With their missions completed, the two teams will meet up in the world of the Symphogears to reunite with Kanade and Serena's allies and to investigate the original source of the Dimension Fragments, Gjallarhorn. And from there, a new multiversal team will be born.

1. Guardians

Book 3: XDR Rising

Chapter 1: Guardians

So far; Zeo, Gaius, Kanade and Serena have saved the world of Gunvolt and captured the Distortion Fragment, which originally came from a powerful complete Relic known as, Gjallarhorn; which was currently broken into fragments and scattered across the multiverse. Thanks to their newest members; Gunvolt, Joule, Copen and Lola, they have learned vital information about the Relic's existence and where it originally came from; the world of the Symphogears, Kanade and Serena's homeworld. But before they can depart for the Symphogear world, they needed to contact Akira's team first for extraction.

Speaking of Akira's team, they've recently saved Sequin Land; the world of Shantae, and captured another Distortion Fragment. They've also gained plenty of new allies on their fight against the Neo Time Jackers, but Akira also met with another Pretty Cure who is also part of another team searching for the Distortion Fragments. Thanks to the USB Memory Drive given by Cure Darkmoon; the leader of the other team, Akira requested Einstein and Tesla to examine the data inside the USB Drive to locate their next destination.

But the question is: How will these two teams of heroes reunite once again?

Sands of Time

Zi-O Liner, Dining Area

"Hmm... I wonder what's taking so long for that data to be uncovered?" Akira pondered while sitting on the chair and drinking some tea, as the Zi-O Liner traveled through the Sands of Time.

"Patience, Akira Naotora. I'm sure Einstein and Tesla will figure it out soon." Woz assured while also sitting down and drinking some tea.

"I guess so." Akira sighed. "Still, never thought it would be just us sitting together. Though I do miss my brother, Gaius, Kanade and Serena."

"I'm sure they'll be just fine. Who knows, maybe they might take a bit longer for them to finish their mission, hence why they haven't contacted us yet."

"If you say so, Woz. Once we found our next location to visit, I'm sending them a text message."

"That would be wise." Woz agreed with Akira. "Plus, you've made a lot of new allies during your mission at Sequin Land."

"Yeah." Akira smiled. "Right now, some were busy relaxing and playing games at the Lounge Area, while others are busy honing their skills at the Training Area. The Zi-O Liner really has it all, huh?"

"Though eventually, like all transports, it does need to refuel before we can continue to travel through the multiverse once more." Woz pointed out.

"True." Akira agreed. "But hey, at least we have plenty of food and water for us to store for later, and plenty of gems to sell for money."

"Indeed." Woz replied.

"But there's two things that's still bothering me: What is Gjallarhorn? And who is Cure Darkmoon working with since she's not with the Neo Time Jackers?" Akira thought, until they heard an announcement coming from the train speakers.

"Akira, could you please come by to the Lab Area immediately? We've just finished examining the USB Drive." Einstein informed via speakers.

"Well, that's my cue. Time to find out where our next destination is gonna be." Akira declared as she got off her chair. "See ya, Woz." After that, she went towards the front train door, opened it with a push of a button and went inside to head for the Lab Area as the door closed behind her.

"Hm. It won't be long till the reunion comes." Woz simply smiled before taking another sip of tea while waiting for what's to come.

Meanwhile in Gunvolt's World...

City Area, Rooftops

Daytime

"Hmm... Akira's taking a long while to call us or even send a text message." Zeo commented while checking his Zikan Phone as he, Gaius, Kanade, Serena, Gunvolt and Copen in their casual attire, were sitting down and waiting for Akira's response, with the two Time Mazines parked behind them.

"Maybe she's busy fighting a powerful enemy right now." Kanade guessed with her arms crossed.

"Or maybe it's because of the enemy's signal jammer." Copen also guessed with his hand on his chin.

"Or it's because of both." Gunvolt also guessed with his hands behind his head.

"Okay, now I'm really worried about her." Serena said with worry.

"Don't worry, Serena. She's a Pretty Cure now, so she should be just fine. Plus, Kallen and Sakura are with her too." Gaius assured.

"I really hope so." Serena replied.

"Still, I've never thought that there were so many Pretty Cures before, just like the Kamen Riders." Gunvolt commented after Zeo and Gaius told the group about the Pretty Cures earlier.

"Yep. And every year, a new hero will take its place as the world's protector and freedom fighter." Zeo replied.

"I see. Makes me wonder if we're ever going to meet them someday." Gunvolt said.

"Time will tell, GV. Sooner or later, time will tell." Gaius replied.

"Ugh. I'm getting really bored just waiting for your sister's call, Zeo. Are you sure we have to wait for her answer before we can move on?" Lola complained from inside Copen's Relic Pendant.

"Now now, Lola. We'll just have to leave it to Zeo and Gaius for the time being. We can't wait forever, so something is bound to happen soon." Joule replied from inside Gunvolt's Relic Pendant.

"Such as...?"

*BOOOOM!*

As if right on cue, an explosion occurred, making them stand up and turned their sights onto the source of the explosion. From a distance, they saw a cloud of smoke and even heard blaster fire. "Well I hope you're happy, Lola. You've provoked Murphy's Law." Zeo deadpanned at Lola.

"Sorry."

"Akira's response is going to take a while to wait, so we'll take this time to investigate what's going on over there." Gaius declared.

"Oh well. Sitting around here and doing nothing is never going to get us anywhere." Kanade grinned while stretching.

"Gunvolt, let's just use our normal battle attire for now. We'll only use our Faust Robes as a last resort." Copen advised.

"Gotcha." Gunvolt nodded back as they took out their Zikan Phones that Copen made, and materialized large white vertical rectangular fields in front of them. And when the fields went through them, Gunvolt and Copen were changed into their battle attire.

Gunvolt is now in his dark blue and black battlesuit with his holstered gun on his right hip, the Dart Leader. While Copen is now in his white and red battle armour with his holstered upgraded gun on his right hip, the Divider; the same white and black pistol but with three red spikes on the underside of the barrel. He also wears an adjustable headset with a pair of visors on the ends.

"Hold on, when did you get a new headset and an upgraded pistol?" Gunvolt asked after noticing Copen's gear.

"I've also made these last night while building our Zikan Phones." Copen answered.

"Huh, fancy that."

"Makes me wonder if you'll help me make more of the Legatus or the X-Baton." Gaius remarked to Copen.

"Hm, I might give it a try if we have some free time later." Copen replied. "Does the Zi-O Liner have a Lab Area?"

"Uhh... we never got a chance to explore the entire train yet. We were in a hurry." Gaius replied back, with Zeo also nodding.

"I see."

"Come on, Serena! Time to suit up!" Kanade said.

"Right with you, Kanade!" Serena replied as they brought out their Relic Pendants before singing their Relic Chant.

"Croitzal ronzell Gungnir zizzl..."

"Seilien coffin Airgetlám tron..."

After glowing in a bright light from singing, they were transformed into their Symphogear armours, with Kanade in a orange, red and white battlesuit and Serena in a bright yellow and silver battlesuit.

"Time for us to go too, Gaius!" Zeo said.

"Right behind you!" Gaius replied as they equipped their Ziku Drivers onto their waists.

=ZIKU DRIVER!=

Next, they brought out their Ridewatches, turned the dials and pushed the button.

Then they inserted the Ridewatches onto their belts, slammed the tilt button and performed their transformation poses. "Henshin!" They shouted before giving the belts a 360 turn.

After the transformation process, Zeo and Gaius are now transformed into Kamen Rider Zi-O and Geiz. After that, the group quickly hopped onto the Time Mazines, with the Riders on the driver's seats, revved up the engines, and blast off towards the source of the explosion.

City Area, Ground Level

Meanwhile at the source of the explosion, a battle was already taking place between remnants of the fallen Sumeragi Group and a group of human soldiers in green uniforms wearing green helmets with red visors and wielding blasters. So far, both sides are in a stalemate, though the Sumeragi remnants are gaining the upper hand with superior weaponry and mechs. They even manage to injure some of the green soldiers as some of them pulled back to their safe zone while carrying away the injured.

One male soldier is about to be sliced in half by a Sumeragi mech with a chainsaw... until it was shot through the chest and the head from above before falling over and shutting down. The person landed behind the fallen mech and took a quick look at the soldier, making him smile at the one who saved him. "Thanks for the save, Ashe... Gotten a little careless there..." The soldier said to the one named Ashe.

"Heh, anytime! Just try to be careful, alright? We gotta stay alive no matter where we are." Ashe replied with a grin before looking towards the group of Sumeragi troops. Ashe looks like a 15 year old girl with green eyes and wearing dark blue and light gray armour with red accents and a red and dark blue chestplate. Her light blue ponytail hair also stuck out from the upper back of her helmet which is mostly black with a two-pronged red crest with yellow horns extending further from their ends and the bolt on the front center. And she also wielding a pair of grey hand cannons. "Alright, who's next for the bounty?!" She taunted the enemy troops with a grin while aiming towards them.

She was about to fire her hand cannons onto the Sumeragi soldiers, until someone else fired several homing lasers from above and destroyed the groups of soldiers before landing in front of Ashe while looking forward. "Hey! Those were mine, Grey! I was just about to teach them a lesson!" Ashe scolded the one named Grey, making said person turn around.

Grey is a 15 year old boy wearing the same armour and helmet as Ashe, along with using the same weapons. Only difference is that he has a pair of red wires at the back of his armour. "Sorry, but we can't afford to waste time here! We need to hold the line until Vent and Alie comes back from investigating the Underground Laboratory!" Grey replied back before looking forward with his hand cannons ready.

"Alright, alright." Ashe shrugged as she went beside Grey with her hand cannons ready. "First that weird quake, and now this. And are you sure these guys look like Mavericks?"

"I think the answer is obvious if they are attacking us and the Guardians." Grey pointed out.

"Good point."

"Grey, Ashe, we're not done yet! There's another wave coming this way!" Said the voice coming from Grey and Ashe's helmet.

"Roger that, Model A!" They complied before running towards the groups of Sumeragi soldiers while unloading their energy bullets onto them.

Grey dodged and jumped over several enemy bullets before countering with homing lasers followed by a charge shot, decimating a group of Sumeragi troops. Ashe jumped over another group of soldiers while unloading several homing lightning bolts before landing behind them and watching them explode. She then followed up with a charged laser shot that pierced through several Sumeragi mechs before exploding.

Afterwards, Ashe regrouped with Grey as another wave of Sumeragi troops surround them. "Well... this is about to get messy real quick." Ashe commented. "Any ideas, Grey?"

"No choice. We'll have to use the Giga Crush to stop them!" Grey answered.

"Oh well! No time like the present!" Ashe agreed as they began to charge themselves up before flinging out both pistols in a flurry of bullet fire, destroying multiple groups of Sumeragi troops until there's none left. After that, they both panted from exhaustion from the attack. "Phew... I think... that's the last... of them..." She panted.

"Yeah... I hope so... too..." Grey also panted.

"Uhh... guys?" Model A spoke. "I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but..." And then a large Sumeragi mech walker with a pair of machine cannons on its arms and a pair of missile pods on the shoulders landed from above and in front of the two fighters. "...there's one more."

"Oh, come on!" Ashe groaned in annoyance.

"Wait, so this is the last one?" Grey asked Model A.

"I sure hope so since this one looks like a commander mech! Once we destroy that, we can finally get some breathing room!" Model A stated.

"Then we'd better finish this quickly!" Ashe replied before turning to Grey. "You still in this, Grey?!"

"I can keep going! Let's finish this up!" Grey nodded back before they turned to the giant mech as it prepared its weapons.

The mech opened up the missile racks and launched multiple missiles onto them. But just as they were about to destroy the missiles with their homing blasts, two mysterious figures landed in front of them and blocked the missile strikes with their Flashfields. After the attack ended, they dispersed the Flashfields before turning towards Grey and Ashe. And those saviours turned out to be Gunvolt the Azure Striker, and Copen the Luminous Avenger. "Are you two alright?" Gunvolt asked them.

"Oh... uh... we're fine, thanks." Grey answered.

"Who in the world are you two?" Ashe asked the two saviours.

"We're just passing through travelers, that's all." Copen answered before they turned to the Sumeragi mech, reloading its missiles. "I've never thought there would be remnants of the Sumeragi Group here." He commented after seeing the familiar logo on the mech.

"Sumeragi Group?" Grey and Ashe repeated in confusion.

"You two never even heard of them?" Gunvolt questioned, making the two shake their heads in response.

