Sorry for the delay. With midterms over, I thought there would be more time, but I was wrong. Oh well. Get ready for an exciting chapter! Joker meets Plasmius! Enjoy another, hopefully, good chapter!
Chapter 14: Joker Specter
Vlad was in his mansion, grinning smugly at the newly and better build house. After his mansion was destroyed because he forgot to change the Ecto-Filter that caused his Ghost Portal to explode, he had to wait weeks to rebuild his mansion, and more importantly, his lab.
Though he was busy, he wasn't out of the loop. After escaping the Behemoth's stomach, through means better left unsaid, he had heard that Danny and the other heroes has formed a group called the Justice League.
He was angry that the Little Badger was in the company of older heroes, people that could guide him. But he wasn't that worried. As long as he was the only halfa in existence, he will be the only person Danny could relate to.
Besides, this Justice League would make great pawns on his conquest for world domination.
"Now to check out my new, better and much more expensive than my last mansion," Vlad sighed with a grin as he looked at his bigger halls. As he was about to check the rest of the mansion, his doorbell rang. "Now what?"
He opened the door and saw two of the construction workers, one of them holding a clipboard.
"Yes?" Vlad asked impatiently.
"We just need ya ta sign the papers, V-Man," the shorted one said, shoving the clipboard on Vlad's face. Before he could react, the clipboard exploded, sending Vlad flying.
"Good work, Harley!" the construction worker exclaimed as he removed his hat, revealing the Joker.
"Thanks, Mistah J!" a dazed and soot-covered Harley said as she fell face first in the mansion. Joker walked in the mansion and closed the door. He then ripped his clothes off, revealing his purple suit.
He turned when he saw Vlad standing up, holding his head.
"Impressive," Joker said as he skipped walked towards Vlad. "Not many people could stand up after getting bombed on the face. What's your secret? You got an iron skull under that face? Or are you a robot?"
"Why…are you…here?" Vlad asked, holding his face.
"Oh I was just in the neighborhood when I saw all that cool, gizmo toys you had under your house!" Joker explained as he laughed. "So I thought, why not, and here I am!"
"And you're going to wish you aren't," Vlad said as he blasted Joker off his feet, sending him to a wall. Surprised, Joker looked and watched as black rings traveled on his body, turning him into a vampire-like creature with blue skin, red eyes, fangs and a devil horn-styled hair.
"Nice trick," Joker said as he grabbed something in his jacket. "What's next, a rabbit out of a hat?"
He pulled out a rubber chicken and threw it at Vlad, who just turned intangible. The chicken exploded, destroying the ground.
"I just had that fix!" Vlad exclaimed as he glared at Joker.
"You're just like that Phantom kid," Joker said, mused. "All spooky and stuff. Are you related?"
"In a way, yes," Vlad said as his hands glowed with pink energy. "Now, get out of my home!"
He fired at the clone, who jumped to the side. Joker kept dodging to avoid getting blasted. He then noticed the hole his rubber chicken made. With a grin, he jumped to the wall and waved at Vlad.
"Quinn, be a good little girl and keep our friend company. I got to check on the merchandise," Joker said before diving into the hole.
"You got it, pudding," a voice behind Vlad said. He turned and was whacked by a giant mallet. He slammed into his portrait and saw Harley wielding a giant mallet. "Let's have a bang, Vladdy."
She swung her mallet to Vlad, who turned intangible. She created a crater from where Vlad is before she got blasted to a bookshelf, getting hit on the head by the books about knitting and ghosts.
Vlad then phased through the ground to stop the Joker. When he got to his lab, he got blasted by one of his weapons. Groaning, Vlad he looked at Joker, holding a Plasmius Ecto Bazooka, designed to weaken Phantom.
"I am loving my new toy!" Joker exclaimed, holding the smoking cannon. He was then putting on some gauntlets that were cackling with electricity. "Oh, sparky!"
He grabbed Vlad and shocked him with the gauntlets, forcing Vlad to turn back to Vlad Masters. He then threw Vlad to a table, breaking some beakers and test tubes. Vlad groaned as Joker started messing with his equipment.
"Oooh! What's this!?" Joker said as he saw the Ghost Portal. He opened the doors and saw that it was empty. He started pressing the button, but nothing happened. "Oh poo! It doesn't do anything."
