All right! I'm back! And I am shocked. For the first time in my life as a fanfiction author, one of my stories has almost reached 600 reviews! Oh yeah! I might even reach one thousand if I keep it up! And it's all thanks to you guys. I tip my eyeglasses to you.

Now enough with all this, time to get to the story.

Chapter 16: Mission Mars

J'ohn was meditating, something that he finds peaceful. Inside his own mind, he can be himself with no worries. He could feel everything with his relaxed mind, could feel the busy life on his new home, Earth. Though there were wickedness on Earth, there were also kindness.

He gave a small smile as he let his mind wander. Suddenly, something invaded his mind. No, it didn't invade. It was calling for help. And what's more, it wasn't on Earth.

He gasped as he broke out of his meditation and fell to the floor.

He looked up with wide eyes, not believing where that distress call came from.

Phantom landed inside the Watchtower's docking system. It was his turn for monitor duty, so he told his parents he was going to a study sleepover with Sam and Tucker. It wasn't the most exciting job, but it's his duty. Besides, he could use this time to finish his Math homework.

He suddenly saw J'onn quickly flying towards the Javelin, an urgent look on his face, surprising Phantom.

"J'onn?" he said as the Martian phased through the vehicle. He didn't even notice Phantom.

He was shocked when the hangar doors opened and the Javelin started flying out the Watchtower. He jumped to the ground as the Javelin flew out the hangar.

"Where the heck is he going?" Phantom asked himself as he stood up. He started thinking to either contact the League or follow J'onn. Choosing the easier choice, Phantom flew after the Javelin, turning intangible so he can fly faster.

As he flew after the Javelin, he pulled out his communicator and contacted the first person on speed dial.

"Flash, Phantom here. Can you do me a solid and take over monitor duty? See J'onn is acting weird and I think I need to follow him. Thanks! Totally owe you fifty burgers."

He then flew towards the Javelin as fast as he can before he finally caught up to it. He phased through and landed inside, catching his breath. He walked towards the pilot seat and saw J'onn gripping the steering wheel tightly. It's weird for J'onn not to notice him, since no one can sneak up on him. He tried a lot, but he always detected him.

"J'onn?" he asked as he grabbed his shoulder. The Martian jumped as turned to Phantom with a startled look.

Okay, now Phantom is worried.

"Danny, why are you here?" he asked.

"Why am I here?" Phantom asked with a raised eyebrow. "What are you doing taking the Javelin to…" Phantom suddenly looked at the coordinates. His eyes widened when he saw where the Javelin was going. "Mars?"

Phantom looked at J'onn, who seemed to be avoiding to look at him.

"J'onn, what's wrong?" he asked in a worried tone. He's never seen the Martian look so…uncomfortable.

"…I have received a distress call from my home planet," J'onn replied.

"What?" Phantom asked in a shock tone. "But you said Mars is dead. How is this possible?"

"That is what I was trying to find out," J'onn replied, looking back to his normal, deadpanned self. "Someone, or something, is in trouble."

"Why didn't you call the others?" Phantom asked as he took the co-pilot seat. "For all we know, it could be those gross aliens that tried to kill you."

J'onn didn't reply, even his expression was blank. But inside, he was feeling something. Hope. He was hoping that there might be some of his brethren left, that he might not be the Last Martian.

"Well, since this is too dangerous to let you go alone, I guess I'll go with you," Phantom said with a grin. "That, and I always wanted to go to Mars."

J'onn just looked at him before he nodded. He then sped the Javelin towards their destination. Phantom buckled his seatbelt, grinning as they flew towards another planet.

Unknown…

A small figure was running through the red valley, trying to get away from the monsters that attacked her village. She kept running as fast as she can before she ducked, narrowly dodging a blaster. She looked back in panic before looking at the front and saw that she was near the exit of the valley.

If she could make it there, then they won't be able to follow her. Just as she was a few feet away, a blaster shot her in the leg. She fell to the ground, holding her leg. She started when she felt two hands grabbing her roughly.

"We finally got it!" it shouted in anger and disgust. "Now let's take it back to the hole!"

"No!" she exclaimed in her mind as she struggled. "Let me go!"