"I thought it was another Maverick." Ashe said.

"Maverick?" Gunvolt and Copen repeated in confusion, until they head the mech letting out steam as it finished reloading.

"I think we'd better get rid of this mech first before any explanations." Grey declared as they prepared their battle stances.

"Gotcha!" Ashe agreed before asking the other two. "By the way, I'm Ashe and this is Gray. What are your names?"

"I'm Gunvolt, and this is Copen." The Azure Striker introduced.

"And don't worry, we're not the only reinforcements here." Copen added.

"Huh?" Grey and Ashe responded, until they saw several red slash waves, several knives, energy arrows and blaster shots striking the mech and pushing it backwards. And then four more people landed in front of Gunvolt and Copen, making them smirk at their arrival. It was the Kamen Riders; Zi-O and Geiz, and the Symphogears; Kanade and Serena.

"Took you guys long enough to reach here." Gunvolt smirked the arrivals with their weapons ready.

"Sorry, traffic's been a pain in the ass." Zi-O quipped.

"I'm just surprised there's still some surviving Sumeragi troops here." Geiz added.

"They really should surrender already since their leader is long gone." Serena sighed.

"Though I guess some people are TOO stubborn to understand that." Kanade also sighed.

"Guys, these two are Grey and Ashe. They were busy fighting the Sumeragi remnants." Gunvolt introduced the two newcomers.

"Oh, I see. Nice to meet..." Zi-O suddenly cut off his sentence when he and Geiz looked at the newcomers, and it made them feel completely shocked at who those two people are. "Grey and Ashe?! The two chosen Mega Men?!" Zi-O exclaimed in shock.

"Huh?!" Grey responded in shock.

"You know about us?!" Ashe exclaimed.

"Uh... well... how to explain this..." Geiz struggled to answer.

"Uh, can we PLEASE kill this mech already before explaining everything?!" Lola exclaimed to the group.

"Huh? Oh, right! The mech!" Zi-O quickly shrugged off his state of shock.

"Good point. Talk later, destroy the mech now!" Geiz agreed with Lola as everyone turned towards the mech and prepared their battle stances.

"Huh, looks like another Mantis. Been a while since I've fought one of these." Gunvolt remarked when he looked at the mech.

"I see. I fought one of these too." Copen replied before turning to the Mega Men. "Listen up, we're taking out its weapons first. That way, the core will reveal itself. When it does, think you two can deliver the final blow?"

"Understood!" Grey nodded.

"Heh, we've fought mechaniloids like these before! So this is nothing for us!" Ashe grinned.

"Mecha-what?" Kanade responded.

"Another term for large robots with subhuman intelligence." Grey explained.

"...I'll just stick with mecha, thanks."

"Serena, care to sing for us this time while we take this mech down?" Geiz requested, earning a nod from her.

"Wait, sing? At a time like this?" Ashe questioned.

"You'll find out, trust us." Gunvolt replied with a smirk as Serena began to sing her song.

As Serena sang her song, everyone prepared themselves to take down the Mantis mech. Grey and Ashe however, were a little stunned and confused at where the music came from. "Wait, am I the only one hearing this?" Ashe asked her partner.

"No, I heard it too. This song, it's coming from that girl over there!" Grey replied as he looked at Serena singing while preparing her knife.

"Who are these people...?" Ashe questioned as she stared at Serena and the others, before shaking her head. "You know what, that can wait. And besides..." She told Grey before they turned to the mech. "I could use some music for a little motivation to kick ass!" She finished with a grin.

"Whatever you say, Ashe." Grey sighed before getting serious. "Let's go!"

First off, the Mantis began to fire off its machine cannons, prompting the group to dodge the bullets and find cover. They managed to find some cover from destroyed vehicles and waited for the Mantis to stop shooting. "Zi-O, Geiz, when the Mantis begins to reload, I need you both to cut down those machine cannons!" Gunvolt requested.

"Got it!" The Riders complied as they slotted the Ridewatches onto their Zikan Weapons Melee Mode. Kaixa for Zi-O, and Faiz for Geiz. When the Mantis ceased firing and began to reload, the Riders quickly rushed towards the mech and sliced off both of the machine cannons with a red and yellow photon slash, skidding the mech back.

Then the Mantis opened up its missile pods and launched multiple missiles onto the Riders. Gunvolt and Copen quickly got in front of the Riders and unleashed their Flashfields to block the missiles. "Kanade, Serena, take down the missile pods before they close up!" Copen ordered, earning a nod from them. In response, they Symphogears charged up their Armed Gears and threw them towards the missile pods, destroying them upon impact and disabling them.

SAGITTARIUS∞ARROW

GNOME†TRIAL

"Okay, that takes care of its weapons!" Kanade stated as they quickly regrouped.

"Hold on, there's one more weapon!" Gunvolt cautioned the group.

"Really? Where is it?" Ashe asked... until they noticed the Mantis opening up its mouth and began to charge up a powerful laser. "...Oh."

"Take cover!" Grey yelled as the Mantis fired the laser, prompting the group to jump away from the laser as it blasts through the streets until it struck a building, making it collapse in one shot. "Phew... now that was close..." Grey commented after seeing the damage.

Soon after, the Mantis began to cool down before charging up its laser again. "Not this time!" Gunvolt said before giving Copen a nod, making him nod back before they quickly prepared to attack the Mantis while its recharging. Copen activated his Prism Break Ex Weapon on his attack bits and created a large prism before launching it towards the Mantis' mouth. After the prism struck its mouth, Gunvolt charged up his free hand and launched his Dragonsphere onto its mouth, detonating it into a Crashbolt upon impact and disabling the laser, forcing the mech's upper body to move down and reveal its orange weakspot at the top of the mech. "Grey, Ashe, take the shot now!" Gunvolt yelled to the Mega Men, earning a nod from them.

"We're joining in too!" Zi-O added as the Riders charged up their Zikan Weapons Ranged Mode to full power and aimed at the weakspot.

=FINISH TIME! KAIXA!=

=FINISH TIME! FAIZ!=

"You're finished!" They yelled before firing their charged weapons.

=ZURE ZURE SHOOTING!=

=GIWA GIWA SHOOT!=

The Riders and the Mega Men fired their charge shots, combining them into a more powerful photon blast as it struck the Mantis' weakspot, destroying it and the entire mech in the process. Once the mech is destroyed, everyone holstered their weapons as the fight is over.

"Phew... that takes care of that." Model A declared.

"Agreed." Grey replied.

"Wait, who are you talking to?" Gunvolt questioned.

"Oh, right. I was just talking to Model A. Only chosen Mega Men can speak with the Biometals." Grey answered.

"Biometal? Model A? Mega Men?" Copen repeated in confusion.

"Wait, you never even heard of those before?" Grey questioned Copen, who shook his head in response.

"You know what, I'm just gonna come out and say it. This isn't our world, is it?" Ashe asked the group.

"Yeah, you're in Gunvolt's world. Same planet, different world." Zi-O answered, shocking the two Mega Men.

"Wait, same planet? You mean that this is Earth, but in another world?!" Grey questioned the group, earning a nod from them and making him sigh. "No way... I can't believe that weird quake like that would transport all of us to another world..."

When Grey mentioned the words, 'weird quake', the group's eyes widen in shock. "Wait, weird quake? A Dimension Quake happened in your world too?!" Geiz questioned him.

"A Dimension Quake? Is that what that weird quake is called?" Grey asked, earning a nod from the group.

"So how did you end up here in this world?" Serena asked the Mega Men.

"Well, we were busy helping out the Guardians for another mission involving a Maverick attack at another country." Ashe explained.

"Maverick?" The group repeated in confusion, except for the Kamen Riders since they knew who they were due to video game knowledge.

"Basically robots gone rouge and attack innocent people and robots." Ashe explained.

"Ah, okay."

"Anyway, we were on board the Guardian Base airship along with the other Guardians, their commander; Prairie, and the other two Mega Men; Vent and Aile." Ashe continued. "And during our route, that Dimension Quake happened and made everything turn white. And when we woke up, we ended up here in this world. Luckily, everyone made it out alive and in one piece."

"Thank goodness for that." Kanade replied with relief. "So who are the Guardians? And what's a Mega Man?

"The Guardians are a peacekeeping force that investigates Maverick outbreaks and protect towns and cities from Maverick attacks." Ashe explained.

"As for what a Mega Man is, we transform into Mega Men when using a Biometal, giving us special armours while enhancing our normal abilities and use of its weaponry." Grey explained. "But not everyone can become a Mega Man. Hence why some people call us Chosen Mega Men."

"In other words, it's the Biometals themselves that chose the users." Copen pointed out.

"Correct. That's how our Biometal, Model A, chose us to become Mega Men." Grey replied.

"I guess in your case, you and Ashe share the same Biometal." Gunvolt pointed out to Grey, who nodded in response.

"Anyway, you wanna go and visit our commander? We'll need you to explain to her about what happened." Ashe suggested.

"I don't see why not." Kanade agreed. "Grey, Ashe, lead the way."

"Ah, could you give me and Geiz a moment to get our Time Mazines? They're our hoverbikes." Zi-O requested.

"Sure thing." Grey replied with a nod as the Riders quickly used their Zikan Phones to call forth their Time Mazines, which eventually arrived after a few moments. The Mega Men were in awe at how the Time Mazines look like. "That's... a very big hoverbike." Grey remarked.

"There's a reason for that, but we'll tell you why later." Geiz answered as everyone got on the Time Mazines. "Need a lift?" He offered.

The Mega Men replied with a nod before boarding the Time Mazines, with Grey on Zi-O's bike and Ashe on Geiz's bike. After that, they drove off as the Mega Men gave them directions to the location of the Guardian Base.

Guardian Base

A few minutes later, they arrived at their destination as they saw a large magenta grounded airship with a gold winged statue at the front of the ship. "Here we are. The Grand Nuage; also known as the Guardian Base." Ashe announced to the group as they got off the Time Mazines. The group was in awe at the massive airship and the amount of Guardian troops patroling the area while escorting some of the troops back inside the base to recover.

"Wow. You guys have a lot of Guardians troops to form an army." Kanade commented.

"Well, not quite an army. But we do travel the world to help people out." Ashe stated.

"Should we power down our armours for now?" Grey asked.

"I think we'd better keep them on in case more Sumeragi troops show up." Zi-O replied.

"Good point."

"Hey, Grey! Ashe! Good to see ya back in one piece!" A large guardian soldier arrived to greet them before he noticed the newcomers. "And who are those with you?"

"Good to see ya too, Thon!" Ashe smiled back before gesturing to the newcomers. "These people helped us fend off the enemy and took out their commander."

"I see. Well, any friends of the Mega Men is a friend of the Guardians!" Thon grinned at the newcomers. "I'm Thon! Good to meet ya!"

"Good to meet ya too!" Kanade grinned back.

"Could you help us escort our hoverbikes to the loading bay? Maybe ask the engineers to do a few check-ups?" Geiz requested to Thon.

"Sure thing! I'll go call up the other Guardians to pick them up for ya." Thon accepted before he left to call some Guardian troops to transport the Time Mazines.

"Thanks, man. Go easy on the bikes!" Zi-O thanked Thon before turning to the Mega Men. "With that taken care of, care for you two to lead us to your commander?"

"Right this way." Grey replied before he and Ashe escorted the group inside the Guardian Base.

Guardian Base, Command Center

"And here is the Command Center." Ashe announced to the group and gestured her hand towards the Command Center after entering. The area has plenty of holo-screens, computers, three navigators, a large glass window, a commander's chair and a desk with a white cat plushie on top. And said commander is sitting on said chair at the moment while looking at the view in front. "Hey, Boss! We have some visitors who wanted to speak with you! And they seem to know what's going on!" Ashe called out to the commander.

"Hm?" The commander responded before turning the chair around and stood up to look at the visitors. The group was in complete shock as to who the commander is and what the person looks like. It was a 17 year old girl with blue eyes and long yellow hair. She's wearing a pink and light pink commander uniform on top of a black bodysuit. She's wearing a pink, white and black commander hat with a green gem on the center, and also wearing white and pink boots. "Are you the ones who assisted Grey, Ashe and the Guardians on repelling the unknown attackers?" The girl questioned the group.

"Yeah. We heard a loud explosion from a distance and went there to investigate." Copen answered.

"We've already took out most of the attacking troops, along with destroying their command mech." Gunvolt added.

"That's good to know. Thank you for your assistance." The girl thanked them with a bow. "My name is Prairie, leader of the Guardians."