He walked in the portal and noticed that it was unplugged. He picked up the plug and socket and connected them.
"No, get out!" Vlad exclaimed as he noticed what Joker was about to do. When the portal was plug, there was a flash of green light and Joker was bombarded with ectoplasm.
He shouted in pain as he felt ectoplasm invade his very body, merging with his DNA. Soon, his scream turned into insane laughter as he emerged from the portal.
"I…am…loving this!" he laughed as he felt the power inside him. His purple outfit turned black, his hair turned purple and is red and yellow eyes turned red. "I feel so powerful! Hahahahahaa!"
He noticed his hands glowing with green energy. With a wide grin, he fired, destroying the lab. Vlad growled before turning to Vlad Plasmius and charged at Joker. Joker suddenly disappeared, surprising Vlad. Suddenly, he was blasted through the ceiling.
Vlad was back in his living room, groaning as he saw Joker flying.
"Look at me, I'm flying!" Joker exclaimed as he started firing at the mansion. "And look, I'm my own bazooka!"
"Oooh! Lookin' good, pudding!" Harley said, doing some wolf whistling.
Vlad growled before three more Plasmius appeared. They then charged at Joker, firing and punching him. Vlad blasted Joker to the ground, creating a crater.
"Oooh, neat trick!" Joker said as he looked at the four Plasmius. "Let me try!"
Without warning, Joker duplicated into four, much to Vlad's shock.
"How is he controlling his powers so well?" he thought as he remembered what a struggle it was to control his powers the first time he got them.
"Look at me, I'm a one man marching band!" the Jokers exclaimed, all marching. Before they gave wicked grins to Vlad. "And a one man army!"
To Vlad's shock, Joker started multiplying until there were sixteen of them. Soon, Vlad was overpowered by Joker and his mansion was being torn apart. Vlad was on his knees, bruised and burned as Joker floated in front of him.
"I am unstoppable!" Joker exclaimed as he flew through the roof, cackling madly. "Nothing can stop me now! Nothing!"
He then flew away from Wisconsin as Harley ran out the mansion, shouting at Joker to wait for her. Vlad groaned before standing up.
"I can't believe this, but I need his help," he muttered before he flew through the ceiling, ignoring the pain. From what his spies and sources told him, the Justice League's base was in the Earth's atmosphere.
Meanwhile, Phantom was in the Watchtower, concentrating. He was alone in the monitors, since it was his turn. Luckily, it was Friday night, so he told his parents he was staying at Tucker's. He really needed to master this ability so he could be in two places at once.
Suddenly, another head and torso appeared. Danny concentrated harder as he almost got it. Without warning, the hangar doors opened, surprising him. He lost his focus and lost the second torso and got two heads instead.
"Hey Phantom," Flash said as he and Hawkgirl entered the room. They stopped when they saw a two headed Phantom. "Uh…you feeling alright?"
"Dandy," the head on the right said with a deadpanned expression.
"I was so close!" the left head said with a groan.
"What were you doing?" Hawkgirl asked as they walked towards Phantom.
"I was trying to duplicate myself," the right head said.
"You can do that?" Flash asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Not yet," the left head said with a sigh. "This is as far as I can split myself."
"But my archenemy can turn to four," right head said.
"You have an archenemy?" Flash asked.
"Can you remove the other head," Hawgirl said. "It's freaking me out."
Phantom closed his eyes before the two heads disappeared. Now he has one eye.
"Not again," Phantom groaned. "Can someone whack me on the back of my head?"
The two looked at each other until Hawkgirl walked forward and slapped Phantom's head, one eye slitting into two.
"Thanks," Phantom said as he rubbed the back of his head.
"You wouldn't be having trouble if you only accepted my offer, Little Badger," a voice said, causing the three heroes to look up and saw Vlad Plasmius floating in front of them.
"Who's that?" Hawkgirl exclaimed as she grabbed her mace from her waist.
"Plasmius!" Phantom exclaimed before charging to the blue skinned Ghost. He threw a punch, but Plasmius caught his hand before throwing Phantom to the ground.
Hawgirl flew towards Plasmius, her mace cackling with electricity. She swung her mace at Vlad, who simply turned intangible to avoid getting hit. He then blasted Hawkgirl to the wall. Suddenly, he was being blown away by a strong gust of wind. He looked down and saw Flash using his arms to create two tornadoes. Vlad just glared before he fired through his eyes, hitting Flash and sending him sliding on the ground.