The two held her down, trying to subjugate her. One of them held a blaster and aimed it at her, to quiet her. When she saw this, she shouted. Without warning, her two captors were blasted away from her, causing them to hit the valley walls.

With them knocked out, the girl stood up, wincing a bit from her injured leg. She started limping towards the exit before more came to catch her.

Javelin…

"And…we're here," Phantom said as they reached the site where the first humans used to land their space craft. "The first Ghost on Mars. This is gonna be awesome."

J'onn didn't reply. He just activated the Javelin's alarm systems and got off his seat. Phantom followed him towards the door. Once he coated himself with his Ghost energy, J'onn opened the door and red dust blew past them.

The two slowly walked out the Javelin and Phantom's eyes widened in awe. It was like standing in a red desert, red dust clouds flying by now and then. From the distance, he could see many red mountains. It was also warmer here than Earth. He also felt slightly lighter here than back home. Every step he took almost made him jump to the air.

"Wow…" he whispered. He then saw J'onn's back, his cape flowing under the wind. He looked so sad.

"This was once a beautiful utopia," J'onn commented as he started walking. "Now, it is a world ruined by war."

Phantom didn't say anything. He didn't know what to say. He couldn't imagine what it was like to see his entire world destroyed.

The two heroes silently walked through the sandy ruins, with J'onn occasionally telling about a ruined building that used to be important to Martian culture. There were many big ruins that were once important, like their Martian library and Martian Theatres.

Then they reached one ruined building that somehow looked familiar to Phantom. His eyes widened when he realized that his was J'onn's house, the one he showed them the first time they met. He turned to J'onn and could feel the sadness radiating from him.

Phantom placed a comforting hand on J'onn's shoulder, causing the Martian to look at him. After a few seconds, J'onn nodded at him before they continued walking. Suddenly, he stopped and started at the ruins in shock.

"The one who called me…is there!" he said before running towards his ruined home.

"Wait up!" Phantom exclaimed as he ran after J'onn. The two ran inside the house before J'onn flew through the broken ceiling. Phantom flew after him, dodging the pointy edges.

They stopped on the last floor, which seems to be J'onn's room. The two heroes looked around before they saw a figure huddled on a dark corner, red eyes staring fearfully at them. Phantom made an ecto-ball, lighting the entire room. When the darkness was gone, they saw a small, white-skinned Martian, it's leg bleeding a bit. From its physique, it looked more feminine than J'onn's masculine Martian form.

"A Martian…" Phantom said in shock. "There's another Martian!"

He turned to J'onn, who was also starring at the Martian in shock, not believing that there was another Martian. He quickly rushed towards it before kneeling down, changing into his Martian form, to ease her.

"Are you alright?" J'onn asked through telepathy, surprising Phantom. It's been awhile since J'onn did that.

"Who…who are you?" the Martian asked, her voice sounding feminine and frightened.

"My name is J'onn J'onzz," J'onn replied before he gestured at Phantom. "And this is my companion, Danny Phantom."

The Martian turned to look at Phantom, who simply waved, still dumbstruck. The Martian stared at Phantom in awe, like it was the first time she saw something like him. J'onn looked at her injured leg before looking at Phantom.

"Do you have something bandage her leg?" he asked telepathically.

Phantom tried looking, but his pockets were empty. After thinking, he snapped his fingers and tore off his left sleeve. His clothes can repair itself after he turns human, so it was fine. He handed the sleeve to J'onn, who thanked him before turning back to the Martian.

"Tell me, how many are you?" J'onn asked as he wrapped the makeshift bandage on her injured leg.

"All of us…or just us Whites?" the Martian asked in a nervous tone. Phantom noted when she…thought whites.

"All of you," J'onn replied.

"About…a hundred of us," she replied unsurely.

"A hundred Martians?" Phantom said in shock. "This is great, J'onn! You're not alone anymore!"

J'onn didn't seem happy, focusing on the white Martian.

"Who attacked you?" J'onn asked.

"The Invaders!" she exclaimed, causing Phantom to wince from the volume. It almost made him lose his protective aura. "The Invaders suddenly ambushed us from out of nowhere. They captured us and took us to the Hole. I managed to escape."

"The hole?" Phantom asked as he and J'onn looked at each other. "Sound familiar J'onn?"

