Okay! The story is back! First of all, thanks for the ideas you gave me for the pairing of Supergirl and Danny Phantom! Thanks to that, I will not change the pairing! Second, please sit back and enjoy the story!

Chapter 7: Paradise Lost

Danny was hanging out with his friends, eating at the Nasty Burger. He used to hang out with them, but ever since the Justice League formed, he's been too busy to hang out with them. So he was really enjoying his time with them.

"No means no, Tucker," Danny said as he slurped his favorite milkshake.

"C'mon, man!" Tucker pleaded for the umpteenth time. "At least tell me their phone numbers."

"Dude, they don't even know how to use a cell!"

"Give it a rest, Tucker," Sam said, eating her salad. "Besides, aren't they a little too old for you?"

"Hey, ladies dig a man with a smooth face," Tucker said as he licked his thumb and straightened out his eyebrows.

"Not these ladies," Danny muttered as he ate his fries. "All they care about is bust heads and break bones."

"I like them already," Sam said.

"It really is good to hang out with you guys," Danny said, chuckling a bit. "I hope I get to hang out with you guys a little longer."

Suddenly, his communicator started beeping.

"And I just jinxed it," Danny said as he answered his communicator. "Phantom here."

Sam and Tucker watched as Danny had his silent conversation, his expression changing from confusion to shock to disbelief.

"Okay," he said in a serious tone. "I'll be there as soon as I can."

He sighed as the call ended and he looked at his friends, smiling apologetically.

"Sorry guys," he said as he stood up. "But duty calls."

"Can't you just skip this one?" Tucker asked.

"It's too important to skip," Danny explained.

"What is it?" Sam asked, lifting an eyebrow.

"One of my teammates needs help," Danny replied as he walked away.

"…Are you gonna eat this?" Tucker called, pointing at Danny's food. Danny walked back and took the tray of food and asked for a doggie bag. He then waved at his friends and walked through the door.

Metropolis…

Phantom was drinking his milkshake as he flew through the night sky, going towards the coordinates Batman gave him.

"Phantom!" a voice called. He turned and saw Superman flying towards him. "Batman sent you, too?"

"Uh-huh," Danny said as he offered the doggie bag. "Chili fries?"

"I'll pass," Superman said as the two flew towards the Museum of Natural History. When they got there, they saw a giant hole on the ceiling.

"Talk about a natural spotlight," Danny said as finished his fries. Then the two flew down and saw Wonder Woman standing in the middle of a pile of rubble.

"Diana!" Superman called. Wonder Woman turned around and saw Superman and Danny Phantom flying through the hole. "What's going on?"

"This is not your concern!" Wonder Woman replied as the two heroes landed in front of her.

"Sorry, but it became our concern when one of our friends decided to trash public property," Danny said as he looked around the trashed room. "The others are on their way, so you might want to explain to them why you decided to go all AWOL on us."

Wonder Woman looked at them before she sighed in defeat.

Later…

Danny, Superman, Flash and J'onn were standing in front of Wonder Woman, who explained to them about her situation.

"Can you actually trust this…Faust guy?" Danny asked with arms crossed.

"Of course I don't trust this Faust," Wonder Woman said. "But what else can I do?"

"I say we go back and kick the wimpy sorcerer's butt!" Flash said as he appeared next to Wonder Woman.

"No," Wonder Woman said, shaking her head. "Men are forbidden from ever setting foot on Themyscira."

"Someone should have him that," Flash said.

"Besides," Wonder Woman added. "I gave my word that I will find the other relics."

"I'm afraid that leaves us with no other choice," J'onn said. Everyone nodded while Wonder Woman lower her head.

"We'll have to help you," J'onn said with a smile.

Wonder Woman looked up in surprise as everyone smiled. She then smiled at them, feeling grateful.

Rain Forest…

Danny, Flash and J'onn were on the Javelin, flying towards an old ruin.

"We're here," Danny said as the red gem Wonder Woman gave them started glowing.

J'onn nodded as he landed the Javelin at the edge of the forest. They then got up and walked towards the hangar doors.

"Just picture it," Flash said in a dreamy voice. "The sun, the sea and hundreds of women running around, and then me; the first man they've seen since…oh maybe, forever. Oh, and look what I brought; iced mocha for everyone! Sweet."

"I fail to see the attraction," J'onn said as he followed Danny, who was holding the gem.

"You really are from Mars," Flash said.

"It's an Earth thing, J'onn," Danny said as he turned to look at them. "Some men have delusions of them getting a lady or two."

"Hey!" Flash said as he appeared in front of them. "Aren't you a bit excited? An island full of women!"

"And those women are probably as strong as Wonder Woman," Danny added. "And they were raised to hate men. Don't get me wrong, an island full of hot girls is awesome, but I like where my head; on my shoulders. So yeah, I'm with J'onn on this one."