Vlad was then tackled by Phantom, followed by a kick that sent him crashing to the ground. Phantom then grabbed him by the collar and pushed him to the wall as Hawkgirl and Flash recovered.
"What do you want, Plasmius?" Phantom demanded, glaring at the halfa. Vlad looked at Phantom before he swallowed his pride.
"I need your help," Plasmius said, getting a shocked look from Phantom.
"You have a weird way of asking for help," Flash commented as he crossed his arms.
"What happened?" Phantom demanded, glaring at Plasmius.
"The Joker," Vlad said before the alarms activated. Flash ran to the monitors to see what the problem was.
"Looks like trouble…in Gotham City," he said, looking at his fellow heroes, and Vlad.
Gotham City…
It was total chaos that actually took Gotham by surprise. The Joker was dangerous enough, but a Ghost powered Joker? Pandemonium! The police were powerless against the group of Jokers. Batman came an hour ago to help, but his weapons were useless against this new Joker.
"This is fun!" Joker exclaimed as he fired at Batman, who jumped to the side and threw an explosive batarang to Joker, who just created a Ghost shield to block it. "It's even more fun when I'm winning!"
Batman narrowed his eyes as he noticed that Joker's powers were similar to Phantom's. What he needs right now is some ghostly help.
"Hey, Bozo!" a voice exclaimed from the sky. Before Joker could react, something slammed into him, sending him flying to a billboard about hamburgers, right through the eating guy's mouth. Batman looked and saw Phantom glaring at Joker. "I already had one Ghost powered Fruitloop, I don't need another one!"
Joker got up from the billboard with a frown. He flew to Phantom and tackled the boy to the ground. Phantom kicked him off before blasting Joker to a building. Joker flew towards Phantom, only to be slammed by a red blur that sent him to a truck.
"You're in the wrong freak show, pal," Flash said before dashing towards Joker. The clown just smirked before he turned intangible, causing Flash to run passed him and face first on the truck. Flash fell on his back, a little dazed.
"Watch where you're going, sport!" Joker said with a manic grin. Before he could react, an electrifying mace smacked him on the face, sending him flying to the ground. He sat up, holding his face. "Ow! That actually hurt!"
"And this more!" a voice exclaimed. He looked up and saw Phantom flying towards him like a bullet train, both fists in front of him. The two phased through the ground and into the sewers.
Hawkgirl caught her mace and landed next to Flash to help him up. Batman ran towards them, but stopped when Vlad landed next to them.
"It appears your mace affects Ghosts, like Ectoranium," the elder Ghost commented, staring at the mace. "Interesting."
"You wanna have a closer look?" Hawkgirl threatened, holding her mace in a threatening manner.
"It appears Daniel isn't the only one with a temper," Vlad said with a smirked.
"Who's this?" Batman asked, glaring at Vlad.
"Someone who started this whole mess," Flash said, rubbing his aching head.
"May I remind you that I am the victim?" Vlad said in an annoyed tone.
Before anyone could react, Phantom was blasted through the concrete, screaming as he flew to the ground. In a black blur, Joker appeared on top of Phantom and blasted him back to the ground. Phantom landed on a car, groaning in pain.
"I thought you said…he just got his…powers?" Phantom groaned, glaring at Vlad.
"He did," Vlad said as he floated to Phantom. "He has far better control of his powers than I did when I first acquired them."
"Guess some people were born for it," Phantom said as he flew towards Joker.
"You just don't know when to give put, do you brat?" Joker said as he dodged Phantom. "Just give up! You're outclassed!"
He fired at Phantom, who quickly split himself in half to avoid getting hit. The bottom part kicked Joker's gut while the upper part punched him on the face before the two parts connected.
"Oooh! That was a neat trick!" Joker said with a grin. "But can you do this?"
Without warning, eight Jokers appeared and surrounded Phantom.
"Oh come on!" Phantom complained, throwing arms in the air. "I've been trying to do that for months!"
He then flew to the air, causing four of the Jokers to follow him. The other four turned to the heroes, and Vlad. Hawkgirl just smashed one of them with her mace. Vlad electrified the other Joker. Batman used an electrified brass knuckled to punch the Joker duplicate's face.