"Never heard of it," J'onn replied simply. "Do you know where it is?"

She looked down for a few seconds before nodding.

"Can you take us there?" J'onn asked and the Martian girl seemed scared by the idea of it. J'onn placed a comforting hand on her shoulder. "Do not worry. My companion and I will protect you."

She looked at J'onn before at Phantom, who waved from where he was floating. After a while, she nodded. She stood up just as J'onn turned back to his hero form. She stared at this new form in awe before J'onn grabbed her arm and they floated out the ruined house.

"So…" Phantom said as he looked at their companion. "We never got your name."

"They call me…M'gann M'orzz," the Martian replied.

"Nice to meet you, Ma…Mi…" Phantom tried to say her name, but he kept getting tongue tied. "Um…can I call you Megan instead?"

"Megan…an Earth name?" M'gann said before she gave a small smile. "That would be…pleasant."

The three then flew towards the direction Megan told them. It looked like a long way, so Phantom started talking to Megan, to pass the time. The Martian didn't seem to mind. She seemed curious about the planet Earth. She kept asking about what it looked like and how Earthlings are.

"Amazing," Megan said as Phantom told her about beaches and oceans. "The sea sounds so amazing than I originally thought."

"You seem knowledgeable about Earth, Megan," Phantom commented. The Martian looked sheepish a bit.

"Well, we Martians enjoy watching the device called television left by the Earthlings who landed on Mars years ago," Megan explained. "We were fascinated by your Earthly cultures."

"Huh, didn't know Martians like television," Phantom commented. He then turned to J'onn. "Do you watch T.V.?"

"Indeed," J'onn said. "Earth television is very entertaining."

"There it is," Megan said as she pointed at the ground. They followed where she was pointing and saw a large hole that didn't look natural. "The Invaders kept us there."

"Why?" Phantom asked with his eyebrows scrunched up. "What are they planning to do."

"I don't know," Megan replied shamefully. "I managed to run before they could take me there."

"Then I guess we find out the old fashioned way," Phantom said as he flew downwards. "You guys know a place where they can't find us?"

"I know a place," Megan said, getting their attention.

The two followed her directions and Phantom was surprised see some old equipment that was used to exploration. Probably the equipment that was used by the previous explorers. A tent that had a large hole on it and another tent connected to the first one. A rover was on the side near a small satellite and some solar panels. Near the rover was a chair made of hardened dirt.

"Wow," Phantom commented as he walked towards the hole on the tent. He the ground tilled and filled with frozen sprouts. On the corner were baskets full of frozen potatoes with numbers like 55, 56, 55, 60, etc. "Those guys actually managed to farm on Mars? Amazing."

"Indeed," J'onn said before he noticed a large rock over the wall. Megan walked towards it before she gave it a big push. The boulder rolled, revealing a cave entrance.

"This cave connects to a huge collection of tunnels," she said as she gestured at the cave. "We can use it to get to the Hole without being detected."

"How come the Martians don't just use it to escape?" Phantom asked.

"I and a few others are the only ones who knows about the tunnels," Megan replied before entering it. "Follow me!"

The two heroes looked at each other before at Megan before following her. After walking a few feet in it, it started becoming dark. The aura around Phantom lighted the cave, making it easier for them to see.

"I remember these tunnels," J'onn said as he moved his hands on the rough walls. "Me and my fellow soldiers created these tunnels to make ambush routes to the Invader's bases for our final assault. I can't believe these are still standing."

"Guess this place is still fighting then," Phantom commented. "So, what do you think these Invaders are doing?"

"I do not know, but it is probably not good," J'onn replied as they turned right. "We must save the others."

"We are almost there," Megan said, getting their attention.

The three stopped and Megan looked up. She used the wall as a foothold and pushed the rock that was covering the hole above. She moved it to the side and climbed out, followed by J'onn and Phantom. They looked around the place before they followed Megan through the caves.

"Is it me, or does this place creep you out?" Phantom commented, looking around the place warily.

"Indeed," J'onn agreed. "We must be prepared for anything."

"Over here!" Megan exclaimed, getting their attention. They walked towards her and they peeked through a corner. Phantom and J'onn were surprised to see the cave looked like the inside of the Invaders' factories and a lot of Martians all lined up and chained by the Invaders, though the Invaders looked more deformed than the first time Phantom met them.

