Show The Truth
Rainbow Haired Girl
Summary: A woman shows up with an unknown man, but what secrets does she hold and what are their plans in Storybrooke? Book 1 of The Forgotten Sorceress.
Disclaimer: I don't own Once Upon A Time, but I do own the OC in this story.
Authoress Note: I kind of figured that I would write this story due to the fact that I've never really seen this character used in this series, and I thought hey I want to give it a try. So without further ado Book 1 of The Forgotten Sorceress. Enjoy.
Prologue
A woman touched a man's shoulder lightly as he panted softly gripping his leg in agony. She let out a very soft breath pressing a soft kiss to the back of his head. "Breath." She said softly as she rubbed his back softly trying to soothe him. "The pain will pass soon."
The man looked over his shoulder at the dark haired woman who was dressed in a robe that covered her night clothes. He panted softly as sweat fell down his face. "She's been found hasn't she?" He asked softly his voice coming out in a grating pain.
The dark haired woman moved around him and looked right into his blue eyes. She stroked some of his hair back in a soothing motion. "I believe so, August you know what this means, sweetheart."
August looked up into her blue eyes. "You think I can do this, Mel?" He asked softly as she took his hands into hers squeezing them lightly.
Mel gave him a small sad smile before lightly removing her one hand and touching his cheek lightly causing him to lean into it. She stroked his cheek lightly. "You have to, August. She's now 28…" She said softly as she stopped stroking his cheek softly. "You have to help her believe."
August took a soft breath putting his hand on top of hers that was on his cheek. He squeezed her hand lightly. "You'll come with me right, Mel?"
Mel smiled softly looking into his blue eyes. "Yes, I'll be helping you every step of the way August. You should know that." She told him softly stroking his cheek softly.
August gave her a soft look squeezing her hand softly. "Thank you, Mel." He said softly, taking a soft breath.
"What is an older adoptive sister for?" She questioned cheekily as she winked slowly removing her hand from his gruff cheek. "We know where she went right?"
August ran his hand through his hair letting out a soft breath. "Yeah…"
Her dark brow raised some as she looked at him. "And?"
"Storybrooke, Maine."
Mel closed her blue eyes taking a soft breath. "Okay looks like we go in the morning." She got up to her feet. "I'll book us a flight and then we will ride there."
August nodded his head slowly. "Okay." He said softly. "Thank you for this Mel."
Mel rested her hand on his shoulder squeezing it lightly. "You try to rest okay?" She said softly looking into his eyes.
"I will, Mel."
Mel placed a soft kiss on the top of his head before ruffing his hair some. "Good night August." She said softly as she headed to the other room that was connected to his. She took a soft breath.
"Good night, Mel."
Mel turned her head and looked at him with a small smile before slowly turning to go to her room. She closed the door letting out a soft breath leaning against the door. She closed her eyes, gripping the necklace that she wore. This was the day that she worried about, which meant that she and August would have to do their jobs and bring everything back to normal. That was something that wasn't going to be easy on them or the young woman that they would be in search of, Emma.