"Wait... You're the commander?!" Kanade questioned in shock. "Aren't you a little... young for that job?"

"Hehe, yeah. I get that a lot. Especially Vent and Aile when they first met me a few years ago when I was the same age as them." Prairie replied with a smile, before noticing Serena. "Speaking of which, you're also young, and yet, you were brave enough to fight those attackers..."

"There are things I wanted to protect and care for, ma'am, despite being young." Serena smiled back.

"That's good to know. So what are your names?" Prairie asked the group.

"Zeo Naotora, Kamen Rider Zi-O."

"Gaius Cornell, Kamen Rider Geiz."

"Kanade Amou."

"Serena Cadenzavna Eve."

"Copen Kamizono."

"Gunvolt. And if you want, you can also call me GV."

"A pleasure to meet all of you." Prairie greeted them with a bow.

"Anyway, Grey and Ashe told us about Vent and Alie, both are also chosen Mega Men. Which Biometal chose them?" Gunvolt asked.

"They share a Biometal named, Model X." Prairie answered.

"Model... X..." Copen repeated, before asking Prairie a question. "So where are Vent and Aile right now?"

"Well, they were investigating a strange signal coming from an Underground Lab nearby this area." Prairie informed.

"A lab? Does it have a symbol?" Gunvolt asked.

"It looked like this." Prairie pushed a few buttons on her computer desk, revealing a holo-screen in front of the group and showing the image of the symbol. And said familiar symbol made Gunvolt and Copen frown.

"That explains the attack. This is definitely from the Sumeragi Group." Copen stated.

"The Sumeragi Group are enemies of our world. A corrupt organization. But I've already defeated their leader a long time ago." Gunvolt explained to Prairie.

"I see." Prairie understood, until she blinked for a moment when he mentioned his world. "Wait, your world?"

"Ah right, that weird quake that happened earlier?" Ashe pointed out to Prairie before gesturing to the group. "These guys called it a Dimension Quake. It sent all of us to GV's world."

"What?!" Prairie exclaimed in shock before turning to the group. "Is this true?!"

"Yup. Grey and Ashe told us how you and your entire team ended up here by that quake." Kanade confirmed.

"And unfortunately, we don't know how to help you find your way back to your world." Serena added.

"I see..." Prairie sadly replied, before shrugging off her sadness for a moment and went serious. "I know there's more things you wanted to explain to me, but that can wait until Vent and Aile comes back."

"Understood." The group nodded in understanding.

"Back on topic about Sumeragi, I'm still surprised that there's still remnants of them lurking around this area." Prairie remarked.

"My guess, something important must be hiding inside that lab." Zi-O pointed out.

"It's no wonder there were a bunch of Sumeragi troops attacking." Geiz added.

"Though why are Vent and Aile investigating that lab?" Kanade asked Prairie.

"They said that Model X sensed a familiar signal in that lab." Prairie answered.

"What kind of signal is it?" Serena asked.

"...It was a Biometal." Prairie revealed, shocking the group.

"A Biometal?! In Gunvolt's world?!" Zi-O exclaimed.

"That... could be bad. If Sumeragi finds that Biometal first, god knows what terrible things will happen...!" Copen frowned.

"Me and Ashe wanted to go along with Vent and Aile, but they wanted us to stay here and take care of the Guardian Base from unknown threats." Grey said.

"But hey, now that those Sumeragi troops are taken care of, we can go in after them, right?" Ashe stated.

"I'm sorry, but you both will still need to stay here in case more Sumeragi troops show up." Prairie told the Mega Men.

"Seriously?!" Ashe exclaimed.

"Prairie's got a point there, Ashe." Grey pointed out. "Most of the Guardians are injured after that attack. We'll have to stay here and help them while we wait for Vent and Aile to come back."

"But-"

"No, Ashe! We promised them to wait here!" Grey argued.

"Uh... maybe we can help you look for them." Zi-O offered, surprising the group. "What? We're still waiting for my sister's response, so I think we've got some spare time to do a little investigation."

"Your sister?" Prairie questioned.

"Yeah, Akira Naotora. She's also a freedom fighter. But she's busy dealing with another problem at another world." Zi-O answered.

"I see. Then I appreciate your help in looking for them." Prairie replied gratefully. "Honestly, they've been in there for quite a long time. I've even lost contact with them."

"Then something must be up that's making them take so long to come back." Gunvolt stated.

"If that's the case, then please look for them and bring them back safely." Prairie requested.

"You can count on us, ma'am!" Copen responded, with the others nodding and making Prairie smile.

"Again, thank you so much for your assistance." Prairie thanked them with a bow.

"Anytime, ma'am. We're just doing what we do best." Geiz replied.

"Though, could you do me a small favour?" Prairie asked.

"Sure thing. What's up?" Zi-O responded.

"I'll need two people from your group to stay here and assist Grey and Ashe on defending the Guardian Base." Prairie requested. "They may have the power of the Biometal, but even they have limits. And most of our Guardian troops are still recovering."

"Hmm..." Geiz pondered before turning to the group. "Anyone wanna stay here and help the Guardians?"

"I think I'll stay here and help out the Guardians." Kanade responded.

"I'll also stay here and help them." Serena also responded.

"Are you both sure about this?" Copen asked.

"Relax, we can take care of ourselves." Kanade assured with a small grin. "And besides, we've got Grey, Ashe, and the remaining Guardians to back us up."

"Don't worry about us, guys. We'll be just fine." Serena also assured with a smile.

"...Alright, I trust you two." Gunvolt nodded back before turning to Prairie. "Take care of them while we're gone, alright?"

"You have my word." Prairie nodded back. "The Underground Lab is located just west from our current location. It's not that far, so you can just travel there on foot. You should have an easier time since Vent and Aile might've taken out some of the Sumeragi guards hiding inside the lab. But still, be on your guard in case there's still some enemies they missed."

"Noted." Zi-O replied.

"We'd better investigate the lab as well, and find out what kind of experiments that Sumeragi is hiding." Copen added.

"And after we finish our investigation?" Gunvolt asked.

"We need to completely destroy the lab. Leave nothing behind so that the others won't find out about it." Copen answered.

"Good point."

"Then it's decided. Your mission is to head for the Sumeragi Underground Lab to investigate what kind of experiments they're plotting, locate Vent and Aile, and destroy the lab completely." Prairie summarized before swiping her hand forward. "Gunvolt, Copen, Kamen Riders, move out!"

"Aye aye, ma'am!" They responded with a salute before leaving the command center to begin their mission.

"Good luck, you guys!" Kanade wished them luck as they left.

"Come back safely!" Serena added.

"Now then. While we await their return, would you like to explain to me about the Dimension Quakes?" Prairie requested the Symphogears.

Kanade and Serena looked at each other for a moment. After a bit of pondering, they nodded at each other before turning back to Prairie. "Actually, we're going to tell you more than just the Dimension Quakes." Kanade answered.

"We're also going to explain our roles as dimensional travelers." Serena added. "Besides, me and Kanade are also from Earth, but from another world."

"What?!" Prairie and the Mega Men exclaimed in shock.

"Yeah, you'd be surprised at how big the multiverse really is." Kanade commented.

"Is there a place where we can talk privately?" Serena asked Prairie. "Grey and Ashe can also come with us to hear our explanation."

"Sure." Prairie nodded. "We can come to my room to talk privately."

"Just don't mind the large amount of plushies she has on her room." Ashe commented to the Symphogears while hiding a small chuckle.

"...Hai?" They responded in confusion.

"...You'll see what we mean." Grey sighed as they head for Prairie's room to begin their private talk.

Sumeragi Underground Lab

After a few minutes of traveling west on foot, they arrived at the entrance of the Underground Lab with a small Sumeragi logo right next to it. "Well, this is the place." Zi-O said to the group.

"I wonder why QUILL didn't know about this place before." Gunvolt pondered.

"Neither did Nori." Copen added.

"Well, standing around here won't solve anything. Let's move." Geiz declared as they entered the lab entrance.

And what they saw inside is just what Prairie predicted. Multiple Sumeragi guards and mechs were already taken out, with some of them already in pieces and some leaving large holes behind. "Wow. For an underground lab, there sure are a lot of Sumeragi troops guarding the place. And those two Mega Men easily dealt with them." Lola remarked.

"Vent and Aile... those two are very skilled at handling their foes." Joule added.

"I wonder how powerful those Biometals are?" Copen pondered.

"Very powerful. But that doesn't mean they're invincible." Zi-O stated. "It depends on its user and how they will learn to use said power. Remember, great power means greater responsibility."

"And from the looks of it, Vent and Aile definitely knew how to use it." Geiz added.

"Hey, you think it would be a great idea for the Mega Men and the Guardians to join our fight against the Neo Time Jackers?" Lola suggested.

"Hmm... we'll have to ask Prairie when we get back." Zi-O answered.

"Well I think they should join us." Gunvolt said. "I mean they are stranded in our world. And finding a way back to their world would be difficult. They should also come with us to the Symphogear world and maybe help solve the mystery about Gjallarhorn."

"I agree with Gunvolt." Copen agreed. "Plus, I don't want any enemies of our world to get their hands on those Biometals."

"Yeah, that would be a lot worse than Sumeragi and Eden combined." Geiz replied, before shuddering in thought at what bad things will happen if the Biometals were in the wrong hands.

"Lola, can you scan the layout of the entire lab for us? A map would be useful right now." Joule requested.

"Good idea, Joule! Gimme a moment to come out first!" Lola replied before appearing in front of the group in her Idol Form. She moved her hand forward and materialized a holo-screen and a holo-keyboard. She began typing for a few moments until a layout of the underground lab appeared on the holo-screen. "There we go! One map of the entire lab ready for use!" Lola said while dusting off her hands.

"Nice going, Lola." Copen praised her with a smile before they examine the layout of the lab. "Hmm... looks like there's three basement floors on this lab. And right now we're on the first floor." He said while pointing their current location on the map.

"Ah, that's where Vent and Aile are." Zi-O pointed at the two yellow dots on basement three of the lab.

"But then... who are those dots belong to?" Gunvolt pointed one dot at basement two and several dots on basement one.

"Unknown civilians maybe?" Geiz guessed.

"So Sumeragi's kidnapping civilians now?!" Copen frowned. "Even after Nova's defeat, they're still doing crimes like this...!"

"I guess that means we'll have to rescue some civilians as well." Joule stated.

"I can download the map data onto your Zikan Phones if you want." Lola suggested.

"Download on mine, Lola." Copen replied.

"You got it, Boss!" Lola replied back before typing a few buttons on the holo-keyboard. Soon after, the map data is downloaded onto Copen's Zikan Phone. "Alright, that should do it!"

"Thanks for the help. You can relax back inside my Relic." Copen said to Lola.

"Anytime, Boss!" Lola replied with a salute before dispersing the holo-screen and keyboard, and disappearing back inside Copen's Relic Pendant.

"Alright, let's go and explore one basement at a time." Zi-O declared, earning a nod from the group before they continue to explore the first floor of the lab, which was littered with destroyed Sumeragi mech parts. Soon after, they found a staircase leading towards basements one, two and three.

Sumeragi Underground Lab, Basement One

They decided to explore basement one first and explored the lab hallways until they noticed a door with an electronic lock beside it. "Huh, an electronic lock." Zi-O commented.

"Anybody else good with hacking skills besides Lola?" Geiz asked the group.

"Do I have to come out again to hack the lock?" Lola spoke.

"Actually, I'll try my way." Gunvolt answered as he went in front of the lock and placed his hand over it. He then surged the lock with his electricity until the door opened up. "There we go." He finished after stopping his electricity and lowered his hand.

"Ah, I remember seeing a trick like that on some TV shows." Geiz remarked.

"When we get back to the Zi-O Liner, there's a game I wanted you to try out for some ideas on your electric powers." Zi-O told Gunvolt.

"Really?"

"Trust me, you'll love it." Zi-O assured Gunvolt as they entered the room. And what they saw inside the room, made their eyes widen in shock.

There were three small children in the lab room wearing grey shirts, grey pants, and while shoes. There was also a young woman with orange eyes and orange hair, tied into a ponytail, with long bangs and forelocks. She wears a sleeveless yellow jacket with a white stripe through the middle, and buckles coming down from her collar. She has pieces of yellow cloth on each of her forearms, and wears black fingerless gloves with a hole showing the back of each respective hand. She wears black underclothes with two fanny packs on the front and back of her body acting as a sort of skirt. On her legs, she wears white thigh-highs with black rims, and dark blue boots with silver highlights.