"Perhaps we should concentrate on finding the relic," J'onn said, pointing at the building.

"No problem," Flash said with a smile. Suddenly, he dashed towards the ruin, taking the gem from Danny's hand. He ran in the ruin and seconds later, was back, holding a vase.

"See, that was easy," Flash said as he opened the vase and grabbed the relic that was inside.

Suddenly, the ground under them started shaking badly, causing Flash to drop the relic from surprise. Something burst from under their feet, causing them to jump away. They looked at the creature that was slithering from the ground.

"You were saying?" Danny asked sarcastically as they were looking at a hundred foot snake monster with red eyes. The snake roared and fire erupted from its mouth. "Oh great, as if the giant fangs weren't terrifying enough!"

They quickly jumped away to avoid the fire. Danny then flew up towards the head and kicked it, he then fired at the snake. The snake monster stumbled a bit before it swung its giant head towards Danny, sending the halfa crashing on the ground.

"Danny!" Flash exclaimed as the halfa groggily stood up from the crater he just made. Flash then turned around when he heard J'onn scream. His eyes widened when he saw the Martian, who tried to tackle the snake, surrounded with fire. "J'onn!"

He quickly ran towards the Martian and put the flames out. He then looked up and saw the snake firing at them. He quickly used his arms to create two wind tunnels, deflecting the fire back at the snake.

"You're toast!" Flash exclaimed as the snake's head was suddenly on fire.

The snake roared before he shook the flames away. Angered, he charged at Flash, who quickly ran back to the stairs of the ruins. The snake followed Flash as the speedster ran around and all over the snake. Soon, the snake monster was now a bit tied up.

Flash then ran back to the ground and grabbed Danny before running back to J'onn, who was rubbing his head.

"Are you okay," Flash asked J'onn as he put Danny down.

"You get the relic, I'll take care of the rest," J'onn said as he stood up and faced the snake monster.

Flash nodded and dashed towards where the relic fell. Danny watched as the snake untangled itself and charged towards them, fire spitting out from his mouth. Before Danny could defend himself with a Ghost Ray, J'onn gave the snake a mean uppercut on the jaw, sending the snake tumbling towards the ground, out cold.

Flash came back a second later, looking at the unconscious snake monster.

"Remind me not to get on your bad side," Flash commented.

"Though maybe you should have done that ten minutes ago," Danny said, rubbing his head. He then looked at the relic, a cylinder shaped stone with two small legs and two holes on the side. "What's this supposed to be, anyway?"

"Who knows," Flash said as he looked at the relic. "Let's ask Faust once we kick his butt."

"We should get back with Superman and Wonder Woman," J'onn suggested. The three walked back to the Javelin, leaving an unconscious snake monster in front of the ruin.

Just as they were above the trees, they heard a voice through their communicators.

"Is everyone there?" Wonder Woman asked.

"A little banged up, but we're here," Danny replied. "Did you get the relic?"

"We did," Wonder Woman said. "But Batman has found something about Faust. Here are the coordinates. We'll meet you there."

"Got it, thanks," Danny said as they received the coordinates. The call ended as the Javelin flew towards their destination.

Later…

Danny, Flash, J'onn, Wonder Woman, Superman and Batman were inside an apartment room filled with creepy looking artifacts, books and scientific stuff.

"Fascinating," J'onn said as he was looking at the table full of artifacts. "Faust clearly has a passion for learning."

"By passion, do you mean by creepy obsession?" Danny asked, looking at a book of mythology. "This place gives me the creeps. And I'm a ghost."

"Where'd he get stuff?" Flash asked as he picked up a scepter with a giant crystal on the edge. "Warlocks Are Us?"

As he was studying, he didn't noticed an eye opening on top of the crystal. It started glowing when Batman turned around and saw it.

"Don't touch that!" Batman exclaimed, but it was too late; Flash turned around and the scepter fired. Batman quickly duck to avoid the blast.

Danny, who was holding the book and has his back turned, suddenly felt something hot pass through his head, scorching the edge of the book. He was blasted off his feet as the blast hit the wall, scorching it black. He turned his head with wide eyes as he saw the scepter smoking.

"…I'm still here, right?" he asked as he tried to control his beating heart.

"Oops…" Flash said as Batman snatched the scepter out of his hands.

"Don't touch anything!" he exclaimed around the room. "We don't know what kind of powers we're dealing with."

Almost instantly, everyone quickly placed the things they were holding back where they got them and started edging away from the artifacts, which looked more dangerous than ever. Danny gingerly stood up and placed the book back on the table, taking deep breaths to calm himself. He almost died again.

Superman was looking at the scorched wall before turning back to the others.

"So who is this Faust?" he asked. Everyone turned to look at Batman, who pulled something out from his belt.

