Naruto woke up and found himself standing in the middle of wasteland. He looked around and tried to remember what happened to him.

Naruto unconsciously touched his neck and gasped when he felt a surge of dark chakra coming from his neck. The same dark chakra that belongs to Uchiha Izumi. Suddenly,
"Welcome, my young self."
Naruto turned around and encountered an elder and muscular man with short white spiky hair, unique patterned Mangyekō Sharingan, three whiskers mark on each of his cheek and pale skin, paler than the moon itself.
He wears black sleeveless armour with golden accent and golden dragon thin line design over black high-collared and form-fitting bodysuit, golden shin guard and dark boots.
"You..."
"Yes, it is I.. The one that appeared in your dream. The dream where I stood on top of one-eyed beast with ten tails... Beside the white haired woman that proud of me."
Naruto clenched his fist tightly and took his fighting stance as his activated his Mangyekō Sharingan, earning a laugh from the man in armour.
"You dare to challenge me? You dare to challenge yourself?"
Naruto didn't answer instead he dashed towards his future self and jumped to deliver a kick but his future self blocked it and sent a jab to his chest but the hit caused Naruto to burst into electricity and electrocuted his future self but to no avail as his future self is a clone too.
"Where is he.."
"Here."
Turning around, Naruto received a powerful kick to his gut then he was sent to the air by an uppercut, he quickly recovered and expelled a blazing fire ball at his future self but,
"Fool."
Extending his right arm forward, Future Naruto made the fire ball suspended in mid-air and destroyed it with a shockwave, shocking his younger self who quickly landed on the ground and created seven Kage Bunshin.
"It's futile to fight me!"
The seven clones attacked Future Naruto at every direction but all of their punches and kicks were easily avoided by the man in armour before they all were destroyed via a shockwave. Extending his right arm forward once again, Future Naruto made his younger self pulled towards him and choked the genin, squeezing his neck tightly.
"Foolish boy. Do you know why there is no one can defeat me? It is because I was born to be a God!"
"Amenotejikara!!"
Swapping the place with his future self, Naruto slammed Future Naruto to the ground and raised his hand as he created a giant Rasengan.
"Chōōdama Rasengan!!"
Slamming the ultra gigantic Rasengan to his future self, Naruto infused more of his chakra into the jutsu, making it more larger and powerful until it exploded.
When the dust were gone, the Chosen King quickly ducked to avoid a shuriken-shaped Rasengan and Shushin quickly to avoid a flaming dragon.
"How nostalgic. So that's how weak I used to be."
"What the-"
"It is time for me to show you a bit of my true power."
"!!"
"Senpō : Ranton Kōga!! (Sage Art : Storm Style Light Fang)"
Naruto managed to dodge a sharp, thin stream of light from the mouth of Future Naruto but the jutsu left him a large deep cut on his right cheek. Then, Naruto sensed his future self behind him and quickly turned around but received a powerful punch that broke several of his teeth.
"Senpō : Oniton Ikari no Ma Ō!! (Sage Art : Demon Style Wrath of Demon King)"
Naruto received a powerful kick to his chin that sent him to the air. Then, his future self appeared above him and slammed his right fist that coated with demonic chakra to Naruto's right cheek, sending him to the ground.
As he slowly rose up, his future self grabbed his hair and yanked it upward. Naruto summoned Sword of the Father and Sword of the Wise to cut down Future Naruto but countless of chains burst out from the ground and wrapped Naruto's limbs and neck tightly.
"It is useless to fight me let alone kill me. I am you and you are me. I am the Greatest Calamity and you will be the Greatest Calamity." said Future Naruto to Naruto who glaring hardly at him.
"You lying. Tobirama-jiji told me that I am the Chosen King!!"
"And you believe that old fool? Did he tell you about how did your pathetic father survived from the Shinigami after using that sealing jutsu?!"
Silence.
"Yoriichi took something precious from you. It is because of him, I learnt the truth that I am the Greatest Calamity, the ruler of the world and the God among the Gods."
Still glaring hardly at Future Naruto, Naruto asked, "And what about the Chosen King?"