Gunvolt, Copen and the Kamen Riders were speechless at what they saw. Why is there a young girl and several children doing in an underground lab? "Umm... excuse me?" Zi-O spoke to them, gaining their attention and startling them. "Hey, hold on a minute! We're not here to harm you!" He assured them while raising his hands in defence.

"A-Are you people with Sumeragi...?" The young girl asked the arrivals with caution.

"No, we are not. But again, we're not here to harm you and the children." Copen answered. "We're only here to ask you a few questions, that's all."

The girl was a bit cautious, but decided to listen to them first before judging them. "Alright, I'll listen. My name is Kohaku, by the way." She introduced herself.

"Okay, Kohaku. Could you tell us why you and the children are doing here in the underground lab?" Gunvolt asked.

"...It's because of my sister." Kohaku explained. "A month ago, me, my sister, and these orphaned children were escaping from an Eden attack force. Unfortunately, my sister was gravely wounded after fighting off some of the Eden troops while the rest of us were hiding in sight. Luckily, a group of Sumeragi troops managed to fend off the Eden troops and saved us."

Gunvolt, Copen and the Kamen Riders were shocked that Sumeragi was able to protect these people from Eden. When they think of Sumeragi, there were nothing but an evil corporation. But, it seems that there's some people of Sumeragi that would rather protect innocent people instead.

"Huh, well thank goodness that you and the kids are alright." Geiz said to Kohaku.

"I'm very glad they managed to save us." Kohaku replied, until she became sad. "Unfortunately, my sister is not doing so well."

"You did mention that your sister is gravely wounded. How bad is it?" Gunvolt asked.

"She was in critical condition." Kohaku answered. "She was barely on the brink of death. The Sumeragi medical team did the best they could to save my sister's life. But then one Sumeragi scientist had an idea to help save my sister from dying."

"Did that scientist have a name?" Zi-O asked.

"I never did get his name. But he's willing to do everything he can to save my sister." Kohaku replied. "But in order to do that, we need to work with Sumeragi as scientists for an unknown project."

"An unknown project?" Copen responded.

"He never did reveal to us on what that project is." Kohaku continued. "And we've been working here for a month now. But he and his assistants did provide us with food, water and shelter. And he said that my sister is in good hands and in stable condition. Though I don't know how long will it take for me to meet my sister again."

"Did that scientist tell you where your sister is?" Gunvolt questioned.

"He said that my sister is on another lab at basement two." Kohaku answered. "But we're not allowed to see her until the project is completed."

"I see. In that case, it's time for all of you to get out of here. Your sister included." Copen declared, shocking Kohaku's group.

"Huh?! But what about Eden?" Kohaku questioned.

"You don't have to worry about Eden anymore." Zi-O assured. "We've already destroyed their main HQ and defeated their leader. Without their leader and their main base, Eden is finished."

Kohaku can't help but smile at the good news these strangers explained. She turned to the kids and said with a hopeful smile, "DId you hear that? Eden is finally gone! We can finally leave in peace!"

"Wow, really? Then that means you guys are super strong!" The boy named Kyota remarked to them with excitement. Kyota has short, light brown hair and blue eyes, along with a white bandage on his left cheek.

"I wonder how you four managed to defeat Eden? I'm a little curious about it." Another boy named Jin remarked with curiosity. Jin has short and spiky black hair, blue eyes and wearing glasses.

"Are you really sure that you four managed to defeat Eden? That sounds impossible." A girl named Maria questioned. She has blue eyes and blonde hair that's tied up in two buns tied with yellow ribbons, straight bangs, and two short and curly forelocks coming down from her face. She's also holding a mouse plushie that has its left eye closed, a single tooth, and wears overalls.

"Then I'd suggest that you watch the recent news first and see that we're not lying about Eden's defeat." Copen suggested to Maria.

"Now now, Maria. Be nice to the people who defeated Eden and granted our freedom." Kohaku told her.

"Fine... I'll at least give them some gratitude for now." Maria reluctantly replied. "But where will we go now? Our home is destroyed, thanks to Eden."

"Oh, sorry to hear about your loss." Geiz said.

"It's alright. We'll see if we can find a new home for us to live in peace." Kohaku assured.

Zi-O began to ponder on what to do with these civilians. Looking for a new home will be difficult in a world like this. But then he thought about the Guardians and how they help each other. When he took a quick look at Kohaku and the children, he saw some hidden potential within them. Their skills might be useful to create a better future. With that in mind, Zi-O made a suggestion to them. "Actually, how about all of you come and live with the Guardians?" His suggestion shocked everyone in the room.

"A-Are you sure? And who are the Guardians? Do you work for them?" Kohaku questioned.

"First off: Yes, I'm sure. Second: The Guardians are a peacekeeping force that protects innocent people, including towns and cities. And third: Well yeah, we kinda work for them." Zi-O answered.

"You really sure about this, Zi-O?" Geiz questioned.

"I'm sure Prairie will understand. Plus, their skills might be useful someday, and they could use a new home." Zi-O assured. "I'll go and contact her first, just in case."

"You do that. Hope you know what you're doing." Gunvolt replied.

"So, what do you say, Kohaku? Care to join the Guardians as your new home?" Zi-O asked.

"Are you really sure that they'll take care of us?" Kohaku asked back.

"You have my word. Commander Prairie is a very kind person and will definitely take care of all of you." Zi-O assured.

Kohaku turned to the children and asked, "Well, what do you say, kids? Shall we go and join the Guardians as our new home?"

"Does this mean that I'll get to become as strong as you four?" Kyota asked.

"As long as you listen to them carefully, you might get that chance." Gunvolt assured with a smile.

"Great! Then I'm in! The name's Kyota, by the way!" He introduced himself with excitement.

"I wonder what kind of technology the Guardians possess?" Jin questioned.

"Well the Guardians has some scientists and engineers on board. Maybe you might learn something new if you kindly ask them." Geiz answered.

"Then I'll join the Guardians and do just that." He replied back. "I'm Jin, nice to meet you."

"Okay fine... I guess I'll join the Guardians too." Maria sighed in defeat after seeing Kyota's excitement and Jin's curiosity. "My name is Maria, and they'd better take good care of me, or else!"

"Just listen to their instructions and you'll be fine. Also, please learn to behave yourself." Copen told Maria.

"Hmph!" Maria looked away.

"Oh great, another tsundere. And it HAD to be a young girl, huh?" Zi-O mentally groaned, knowing how tricky it is to deal with very young tsunderes. Especially females.

"Well, it looks like all of us are joining the Guardians after all." Kohaku declared with a smile.

"Welcome aboard." Zi-O smiled back before giving Kohaku a handshake. "My name is Zeo Naotora, but call me Kamen Rider Zi-O when I'm in this form."

"I'm Gaius Cornell; Kamen Rider Geiz."

"I'm Gunvolt, but feel free to call me GV if you like."

"And I'm Copen Kamizono."

"A pleasure to meet all of you." Kohaku greeted back with a bow. "Let me go with you so that I can see my sister again. But we need to escort the kids safely first."

"Alright then, let me go and call Prairie first." Zi-O nodded as he took out his Zikan Phone and began to video call Kanade, since Prairie doesn't have her own Zikan Phone yet. Soon after, the video call revealed Kanade in her casual wear. "Yo, Kanade! It's me, Zi-O. We've found some innocent civilians hiding in the Underground Lab." He informed her.

"Seriously?! I thought it was just Vent and Aile hiding there!" Kanade exclaimed in shock.

"Yeah, we were surprised too when we found out about this." Geiz replied. "Could you call Prairie here for a moment? I need to request a transfer back to Guardian HQ."

"I'll go get her. One sec." Kanade responded before she left to find Prairie. Soon after, Prairie showed up on the video call.

"This is Prairie. What's your status?" Prairie contacted.

"We've found some innocent civilians hiding in the Underground Lab. We're requesting a transfer back to Guardian HQ." Geiz reported while Zi-O moved the Zikan Phone so that Prairie can see the civilians. "See those kids here? They need immediate extract, but the one with the orange hair wanted to come along with us. She's looking for her sister which is located on Basement Two."

"My goodness... I'll take good care of them. I promise." Prairie replied.

"Thank you, Prairie. My name is Kohaku, by the way." Kohaku greeted with gratitude.

"A pleasure to meet you, Kohaku. Alright, I've already contacted the operators to begin the Transerver process for the three children. It should be done in a few seconds." Prairie informed.

"Good to know. And by the way, still no sign of Vent and Aile. But they might be located at Basement Three." Gunvolt reported.

"Understood. After you locate Kohaku's sister, head for Basement Three to look for them." Prairie stated.

"Roger that, ma'am. Over and out." Zi-O replied before ending the call and putting away the phone.

"Alright, you three. Remember to be nice and behave properly with the Guardians, okay?" Kohaku advised the kids, earning a nod from them. And soon after, the kids were teleported back to Guardian HQ in a flash of green light. After that, Kohaku went to a nearby locker and grabbed her backpack that contained some food, water and medicine. "Okay, let's go get my sister back." She declared before everyone left the room and back to the staircase as they descended to Basement Two.

Sumeragi Underground Lab, Basement Two

When they arrived at Basement Two, they were shocked to find out that Sumeragi guards are already taken out, but in a different way. There were slash marks all over their bodies, along with fallen corpses, mechs, and even the walls and floors. "My goodness... what happened here...?!" Kohaku muttered in horror.

"Okay, there's no way in hell that Vent and Aile would do this much carnage." Zi-O remarked with a frown.

"Wait, you mean the two Mega Men didn't do this?" Copen questioned.

Geiz shook his head in response. "I don't think they would do something like this. This is more of an unstoppable rage."

"If it's not them... then who...?" Gunvolt pondered.

"So, Vent and Aile are with the Guardians, right?" Kohaku asked the group, earning a nod from them. "Were you looking for them?"

"Ah right, we forgot to tell you why we're here. They were looking for a familiar signal located in this underground lab." Zi-O answered cautiously. "Prairie lost contact with them, so they sent us here to investigate."

"I see, so that explains why you're here in the first place." Kohaku replied.

"Well, let's go check out that lab over there before moving on." Geiz declared as they saw another lab room across the hallway.

Once they arrived at the entrance, it was locked with another electronic lock. "Gimme a sec." Gunvolt stepped forward and did the same process as the other lock on Basement One. After a while, the door opened, allowing the group to go inside the room.

Inside, there were several computers and machines, but the most notable one is a large capsule at the center of the room, filled with transparent liquid. And inside said capsule is a woman with long blonde hair that's tied into a ponytail and a pair of pigtails, and wearing a black bodysuit. Plus, she's also wearing an oxygen mask that's attached to the top of the capsule. Everyone gasped as to who was inside that capsule, especially Kohaku. "Sis!" Kohaku yelled as she approached the capsule.

"Wait, don't touch the capsule!" Geiz yelled to Kohaku with his hand raised, stopping her movements before she touched the capsule. "We don't wanna trip any alarms."

"Oh... sorry." Kohaku apologized before lowering her hand.

"So, this is your sister, huh? Does she have a name?" Gunvolt asked Kohaku while they stared at the capsule.

"That's my sister alright." Kohaku confirmed with a nod. "Her name is Reiko. But I sometimes call her Rei, or sis."

"Reiko, huh? That's a nice name." Zi-O remarked.

"Let's search the area for a way to disable the alarm, and to look for any information on their unknown project." Copen advised the group, earning a nod from them in response.

"One more thing." Geiz asked Kohaku while offering his X-Baton Blaster Mode. "You'll need this to protect yourself."

"Oh, thanks Geiz." Kohaku replied as she took the weapon from him.

"Lola, come on out. Time to do some hacking." Copen contacted Lola.

"Joule, come out too. Time for some help." Gunvolt contacted Joule.

"Understood, GV!" Joule replied.

"Roger that, Boss!" Lola also replied.

Soon after, the two idols appeared beside Gunvolt and Copen, which also surprised Kohaku.

"Who... are you two?" Kohaku asked the idols.

"I'm Joule, Gunvolt's patner. A pleasure to meet you." Joule greeted with a smile and a bow.

"And I'm Lola, Copen's partner. Nice to meet you, Kohaku!" Lola also greeted with a smile.

"Oh, nice to meet you both." Kohaku greeted back with a bow. "You both look beautiful, by the way."

"Hehe, you're welcome!" Joule smiled back.