"Felix Faust was once a respected professor in archeology," he said as he put a picture on the table. In the picture, there was a skinny looking man with a beak like nose, pale blue eyes and black, greasy hair standing in front of Egyptian carvings.

"How'd a smart guy like him turn into a nut job?" Danny asked, looking at Batman.

"He became fascinated with the mystic arts, causing him to be kicked out from the university," Batman replied as he walked towards another table filled with test tubes, vials and a skull with a candle on top. "He sworn revenge on those who mocked him, and several disappeared under mysterious circumstances."

Wonder Woman looked around the room with narrow eyes before she saw something on a shelf.

"I have a pretty good idea on what happened to them," Wonder Woman said as she saw three, shriveled heads that had looks of horrors on their faces attached to the walls. Everyone stared at the heads in shock.

"Eww!" Flash exclaimed in disgust.

"I think I'm gonna hurl," Danny agreed, holding his mouth.

"He's mad," Superman said, trying to calm down.

"It gets worst," Batman said, gaining their attention.

"What could be worse than beheading people and turning their heads to decorations?" Danny exclaimed as they looked at Batman.

"I found his journal," Batman replied, holding a normal looking book. "The entries makes reference to Tartarus."

Lighting flashed from the window as he said that. Wonder Woman's eyes widened in horror as she heard that.

"The Pit of Lost Souls," she said in a fearful tone.

"But isn't that just a myth?" Superman said, looking at Wonder Woman.

"If only it were," Wonder Woman said as she turned around, facing the ground. "Long ago, in ancient times, my mother, Hippolyta, fell in love with a god, Lord Hades."

"When war broke out between the Olympian gods and their ancient foes, the titans, Hades struck a treasonous bargain with the enemy; he would deliver Mount Olympus into the titans' hands. In return, he will be given dominion all over humanity."

"Hades tricked my mother into opening the gates of Olympus to the invading titans. There was a battle that the muses still sing. The gods fought back and eventually prevailed. As punishment for his treachery, Zeus cast Hades into the pit of Tartarus, where he would rule over the dead for all eternity."

"And for her unwitting role Hades' plot, my mother was charged for guarding the gateway to the Underworld. To make sure the gate could never be unlock, its only key was broken up and scattered across the globe."

Wonder Woman turned around and saw the silently shocked expressions on her friends' faces.

"My mother told me that she kept one of the pieces in the temple," she added sadly. "A daily reminder of her eternal shame."

"Talk about a harsh relationship," Danny muttered to Flash.

"Then these relics we've been gathering are parts of a key?" J'onn asked as Superman studied the biggest relic.

"But why would Faust want it?" Flash asked as he grabbed the relic from Superman.

Batman suddenly grabbed the relic from Flash and walked towards the table.

"Only one reason," Batman said as he placed the relics on the table before he started attaching them to one another. Everyone held their breath as they waited for Batman to finish. He then turned around, holding a large, stone key. "He intends to use it."

"Where is this gateway to the Underworld?" Superman asked.

"Beneath Themyscira," Wonder Woman replied.

"Diana, you can't give Faust the key," Superman said, looking at Wonder Woman.

"If I don't, my mother and sisters will remain petrified forever," Wonder Woman said, looking back at them.

"And if you do, it could mean the end of the world," Batman countered. Wonder Woman looked at him before looking down on the ground.

"What are you going to do?" J'onn asked.

Wonder Woman looked up, a defeated look in her eyes.

Themyscira…

Faust was looking at the statue of Hippolyta, smirking at her shocked expression.

"I should thank you for raising such a devoted daughter," Faust said, trailing a finger on her stony face. "She was so eager to cooperate."

"Faust!"

The temple doors suddenly opened and Wonder Woman came bursting in, holding a cloaked object. She landed in front of Faust, who walked towards her.

"Back already?" he said in delight as he held up an hourglass. "And only a few hours to spare. I'm impress. Have you got the relics?"

Wonder Woman replied by taking the cover off the object she was holding, revealing the key. Faust look at it with an excited glint in his eyes.

"First, free my mother," Wonder Woman said. "We had a deal."

"Yes, yes. Of course," Faust said as he held out his hand. There was a purple light and a medallion with Medusa's head appeared. He raised the medallion towards Hippolyta and started chanting.

A second later, Hippolyta turned back to normal, groaning. Wonder Woman walked towards her, handing the key to Faust. She then kneeled next to her mother.

"Mother," Wonder Woman said with relief.

"After three thousand years, the key is finally complete," Faust said, ruining the mother-daughter moment.

"Diana, you didn't?" Hippolyta asked as Wonder Woman glared at Faust.

"Thank you for your assistance," Faust said before he raised his hand, holding the medallion. "But I no longer require your assistance. So, Petro-!"

