Chapter 1:
The 1st of September 2011 rolled around quickly. Too quickly for pansy's liking. Her uncle Blaise held her hand as she went through the barrier to platform 9 and ¾. To say she was scared was an understatement. The ruby engine shined in the September sun. Georgia hugged her mum one last time and climbed on the train.
On the other end of the platform a very different scene was occurring harry potter was saying goodbye to his wife and son as both harry and his godson teddy were going to Hogwarts. He had been married to ginny for 11 years and she had continuously cheated on him and used him for his money. They had one son named James Sirius potter. To Ginny's dismay kreacher the house elf refused to listen to her as he did not see her as his true mistress which harry knew was true. His queen was. To be completely honest he wanted pansy more and more every day but ginny had banned any contact between the two and he did truly miss her. Harry retired from the aurors last year as he wanted an easier life and Professor McGonagall asked him to return home to teach dada and who was he to refuse his honorary grandmother. He was adamant teddy was going to be in Hufflepuff. Sometimes he was so much like Dora it was painful, but he loved the boy so much. Andy could not look after him so when he was one harry adopted him and he moved into grimuald place with him.
With a quick wave to ginny the train pulled off. He thought he saw a glimpse of pansy on the platform, but he couldn't be sure, he pushed it to the back of his head and went to sit in the staff compartment. With a quick goodbye to ted, "go teddy, make friends your uncle Ron and I met on the first ever train ride, you never know who you might meet." And with that teddy ran off to the other end of the train.
Georgia was only sat for a few minutes when a boy with bright blue hair knocked on the compartment. "hello, my names teddy can I sit with you." Georgia smiled as wide as she could manage. "of course, I'm Georgia." Teddy sat and Georgia was sure that this was a friendship that would last a lifetime. Over the train ride teddy and Georgia were joined by Bella Nott and Lucas Finnegan. They talked about everything from quidditch teams (living in Italy Georgia's was the Verona Vikings and her UK team was the chudley cannons which was the same as teddy) to houses. Her mum thought she was going to be either Hufflepuff or Gryffindor secretly Georgia hoped she was in the house of lions, so she had a subtle connection to her dad.
As the engine pulled into the station Georgia felt a pressure, she never knew existed a mixture of fear and excitement. The 4 1st years climbed off the train and ran to the giant man who was getting them into little boats. Georgia once again sat with Teddy, Bella and Lucas. The boats pulled off from the little dock and as she got her first glimpse of the castle that strange feeling she had earlier disappeared from her stomach. The little boats pulled up and the 4 friends all ran up the stairs where a professor with messy hair and a woolly jumper was waiting for them.
The man started speaking," hello I am Professor Longbottom, I teach herbology here at Hogwarts in a moment I am going to take you into the hall, and you will be sorted, there are four houses Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, Gryffindor and Slytherin. These are not only where you sleep and who you attend classes with but your family while you are here. Let's go kids". With that the 1st years set off and a old hat and stool where placed in front of them it then sung a song about ambitious Slytherins, rave Gryffindor's, loyal Hufflepuffs, logical Ravenclaws then professor Longbottom started speaking again "right when I say your name I want you to come up and the hat will sort you".

Then it was Lucas' turn within seconds the hat shouted
"GRYFFINDOR"
Then it was Bella's turn after 3 minutes it bellowed
"GRYFFINDOR"
Teddy was sorted into Gryffindor too, much to his apparent surprise after 3 more children where sorted 2 to Slytherin and 1 Hufflepuff it was Georgia's turn
The hat was placed on top her head, "hmmm a secret potter I see, plenty of courage but lots of intellect here, I've not sorted one like you since Hermione granger where to put you hmmm", all Georgia could think was please put me with teddy please. Hearing her thoughts, the hat knew just where to place her. "I know it best be GRYFFINDOR". Breathing a sigh of relief, she ran off to join teddy at the red table.
After the last person was sorted the headmistress stood up and welcomed them and told them to stay out of the forest a brilliant feast appeared, and Georgia ate to her hearts content. When the feast ended a prefect sent them all off to bed with a light-hearted remark about it getting easier. Georgia was so excited for her future.
With a quick letter to her mum and uncle Blaise she fell into a deep sleep ready to face her first day of lessons the day after…