His question caused Future Naruto to laugh.
"My young self, the Chosen King was just a fake hope for the weaklings. There is no Chosen King. Only the Greatest Calamity. I shall tell you the true prophecy that cost your childhood but it is best for you to find it by yourself."
"I will not become the Greatest Calamity. That was meant for Uchiha Izumi!"
Future Naruto laughed and created a portal before gazed at Naruto.
"You are wrong. The Greatest Calamity or should I said the Greatest Calamities were meant for us."
Naruto stunned to hear what Future Naruto said and tried to say something but he was kicked into the portal, leaving his future self to chuckle as his throne rose from the ground.
"We will meet soon, my young self." said Future Naruto as he sat down on his throne.
"!!"
Naruto woke up and found himself inside a cave, laying near a burning firewood. He slowly rose up and looked around before touched his right cheek.
No cut that he received from his fight with his future self.
But was that a dream or real?
Naruto couldn't tell it as he came out from the cave and saw a high-Kage level barrier that protecting him from the enemy.
'Did I do this? No I didn't... I couldn't even do a high-jonin level barrier... But then... Who did it?' thought Naruto as he sat on the ground and stared at the dark sky with stars. 'Maybe I was dreaming but it felt... Real...'
Deciding to ignore what just happened, Naruto went back to the cave and laid on the ground, thinking about what his future self told him.
"Something precious..."
Soon, the sun rose and our main protagonist woke up from his slumber. Naruto came out from the cave and witnessed the barrier that protecting him disappeared into thin air.
"Time to search for them."
Sensing the chakra of Satsuki and Yakumo, Naruto smirked when he not only detect them but also Team Shikamaru and Team Shino.
But his smirk became frown when he detected three unknown presence. Quickly, he dashed towards his friends and arrived just in time to save Satsuki from a silver short wavy haired kunoichi.
"N-Naruto.."
Putting down Satsuki gently, Naruto stared at the kunoichi that giving him a seductive smirk. Her crimson eyes staring at his sapphirine blue eyes as her two teammates appeared at her sides.
She wears white crop tank top with black tight high waist leather pants and a pair of black boots with red soles. In addition, she wears a star pendant necklace, a pair of dark gloves with metal plate on the back, a pair of black gauntlets with three silver blades attached to each of the gauntlets, a single pouch on her right hip clipped onto it via a belt and a tantō strapped to her back.
"Hirai Ryujin from Hoshigakure."
"Naruto."
Ryujin smiled and then gestured her teammates to introduce themselves to Naruto.
"Kusanagi Zangetsu."
Zangetsu is a boy with shoulder-length spiky brown hair and black bangs and crimson eyes. He has a scar across his right eye, left cheek and jaw. He wears red jacket that reached below his waist over white form-fitting shirt, white knee-length pants and a pair of grey shinobi sandals.
The jacket has black hoodie with black stars design on left sleeve, black skulls on right sleeve and a star design on the back. The pants has black 星 kanji on the left. He has a pouch on his left hip, a tantō on his back above his buttocks and a storage on his right calf.
"Orochi."
Orochi is a female with pale-skin, long soft-black hair and purple eyes with slitted pupils. She wears a white hoodie over black mesh shirt, black tight ripped shorts and a pair of black lace up boots.
The hoodie has violet 蛇 kanji on the left breast with violet snake on the back. She wears a pair of violet reptilian gloves and has a pouch on her right hip.
And also, the three of them wears Hoshi forehead protector (star symbol) around their head.
"Say, Naruto-kun... Are these your friends?"
Naruto looked at his friends that are exhausted and injured before clenched his fist tightly and knelt down beside Satsuki.
"Did they hurt you?"
"Y-Yes. They were demanding our scroll and your location..."
His location? That's weird.
"I'm sorry."
Satsuki looked at Naruto with a shock face and watched him summoned Hakai from thin air. She smiled when she heard he said,
"Anyone who hurt my friends will die by my hands!"
Naruto charged towards the three Hoshi-nin as his Hakai engulfed in flames.
"Hm?"
"Obito, are you alright?"