"Aww... thanks for the compliment!" Lola also smiled back.

"Alright team, split up and search for a way to disable the alarm." Zi-O ordered the group.

"Roger!" The group responded as they split up and search the lab.

During the search, Zi-O found a transparent capsule that contained some kind of battlesuit. It was a black and blue cloak with blue-highlighted shoulder pads and a large armoured collar. Blue metal gloves with sharp fingertips, a pair of white armoured boots, each with a spike on the foot and two near the kneecap, and lastly a white helmet with two horns and a blue diamond-shaped crystal in between, as well as a visor with two glowing blue eyes. "Wow, that looked like a pretty badass battlesuit." Zi-O commented before turning to the computer in front of the capsule. "Let's see what I can find here..." He began to type onto the computer to search for any info, until he found something interesting. The name of the unknown project. "Project: Blade... So that's the name of Sumeragi's unknown project. Are they trying to create their own super soldier?" He remarked before resuming his data search, until he found some data about the helmet. "A Berserk Trigger program on the helmet? Oh this screams Berserk Mode that cannot be controlled, not to mention a small hint of mind-control." He frowned while resuming his data search until he found a password screen for the alarm. "Ah, so even this armour has an alarm too. I'd better wait for the others to finish up first."

Meanwhile with Geiz's search, he found another capsule, but it contained six scabbards and a segregated sword. He can't help but whistle at an impressive weapon. "Gotta hand it to Sumeragi, they know how to make impressive weaponry." He commented before turning to a computer in front of the capsule and begin his data search. He found the name of the unknown project, along with the weapon description of the sword. "A High Frequency Blade?! That's something straight out of Metal Gear! How did they manage to make that?!" He muttered in shock before he continued to read the description. "What else... it's also a whip sword that can launch sword fragments towards the enemy, kinda like throwing daggers. Damn. Raiden's gonna be jealous." His data search eventually reached a password screen for the alarm. "Tch, guess this weapon and the scabbards even have an alarm too. Would be nice to take them away from Sumeragi. Guess I'll wait for the others to finish."

As for Gunvolt and Joule's search, they found another nearby working computer. Gunvolt began his data search on the computer, and what he discovered besides the project name, made him and Joule's eyes widen in shock. "No gacking way... The Azure Striker Septima?! That's mine! But, how did they managed to get that DNA?!" He exclaimed.

"Hmm... I can think of two reasons, GV." Joule pondered.

"And what are those reasons?" Gunvolt asked.

"One reason is because of your hair." Joule answered. "Remember when you told me that you used your hair as ammuniton for your Dart Leader? Somehow, someone from Sumeragi was able to extract your bullets from your fallen enemies while we're not looking."

"...Okay, that makes sense considering my hair counts as DNA." Gunvolt replied. "And the second reason?"

"...Azimov's corpse."

"What?!" Gunvolt exclaimed at Joule's other reason. "That can't be true! If I remember what Copen told me, he last saw Azimov's dead corpse while he came to take back his gun! Unless..."

"Someone else must've taken his corpse while no one is looking." Joule guessed. "I just hope it's not Azimov's DNA they used for this project."

"Let's keep reading the data before we assume things first." Gunvolt said, earning a nod from Joule. When he continued to search the data, he found out the DNA stated that it came from an Adept with blonde hair, which made him breathe a sigh of relief that it's NOT from Azimov since he had grey-blue hair. "Well thank gacking god for that... Still pissed that they used my DNA for the project though." He frowned.

"When we're done here, we need to destroy this lab before someone else finds out about this." Joule stated.

"Agreed."

As for Copen and Lola's search, they didn't find a single working computer that had any data for the project. "Any luck, Lola?" Copen asked.

"Nope. No luck so far, Boss." Lola shook her head.

"Keep looking. We're bound to find something eventually." Copen replied.

"Umm... Copen? Lola? I found something." Kohaku called out, earning their attention and approached her, looking at a working computer.

"What did you find, Kohaku?" Copen asked.

"The name of the project, and what they were doing to my sister." Kohaku replied as they looked at the data she found. One was the name of the project called, Project: Blade. The other was a video footage of the experiment.

"You didn't look at the footage yet, right?" Lola asked Kohaku, who shook her head in response. "You might wanna look away if this gets too intense."

"No. I have to see this. I need to find out what Sumeragi is doing with my sister." Kohaku stated and determined to see the video.

"Alright. Playing the video now." Copen began to play the video on the computer.

The video footage showed Reiko in her battlesuit and helmet, along with her sword equipped. She was in a Sumeragi testing area. The scientists sent several drones to attack Reiko as they began to unload every single weapon at her. With her blade ready, she quickly rushed towards her targets in blinding speeds, dodging the weapons, and attacked them, one lightning slash at a time. After her attack, she slowly sheathed her sword. And soon after, the drones were immediately cut in half. The scientists were very impressed at Reiko's performance.

"Hmm... what remarkable results. But let's take it a step further. Send in the Mantis!" The lead scientist said. And soon after, the Mantis Sumeragi mech arrived to attack Reiko with its weapons ready. "Now let's test out the Berserk Trigger system."

"Wait, now?! But we haven't even begun testing it properly yet!" The assistant said with caution.

"I don't care! Just do it! I need to see her true potential!"

"...As you wish. Activate the Berserk Trigger!"

The scientists began to activate the Berserk Trigger system remotely. Soon after, Reiko began to surge with large amounts of electrical Septima energy. Mantis began to fire all of its weapons onto Reiko. But she quickly dodged the attacks in a speed of lightning while slicing off all of its weapons, except the mouth laser. She appeared in front of the mech, raised her energized sword up high, and unleashed a destructive vertical slash wave that tore through the mech in half, and even slashed through a portion of the testing area, leaving a large slash mark on it. The mech was destroying in an explosion, but then something happened to Reiko. She began to scream and howl in an uncontrollable rage and started to unleashed multiple destructive shock waves around the testing area, forcing some of the scientist to run away in fear.

"Remarkable! Simply remarkable!" The lead scientist remarked with glee.

"Sir, we need to shut down the Berserk Trigger immediately!" The assistant said.

"No! I need to see more of her power!"

"But sir, we-look out!"

"Eh?" Unfortunately, the lead scientist was immediately obliterated into dust from Reiko's rampaging ground shockwave.

"Hurry! Shut down the Berserk Trigger system now!" The assistant demanded, prompting some of the remaining scientists to disable the system. And thankfully, they managed to shut it down, causing Reiko to stop and pant in exhaustion before passing out. With the danger averted, the assistant cautiously approached the unconscious Reiko before giving a sigh. "I knew adding a Berserk System was a terrible idea... and now look what happened." He looked around the test area that's heavily damaged Reiko's berserk state caused, along with the lead scientist's charred corpse. "Get me a medical team to receive treatment for the test subject." He ordered some scientists to call in a medical team to help Reiko.

After that, the video footage ended, leaving a very shocked and fearful expression from the three, especially Kohaku. This was Project: Blade, and Copen was not very happy about what Sumeragi did with Kohaku's sister. They turned her into a powerful weapon. "Well... holy shit." Lola commented after seeing the video.

"Damn you, Sumeragi... Even after Nova's death, you still experimented on something like this...?!" Copen muttered.

"Wha... What did they do to my sister...?!" Kohaku remarked with fear.

"They turned her into a killing machine, that's what." Lola answered before turning to Copen. "And not only that, the Septima she used looked very familiar, huh Boss?"

"There's no doubt about it... That's the Azure Striker Septima...! But how did they manage to obtain it?" Copen questioned.

"Because they used strands of my hair as DNA, and implemented them onto Reiko." Gunvolt answered as he and Joule approached them in a grim tone. "I found out about that info from one of the computers."

"Someone from Sumeragi must've ordered some troops to extract the Dart Leader's ammunition from destroyed Sumeragi remains while we're not looking. And said ammunition was made from GV's hair." Joule added.

"Oh... So that's how you tag your targets before electrocuting them." Lola realized, earning a nod from Gunvolt.

"Wait a minute. Does that mean you're an Adept since the Azure Striker Septima is yours?" Kohaku questioned Gunvolt.

"I am. But I'm using these powers to protect innocent people, not kill them." Gunvolt answered.

"Oh... I'm glad to hear that. It's kinda rare to meet a friendly Adept you can trust." Kohaku replied with a smile. "Maybe there is hope for both humans and Adepts to co-exist with each other in peace.

"I'm sure that dream will happen someday, Kohaku." Joule smiled back.

"Anyway Gunvolt, Reiko now has your DNA. What now?" Copen asked.

"Simple. After we rescue Reiko, Vent and Aile, we destroy this entire lab completely, so no one else will suffer the same fate." Gunvolt answered, earning a nod from Copen.

"I'm just glad the kids weren't here to see this footage. It would scar them for life." Kohaku said.

"Yeah, thank goodness for that." Joule agreed before turning to Lola. "So, any luck on how to shut off the alarm?"

"Just a sec." Lola began to type a few keys, until she found the password screen for Reiko's capsule alarm. "Ah, there we go. Now let me try a little hacking." She materialized the holo-screen and keyboard on her left before typing some keys to begin her hacking. And after a few moments, she found the correct password for the capsule alarm. She then used the password on the computer and hit 'Enter'.

"And that's how it's done!" Lola grinned while dusting off her hands and dispersed the holo-screen and keyboard. "You guys better go get Reiko outta there."

They responded to Lola with a nod before they head for Reiko's capsule. But before Lola could join them after she turned off the computer, Zi-O and Geiz approached her. "Oh, hey guys! I've just finished up disabling the alarm for Reiko's capsule. She'll be free in no time!" She informed with a smile.

"Good going, Lola." Zi-O replied while giving her a thumbs up. "Now could you help me with the password for that badass looking armour that Sumeragi made? I'm planning on keeping it away from them."

"And when your done with that, help me with the password for that awesome sword and its scabbards. We're taking those too." Geiz requested to Lola.

"Hehe, no problem, boys! It'll be nice to steal these toys away from Sumeragi!" Lola replied to them with a grin before they head for the armour capsule to hack and disable the alarm.

Meanwhile, Gunvolt, Joule, Copen and Kohaku arrived back at Reiko's capsule as they saw the liquid being drained. After that, the capsule opened up and detached the oxygen mask, making Reiko fall off, but Kohaku was able to catch her and put her gently on the floor. "Rei? Sis? Wake up! It's me, Kohaku!" She said while moving her sister's body gently for a response.

A few moments later, they heard a response from Reiko as she silently groaned and slowly opened her light blue eyes. "Uhh... H-Huh...?" Reiko spoke before she turned to her sister. "K-Kohaku...? I-Is that you...?"

Kohaku nodded while shedding her tears. "Rei...! Thank goodness you're alright...!" She cried as she hugged her dear sister.

"Kohaku..." Reiko said, before smiling and hugging back while shedding a few tears. "I'm glad you're alright too. Sorry for making you worry for so long."

"It's alright. I'm just glad you're still okay." Kohaku replied as she let go of the hug and slowly helped Reiko stand up.

"How are the kids? Are they still okay?" Reiko asked.

"All three of them are alright." Kohaku answered before gesturing to the others. "These people from the Guardians saved them, me included."

"The kids are at Guardian HQ, an airship. They're in good hands, Reiko." Gunvolt informed Reiko.

"I see, thanks for saving them and my sister." Reiko replied with a bow. "What are your names?"

"Just call me Gunvolt, or GV for short."

"I'm Joule, glad you're alright."

"Copen Kamizono, a pleasure."

"Anyway, sis... we saw the video footage about what Sumeragi did to you. About Project: Blade." Kohaku told Reiko.

"Oh..." Reiko responded before frowning. "I guess that means you saw Sumeragi's true colors."

"Not to mention that those gacking bastards stole my DNA and implemented it into your body." Gunvolt added.

"Wait, that Septima is yours?!" Reiko gasped. "Then that means you're a...!"

"Yeah. I'm an Adept." Gunvolt confirmed with a nod. "But I'm an Adept who'd rather protect innocent people instead of destroying everything."

"I see. It's good to meet a friendly Adept for once." Reiko smiled.

"Anyway, since you have Gunvolt's Septima, what are you gonna do with it?" Copen asked Reiko.

Reiko took a moment to look at her hands as she briefly surged her arms with electricity for a moment. "Simple, I'm taking this project of theirs and use it against them. No one uses me as a test subject and gets away with it." She declared.

"Though from the footage we saw, the lead scientist was already obliterated while you were in a berserk state." Kohaku pointed out. "Now that I think about it... that lead scientist was the same one we met one month ago."