Suddenly, the medallion was suddenly yanked out from his hand, surprising him.

"What in the-?" he exclaimed when Danny suddenly appeared in front of him.

"Boo," he said before kicking Faust away.

He stumbled back before a red blur ran towards him, tripping him. He fell to the ground face first. Groaning, he looked up and saw Flash smirking at him.

"You're not the only one with an ace on his sleeve," Flash said as Faust stood up.

"What is this!?" Faust demanded before he heard a swishing noise. He looked up and saw Batman swinging towards him and punched him on the face. Faust fell on his back.

"You brought men here?" Hippolyta said in shock, looking at her daughter. "To Themyscira?"

Wonder Woman didn't reply. She just remained silent.

"You really think she'll trust a scum like you?" Batman asked Faust as J'onn and Superman landed beside him, looking down on Faust.

"It's over Faust," Superman said. "Come along quietly."

"Never!" Faust exclaimed as he fired at the three heroes, who quickly jumped away.

Faust quickly stood up and fired a Superman, blasting him towards the wall. Danny flew towards Faust and fired at him. Faust quickly stepped aside and fired at Danny, who made a shield in front of him. The shield shattered and Danny was blasted towards the ceiling.

Faust turned around and saw about to run towards the exit, only to have the Flash in front of him.

"Now you see me, now you don't!" Flash exclaimed as he dashed away, avoiding the magical projectiles that were fired at him. Flash started running towards Faust at high-speed, intending the smash him. Faust then fired at the ground, making the rocks protrude from the ground. He moved aside as Flash tripped on the rocks and tumbled towards a pillar.

Faust was about to finish him off when J'onn bashed him with his shoulder, sending the sorcerer flying. He looked up and fired at J'onn, who turned intangible to let the blast sail pass him. Growling, Faust fired a bigger blast towards J'onn, who was pushed away by Batman before the attack could hit him. Instead, the attack hit the ground, causing it to explode.

They were sent tumbling by the shockwave of the attack. Faust started running towards the exit when a gold lasso was suddenly thrown towards him. He turned around and saw Wonder Woman holding the lasso. Danny flew towards her and helped her pull Faust towards them.

Faust grabbed the lasso and used his magic to shock both Danny and Wonder Woman, causing them to let go of the lasso. Faust smirked as he removed the lasso on his body and grabbed the key he dropped. He walked towards the exit, only to be stopped by J'onn.

"Halt!" he exclaimed.

Faust tried to back over, only to have Batman, Superman and Flash block his way. He shouted another magic spell as he threw some seeds towards the heroes. They were suddenly attacked by giant, thorn vines. Superman got carried away by the plants as Batman pulled out his batarangs to cut the vines around him. Flash picked up a discarded sword, cutting the vines.

"Do you have a bat-weed killer in that belt of yours?" Flash asked as he sliced another vine.

"No," Batman said as he sliced a vine locking on his leg. Suddenly, two vines grabbed his arm and carried him to the roof. Flash tried to help him, but he got snagged as well. J'onn tried to grab Faust, but another vine grabbed his waist and carried him to the roof.

Danny and Wonder Woman groggily stood up and saw their friends getting attack by plants. Wonder Woman grabbed a sword from the ground and flew towards the plants with Danny behind her, his hand glowing brightly.

They started attacking the plants, slashing, ripping and burning them. While they were weed whacking, they didn't notice Faust walking towards Hippolyta.

"Come, your Highness," Faust said as he offered a hand. "We don't want to be late for the grand opening."

Hippolyta glared at him before she pulled a dagger from her belt. She leaped at Faust, only for him to grab her arm and shocked her with his magic, knocking her out.

"Mother!" Wonder Woman exclaimed as she tried to push through the plants. One grabbed her by the arm and pulled her back.

Wonder Woman stared with horror as Faust and her mother disappeared in a cloud of black smoke. Once they were gone, the plants started withering, dropping the captured heroes. Wonder Woman quickly flew towards the place where her mother disappeared; a giant, scorch mark.

"Too late, she's gone," Flash said as they looked at the mark.

"And so is the key," Superman said.

"No…" Wonder Woman said with a worried expression.

"Where could they be?" Danny asked as Batman studied the scorch mark.

"There can only be one possible place they could have gone," Wonder Woman said as she walked around the giant statue of Athena. "Follow me."

They all followed Wonder Woman as she grabbed a torch and walked towards a metal door that was behind the pedestal. She pressed the giant button on it, causing the door to open, revealing stairs.

"Ladies first," Danny said as they looked at the entrance.

Wonder Woman entered first with the rest following her. They just kept walking and walking and walking, but the stairs seemed endless. Flash suddenly smelled something bad as they got lower.

"Ugh…what's that smell?" he asked.

"You don't want to know," Wonder Woman replied.

