Eventually Dipper, Mabel, and Hermione had returned to Hogwarts to start the next term. Hermione could not believe the escapade that Harry went on, being out of bed three nights in a row. Pacifica continued to stare at Dipper. Even after the talk she had with Dumbledore, she still wasn't ready to come clean about her feelings. Ron and Mabel would occasionally look and each other, and blush.

One night as they were in the Gryffindor common room, Neville hobbled in, with his legs stuck together. It became apparent that Malfoy had put him under the leg locker curse. After Hermione performed the counter curse on him, Ron spoke to him. "You have got to speak to McGonagall about what's been happening." "I don't want any more trouble" said Neville. "You can't just let people push you around your whole life" said Dipper. "I think that you are worth 12 of Malfoy" said Harry. He then handed Neville a chocolate frog. Neville unwrapped it and gave the wizard card to Harry. Once Neville went to bed, Harry saw that it was a Dumbledore card. He then could not believe what it said on it. Albus Dumbledore is famous for his work on alchemy with his partner Nicolas Flamel. "I knew I heard that name somewhere, I read it on on the train" said Harry. "Wait here, I think I might have a lead" said Hermione. She ran into the girls dormitory, and came out with a large book. "I borrowed this out of the library weeks ago for a bit of light reading" she said. "I don't see how this is considered light" said Ron. Hermione ignored him and opened the book. "Here it is, Nicolas Flamel is the only known maker of the philosopher's stone" said Hermione. "None of us know what the heck you're talking about" said Mabel. "Do you people ever read?" asked Hermione. "The philosopher's stone is a really powerful substance, that can turn any metal into pure gold." "It can also produce the elixir of life, which can make the drinker immortal." "It also says that Nicolas Flamel just celebrated his 665th birthday." "Now we know what that three headed dog is guarding" said Pacifica. "It's no wonder we couldn't find Flamel in books about modern times, given how old he is" said Ron. "It's no wonder Snape wants that stone."

It wasn't long before Slytherin was playing Ravenclaw in the next quidditch match. The six of them had a friendly rivalry with Nicole Timor, as she was rooting for the Slytherin team, while they were rooting for the Ravenclaw team. Ravenclaw was able to get a win by 80 points. The Gryffindor team knew what they had to go up against, when they played against them in the season finale.

Authors note: I went with the title of Philosopher's stone instead of Sorcerer because Philosopher was in the original title.