"A little help here?" Flash asked as he ran around to dodge Joker's Ghost Rays, who was chasing him around. Hawkgirl threw her mace at Flash, who ducked, hitting the duplicate's face instead.
The duplicates turned into smoke. Before they could react, a screaming Phantom caught their attention. They watched Phantom plummet to the ground, covered in green energy. He made a large crater from where he landed as Flash rushed to help him up his feet.
"Don't…turn back…" Phantom thought, struggling to keep his Ghost form. Flash supported him as they climbed out the crater.
"Hahahahahahaa!" Joker laughed as he floated above them. "You can't stop me! Nobody can stop the Clown Ghost of Crime! From now on, I am…Joker Specter!"
On his chest, a symbol formed, turning into a ghostly letter crossed between a 'J' and an 'S'. A cape appeared on his back and some gloves. Even his slicked back hair turned into spiky horns and his teeth turned into fangs.
"And now it's time to get this show in the road!" he exclaimed. With a laugh, he flew faster out of Gotham.
"…You just had to put the plug inside your Ghost Portal," Phantom said as he glared at Vlad. "For having more experience, that was a rookie mistake."
"That was the only mistake I'll make, unlike your buffoon of a father," Vlad said with a sneer.
"Keep talking bad about my dad, I'll beat you in an inch of your afterlife," Phantom threatened with a glare.
"I'm so scared," Vlad said in a mocking tone.
"How do we stop him?" Batman said, glaring at Vlad.
"We could use those device you used on me," Phantom said, glaring at Vlad. "Don't you have your Plasmius Maximus and your Ecto Spectral Neutralizer?"
"I might, but my lab was destroyed," Vlad said, scratching his chin.
"At least something good came out of this," Phantom said before wincing. "Hang on…Joker found your lab…Does he know?"
"About our little secret?" Vlad asked rhetorically. "Yes. I did it in front of him."
"You did WHAT!?" Phantom exclaimed before wincing and groaning in pain.
"You okay there?" Flash asked in a worried tone.
"I'll be fine," Phantom groaned. "I heal fast."
"From a beating like that?" Hawkgirl asked in disbelief.
"That guy beat me up more than this," Phantom said, pointing at Vlad.
"So you admit of me being superior," Vlad said smugly.
"No, I admit you enjoy hitting children," Phantom said with a sneer.
"We need to stop him before Joker causes more trouble," Batman said, stopping the two.
"…I know one thing that could help," Phantom said as he tried to stand up. "I'll go and get it. You guys try and keep Joker busy. And keep an eye on this clown."
"Don't you trust me?" Vlad asked as he looked at Phantom.
"The day I trust you is the day Hawkgirl kisses Flash on the lips."
"Hey!" Flash exclaimed as Phantom managed to stand on his own. "It could happen!"
"In your dreams," Hawkgirl said as she crossed her arms.
"You are learning," Vlad said with a smirk.
"Not from you," Phantom said before flying away from Gotham. "I'll be back as fast as I can!"
They watched Phantom flew away before Batman contacted the others. "Batman to everyone; we're going to need your help."
Amity Park…
Phantom flew next to his house, inside an alleyway, before transforming into Danny Fenton. He needed his parents' Fenton Ghost Catcher to separate the Joker and Specter together, that way he could capture the Ghost half, and maybe send him to the sun.
He entered his home and saw his family getting breakfast.
"Morning, boyo!" Jack exclaimed jubilantly. "How was your sleepover?"
"It was great, Dad," Danny said in a rushing tone.
"Come and eat your breakfast, sweetie," Maddie said, placing a plate of eggs, bacon and waffles.
"No thanks, Mom," Danny said with a grin. "I ate at Tucker's. I just need to get something in the lab and then I'll meet my friends."
"Speaking about the lab, I want to show you my new invention!" Jack exclaimed as he stood up. "Come on, Danny!"
Before Danny could react, his dad grabbed his arm and dragged him to the lab.
"It's so nice to see them bonding," Maddie said with a smile as Jazz sighed, feeling sorry for her brother.
Danny was dragged against his will as his dad put him on his feet before he rushed towards the shelf and grabbed an invention that Danny hadn't seen before. It was like a pair of gauntlets attached to what looked like a small aqualungs.
"What is it?" Danny asked.