Soon, they finally reached the bottom. They entered through a stone door and saw the place as just like the island, only dirtier, smellier and less alive. Wonder Woman continued leading them through the stony paves and dusty stairs until they reached their destination; the gateway.

Just as they reached it, they suddenly felt the entire place shake. Their eyes widened when they saw the gates open, revealing a giant, fiery portal. Faust stood in front of the portal, his face filled with victory. Behind him was Hippolyta, shackled on a broken pillar.

Suddenly, a giant shadowy figure appeared from the portal. The figure walked through the door, revealing black and gray armor and a horned helmet.

"Free at last," Hades said as he looked around the room.

"Welcome, Lord Hades," Faust said as he kneeled to the ground. "To honor your return, I brought an offering."

He moved aside and gestured at Hippolyta, who was glaring at the man who broke her heart all those years ago.

"Do my eyes deceived me?" Hades asked as he walked closer to Hippolyta. "Can it be my dearest Hippolyta, here to greet her lord and master on his triumph and return?"

He removed his helmet, revealing a handsome man with wavy black hair and beard, and cruel, cold eyes.

"But you know what I mean," he said as he leaned closer to Hippolyta.

Unknown to them, the heroes were sneaking towards them, hiding behind the pillars, boulders and stalagmites.

"That's Hades?" Danny whispered with a belwildered expression. "I was expecting someone with blue skin, fiery hair and a fork tongue."

Suddenly, Hades grabbed Hippolyta's face and leaned forward to kiss her. Before he could touch her lips, Faust got in their way.

"My lord," he said. "I held me end of the bargain; I delivered you freedom and the Amazon queen. Now where's my reward?"

While they were talking, Wonder Woman silently crept towards her mother, grabbing a sword from a skeleton's hand.

"Of course," Hades said as he lifted his hand, firing it up. "Ultimate knowledge."

Faust eyes shined brightly, looking like a kid receiving a large candy bar. Hades then touched Faust's forehead, but something went wrong. Faust suddenly started withering away, aging very fast.

"Ultimately, pain and suffering are all men will ever know," Hades said with a cruel smirk as Faust became an old man.

"Good Lord," Superman said as he saw what happened.

"If that's ultimate knowledge, he should have stuck to school," Danny muttered before he turned invisible and flew up the stalagmites.

Suddenly, Wonder Woman jumped up from behind the pillar and swung her sword towards the shackle, breaking them. Hades was too surprised to do anything as mother and daughter ran away from him.

"Hurry, mother!" Wonder Woman exclaimed, pulling her mother with her.

"Hippolyta, you didn't tell me you had a daughter," Hades said as he watched the two of them run before he took a deep breath and fired at them. They quickly jumped behind a boulder, blocking the fireball.

"I wonder if she's as loving as her mother," Hades commented as he appeared behind them with a smirk.

Suddenly, Superman charged at punched Hades on the face, causing him to stumble a bit. Superman charged again, but Hades swatted him aside. The Man of Steel was sent flying towards the pillar.

As Superman fell, Hades suddenly caught a beeping batarang. He looked at it curiously before it exploded. Batman threw another batarang towards Hades, who didn't have a scratch on him. The god just swatted the batarang away, exploding behind him.

Flash appeared in front of Hades, punching at him with lighting fast fists, running around him. Annoyed, Hades breathed fire, causing Flash to run away from him.

"Whoa!" he exclaimed as he dodged the fire. "Someone get this guy a breath mint!"

While he was aiming at Flash, J'onn kicked him from above, sending him crashing through the ground. Suddenly, there was a burst of fire and J'onn was blasted away. Hades stood up from the crater, dusting his shoulders.

"Timber!"

Before Hades could react, Danny cut the largest stalagmite above Hades, sending it crashing towards the god.

"Take that, old man!" Danny shouted through the smoke. Suddenly, a torrent of fire was flying towards Danny. Surprised, the half ghost quickly swerved to dodge the flame before he landed on the ground.

"Well, what do we have here?" Hades said as he appeared in front of Danny, who was surprised to see him there. "You're an interesting one."

Danny aimed a punch on Hades hand, but the god caught his arm with and lifted Danny from the ground.

"Let me go!" Danny exclaimed as he kicked Hades o the stomach, but it did little effect on him.

"You smell like the dead, but you're also alive," Hades mused, causing Danny to stop dead. "Not even the gods can do this? What are you?"

"I'm a Phantom!" Danny exclaimed as he fired a Ghost Ray. Surprised, Hades was blasted off his feet, letting Danny go. "Wow that actually work."

His victory was short lived when he got blasted by a fireball. Hades stood up, wincing a bit from the surprise attack.

Wonder Woman watched as most of her friends got beaten. She pulled her mother up from her feet.

"Are you alright?" Wonder Woman asked.

