Authoress Note: Welcome to Chapter 1 of Show the Truth. I know that I really shouldn't be writing more stories when I have so many of them up and unfinished, but I really needed to try and get this story up before I forgot about it. :/ So please bear with me as I work on all of the unfinished stories due to the fact that I have a little bit of trouble with writing at the moment. I had surgery over a year ago, and I still haven't had any sort of relief from it. So now I gotta wait and see what the doctor says, so that's a fun waiting game. Anyways I hope that you guys enjoy this next chapter. Without further ado Chapter 1.

Chapter 1

Welcome To Storybrooke

They had made it to Storybrooke, Maine. It took them a while, but they had made it one piece. They pulled over into one of the parking spots.

August got off of his bike and removed his helmet. He walked over to Mel as she removed her helmet. "I'm going to see if we can find a place to stay."

Mel nodded her head. "Alright, August, try not to be too long. We need to try and rest after that long haul to get here."

August gave her a cheeky smile before turning and seeing a blonde haired woman with a young boy. He walked over to the two of them. "Hey."

"Hey." The woman said looking up at him slightly baffled to see two people that were very much new in town.

"Is this Storybrooke?"

"Yeah."

"Any place to get a room around here?"

"Uh, you're staying?" The young boy asked looking up at the man.

Mel let out a soft chuckle as she saw the look of confusion on the young boy's face. She had to admit that he looked rather adorable.

"That's the plan. I'm just looking for a bed for me and my sister."

The woman blinked a few times looking at Mel who was not too far away. She bit her lip softly before looking back at August. "Granny's Bed and Breakfast is just off the road, another two blocks."

"Thank you." He said before walking back to his bike.

"Hey, I didn't catch your name!"

"That's 'cause I didn't give it." He said before getting onto his bike starting it up.

Mel started up her bike and she followed August down the road to find the Bed and Breakfast that the young woman talked about. She shook her head knowing that August was just getting started with his antics.

August led Mel down the road before they arrived outside of Granny's. He got off his bike letting out a soft breath.

Mel got off of her bike and removed her helmet looking over at August. "So what did you tell them?" She questioned her brow quirking a little as she looked at him.

August let out a soft chuckle. "I told them that we were looking for a place to rest our heads." He mused with a smile. "Told them that you were my sister too."

Mel let out a soft chuckle shaking her head lightly. "Of course you would say that we are siblings."

August grinned looking over into her eyes. "Well, they would believe that siblings are travelling."

Mel hummed softly. "Alright. Let's go get our rooms and rest. We really need it."

August nodded his head and slowly walked with her into the Bed and Breakfast. He saw the old woman working behind the counter.

The old woman looked up seeing the two of them. "Can I help you?"

August put some money down onto the counter. "Two rooms please." He said with a smile.

The woman slowly took the money counting it before giving back the proper change. She then grabbed two keys before handing them to the two new faces in town. "Enjoy your stay."

Mel smiled softly. "Thank you, Ma'am." She said as she took the key from her.

August looked over at Mel. "Shall we go to our rooms, sister?"

Mel nodded her head. "Yes."

The two of them went in search of their rooms.

"So you want to get the savior to believe… do you even remember her name?"

"Emma." He said looking over at her.

Mel nodded her head. "Alright. Well we'll search in the morning and hopefully we'll find her."

August nodded his head. "Thank you."

Mel stopped and looked at him. "For what?" She questioned tilting her head to the side.

August took a soft breath. "For coming with me."

Mel gave him a small soft smile. "You know I'd do anything to help you August. Anything to save our people."

August smiled softly.

Mel unlocked her room and went inside of it letting out a soft breath. She ran her hand through her hair and went to the window slowly looking out. She bit her lower lip as she watched people walking around doing their daily business. Her eyes landed on a man with a cane and she put her hand on the window as she watched the man go into his business. "Rumple." She said softly, taking a soft breath. She had finally found the man that had the answers to what had happened.
