It was a few months down the road and the bots were having a party for Christmas and Steadybreeze was singing a Christmas song. "She sure is looking good up there isn't she," Roadmine said with a smile.
"I was wondering how did a warrior like you end up with a hippie bot like her?" Sideburn asked.
"I was wondering when someone would ask it all started about 500 years ago," Roadmine said. "I had been badly wounded in a battle and I was in a medical bay and who do I see when I wake up Steadybreeze she was a vision. At first I wondered if I was dead because I asked if she was angel." he said.
"She told me no she was a nurse, and that I was very much alive and that she was just changing my bandages," He explained. "We became good friends during that time getting closer each day, at least that is how I felt." he said. "However the other soldiers told me she was nurse and I was just patient to her, I knew I was nothing more the patient and she was a nurse so I believed them." he said. "What surprised me one morning is she came up to me and said, 'how's my favorite patient?' I managed to smiled. Then she asked me if I was still in the great pain I had been in for the past several days because I had to get several internal parts repaired along with my cyber skeletal which I had cast almost over every limb." he said.
"Ouch," Sideburn said.
"Ouch is not how I would put it, I would put as major track stopping pain, I mean both my arms were broken and my left leg was broken and my engine block had been cracked, I had twisted gears and torn pulleys and a concussion." Roadmine explained.
"Ooh that sounds pretty bad, you must've been pretty lucky to have survived what caused that," Sideburn said.
"Yes I was but one my pals he wasn't so lucky," Roadmine said.
"I'm sorry to hear that," Sideburn said.
"Steadybreeze was good at her job as a nurse, she went above and beyond many times." Roadmine explained. "She comforted a dying soldier and stayed with him and was with him as he died. She has a good spark. She tended to her patients carefully and she always paid closest attention me and made me smile. She helped me with my physical therapy, and such. We always had fine conversations. We became very close. I loved to see her very much." Roadmine said. "Something between us just clicked and we fell for each other." he said. "We spent time together after that and decided to come to earth and our love grew and eventually we got married and we have been together ever since," he said.
"That's great," Sideburn said.
"Yes and we have been talking about having kids for sometime and hopefully we will finally have one," Roadmine said.
Then a couple of weeks later Roadmine got a call. "I understand sir, of course I will be there in two weeks time okay bye," Roadmine said.
"Who was it Roadmine?" Steadybreeze asked.
"It was Optimus Prime he needs me to go to planet Athenia for a while to help the bots there for a few months because there had been rumors of a driods uprising there, and he want's me to help," Roadmine said.
Steadybreeze smiled and hugged him. "I understand go do your best and protect us and those innocents in the galaxy." she said kissing him.
"I better start packing," Roadmine said and started to pack up his stuff to get ready to go.
The others heard about Roadmine being deployed by Optimus Prime the leader of the Autobots for a short while so he was getting ready to go.
Everyone gave Roadmine a big send off and he promised he would be back in a few months.