Obito looked at Kakashi and rubbed the back of his head sheepishly.
"Ah! It's nothing much! Maybe I just worry about Naruto." said Obito before he picked up the pieces of broken plate that he accidentally dropped it earlier. A waitress soon came to Obito and helped him clean the broken plate. "Thank you."
"You have so much faith in Naruto, aren't you?"
Obito looked at Kakashi and gave him a serious face, making the one eyed-jonin closed his Icha Icha.
"Tell me Kakashi, why did you neglect him? Why did you favour Menma than him?"
Kakashi looked down and sadly said,
"To be honest. I don't know why I neglect Naruto and favour Menma than him. Whenever I tried to talk him, there's something that will make me afraid and my instinct told me to run away from him."
Obito looked at Kakashi before finished his drink and stared at the outside of the bar.
He once confronted Minato and Kushina about them abandoned Naruto and asked them why and their answers were same as Kakashi.
But why?
Why will they feel afraid and their instinct told them to run away from him?
Just why?
"Kaminari no Kokyū : Ichi no Kata : Hekireki Issen!! (Breath of the Lightning : First Form : Thunderclap and Flash)."
Zangetsu tightened his grip onto the handle of his katana and dashed forward Naruto before slashed at him with incredible speed but luckily Naruto managed to avoid it by Kawarimi with a tree and noticed Hirai running at him.
"Mizu no Kokyū : Ni no Kata : Mizuguruma!! (Breath of the Water Style : Second Form : Water Wheel)."
Hirai jumped and spun vertically forward in the air while releasing a flowing attack in circular motion but Naruto counterattacked it with,
"Hinokami Kagura : Retsujitsu Kōkyō!! (Dance of the Fire God : Scorching Crimson Mirror)."
Naruto unleashed two horizontal slashes that protected him from the technique and kicked Ryujin away. He was about to attack Orochi when he noticed that Zangetsu and Ryujin were staring at him with a horror face.
"Ry-Ryujin.. Is that..."
"No... Way... Orochi! Zangetsu! Let's retreat!!"
Naruto and his friends watched the three Hoshi-nin vanished into a burst of light, leaving everyone including himself to confuse about them. He made Hakai faded into thin air as Satsuki and Yakumo came to his sides.
"Naruto... Are you okay?" asked Satsuki to Naruto who gave her a sharp nod.
"Do you need help?" Naruto shook his head at Yakumo and looked at the direction where the trio Hoshi-nin disappeared.
"Let's just go to the tower." said Naruto to his teammates as he walked towards Shikamaru. "Shika, thanks a lot."
"Troublesome. Let's just get to the tower. I want to finish this test as soon as possible."
Shikamaru and the others soon departed to the tower and once they arrived at the destination, they saw a message written on one of the pillars.
Without Heaven.
"Must be talking about our scrolls." said Choji to Shikamaru who gave him a sharp nod.
Naruto caught his team's Heaven scroll that Yakumo threw and together opened it with Shikamaru and Shino, causing smoke to come out in which made them took their fighting stance, in case something bad happens to them.
But once the smoke were gone, turns out it was Iruka who was being summoned. He looked at his once students with a confuse face before realised that they opened their Heaven scroll.
"Iruka-sensei? What are you doing at here?" asked Ino to the academy instructor who gave her a smile.
"I am here to congratulate to those who passed the second phase of the Chūnin Exam!" replied Iruka happily to Ino.
"D-Does that mean..."
"That's right Hinata! Congratulation, you all have passed the second phase of the exam!"
"YAHOOO!! WE PASS THE EXAM!!" Kiba cheered loudly which made everyone agreed as they jumping around except for Naruto and Shikamaru who gave each other a smirk. "One more step and I will be a chūnin!"
"I can't wait to go back home and eat." said Choji who rubbed his belly, earning a laughter from Ino.
"I am proud to see my students are one step left to become a chūnin. Remember, no matter where you are or what you do, always make your family and friends proud of you. Once again, congratulation!"
Suddenly, Naruto screamed in agony as the curse mark seal spread over his body with blood ruptured from his body as well as black electrical shocks that made him lost his consciousness.
