Chapter 3

SouthunLady: Thx, glad you like it.

The following day, the team was drinking coffee and going over their notes. Suddenly Mr. and Mrs. Jensen rushed in a panic.

"Agents!" Mrs. Jensen shrieked.

"Mrs. Jensen?" asked JJ.

"What's going on?" wondered Chief Paulson.

"We got this in the mail." Mr. Jensen informed.

Mrs. Jensen held an envelope in her hands, and poured out a necklace.

"What is this?" asked Morgan.

"This is Emma's necklace, we bought it for her birthday." Mrs. Jensen informed.

"How'd you get this?" Reid questioned.

"We found it in our mailbox this morning." explained Mr. Jensen.

Chief Paulson took Mr. and Mrs. Jensen for questioning, while the BAU tried to figure out what to do next.

"The unsub sent Mr. and Mrs. Jensen their daughter's necklace." said Rossi.

"I wonder if the rest of the girls' parents received anything." thought Prentiss.

And they went to the phones.

Back at the warehouse, the unsub looked at surveillance screens where the girls were being held. He enjoyed watching them try and get free, look scared, and shiver.

"They now feel the same pain I did." he told himself.

He then used the controls to zoom in on Emma.

"Especially you."

After getting off the phone with the rest of the parents, the BAU grouped back together, and included Chief Paulson.

"None of the other parents got anything from their daughters, just the Jensens." said JJ.

"You know, the girls' mothers attended the same sorority. Maybe this has something to do with them." suggested Rossi.

"I think we have a profile, but we're giving it to the mothers too." Hotch instructed.

They gathered some of the other officers and called the girls' moms to come as well.

"The unsub we're looking for is a man. He's most likely white and in his 40s." Rossi told them.

"He's someone who might have a simple demeaning job, where others look down on him." added Reid.

"He might be someone from your ladies." Prentiss informed.

"Our lives?" wondered Mrs. Rogers.

"You all were in the same sorority together as your daughters are. It's a possibility." Morgan explained.

The women looked at each other curiously. Then the officers spread out, and the mothers went to another part of the station. Meanwhile the BAU called Garcia.

"Garcia's home of many answers." she greeted.

"Garcia can you look into the backgrounds of the girls mothers?" Hotch requested.

"Want me to find anything specific?"

"Anything that would've caused any trouble or would've caused anyone to get angry at them." instructed Rossi.

"I'm on it." Garcia told them.

After a while Garcia called them back.

"What'd you find out Garcia?" asked JJ.

"I did some digging, and there's nothing really too iffy in their pasts."

"Nothing at all?" asked Morgan.

"Sorry my prince, nothing would cause something like this to happen."

"Thanks, Garcia anyway." Rossi told her, and hung up.

Then the mothers came to the agents.

"Agents?" asked Mrs. Wilson.

"Yes, Mrs. Jensen?" asked Hotch.

"There might be something we could tell you that could help." said Mrs. Palmer.

"Why don't we take a seat?" suggested Prentiss.

They all sat in an empty conference room, and the ladies began to explain.

"You've mentioned this monster could be someone from our pasts and that we all went to the same sorority as our daughters." started Mrs. Stevens.

"And there was something that happened." added Mrs. Cooper.

"What happened?" asked Reid.

"Well...when we were in college we sort pulled a mean prank on someone." confessed Rogers.

"A prank? On who?" asked JJ.

"George, I forget his last name, but we did it for me." Mrs. Jensen explained.

Back in the 80s, when all the mothers were young co-eds, Mrs. Jensen had caught the eyes of some guy. He asked her out, but she gently turned him down. But that didn't stop him, he kept following her around campus, stalking around the sorority house, and just being a pest and a creep.

One day, Mrs. Jensen invited him to a little party that her sorority was having. He was overjoyed, that he was finally getting his chance, but he was very wrong. The second he entered the house, a bucket full of glue fell on him, and a feather pillow was torn and feathers flew all over and stuck to him.

Everyone laughed hysterically. He then looked up at Mrs. Jensen and her friends.

"B-but I thought you wanted to date me?" he stuttered to her.

"You seriously think I'd give you a chance?" Mrs. Jensen asked.

"Get real, loser." remarked Mrs. Rogers.

"Like you could be in our league." Mrs. Cooper sneered.

"What a loser." joked Mrs. Stevens.

As everyone laughed at him, the boy couldn't take it anymore, and ran out of the sorority house.

"We sure showed him." Mrs. Palmer told Mrs. Jensen.

"We won't be bothering you anymore, Jessica." Mrs. Wilson added.

"You got that right."

"You tared and feathered him?" asked Morgan.

"We're not proud of what we did now. But the guy wouldn't leave me alone." Mrs. Jensen explained.

"Did you tell any administrators about him?" wondered JJ.

"I did, and they said they talked to him. But still kept bothering me."

"It's true. He really didn't get it." added Mrs. Rogers.

"Did he ever bother you again?" questioned Rossi.

"No, never saw him again."

The team looked at each other, now they were starting to get somewhere.