"It's the Fenton Ecto Extracto!" Jack exclaimed as he handed it to his son. "With this baby, it can drain the ectoplasm out of any Ghost, turning them into dust and containing all that power in this special container!"
"It's light," Danny commented as he held the device. "Hang on…this thing drains ectoplasm…what would happen if you use it…to let's say a human with Ghost powers?"
"Weird question," Jack commented as he took the device back. "But if that happens, it'll probably just turn the human normal again. But I still can't get it to work. Yet at least."
Danny watched as his dad placed the device back on the shelf before going back upstairs. He grinned as his eyes glowed with green energy.
Metropolis…
"The city of tomorrow, now ruined today!" Joker Specter exclaimed as he blasted at the streets, destroying some cars and causing civilians to panic.
"That's enough!" a voice exclaimed, causing Joker to look up and saw Superman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern flying towards Joker. "Your fun stops here!"
"The Calvary has arrived!" Joker exclaimed before he split into three and charged at the heroes.
Green Lantern made a giant fist and tried to punch Joker, but was shocked when Joker split into ten bits: torso, legs, feet, hands, arms and head flew towards Green Lantern and started attacking him like a swarm of bees.
Wonder Woman threw her lasso to the other Joker and tried to pull him towards her, but he just turned intangible and grabbed the lasso. He gave a strong thug that pulled Wonder Woman towards him before firing at her, sending her towards a building.
Superman charged and tried to punch Joker, but the half-Ghost clown just turned intangible, the fist passing harmlessly.
"You can't hit me, but I can hurt you!" Joker exclaimed before his blasted Superman with an Ecto-vision.
"So can I!" a voice exclaimed that caused Joker to look behind, only to get a faceful of electric mace. Hawkgirl destroyed the duplicate before charging at the other one. The real Joker, the one in ten pieces, pulled himself together to avoid getting hit by the mace.
Before he could react, Martian Manhunter appeared behind him and punched him so hard that he flew through a building.
"How can you hit him?" Hawkgirl asked as she floated next to the Martian.
"It appears Martian Biology is somewhat similar to Ghosts," J'onn said as he looked at his hands.
"But it's not gonna help you!" the two heroes looked and saw Superman being thrown towards them. They got hit by the Kryptonian and would have slammed into the ground painfully, but Flash created a tornado to soften their landing.
Green Lantern trapped Joker in a green sphere. The clown tried to phase through it, but all he got was a face full of pain.
"Interesting," a voice said behind Green Lantern. He turned and saw Vlad floating behind him. "It appears you Green Lanterns can contain a Ghost."
"Who are you supposed to be?" Green Lantern demanded.
"Someone who's responsible for this," Hawkgirl said as she flew towards them. "Give that clown to me!"
Green Lantern threw Joker towards Hawkgirl, who swung her mace and hit Joker's face, hearing a satisfying crunch. Joker slammed on the ground creating a large crater. Batman ran towards the Joker and pulled out a silver and green batarang.
He threw the batarang and it attached itself to Joker, who started screaming in pain.
"What is this!?" Joker exclaimed as he tried to remove the batarangs, but it was like magnetically attached to him.
"A spectral batarang designed to stop Ghosts," Batman explained in a stoic voice.
"That technology…where did you get it?" Vlad asked, looking at Batman.
The Dark Knight didn't answer, he just stared at Joker. Vlad looked a bit annoyed at being ignored, but held it in.
"Great job," Flash said with a grin as they regrouped in front of the crater.
"It's not over yet," Batman warned.
Suddenly, Joker started releasing a large amount of Ghost energy that shook the ground. The batarang then exploded and the shockwave sent the heroes, and Vlad, off their feet. They groaned before Joker flew up, laughing loudly.
"Nice try, Batsy!" Joker exclaimed before firing at his enemies. Vlad managed to dodge it, so he avoided getting trapped in slime. "But no one can stop me!"
Vlad, seeing that the heroes have been defeated, decided to leave. However, Joker appeared in front of him and blasted him back to the ground.
"You can't leave yet, Vladdy!" Joker exclaimed with a grin. "We're just getting started!"
He laughed as twenty Jokers appeared, their hands and eyes glowing with green energy. They then attacked Vlad, punching, blasting, kicking and breaking Vlad. Soon, the blue-skinned Ghost was on his knees, pink ectoplasm dripping from his nose, mouth and wounds, his breath ragged. It took all his willpower not to turn human.
