Chapter 1 Birth of the New Goblin

Inside the tour of the crime lord known as The Kingpin, we can see the gigantic criminal standing inside his office along with two of his guards next to him. He was facing one of the many people that were causing him problems, the Hobgoblin.
"Hobgoblin, I hope that you won't disappoint me," Kingpin said in a serious tone of voice as the yellow masked villain was checking his gear.
"I will handle my end of the deal, make sure your men handle their task," Hobgoblin said as he created a portal and the two soldiers jumped right into it.
Not even a second later, the portal appeared inside a vault where mountains of gold were kept right behind two guards that were about to leave the vault.
Without wasting a second, the two soldiers of the crime lord threw a pair of anastatic gas grenades that surprised the guards and also knocking them down before they could do something.
Seeing this, the criminals smirked however their happiness was short-lived as webs suddenly shot around them, making them unable to move.
When they looked, the last thing that the soldiers saw was none other than Spiderman as he jumped and knocked them up and jumped into the portal without wasting a second.
Back into Kingpin's tower, the group of villains was getting impatient.
"What is taking them so long?!" A furious Kingpin asked, however, the response that he got was Spiderman coming out of the portal.
"Sorry guys but your boys were a little held up," Spiderman said as he jumped toward the group of criminals.
However, unknown to the friendly wallcrawler, inside the vault, we can see a figure walking inside, toward the fallen criminals.
The figure revealed itself to be none other than Alex Kingsley, a skilled reporter and also, unknown to him, a close friend of the man behind Spiderman's mask.
"So my pieces of information were right, the Kingpin was going to steal the gold," Alex said as he looked at the fallen soldiers.
"But it seems that Spiderman had the same idea as me," He added as he began to dress up into one of the soldier's armor and jumped into the portal, which was slowly starting to disappear.
When he walked out of the portal, Alex saw Spiderman fighting against the Hobgoblin and showed to have the upper hand. However, this changed when the Kingpin decided to join and smash his fist against the masked hero's chest, sending him crashing into the ground and starting to crush him.
"I will break you into pieces," Kingpin said as Spiderman was trying to escape the man's death grip.
"No! I cannot allow this to happen," Alex thought as he saw the gun from the uniform of the soldier that he took so he decided to help the hero by using the blaster to fire toward the large criminal boss.
This made Kingpin let go of the masked hero and looked toward the masked Alex.
"You dare to attack me?!" The crime lord shouted as he punched Alex into the face, cracking his helmet and sending him flying into a wall, as his helmet was split in two, revealing his face.
"Alex?! What is he doing here?" Spiderman thought as he looked at his wounded friend.
"So we have a brat trying to play hero? Not a very good idea to face me, little boy," Kingpin said as he walked toward the boy.
However, before he could touch him, a powerful explosion destroyed one of the walls as a crazy laugh was heard from the cloud of smoke.
"Stand back for the REAL goblin. The Green Goblin," A voice said being none other than the Green Goblin as he appeared from the cloud of smoke with his insane smile.
"I thought you were just a rumor," Hobgoblin said in disbelief.
"You're going to wish I was," Green Goblin said as he began to attack the Hobgoblin with everything he got.
"This is bad. The Hobgoblin was a thing but the green one is another deal. He doesn't have any control, he is just chaos," Alex thought as he knew of the way the famous green goblin was able to do from his damage to New York, kidnappings, and other things.
As the fight continued, Alex saw that Spiderman was trying to bring them down, something that was very difficult with one goblin, but with two it was almost impossible.
Seeing this, Alex began to think of a way to help the hero, his strength starting to increase as his adrenalin was rising more and more.
As he looked around, Alex saw the piece of the large glider that the Hobgoblin used, being slashed by the one the Green Goblin uses.
"That's it," Alex said as he walked toward the glider wing and noticed that one of the Hobgoblin's pumpkin bombs was still intact.
Without wasting even a second, Alex looks toward the fight and saw that the Green Goblin & the Hobgoblin were close to each other. The young man threw the bomb toward them, shocking the two villains and Spiderman too as the two goblins tried to dodge the bomb.