Some had several arms while others have several legs. Other ones neither have arms and legs, he even saw a pair of Siamese twins.

"What the spooks happened to them?" Phantom commented quietly as he saw an Invader with four arms and three legs. "They looked like mystery meat getting stuck between the toes and stayed there for years."

"Perhaps their last encounter on Earth has damaged them greatly," J'onn suggested.

"That's what happens when you don't get enough sunlight," Phantom commented before becoming serious. "So, what's the plan?"

"We must free the other Martians," J'onn said as he stepped back and transformed into an Invader.

"Make it more deformed," Phantom suggested.

J'onn looked at his form before his legs split up and turned into arms, looking like a freaky centaur-like creature. With a nod, the disguised J'onn walked towards the disfigured Invaders, blending in with them.

No one noticed him entering the cavern and walking towards the group. Once he saw what the Invaders were planning, he and Phantom would strike, release the captured Martians and make sure the Invaders won't hurt anyone anymore.

As he trotted towards the center of the room, his nonexistent eyes widened when he saw the Invaders' ruined mothership at the center of the cave. And sitting on the center of the wreckage was the Imperium, looking very deformed than the rest. Half of its body looked melted while the other half looked like a skin filled with zits ready to burst.

"Are the preparations almost done?" it said in a raspy voice, like it was gurgling with sand for days.

"YeS, ImPeRiUm," one of the Invaders replied, though it sounded like it was in pain. "PrEpArAtIoNs…AlMoSt…CoMpLeTe."

J'onn watched as a ten-handed Invader pressed on the organic computer on the walls. Suddenly, a soft, white light surrounded the room and without warning, J'onn fell on the floor, screaming in pain, as well as the rest of the Martians. The only ones who weren't affected were the White Martians. J'onn was forced to change into his Martian form, shocking the Invaders.

"J'onn J'onzz! Get him!" the Imperium ordered. J'onn couldn't move from the pain as two Invaders grabbed him and pinned him on the ground.

"J'onn!" Phantom exclaimed as he tried to assist him, only to get shot by the Invaders. He gasped as he felt the aura surrounding him getting ruptured. He grabbed his neck as he felt the oxygen leave him. Megan grabbed him before he fell on his knees.

J'onn, seeing Phantom falling, managed to push the two Invaders and grabbed their fallen weapons. He blasted the Invaders that were about to grab Phantom and Megan. But he knew he couldn't keep this up. He could feel himself weakening from whatever the Invaders were doing.

"M'gann!" J'onn shouted, getting the White Martian's attention. "Take Phantom and go!"

"But what about you?" Megan asked in a worried tone as she saw J'onn weakening.

"I will be fine! Now go!" J'onn shouted as he kept firing.

Megan nodded before she grabbed Phantom, who tried to stay awake. She rushed back towards the tunnels as J'onn was overpowered by the Invaders. She managed to get in the tunnels and rushed back towards the entrance they came in.

"I…need…air…" Phantom gasped as he fought to remain awake. He could feel his aura cloak slowly disappearing, leaving only his upper body coated.

"Hold on! We're almost out of here!" Megan exclaimed as they finally reached the campsite and placed him down. She looked around in a panic, not knowing what to do.

"Hel…helmet…" Phantom said, getting her attention as he pointed at the white tents. "Need…helmet…Spacesuit…"

Nodding, Megan rushed towards the white tent. She rushed towards the shelves and rummaged through the boxes and equipment. After rummaging through three shelves, she found a small, old helmet that was patched up with duct tape. Below it was a worn, dirty, but still usable spacesuit. Megan grabbed the spacesuit and rushed back to Phantom, with the protective aura disappearing rapidly.

She quickly put the suit on him, sliding his arms and legs correctly, and zipped it. She then placed the helmet on just as the green glow disappeared. She waited for him to move, but she got worried as the seconds passed. Phantom then gasped and sat up, surprising her.

"Woah, that was close," Phantom said as he rubbed the helmet. He then turned to Megan. "Thanks Megan, I owe you."

"What do we do now?" Megan asked sadly as she sat on the ground, hugging her knees. "We are outnumbered and they have capture all of the Martians."