"Yes," Hippolyta said as she snatched her arm back. "But Hades must be stopped!"

She grabbed a discarded shield and sword before charging at Hades, with Wonder Woman next to her. Hades was starting to lose his patience.

"You fools dare to challenge a god!" he exclaimed as fire burned in his eyes. He stomped his feet on the ground, creating a small shake. Everyone started looking around the place as the entire room shook.

"Uh oh," Flash commented as dust and rocks rained from the ceiling. Suddenly, hands appeared on the ground and grabbed his legs.

Everyone looked around and saw dead soldiers rising from the ground and grabbing them with their withering hands.

"Behold the fate of all heroes!" Hades exclaimed as an army of dead soldiers appeared in front of the heroes.

"Get them off!" Flash exclaimed as dead hands started grabbing him.

"Hang on!" Danny exclaimed, firing at the undead.

He flew towards Flash and blasted the zombies off him. He then grabbed the speedster's arm and carried him up. Flash was removing an arm that was clutching at his throat.

"Ugh…gross!" Flash exclaimed as he threw the arm away. "Do you fight these every day?"

"No, usually, they're grosser," Danny replied before flying back to the others, who were faring well against the odds. But Danny knew they will soon be overwhelmed. "Get ready for drop off!"

Flash nodded as Danny threw him towards an army of zombies. Flash spun around so fast that he made a small whirlwind, sucking the zombies inside the storm. When he stopped spinning, it was raining body parts.

Just as Danny was about to charge at Hades, he saw a torrent of fire coming towards him. He quickly turned intangible, causing the fire to go through him. He looked down and saw Batman and J'onn got taken out by the explosion.

Hades then fired at Superman, who was too busy fighting zombies. Before Superman could react, he got blasted towards the pillar, causing it to break. Flash, who was near the pillar, tried to dodge it, but he tripped and got hit by the pillar.

"Bow to me, mortals!" Hades exclaimed, seeing how most of them were already down.

"Darn it," Danny muttered as he saw his friends get beaten. "I need a plan!"

As he was thinking, Hades suddenly screamed in pain. He looked at the god of the dead and saw Faust firing a spell on him. As he watched, Hades' appearance started changing; his skin became gray, his teeth became rat-like, his eyes turned orange, horns grew from his head, his ears became longer and he had three tongues.

"Now you see his true face," Hippolyta said as the spell stopped.

Hades turned around and growled before firing at the weakened Faust. The sorcerer got blasted away, just at the edge of the gate.

Wonder Woman and Hippolyta leaped at Hades while he was distracted, but the god quickly turned around, swatted Wonder Woman away and grabbed Hippolyta by the arm.

"Don't be shy, my love," Hades said as he lifted Hippolyta closer. Suddenly, a green ray hit Hades on top of his head, causing him to let go of Hippolyta.

"She's not shy, dude," Danny said as he floated above Hades. "She's repulsed. I mean, who wouldn't after looking at you?"

Hades roared and fired at Danny, who quickly dodged it.

"Ha! You miss!" Danny taunted, causing Hades to growl.

While Danny was making him angry, Hippolyta ran towards her daughter, who was groggily standing. She helped her up and looked back at Hades, who was trying to hit Danny. She then noticed the portal…

"The key!" she exclaimed. "We must destroy the key! It is our only hope."

"Right," Wonder Woman said as she flew towards the key.

Hades noticed her and was about to stop her when Danny blasted his face with a Ghost Ray.

"Enough!" Hades roared as he quickly swatted Danny away, taking the Ghost Boy by surprise. Hippolyta charged forwards, swinging her sword, only to have Hades broke it with one swiped. He then grabbed Hippolyta by the arms and pushed her to the ground.

"You are mine, and mine alone, Hippolyta!" Hades exclaimed, looking at her with the cruel eyes.

"Diana! Destroy the key!" Hippolyta shouted.

Hades turned around and saw Wonder Woman struggling to remove the key from the lock. Hades slapped Hippolyta on the face, knocking her out. He then ran towards Wonder Woman, who finally removed the key.

"No!"

"Back to the pit, you monster!" Wonder Woman shouted as she threw the key to the ground, shattering it.

There was a bright light and the portal suddenly started sucking everything in. Hades dug his claws on the ground as Wonder Woman suddenly tumbled in the air. She quickly gabbed on to the lock, clutching on it for dear life.

Batman, who was flying through the air, quickly shot a grappled on a steady pillar to keep himself from getting sucked. Flash ran and ran as fast as he can, jumping over debris that were flying towards him. Superman and J'onn were holding onto a rock, digging their heel on the ground. Danny phased through the ground, trying not to get sucked in.