"I guess Sumeragi is nothing but devils in sheep's clothing." Copen commented.

"At least I had my revenge, even if it is unintentional." Reiko said. "Anyway, what are you all planning to do now?"

"We need to look for our Guardian allies, Vent and Aile. They were investigating this lab to look for something." Joule answered.

"After we find them, we're destroying this lab completely." Gunvolt added.

"If you're planning to do that, I remember some scientists talking about a main core of the lab. If we can set that core to overload, it will completely decimate the entire lab. But we need to escape quickly before we're caught in the blast radius." Reiko stated.

"And where is the core located?" Copen asked.

"It should be at Basement Three."

"That's the same area where Vent and Aile are in!" Joule realized in shock.

"Then we'd better move quickly." Gunvolt declared.

"Kohaku, you'd better get out of here first before things get intense." Reiko told her.

Kohaku shook her head in response, surprising the group. "No, I'll be with you till the end. I can't just sit back and watch. I have to do something about this!"

Reiko was a bit worried for her sister's safety, but sighed and decided to respect her decision. "Alright, you can come with us. But remember to stay close with us, okay?"

"I promise."

"Hey guys! Sorry we're late!" Lola greeted them with Zi-O and Geiz beside them, holding the battlesuit and weapons.

"Where have you been all this time?" Copen questioned.

"Sorry, Copen. But we needed her help to disable the alarms for the battlesuit and weapons from Project: Blade." Zi-O answered.

"No way in hell we're letting Sumeragi keep these. Plus, it's better to give these to someone else who knows how to use them to protect innocent people. It would be a waste to destroy something so useful." Geiz added.

"Oh and by the way, I've destroyed the helmet that contained the Berserk Trigger system. Having a berserk state is never a good idea." Zi-O also added.

"Glad you got rid of that, thanks Zi-O." Kohaku thanked them before turning to her sister. "Rei, these are our other Guardian allies; Zi-O, Geiz and Lola."

"Good to meet you three." Reiko greeted them with a nod. "Actually, could you give the battlesuit and weapons to me instead? Since you've destroyed the Berserk Trigger system, I should be able to use them safely."

"Hmm... using Sumeragi's own arsenal against them, huh? Alright, I can agree to that." Geiz replied as he and Zi-O gave the battlesuit and weapons to Reiko.

"Thank you, Geiz." Reiko replied back.

"Right then, could you boys wait outside while we help Reiko suit up?" Joule requested.

"...Eh?" The boys responded.

"Well, duh! We don't want you guys to think that you're perverts or anything!" Lola stated.

"...O-Oh! Right, sorry!" The Kamen Riders responded before they drag Gunvolt and Copen out of the lab.

"H-Hey! You don't have to drag us! We can walk, you know!" Gunvolt retorted to the Kamen Riders.

Soon after, the boys were outside of the lab and closed the door behind them to let the girls have their privacy. "Sorry for dragging you both out like that. Like Lola said, we don't want to become perverts." Geiz apologized to Gunvolt and Copen.

"Again, warn us first." Copen replied, with Gunvolt nodding. "You both looked like you've been through that situation before."

"Gaius, no. Me, only once. And it sucked. And before you say anything, I wasn't paying attention." Zi-O answered.

"What happened?" Gunvolt asked.

"Back in my world when me and Akira are living with Gaius, we were planning to go for a nice walk at the park one day." Zi-O explained. "We're waiting for Akira to finish changing her clothes. I wanted to check her room and see what's taking her so long, but Gaius insisted that I wait for her a while longer."

"He didn't listen and went to check on Akira anyway." Gaius added. "And guess what happened to him?"

"Akira was still in her undergarments when Zeo went inside her room and he got a slap in the face?" Copen guessed.

"Worse; She slugged me in the face with her bag." Zi-O answered. "And it had a laptop inside."

"Ooooh..." Gunvolt and Copen winced at Zeo's painful memory. Laptops are known to be a bit hard and heavy. And getting hit in the face with a laptop can be very painful.

"Don't worry though, he already apologized to her sister, if he promised never to do that again and remember to wait first." Geiz pointed out.

"Now you know that us guys must ALWAYS respect women's privacy." Zi-O stated.

"Even the younger ones?" Copen questioned.

"Them too. And don't get me started on the older ones."

"Noted." Gunvolt and Copen understood Zi-O's warning with a nod.

"Okay! Reiko's finished changing now! Could you guys step back for a moment please?" Kohaku informed from the other side of the door.

"Got it!" The guys responded as they took a few steps away from the door before it opened up. Joule, Lola and Kohaku got out of the room first before they step away from the door, allowing Reiko to exit the room, now donning the battlesuit, with the scabbards on her hips, and one segregated sword that's sheathed on her left hip. Her blonde hair is also tied to a ponytail and a pair of pigtails. The guys were impressed at Reiko's new look and attire.

"Wow, you look like a badass samurai, with lightning powers." Zi-O remarked to Reiko.

"Thanks, Zi-O." Reiko smiled back while looking at herself for a moment. "And I promise to use these powers to protect the ones I care for."

"Hope you know how to use my Septima properly. I can teach you some of my skills if you want." Gunvolt offered to Reiko.

"That's alright. I'll use my own skills instead. I can think of a few good ones after reading some of Kyota's manga." Reiko replied with a smirk.

"Is that so? Then I'll look forward to seeing those skills of yours in action." Gunvolt smirked back.

"Right then. Joule, Lola, back into the pendants for now." Zi-O advised the idols.

"Got it." They nodded before they disappeared back into their respective Relic pendants.

"We promise to explain everything later. But right now, the mission comes first." Geiz told Kohaku and Reiko, earning a nod from them.

"Okay, let's go!" Zi-O declared as they head back to the staircase and descended towards Basement Three of the underground lab.

Sumeragi Underground Lab, Basement Three

"The room of the power core should be at the end of this hallway." Reiko stated as the group sprinted across the hallway.

"Though I have to wonder; what were Vent and Aile doing at that room anyway?" Zi-O questioned.

"Maybe they might've found what they were looking for?" Gunvolt guessed.

"Guess we'll find out for ourselves when we enter that room." Geiz answered.

"Remember to stay close to us, okay Kohaku?" Copen cautioned.

"I understand. I won't get in your way either unless you ask me to do something." Kohaku nodded.

"Good."

"There's the door to the power core room!" Reiko said as they noticed said door at the end of the hallway.

"Alright team, let's move!" Zi-O declared as they reached the door, quickly opened it up, and entered the room. And what they saw inside, made the group gasp in shock. "What... the... frick...?!" Zi-O exclaimed.

Inside the power core room, were a pair of 18 year olds panting due to exhaustion from fighting against a creature with a menacing red aura in front of them. The two people had matching green eyes and were wearing the same blue armour with gold highlights on their arms and feet. Their blue helmet had a white trim and a red crystal on the center. They are also equipped with an arm cannon on their right arm.

As for the creature in front of them, it was a floating humanoid with glowing red eyes, black textured skin and had armour-like plating on the arms, chest, face, shoulders and legs. The armour is colored grey with red accented lines. The armour was branded with 'POLICE' on the chest piece, back of the neck, right arm, and left leg; 'NEURON' on the upper right chest, left arm, and right leg; and 'SV-05' on the chest, inside of the knee, upper arm, left shoulder, and neck. It also has armoured swords on its arms while the tops of the lower leg armour appeared sharp. And lastly on its chest is a triangular cavity with a dark red glowing core.

The group, except for Reiko and Kohaku, were in complete shock that the creature looked almost similar to the one they fought back at The Garden; Eden's HQ. "Guys? Is that what I think it is?" Gunvolt asked the group while still in shock.

"There's no doubt about it... it's another Nemesis!" Zi-O confirmed with a nod.

"And this one is called the Sword Nemesis, hence the sword arms!" Geiz added.

"But what is a Nemesis doing in a place like this?!" Copen questioned before they turned to the two people in front of them. "Hey! Are you two alright?!"

The two people turned around in response and gasp in shock. "C-Civilians?! What are you doing here?!" The female one said.

"Before we go any further, are you two Vent and Aile; Chosen Mega Men of Model X? Commander Prairie of the Guardians sent us to find you." Zi-O explained to the two people, making them gasp at a familiar name.

"You know Prairie?!" The male one exclaimed, earning a nod from Zi-O.

"Umm... which one of you is Vent and Aile? I can't tell either of you apart." Kohaku questioned the two identical people.

"Oh, right. Sorry for the mix-up. I'm Aile." The female one introduced before gesturing to her partner. "And the one beside me is Vent."

"You can tell us apart from our voices, if that makes it easier for you guys." The male one named Vent stated.

"Fair enough. Now what were you doing in this lab for so long? Prairie told us that you were looking for a Biometal signal." Gunvolt asked the Mega Men.

"That Biometal... Model Z... that creature has it!" Vent answered as they turned to the Sword Nemesis with an intimidating glare.

"What?!" Gunvolt, Copen and the Kamen Riders exclaimed in shock at what Vent revealed.

"While we're exploring the underground lab and dealing with some unknown enemy guards, we encountered... that thing." Aile pointed at the Nemesis. "When it saw us, it flew away while slashing through several guards. We chased after that thing until we cornered it in this room. We barely hung on when we fought that creature, and I don't know how long we can last."

"Okay... that explains the slash marks on the guards and the hallways." Geiz said.

"Oh great. Now we gotta deal with a Chimera that's powered up with a Biometal! And it HAD to be Model Z, huh?!" Zi-O complained.

"What's so special about Model Z? What kind of abilities does it have?" Copen asked.

"It specializes in close range attacks, and is equipped with an energy sword; the Z-Saber." Vent explained.

"An expert in close range attacks, and equipped with an energy sword. Got it." Copen repeated the info Vent explained, before his face went pale as to why Zi-O complained. "Oh... That's gonna be a problem for us."

"Why is that?" Gunvolt questioned.

"Because the Sword Nemesis absorbed a Biometal that specializes in close range combat." Copen answered with a frown. "I think you guys can put two and two together to see why that's gonna be problem for us."

"...Ah crap."

"If we're going to have a chance to defeat this... Nemesis... we need to get that Biometal out first." Aile stated.

"Then let us take over this fight while you two rest for a moment until you're ready to jump back in." Geiz advised the Mega Men.

Reiko turned to her sister and asked, "Kohaku, you have something to replenish their stamina?"

"I should have some food inside my backpack." Kohaku replied.

"Then you'd better give it to them instead." Reiko advised before turning to Gunvolt, Copen and the Riders. "Guys, I think you better let me handle this one instead."

Reiko's answer shocked the others, especially Kohaku. "Whoa, hold on there! We just got you out of that capsule!" Zi-O exclaimed.

"It's alright, I should be fine. And besides, I know how to handle sword fighters like this one after reading some of Kyota's mangas." Reiko assured as she stepped forward with her left hand on the scabbard and her other hand over the handle.

"Hmm... well you have a point. I mean I did see that video footage and saw how you quickly dealt with those drones in lightning fast speeds." Copen replied before turning to Geiz. "But just to be safe, let Geiz fight beside you. He know's how to deal with Chimeras. In fact, he might be planning to capture this Nemesis too, right?"

"Heh, it's like you read my mind, Copen." Geiz smirked back.

"Wait, capture? You can capture this creature?!" Kohaku questioned Geiz before she glanced at the Nemesis.

"With the Legatus, yes I can." Geiz confirmed as he materialized the Legatus using the Zikan Phone and attached the Legatus onto his left wrist before summoning the Axe Legion in front of him with one swipe, surprising Kohaku, Reiko, and the Mega Men.

"Is that...?" Vent said after seeing Geiz's Legion.

"Don't worry, this Chimera is on our side, so it won't hurt you." Geiz assured.

"If things get too hairy, remember to switch with us, okay?" Gunvolt advised Geiz and Reiko, earning a nod from them before they turned to the Nemesis with its swords ready.

"Oh, and if it's okay if everyone else, call me by my nickname for now." Reiko said to the group.

"And your nickname is?" Geiz asked.

"...Blade. Besides, I kinda like the name." Reiko replied.

"Well I won't judge. It's your choice, after all." Zi-O replied back.

With Geiz and Reiko's combat stances ready, they rushed towards the Sword Nemesis, who in turn also rushed towards them before it quickly jumped up into an aerial spin before attacking with an overhead slash. They quickly side stepped away from the attack in opposite directions before performing a counter slash with Geiz's Zikan Zax Ono Mode, the Axe Legion's great axe and Reiko's sword. The Nemesis countered back with a spin slash with both sword arms, forcing them to skid back a few steps after blocking the attack.