The last thing that he saw was his friends rushing at him while screaming his name.
"How is he, Tsunade?"
Tsunade released a heavy sigh and looked at Minato and Kushina with a sad face. She then shifted her attention to Naruto before stared at Minato back to answer his question.
"Your son is fine."
Both Minato and Kushina smiled to hear that but they noticed that Tsunade is frowning, making them looked at each other before Kushina asked her what's wrong.
"Tsunade? What's wrong?"
"He... He has the Cursed Seal of Heaven."
Kushina gasped while Minato widened his eyes, unable to believe that their son, the son that they abandoned for the sake of his siblings, has the Cursed Seal of Heaven!
"H-How? How could he has the Cursed Mark?!" asked a terrifying Kushina to Tsunade as she started to cry.
Minato looked at Tsunade and could only said two words,
"Uchiha Izumi."
"Tsunade!"
The three of them turned around and saw Tobirama. Tsunade went to Tobirama's side and explained what happened. After hearing the story, the retired Kage was so mad that he tried his best to not leak his killer intent, fearing that it will affect his apprentice.
"Dammit! Minato-"
"Yes, I know Tobirama-sama. I already had a meeting about this and we agreed that we don't want to cancel the exam. On top of that, I felt something wrong." said Minato to Tobirama.
"What do you mean Minato-kun?"
Minato looked at Kushina and said, "For the first time, Kumo and Iwa sent their best team to participate the exam. Even Ame, Kusa and Hoshi did the same thing! Taki however chose to not send any team for unknown reasons."
Tobirama crossed his arms and said, "I received a letter from the son of an old friend of mine that one of the Suna kid might be a jinchūriki."
Minato clenched his fist tightly and said, "A war. For years, Suna suffered a series of budget cuts by Wind Daimyō, wearing the village and thus rerouting the mission to Konoha."
"What are you going to do, Minato?" asked Tobirama to Minato but he didn't receive any answer from the genius.
Location : Konoha's Graveyard
"It's been a while isn't it, Uchiha Shisui?"
Izumi looked at the tombstone of Shisui and smirked as she stomped it. She then said,
"I have marked the boy and in a matter of time... He will be mine. His soul, his heart and his body will all be mine."
Izumi paused and chuckled.
"Because he and I are the Greatest Calamities."
Timeskip : Two days later
Location : Hospital
"Ngh.."
Naruto slowly opened his eyes and saw nothing but blur. He blinked his eyes several times and tried to get up but someone pushed him back to the bed.
"Rest."
"Tobirama-jiji?"
Naruto rubbed his eyes and saw the person that pushed him is Tobirama. The retired Kage gave him a smile and handed him over a cup of water which he took and drank the water.
"How long was I out?"
"A week. Since most of the participants were exhausted and injured, Minato decided to push the preliminary match to the next week."
Naruto raised his eyebrow, "Preliminary?"
"The amount of those who passed the survival test is bigger than Minato and instructor expected. So, in order to reduce the amount, Minato decided preliminary match will be the third phase of the chūnin exam."
Naruto yawned, uninterested with what he heard. He rubbed his neck and widened his eyes.
"The Cursed Seal of Heaven. Izumi gave it to you, am I right?"
Naruto nodded his head and looked away, unable to say anything as he felt angry, sad and afraid. Angry that he lost to Izumi, sad that he made Tobirama worry and afraid that...
Afraid that what his future self told him is true.
"Naruto, look at me."
Naruto snapped back to the reality and looked at Tobirama who rubbed his chin.
"I am worry, Naruto. I am really worry about you when I heard that Izumi marked you. What-"
"Jiji, there's nothing going to happen to me. Trust me."
Tobirama looked at Naruto and widened his eyes when he saw his elder brother smiling at him. The elder Senju smirked and crossed his arms.
"If you say so.."
Done, I am so sorry for late updating the story. Due to the pandemic with my final year exam is coming and public holiday were reduced, I will be late update the story.
And also, the death of my lovely cat (despite being an animal), greatly affect me since the cat and I have close relationship.