The zombie soldiers were getting sucked towards the portal, as well as Faust, who turned into dust. Hippolyta, who was still out cold, was flying towards the portal. Hades noticed and caught her in the air. He put her on her shoulders and started clawing his way back. A stray pillar suddenly hit him, causing him to lose his grip. Hades and Hippolyta were flying towards the portal. Wonder Woman looked up and saw her mother going towards the portal.

"Mother!" she exclaimed as she jumped up and grabbed her mother by the arm. She then dug her nails to the ground as they were almost an edge away from the portal. "I got you, mother!"

Suddenly, Hades grabbed on to Hippolyta and started climbing from the portal. Wonder Woman clenched her teeth, feeling as if her arms will be ripped off.

Just as Hades was about to grab Wonder Woman's arm, a green ray hit him on the face, causing him to let go.

"HIPPOLYTA!" Hades screamed as he fell back to his prison.

Wonder Woman looked up and saw Danny, who had his legs dug on the ground, grinning at her.

"Some people just can't accept rejection," Danny said as he grabbed Wonder Woman's arm. "Now hold on!"

Wonder Woman nodded as she slung her mother's arm across her neck. She then grabbed Danny's other arm. The half-ghost started walking away from the portal, using every bit of strength he has.

"Almost there…" Danny said through gritted teeth as the gates started closing. Just as the gates were almost upon them, Danny shot out from the ground like a bullet, pulling the two Amazonians with him.

He landed on the ground face first, his arms throbbing painfully. Behind him, Wonder Woman was making sure her mother was alright. The others ran towards them, Flash appearing next to Danny.

"You okay there, kid?" Flash asked as he lifted Danny up by the shoulder.

"I'm fine," Danny said, groaning. "Almost died again and can't feel my arms, but totally fine."

"Ugh…" Hippolyta said as she opened her eyes, looking at her daughter's worried face. "Is he gone?

"What did you ever see in him?" Wonder Woman asked, looking at her mother.

"Ancient history," Hippolyta said as slowly sat up, holding her head. "Thank Athena it's finally over."

"Is it? What about our Amazon sisters?" Wonder Woman asked.

Everyone quickly returned on top of the island, looking at the petrified Amazons. The night was orange, a sign that the day is near. Hippolyta stared at the statues with grief as Wonder Woman tried to comfort her.

"Is there nothing we can do for them?" J'onn asked sadly.

Danny's eyes suddenly widened as he grabbed something in his pocket.

"How about we use this?" Danny asked, pulling out the medallion with Medusa's face on it.

"But only Faust knew the spell," J'onn said.

Before Danny could come with another idea, the sun started rising. Suddenly, Danny yelped and dropped the amulet, which was glowing.

"What's wrong?" Flash asked as Danny blew his hand.

"That thing burned me!"

They all watched as the medallion glowed as bright as the sun, temporarily blinding them. Once the light died, everyone was surprised to see the petrified Amazonians turning back to normal.

"Okay, what just happened?" Flash asked as he looked around the moving women.

"Faust's enchantment could only last as long as he wield it," Batman deduced.

"So now that he's gone, the spell is broken," Wonder Woman said as she and Hippolyta hugged. "It's a miracle."

"Athena be praised," Hippolyta said as tears of joy leaked from her eyes.

Later…

Batman, Superman, Danny Phantom, J'onn and Flash stood in front of Hippolyta and Wonder Woman. On their sides were Amazons, forming ranks. They were on the sandy shores of Themyscira, having an award ceremony.

"…And for your brave assistance against the sorcerer Faust, and the mad god, Hades, you have earned our eternal gratitude," Hippolyta said, finishing her speech.

"You hear that?" Flash said, smirking at the guard right next to him. "Eternal gratitude. After she hands out the medals, what say you and me take a private tour of paradise?"

The guard just narrowed her eyes at him.

"She wants me," Flash said to J'onn and Danny.

"Indeed," J'onn said.

"Don't encourage him, J'onn," Danny said with a chuckle. "He might live longer if you didn't."

"Before you leave," Hippolyta continued. "Please accept these royal offerings."

Wonder Woman walked down from her mother's side, holding a golden wreath. Next to her, four guard were also holding the wreaths, handing them towards the heroes. Wonder Woman handed the wreath to Danny, who accepted it with a smile.

"You are all truly heroes," Hippolyta said.

"Thank you, your Majesty," Superman said with a bow.

"Awesome," Danny said as he put it on.

"Cool," Flash said as he put it on the wrong way.

Wonder Woman smiled at her friends, feeling happy for them.

"Diana, Princess of Themyscira," Hippolyta said, gaining Wonder Woman's attention. Everyone became silent as they waited for what the queen will say. "Stand forward."

Wonder Woman stood up straight, facing her mother and bowed at her.

"As your mother, I am overjoyed that you have finally returned home," Hippolyta said, causing Wonder Woman to perk up a bit. "But, as your queen, I'm obliged to uphold the laws of Themyscira. And in bringing these outsiders on our island, you have broken our most sacred law. This cannot be overlooked."