The others who are watching the fight, with Joule, Lola and Gunvolt using their Septima to heal the Mega Men, were a bit worried at how they will handle the Nemesis that's powered up with the Biometal. "Hmm... the Sword Nemesis might be a bit harder to fight than the Axe Nemesis." Copen remarked while recalling his fight with the Axe Nemesis back at Eden HQ.

"Considering the fact that it has a Biometal inside of it, then yes." Zi-O replied.

"What is a Nemesis anyway? And what's a Chimera?" Vent questioned Zi-O.

"Nemesis are basically Legions that lost some self control. As for Chimeras, they are invading extradimensional beings from another world. And Legions are basically Chimeras that can be controlled if they have the aptitude. How they ended up in this world I'll never know." Zi-O explained.

"I see..." Aile replied.

"I just hope Blade and Geiz can pull through this fight." Gunvolt said as they continue to watch the fight.

Geiz, Reiko and the Axe Legion quickly regrouped as the Sword Nemesis summoned several red energy swords circling around itself. "Tch... the Round Sword skill. Going close range just got a lot harder." Geiz frowned.

"Any ideas on how to bypass it?" Reiko asked.

"Well I could try shooting it, but it'll just cut away my energy arrows with ease." Geiz replied.

"Guess we'll have to go defensive until the swords are gone." Reiko stated.

"Defensive..." Geiz slowly repeated what Reiko said before he gasped in realization as he turned to the Axe Legion. "Wait... do you still have that defensive skill to protect us from those swords?" He asked the Legion, who nodded in response before summoning several blue energy shields around Geiz and Reiko, with the latter feeling surprised at what just happened. "Ah, the Blue Shield skill! This will be useful! Thanks, partner!" Geiz thanked the Legion.

"The Blue Shield skill?" Reiko questioned.

"Something to block those energy swords while we continue on the offensive." Geiz described.

"Ah, now I understand. Good thinking, Geiz!" Reiko complimented before they prepared their combat stances again.

"You go and strike first, and then I'll follow up when I see an opening!" Geiz said.

"Got it!" Reiko replied before she quickly dashed towards the Nemesis with lightning speed and began to assault it with fast sword strikes while the energy shields around her blocked the Nemesis' energy swords. Reiko and the Nemesis were trading blows and blocking attacks, though Reiko gained the upper hand due to her speed and managed to land a few strikes onto the Nemesis.

Geiz was planning to attack next, but can't help but wonder where the Biometal is hidden. He can't capture the Nemesis until the Biometal is pulled out first. He turned to the Mega Men and asked, "I need to ask you both something. You two fought the Nemesis for a while, right? Do you know where the location of the Biometal is?"

"Well I thought the Biometal is located in its chest, but according to Model X, it's actually located in its stomach." Aile answered.

"So I'm guessing that you're planning to pull that Biometal out yourself?" Vent guessed.

"Actually, I'll let my Axe Legion handle that part. I'll need to wait for an opening to strike. If only there's a way to stop those sword hands." Geiz answered, but then slowly realized the weapon Reiko is using when he remembered the data he saw at the lab. It's not just a sword, its a whip-sword. So maybe there's a way to entangle those arms for a moment. He turned to Reiko and yelled, "Blade! Your sword is segregated! Use it to entangle the Nemesis' arms for a moment so that my Legion can pull out that Biometal on its stomach!"

"Okay!" Reiko responded as the Nemesis performed an overhead slash with both sword arms. She prepared to block the attack with her sword, and when it was struck, her sword began to expand which allowed her to quickly entangle the Nemesis' arms with her whip-sword.

After that, with one swipe, Geiz sent the Legion flying towards the Nemesis while Reiko was holding it down. She quickly jumped over the Nemesis as the Legion shoved its hand inside the Nemesis' stomach and grabbed the Biometal hiding inside, with Reiko landing behind the Nemesis. And with one more swipe from Geiz, the Legion forcefully pulled out the Biometal, flew back towards Geiz and gave him the Biometal; Model Z, which was colored red and black. After that, Reiko performed an overhead throw with her whip-sword, sending the Nemesis crashing into the console for the power core as her whip-sword contracted before she sheathed it back. Unfortunately, the impact from the Nemesis also triggered the core overload sequence on the console.

"Uh... I didn't mean to do that." Reiko admitted.

"Well we were planning on destroying this lab anyway, and we got the Biometal back." Geiz stated. "But I'm not leaving until I capture that Sword Nemesis!"

"So what do we do?" Reiko asked.

Geiz then turned towards the Mega Men and asked, "You both got your stamina back and wanted to give that chimera some payback?"

"Yeah, we're ready to get back into the fight." Vent replied with a nod. "But it would be nice to get Model Z back so that we could have a better advantage."

"Ask and you shall receive." Geiz smirked as he threw the Biometal towards Vent, prompting him to catch it.

"You got Model Z out?! Thanks for the help, Geiz!" Aile complimented before turning to Model Z. "Model Z, can you hear us? We need your power once more!"

"Ugh... huh...?" Model Z responded. "Vent? Alie? Is that really you? What happened?"

"We'll explain everything later. But right now, we need your power again to help out our new friends." Vent replied.

"...Very well. Then you both know what to do." Model Z replied back.

"Aile, you ready?" Vent asked as he raised his hand holding Model Z.

"I thought you'd never asked!" Aile smirked back as she grabbed Vent's raised hand.

"I think we'd better stand back for a moment." Zi-O suggested before he, Gunvolt, Copen and Kohaku took a few steps away from the Mega Men.

"Model X!"

"Model Z!"

"Double MegaMerge!" Vent and Aile shouted.

"Biolink Established! M.E.G.A System Online!" Model X and Z announced as the Mega Men began to glow in a blue and red light, triggering their transformation.

And when the light disappeared, Vent and Aile are now wearing red armour, a red helmet with a green arrow-shaped crystal that stretches from the crest to the back of the head at the center, and long flowing blonde hair on the back of their helmets. As for weapons, Vent and aile are holding a green energy sword called, the ZX Saber. Everyone took a moment to look at Vent and Alie's new armour with awe.

"What... is that form?" Copen asked.

"That's the combined power of the Biometals, Model X and Z. This, is Mega Man ZX!" Vent answered.

"Mega Man... ZX..." Gunvolt repeated.

"I can feel immense power coming from those two after they transformed...!" Joule commented.

"This is the power of the Biometals combined?! Whoa...!" Lola also commented.

"Hehe, well what do you guys think? Pretty amazing, huh?" Aile asked the group with a grin.

"Not bad, not bad at all." Gunvolt answered with a smirk, while Copen nodded and felt impressed at the Mega Men.

"I think you two can take that Nemesis down with no trouble at all." Zi-O added.

=4 Minutes Remaining=

"I think we're running out of time! We need to get out of here now!" Kohaku stated.

"GV, switch with me! I'll get my sister out of here while you deal with the Nemesis!" Reiko said.

"Got it!" Gunvolt nodded before turning to Copen and Zi-O. "You two better go with them. We'll stay here and quickly capture that Nemesis before escaping the lab."

"Understood!" Copen nodded back.

"Don't keep us waiting too long!" Zi-O added.

"Geiz, here!" Kohaku threw the borrowed X-Baton Blaster Mode back to Geiz.

"Thanks, Kohaku! Now get moving! We'll catch up later!" Geiz replied before Reiko, Kohaku, Gunvolt and Zi-O quickly left the area, leaving Geiz, Gunvolt and the two Mega Men to deal with the Sword Nemesis as it growled with its sword hands ready.

"Hope you're ready for Round 2!" Vent began with his ZX Saber ready.

"Because this time, we're ready for you!" Aile finished and also with her saber ready.

"Joule, music please!" Gunvolt requested as he materialized his Luxcalibur.

"Already on it, GV!" Joule replied before she sang her song.

"Now then..." Geiz began as he prepared his Zikan Zax Ono Mode and X-Baton Blaster Mode. "Let's Ragna-Rock and Roll!"

The Sword Nemesis used its Round Sword skill again to protect itself with floating swords, while the Axe Legion used its Blue Shield skill onto Gunvolt, Geiz and the Mega Men to protect themselves with three floating shields surrounding each of them. "The Sword or The Shield. Which one will break first?" Geiz quoted.

"Time to find out!" Gunvolt declared as they rushed towards the Nemesis, who also began rushing towards the group.

The Sword Nemesis began to jump and performed a Rolling Slash to attack the group, but Vent and Aile jumped and countered back with a reverse Rolling Slash, breaking its momentum and leaving itself open while the Blue Shield blocked the Round Sword during the process. Gunvolt took his chance and tagged the Nemesis with his Dart Leader several times before unleashing his lighting bolts as it homed onto the tagged Nemesis and damaging it. Geiz followed up by sending the Axe Legion towards the landing spot of the Nemesis and commanded it to plant a copy of its large axe onto the ground and set it to Landmine setting before flying back to Geiz as he slotted the Faiz Ridewatch onto the Zikan Zax.

=FINISH TIME! FAIZ!=

While still airborne, the Mega Men performed a charged slash onto the Nemesis, sending it crashing towards the planted axe as it began to detonate upon impact. The explosion sent the Nemesis flying into the air once more.

=ZAKKURI CUTTING!=

Geiz began to attack with a powerful red photon slash wave followed up by a charged shot with his X-Baton Blaster, combining the attacks into one powerful blast and delivered massive damage onto the Nemesis, sending it crashing to a wall.

"Did we get him?" Aile asked.

"Not yet, but now would be a really good time to end this!" Geiz replied as he switched his Zikan Zax to Yumi Mode and prepared his final attack once more.

"Then let's make this last shot count!" Vent agreed as he and Aile changed the ZX Saber into the ZX Buster, pointed at the Nemesis and prepared a charged shot.

=FINISH TIME! FAIZ!=

"GV, on my signal, deliver the final blow with your Luxcalibur!" Geiz advised while aiming his Zikan Zax Yumi Mode at the Nemesis.

"Got it!" Gunvolt nodded as he began to charge up his Luxcalibur.

The Sword Nemesis began to slowly recover after the group's assault and growled in frustration as it prepared to attack once more.

=3 Minutes Remaining=

"Don't worry, three minutes is all we need to wrap it all up." Geiz quipped.

The Nemesis performed its Triple Sword skill by summoning three red spinning blades and quickly launching it towards the group.

=GIWA GIWA SHOOT!=

Geiz and the two Mega Men fired their charged shots as it began to combine into a bigger and more powerful shot and collided with the spinning blades.

"Finish Time, GV!" Geiz yelled.

"Oversurge, Azure Striker! Luxcaliber!" Gunvolt yelled as he dashed and thrusted his energy sword towards the combined charged shot, broke through the spinning blades and struck the Nemesis, ending with a large electrical explosion that sent the Nemesis crashing into the ground while Gunvolt jumped back and dispersed his Luxcalibur. "Geiz, now's your chance!"

"Gladly!" Geiz replied as he quickly set the Legatus to MODE-C and launched a blue capture ring onto the Sword Nemesis' neck as it struggled to break free. But eventually, the capture ring completely latched onto its neck, changing the chimera back to normal. Now it has blue eyes, blue skin, a blue cube core on its chest, and white and grey armour with green accents. "You're with us now... Sword Legion." Geiz declared as he pulled the astral chain, prompting the now named Sword Legion to float towards him.

"So that's how you capture the chimera, huh?" Gunvolt asked as everyone put away their weapons.

"Yep." Geiz nodded. "Now I've got two Legions on my side. And the Sword Legion will definitely be helpful in a long run."

"It's not gonna attack us again, is it?" Aile questioned.

"Relax, it's harmless now. Unless I sent it to attack a target." Geiz answered.

"I hope so." Vent said.

=2 Minutes Remaining=

"Uhh... guys? Now would be a REALLY good time to get out of here?!" Joule exclaimed in panic.

"You heard Joule, time to go!" Gunvolt declared as everyone quickly escaped the room and ran towards the exit of the lab as Geiz sent the Sword Legion back into the Legatus.

"This is Vent! We're all done here and are about to escape the lab!" Vent contacted Prairie via communicator on the side his helmet. "The moment we reach Guardian HQ, immediately transfer all of us inside and take off! The lab is about to explode in two minutes!"

"Understood, Vent! Come back safely, okay?" Prairie responded.

