sasuke became lost in the fiery kiss with Naruto. At that moment, nothing else in the world mattered to Sasuke. Nothing else did after the First Time He Kissed a Boy.