"It's been fun, Vladdy, but it's time to end this!" Joker exclaimed as he made a green saber. "Time for your final curtain!"
Just as he was about to plunge the saber on Vlad's chest, a green Ghost Ray blasted him off his feet.
"I don't think so," Phantom said as he landed in front of Vlad, wearing the Fenton Ecto Extracto. "I may not like this Fruitloop, but I'm not gonna let you kill him, no matter how tempting that is."
"You think you can defeat me? Ha!" Joker exclaimed as he grinned insanely. "I defeated your Justice Losers singlehandedly! What can a brat like you do?"
"This!" Phantom exclaimed before he charged, aiming a fist at Joker. The clown smirked as he just stood there. He then caught Phantom's hand.
"You really think that's going to work?" Joker asked with a snort.
"Actually, yeah," Phantom smirked as he gave juice to his parent's new device. The gauntlets glowed green before Phantom grabbed Joker on the arm with both hands.
"Hey! Let go!" Joker exclaimed as he tried to get the Ghost Boy off his arm.
"Time for Joker Specter's final joke!" Phantom exclaimed as the gauntlets finally turned on. With a flash of light, Joker started screaming as he felt the ectoplasm leave his body, draining his Ghost powers.
"Stop!" Joker exclaimed as he tried to break free, but Phantom held a strong grip.
Soon, Joker's appearance returned to normal as he lost his Ghost powers. Phantom then let go before aiming at the sky. With a roar, he released all the Joker's Ghost Power into outer space, right at the sun.
"Nooo!" Joker exclaimed as he tried to go Ghost. "My powers!"
"Sorry pal," Phantom exclaimed with a smirk as he floated in front of Joker. "But three's a crowd."
He then punched Joker, causing him to spin before he fell to the ground, unconscious.
"Well done, Daniel," Vlad said as he shakily stood up, walking towards Phantom, who glared at him. "I knew you could do it. And now that the trouble has passed, we are back to being enemies. Though I am weakened, can we say bygones?"
Phantom smirked before cracking his knuckles. After a strong uppercut, Vlad was sent flying into the air, disappearing into the cloud.
"Bygones," Phantom said before going to help his team.
Later…
Phantom flew through the sewers, carrying the Ecto Extracto. He phased through the wall with brick that has his symbol burned on it. In the other side of the wall was his new hideout, which he started building a month ago.
He thought that he should have his own hideout, in cased he needed it. He got all his equipment from his parents' stuff that wouldn't work, unless they were powered by ectoplasm. He placed the Ecto Extracto on the shelf, near the silver utility belt he was building for himself.
He was also recreating his parents' invention, except for the Ghost Portal, since he doesn't need any extra trouble. He also used his color scheme on the remade inventions, to throw off suspicion.
"If Plasmius ever becomes a problem, I could use this to finally stop him," Phantom said with a grin before he started working on building his hideout. "Can't wait to show this place to Sam and Tucker."
Batcave…
Batman looked at his prototype, or what was left of it. It worked, it just needed a bigger container for the energy.
But his mind was on a different topic: Joker getting Ghost powers.
It was there that he finally realized on who Danny Phantom truly is. He took a picture of Phantom and then to Danny Fenton. If the Joker could get Ghost Powers, then it's possible that Phantom got his in a similar way. And seeing that Danny Fenton's parents were scientists, it's possible he got his powers by some lab accident.
Then there was Vlad Plasmius. From that interaction earlier, he guessed that Vlad was also a human with Ghost powers. He tried to find someone that could get this accident, and he found one person: Vlad Masters, who suffered a case of 'Ecto-Acne' twenty years ago, in a college lab accident, with Jack and Maddie Fenton.
After that, unexplained robberies happened and Vlad Masters became one of the richest men in the world in such a short time.
He narrowed his eyes as he stared at a picture of Vlad Masters. He needed to be ready against this Ghost-powered criminal. And for that, he needed Fenton Tech.
And boom! I did it! You weren't expecting that, weren't you? A Ghost-Powered Joker, now that's originality. Batman now knows the secret of Danny Phantom! Not really a surprise, since he knows Flash and Superman's secret id. I was planning on having him figure out on Reign Storm, but after Joker getting the powers and Vlad and Danny arguing, it was just a matter of time for Batman to piece all the pieces together.