This however wasn't able and the explosion blasted the two of them away from each other as the Hobgoblin crashed into a wall. The Green Goblin fell from his glider and crashed against the ground, shattering the ground around him.
"That was a close one," Alex said as Spiderman landed in front of him.
"Hey, are you ok?" Spiderman asked in concern, getting Alex nodded.
"Yeah, it's ok. You should take care of those two," Alex said, pointing toward the goblins.
However, unknown to him, the Green Goblin smirked as he activated a device from his belt and made his glider rush toward Alex and Spiderman, something that the masked hero felt with his spider-sense.
"Watch out!" Spiderman yelled as he pushed Alex out of the path of the glider just as he was about to be hit by a wave of laser blasts coming from the purple glider.
As Spiderman dodged the attacks, Alex notices that the Green Goblin disappears from his place and suddenly appeared in front of him and grabbed him by the neck, using his superman strength to lift him in the air.
"You really thought that you had a chance to defeat me? The Green Goblin?" Green Goblin asked as Alex was trying to stop him from crushing his neck.
"Well, maybe I should show you what wanna be heroes receive when they start something they cannot finish," Green Goblin said as he threw Alex into a wall and made his glider to leave Spiderman and rush toward Alex, unleashing a pair of long blades and into just second impaled Alex into his chest, making him to threw up a large amount of blood, shocking Spiderman.
"NO!" Spiderman screamed in despair as to watched his friend being killed by the Green Goblin. Anger, and sadness tacking over his mind.
Without saying a word, only looking at the boy with an insane smile, the Green Goblin recalled his glider and jumped on it ss he noticed the Hobgoblin slowly getting up and trying to leave the building.
While this happened, Spiderman went to help his friend, however, to his horror. He gelt nothing, no pulse, nothing. Alex was dead, and he knew that it was his fault for not reacting fast enough.
Seeing this, Spiderman placed his body on the ground gently and rushed to find the goblins to avenge Alex's death.
As Alex's life ended, he felt warm instead of cold as a glow appeared before his eyes, the glow of a golden flame.
"It wasn't supposed to end like this, won't you agree?" A deep demonic voice asked, causing Alex's eyes to be trying to keep themselves open.
"W-who are you?" A weak Alex asked as a demonic being appeared in front of him, looking like a more demonic form of the Hobgoblin.
"Me? I am the true goblin, the first one. I am the Demogoblin." said the Demogoblin, shocking the weak Alex.
"What do you want?" Alex asked as he was slowly fading away, dying.
" Hmm, what I want is for those fakes to pay for making fun of the name of my image. But, right now the question is what do you want?" Demogoblin asked.
"I can feel it, your anger toward those that killed you, toward those so-called villains that use their power to harm those around you," Demogoblin said as Alex felt something inside of him.
The anger, hate, for every criminal that harm the innocents, and for the one that took his life that stole his future, the Green Goblin burn into his mind and soul.
"Yes, I hate them, I hate the green goblin, I hate every last one of those that use their power to make those around them become their toys," Alex answered in a weak tone, making the Demogoblin tp laugh like a maniac.
"HAHAHAHAHA! That's right, you really are an interesting guy. How about I offer you a way to live?" Demogoblin offered.
"What do you mean?" A shocked Alex asked.
"I cannot enter your world. Only manifest me inside one's mind, as I do right now. So I need a warrior, a bounty hunter if you want to call it, in order to make sure that my enemies will know the anger of the Demogoblin. That is why I need you. I will bring you back to life but in exchange, you will become my host, my warrior, my avatar to make all of those that dare to wrong to us, pay, to face true justice," Demogoblin said as he offered his hand to Alex.
"So? Do we have a deal?" Demogoblin asked as Alex looked at the hand with his eyes being covered by his hair.
However, after a second of hesitation, Alex took the demon's hand, making him laugh once more as the young man was covered into the demonic fire, his pact, and his new life starting to take form.
The birth of a new goblin has come.

AN: The birth of a new goblin has awoken and Alex will unleash the flames of hell to the Green Goblin. Also, Alex would be making his own team and will be TBA in the next update if you have ideas for members, I will hear them out and will see them all next time but one last thing.