"Not all of them," Phantom said as he walked towards Megan, getting used to the spacesuit. "You're still here. And I'm still here. We still have a chance on stopping these Invaders."

"How?" Megan asked as she looked at Phantom. "There are hundreds of them, and they have weapons. It's just the two of us."

"Just because we're outnumbered," Phantom said as a white halo appeared on his waist. It traveled across his body, changing the spacesuit. From torn and white, it became new and black with green lining, the boots, gloves and belt were white. It also became slimmer, shaping into what his body looks like. The helmet that was cracked also changed and became good as new. The DP symbol appeared proudly on his chest. "Doesn't mean we're outmatched."

Megan stared at him with wide eyes, surprised from the sudden changed. Phantom looked at the spacesuit in shock. "Woah, did I do this? Awesome."

'So what do we do?" Megan asked, looking a little less worried.

"First, let's see what we can find in the tents," Phantom said as they turned to the tents.

They took everything that might prove useful before Phantom hotwired the rover. The two drove towards the Javelin, loaded with old equipment. Once they made it to the Javelin, Phantom started working on the rover. Borrowing some spare parts from the Javelin, and the tools left behind by the astronauts, he started upgrading the rover.

He attached some plating on the rover, adding some sharpened rocks on the sides, fixing the wheels and adding sharpened rocks on the side, upgrading the headlights by turning them to UV lights, attaching blasters he borrowed from the Javelin and solar panels on the roof of the rover so it can collect energy that can be used for the headlights and weapon blasters.

Phantom told Megan that for their plan to work, she needs to drive the rover. So she was sitting on the driver's seat, looking at the wheel and controls.

"So this is to activate the blasters, and this is to activate the UV lights," Phantom said, pointing at the controls. "Got that?"

"Um…" Megan said, scratching her chin in confusion.

"This is gonna take a while," Phantom said with a sigh.

"There is an easier way for me to learn," Megan said.

"What is it?" Phantom said with a curious look on his face.

Megan suddenly placed her hands on the side of his helmet before placing her forehead near the helmet, causing him to blush on the close contact.

Suddenly, his eyes widened when he felt his mind merging with Megan's mind. It was only brief, but he could feel what she felt and see what she felt, could see her entire life before his eyes like they were his own memories. He gasped as he pulled back from her grasp.

"What happened?" he asked as he stared at Megan with wide eyes.

"That is how Martians share information," Megan explained. "I am sorry if that was unpleasant."

"Don't…don't worry about it," Phantom said as he rubbed the back of his helmet. "It wasn't unpleasant; I was just surprised. So you know how to drive now?"

Megan nodded as she turned the rover on, hearing the purr of the engine. Phantom grinned as he shouldered the pack full of UV flash grenade he made from the equipment they have it wasn't much, but it was all they have.

"Well, let's give those Invaders some nuts," Phantom said, causing Megan look at him confusingly. "It means let's give them some trouble."

"Why didn't you just say that?"

"I was trying to make a cool moment," Phantom said, looking down. "Let's just go."

Later…

Back in the Invaders' cave, they were beginning to start their plans involving the captured Martians. J'onn was restrained near the Imperium.

"Are you enjoying the show, J'onn J'onzz?" it said in a mocking tone in its raspy voice.

"What…are you planning…Imperium?" J'onn asked painfully.

"I am going to finish the mission years ago," Imperium said. "To destroy all Martians. But first, to conquer the weakness of our kind. I will use your Martian DNA and merge it with my own, to make me immune to the sunlight. So we will harvest you Martians!"

J'onn gritted his teeth as he tried to fight whatever the Invaders were using to weaken him and his brethren. If he doesn't, then his brethren will die again right in front of him.

Suddenly, something small and wrapped in duct tape falling from the sky. Confused, one Invader picked up one and held it closely. It exploded, releasing a strong flash of IV light. It screamed in pain and melted, taking along the Invaders near it.

The flash grenade started exploding, causing the Invaders to scream in pain as they melt from the exposure of UV lights.

"Special delivery!" Phantom exclaimed as he became visible. "Here's your package of a can of butt whoop!"

He flew towards the gathered Invaders and fired at them, blasting them off their feet. They started firing at him, but he kept blocking those with his Ghost Shield.