"We will, Prairie! See you soon!" Aile also contacted before ending the call as they quickly ran up the staircase until they reached the first floor and ran towards the entrance.

"There's the exit! Double time, people!" Geiz shouted as they saw the exit and quickly ran out of the lab and head towards Guardian HQ.

"There's Guardian HQ!" Vent said as they saw the large airship at a distance.

"I see you guys! The operators are beginning the transfer immediately!" Prairie contacted after she saw the group running towards the airship.

"Okay!" Vent responded, and in a few seconds, he, Aile, Gunvolt and Geiz were teleported into the airship with a flash of green light.

Guardian HQ

When they arrived at the Transerver Room, they met up with Kanade, Serena, Zeo, Copen, Grey and Ashe who are waiting for them.

Ashe has long silver hair tied to a ponytail while also wearing a red headband. She's also wearing an orange long sleeved jacket with white cuffs, a utility belt around her waist, and a pair of white and orange combat boots.

Grey has short silver hair with a red triangle on his forehead and a small scar on his left cheek. He's wearing a dark blue and orange bodysuit, short red pants with a brown belt around his waist, and another brown belt wrapped around his left forearm. He's also wearing a red upper light armour with a pair of red cables hanging behind the back. Lastly, he's wearing a pair of white and orange boots.

"Cutting it real close there, guys." Zeo greeted to the arrivals.

"At least we got the job done, and the Sword Legion is on our side." Geiz replied.

"Glad to hear it." Serena smiled.

"Nicely done, guys." Copen also smiled.

"Honestly, I never expected a Nemesis to be in that lab when Zeo and the others came back and told us about it." Kanade said.

"Vent, Aile, what took you so long down there?!" Ashe asked.

"Sorry, we had to deal with a Chimera problem down there." Vent replied. "But thanks to Geiz and GV's help, we managed to defeat it."

"Don't you mean Geiz caught it?" Aile corrected. "But, that's not all we caught down there."

"Wait..." Grey then realized that Vent and Aile are wearing in their Mega Men ZX forms. "When did you get those forms back?"

"Remember when we said that we were investigating that lab for a strange signal?" Vent reminded. "Turns out that said signal is actually Model Z."

"What?!" Grey exclaimed.

"How did Model Z end up in a lab in this world?" Ashe asked.

"We're... not very sure how. Even I was surprised when Vent and Aile told me that Model Z is inside that Chimera." Gunvolt answered.

"Anyway, time to meet up with Prairie at the Command Center. We're about to take off to our next destination." Zeo said. "And yes, we're doing it immediately since that lab is about to explode in a few moments."

"Then let's get going." Geiz declared as everyone quickly head for the Command Center.

When they arrived at the Command Center, they met up with Prairie who was sitting down before turning around to greet them. "Welcome back, everyone. And I'm glad you both are safe, Vent, Aile." Prairie greeted.

"Sorry we took so long." Vent apologized.

"But we managed to find out what that strange signal is. It was Model Z." Aile said.

"Model Z was in that lab?!" Prairie exclaimed.

"We'll explain AFTER we get out of this area, the lab is about to explode really soon." Geiz said.

"Understood." Prairie nodded before turning to the operators. "All preparations ready?"

"Guardian HQ is ready for take-off on your command!" One operator responded.

"Alright then, Grand Nuage, take off! We leave now!" Prairie ordered with her hand forward before the airship slowly began to lift off the ground and flew away from the area.

And just in time too, as the entire lab is destroyed in a massive explosion, while the Guardian HQ barely made it out of the blast zone with a few minor turbulences that prompted the people inside the ship to hold on for a brief moment.

When the turbulence ended, Prairie asked to one of the operators, "Damage report!"

"Nothing major, ma'am. Just a few small scratches on the ship. Other than that, we're all clear." The operator reported, making everyone sigh with relief that they made it out alive.

"That, was way too close. And this was the second time we had to escape from a building that's about to explode." Zeo commented, while Geiz, Vent and Aile transformed back into their civilian forms.

Vent has green eyes, long brown hair, wearing a white communicator head set, a mostly blue and gold open jacket over a black bodysuit with fingerless arms and gold armlets, long white pants, and lastly blue and gold boots.

Aile also has green eyes, long brown hair tied to a ponytail, wearing a while communicator head set, a mostly blue and gold open jacket over a black bodysuit with fingerless arms and gold armlets, short white pants, and lastly blue and gold boots.

"With the lab destroyed, no one will be able to suffer the same fate as Reiko." Gunvolt stated.

"Speaking of which, where is she, Kohaku, and the three kids?" Gaius asked.

"All of them are at the Medical Room for a few check-ups." Prairie informed. "After that, we'll assign them to their new jobs. Kohaku will assist with the operators while Reiko will assist the other Guardian soldiers. As for those three kids, I'll see what kinds of jobs they are willing to learn or help out with."

"Those poor kids... life is going to get rough without any parents taking care of them considering that I lost my family too." Kanade said.

"Wait, you lost your family too?!" Aile asked.

"Well, I used to have a family when I was young... until they were all killed by the Noise, extra-dimensional beings from another world." Kanade answered sadly, making Vent and Aile felt very sorry for her.

"I'm sorry to hear about that, uhh..." Vent began.

"Kanade. Kanade Amou."

"Right. Kanade. Well, me and Aile's mother died as well when we were young too. They were killed by Mavericks."

Kanade and Serena gasped in shock at what happened to Vent and Aile's mother, while Grey, Ashe, Gunvolt, Copen, Zeo and Gaius looked down with their eyes closed, and felt sorry for them.

"Damn... so you both lost your mom at a young age... Are the both of you related to her?" Gunvolt asked, earning a nod from Vent and Aile.

"I see... no wonder the both of you look like twins." Copen remarked.

"Just be glad that you still have each other, along with your new friends." Serena assured the twins.

"Yeah, maybe you're right. We have to keep moving forward so that no one else will face the same tragedy as us." Aile agreed. "What's your name, by the way?"

"Serena. Serena Cadenzavna Eve."

"That's... a very long name you have there. I'm just gonna call you Serena." Aile smiled.

"Hehe, it's nice to meet you too." Serena smiled back.

"Ah right, we never got to introduce ourselves." Zeo realized. "I'm Zeo Naotora, Kamen Rider Zi-O.

"And I'm Gaius Cornell, Kamen Rider Geiz."

"Ah, one other thing I forgot to mention." Prairie spoke to Zeo and Gaius. "Kanade and Serena told me about your roles and the events that happened so far. I'd never thought you two, along with Zeo's sister, would be the recent chosen ones to protect the multiverse from those Neo Time Jackers."

"Well we have to do something about it instead of doing nothing." Zeo replied. "And we're willing to see through this mission till the very end."

"We'll also have to be prepared for any challenges that lies ahead, both physically and mentally." Gaius added.

"Then you both have a lot of work cut out for you. Most of us here have already been through that experience." Prairie stated.

"Think you both can handle it?" Grey asked the Riders.

"From the moment we accepted this mission, there's no turning back." Zeo replied.

"But we're not gonna just sit there and let the Neo Time Jackers get away with it." Gaius added as he punched his open palm.

"Hehe, good answer!" Ashe grinned. "Then get ready for one hell of a ride."

"This world is only the first of the many world's we'll travel throughout the multiverse. But for now, we're heading to the Symphogear world." Zeo declared.

"Wait, we're going there now?" Gaius questioned. "What about Akira's message?"

"Yeah... about that..." Kanade answered as she pointed at Zeo pulling out his Zikan Phone and revealing a recent text message for everyone to see.

Dear Zeo, Gaius, Kanade and Serena,

If you can read this message, me and my team just finished our mission at Shantae's world. We were able to gain new allies in our fight against the Neo Time Jackers, and captured one of the Distortion Fragments causing said Distortion on their world. If you and your team managed to finish your mission, meet us at our next destination: The world of the Symphogears. The next Distortion Fragment might be located there. I've already marked the location of the Symphogear world on your Zikan Phone so that you won't get lost. I'm looking forward to see you all again, and my new allies would love to meet you too. Oh, and Kallen and Sakura said 'Hello'. Well then, see you guys there.

"The moment me and the others arrived back at Guardian HQ, I received my sister's message on my Zikan Phone." Zeo explained.

"Well... looks like it's time to go home, huh girls?" Gunvolt asked Kanade and Serena.

"Indeed, and we're definitely gonna need their help." Serena nodded.

"And I need to pay Genjuro a visit so that he and the others can help us decipher the last known location of Gjallarhorn." Kanade added.

"Gjallarhorn?" Vent and Aile repeated in confusion.

"It's a long story. Kanade and Serena already filled me in on the details." Prairie answered.

"Same for me and Grey. And let me tell you, you'd be surprised at how big the multiverse really is." Ashe added.

"Ma'am! We've located a nearby portal up ahead!" The operator informed, gaining everyone's attention as they saw a portal on the main screen.

"Is that the portal where the four of you first came in?" Prairie asked the Riders and the Symphogears.

"Yup, that's the one." Zeo confirmed before giving his Zikan Phone to Prairie. "The Zikan Phone can connect the map data to Guardian HQ's systems wirelessly."

"Okay." Prairie began to push a few buttons on the phone until the map data is downloaded onto the airship's systems. "Alright, it's done."

"Great, then we're ready to move out on your command." Zeo repiled as Prairie gave back the phone to him.

With everything all set, Prairie stood up from her chair and swiped her hand forward. "Grand Nuage, move out! Next destination: The world of the Symphogears!"

"Yes, ma'am!"

And with that, the airship blast off into the portal before it began to close after the airship went inside.

"Sis, see you real soon." Zeo said as the airship traveled through the portal.

"Kallen, Sakura, hope you both are doing okay when I see you again." Gaius said.

"Maria-neesan, Kirika, Shirabe, I'm coming home." Serena said.

"Tsubasa, Old Man Genjuro, hope you're ready to see me again." Kanade said. "And I'm looking forward to meeting you in person at last... Hibiki Tachibana... my little kouhai."

"Hmm... now that I think about it, what's the point of using Finé's USB Drive since Akira gave Zeo the map data for the Symphogear world?" Gunvolt pondered.

"True, but Akira did not have the one data we have; the last known location of Gjallarhorn." Copen replied.

"Ah, right." Gunvolt nodded.

"Either way, I'm looking forward to meeting Tsubasa. I wonder how she'll react to my singing?" Joule pondered.

"If Kanade and Serena loved your music, then I'm sure Tsubasa will love it too. Trust me, Joule." Gunvolt answered with a smile.

"And I can't wait to meet Maria's older sister, along with Kirika and Shirabe! I wonder what they look like?" Lola pondered.

"I'm sure we'll find out when we get there, Lola." Copen answered. "Just try not to cause any trouble when we meet them."

"Think they got the message?" Kallen asked as she, Sakura, Kiana, Mei, Bronya, Seele, Theresa, Himeko, Fu Hua, Miriam and Regina were looking at the message Akira texted on her Zikan Phone after she sent the message, while Woz was busy reading his book and having his tea.

"I'm sure they will, Kallen." Akira assured as she put away her phone. "Honestly, I never expected that our next destination would be Kanade and Serena's world."

"Neither do we." Sakura agreed. "I wonder who will they react when Kanade and Serena meet their friends again?"

"Well we won't know until we get there." Akira answered. "Now then, is everyone ready for our next adventure?"

"Ready as always!" Kiana replied with Mei nodding.

"The Bronya and Seele are ready for whatever our next mission takes us." Bronya replied with Seele nodding.

"I wonder what kind of world Kanade and Serena lived in? I'm looking forward to it." Himeko replied.

"We'll be right behind you, Akira." Fu Hua also replied.

"Hopefully we can get more allies to help in our fight against the Neo Time Jackers and maybe even my father." Theresa also replied.

"I wonder what kind of technology that world has? I'm curious to find out what it is." Einstein pondered.

"Hey, don't leave me out of the loop too! I'm also curious on what that world has!" Tesla added.

"I wonder how different that world will be compared to Sequin Land and my world?" Miriam pondered.

"If it's anything like my world, then I'm sure it'll be exciting!" Regina cheerfully replied.

"Then what are we waiting for? Zi-O Liner, full speed ahead!" Akira declared with her fist raised with excitement.

"Yeah!"

"So, their reunion is coming really soon. And from that point on, their real adventure, will finally begin." Woz whispered with an amusing smile as he closed his book and took a sip of his tea, awaiting what lies ahead for the chosen heroes and their allies.