Wonder Woman and everyone's expression suddenly changed.

"But mother," Wonder Woman said.

Hippolyta raised her hand, silencing Wonder Woman.

"Diana, I have no choice," Hippolyta said as she stood from her chair. "It is with a heavy heart that I must exile you from Themyscira."

"What!?" Superman exclaimed as Wonder Woman's eyes widened with horror.

"You can't do that!" Danny exclaimed, walking forward.

"She just saved your life-hey!" Flash agreed as he stepped forward.

They stopped talking when a dozen spears were pointed dangerously close at them.

"Please, she did all this to rescue you," Superman said, stepping forward. "You can't punish her for that."

"No, mother's right," Wonder Woman said, surprising everyone. "I did break the law, and I humbly accept your judgement."

Wonder Woman and Hippolyta sadly stared at each other's eyes.

"The Fates are against us, mother," Wonder Woman said as tears appeared on her eyes. "Goodbye."

With that, she turned away from her mother and walked away.

"Present arms!" one of the guards shouted. They all lifted their spears, making a passage to Wonder Woman.

Everyone started walking away, except Flash.

"That's it?" he exclaimed, looking at his friends. "You're just gonna walk away? This is so bogus-!"

Batman suddenly grabbed his arm and leaned next to his ear.

"Don't make this harder than it already is," he whispered to the speedster before letting go.

Flash then reluctantly followed the others back to the Javelin. On the hangar doors, Wonder Woman stood in front of the steps, reluctant to take another step. J'onn put a comforting hand on her shoulder. Wonder Woman, with a determined expression on her face, entered the Javelin.

Once everyone was there, the Javelin took off towards the horizon. Wonder Woman looked at her home one last time.

"Goodbye…"

Danny looked at Wonder Woman before he placed a hand on her hand. She looked up and saw Danny smiling at her.

"You still have us, Wonder Woman," he said, everyone then looked at Wonder Woman and smiled, except for Batman. She looked at them before smiling, knowing she still has a family outside Themyscira.

Wow, this is the longest chapter I've made in a while. Hope you guys like it. Next chapter, the moment we've been waiting for, the Girl of Steel will met the Ghost Boy! Again, I want to thank you for giving me ideas about the pairing. So no need to fear about changing the pairing. Anyway, time to review reply!

Danny angel- Thank you for liking it!

nightmaster000- Yeah. She's one of those characters. Too bad she chose to be bad. If she was reluctant, she would have made an awesome hero.

Coppa-Cola- Thanks! I'll keep up the work.

The Keeper of Worlds- Yes they will!

Engineer4Ever-Thanks! Hope you'll like the future chapters!

RHatch89- Thank you!

War-Torn Hero- Thank you for the idea! I'll probably used it for the DPxSG chapters in the story!

ShatteredPrime1994- Thanks for the idea! I'll be sure to use it in one of the DPxSG chapters!

psychicgirl32- Thanks for the suggestion, but I'm fine now!

BLACK MAS- Thanks for the kind words! I'm blushing over here!

allietheepic7- Not soon, but he will show up.

KodiakWolfe13- Thanks! Hope you weren't waiting long. I just think the pairing is interesting in the stories. But yeah, that's just me.

Looking4Misteria- Thanks! Dani will appear in the JLU arc. Sam and Tucker will only be civilians. And that's all. Hope you enjoy the chapter!

vampireharry the 2- Thank you!

Dragonscorch- Thanks!

Guest- Don't worry, the pairing is safe!

james phantom- Yeah, but Vlad is an important rich guy, so he doesn't need Lex's money.

DC fan- What an interesting fun fact.

animegal1357- Don't worry, there will be a chapter like that. ;)

Inviso-Al- Hope you weren't waiting long!

Locobat12345- I'm going with the second one!

Jmw- Sorry, but I can't fix it anymore! Sorry!

newboy- Yeah, that would be a worst case scenario…the even worst case scenario is Danny becoming the ultimate villain after Vlad killed the league, causing him to lose morality and turning into a crazed monster…Also, Darkseid needed the anti-life equation to probably erase life, which is somewhat different from death, but he could be interested in making half-dead super soldiers…you just gave me two plot ideas in one big review. Thank you!

Guest1- Don't worry, the pairing will remain the same!

Bomberman11- Thanks! Also, the pairing will remain the same, so it's good.

Super-banana321- I won't. And thanks for the idea about Christmas! Can't wait to use it!

Dante C. Emerys- Don't worry, I will make some original chapters.

kidcraxy- Not yet.

Lord Jace- I will, don't worry!

Phew! Finally done. I need some shut eyes. I typed this chapter in just one day! So yeah, kinda tired. Hope you guys like this chapter! See you later!