Suddenly, they heard an engine roaring from the cavern entrance. They all looked and saw a tricked up rover charging towards the Invaders. The Invaders fired at the vehicle, but it was deflected by the extra plating on the rover.

They tried to jump away, but they just kept pushing each other. They either got impaled by the sharp rocks and run over by the rover. Megan stopped as she spotted a large group of Invaders all pointing their weapons at the rover.

She pressed the button that activates the blasters, which were programmed to auto fire. Once the blasters were out, they started firing at the Invaders, obliterating them. A large group of Invaders all rushed and jumped on the rover, but Megan just swerved in a circle, causing them to fall to the ground. She then turned on the headlights, releasing UV lights, causing the Invaders to scream in pain as they melted.

"Good, while she keeps them busy, I'll disable the machine that weakens the Martians," Phantom said as he looked at the glowing ceiling. He then turned to the computer that activated the glow. He flew towards it, firing at the Invaders blocking his way.

Just as he was near it, a tentacle grabbed his arm and pulled him away from the panel. His torso and legs were wrapped by the Imperium. It didn't have a face, but he could tell it was mad with the way it was trying to crack his helmet.

"You! Another one of those interferers!" it exclaimed. "Once I harvest the Martians' DNA, I will harvest you and destroy your species!"

"Not on my watch, ugly," Phantom said as he ripped the pack of his shoulders and phased it inside the Imperium. With his glowing hand, he slashed the tentacles off him and jumped off. The three remaining flash grenades exploded inside the Imperium. It screamed in agony as UV burst out of its jellyfish-like body. It fell to the ground, groaning in pain.

Phantom then looked at the panel before rushing towards it, raising his glowing right fist. With a shout, he punched a hole through the panel, destroying it. It exploded and the light that restricted the Martians died.

J'onn, feeling his strength returning, turned to his Manhunter form. The Invaders that was near him tried to restrain him. His form changed, turning into a snake-like creature with massive arms. He grabbed the two Invaders and smashed them into each other.

He then flew towards his captured brethren, grabbed their chains and tore it off them. Now freed, the Martians charged at the Invaders, overpowering their captors. They took their weapons and forced the Invaders on a corner, along with their defeated Imperium.

"It is over, Imperium," J'onn said as he and Phantom stood in front of it. "You and your army have lost again. And this time, you will not escape. Our war with your kind years ago will finally end."

"NO!" Imperium roared in anger. Without warning, it started piercing its underlings with its tentacles, surprising the two heroes. The Invaders screamed before they started merging into its body, making it bigger. "I WILL NOT BE DEFEATED AGAIN BY YOU LOWLY, DISGUISTING, HALF-BREED PEONS!"

The two heroes and the Martians backed away as the Imperium slowly turned into a glob monster with thousands of limbs sticking out of its body and heads that were screaming in pain and anguish.

"That is just wrong…" Phantom muttered as he and J'onn prepared to fight for their lives.

"MOVE!"

Surprised, Phantom and the Martians turned around and saw the rover going towards the Imperium Blob at top speed, the UV headlights activated. The Martians all jumped out of the way to avoid getting run over.

Phantom eyes widened when he realized what Megan was going to do. He flew after the rover and turned intangible. He entered the rover and saw Megan's foot pressing on the gas.

"Megan, don't do this!" he exclaimed, turning tangible and appearing beside her.

"I have to, Danny," Megan said in a calm tone. "I have to do this, for my parents."

"I know what happened to your parents was bad," Phantom said sadly. "But killing yourself won't change what happened or bring them back!"

Megan was silent, but Phantom could see tears falling from her red eyes and her hands were trembling from the wheel.

"Your parents wouldn't want you to end your life here, Megan," Phantom said gently as he placed a hand on her shoulder. "Let's go."

Megan reluctantly let the wheel go and Phantom phased them out of the rover just as it jumped towards the Imperium Blob. The creature screamed in pain as the UV rays hit it. When the rover hit the blob, it entered in its body. Phantom turned back and fired a Ghost Ray at the rover, hitting the energy source.

"NOOOOOO!" it shouted before it exploded. Phantom made a big Ghost Shield that protected the Martians from the explosion. Once the explosion died, Phantom lowered the shield, revealing the blob spattered across the place, the fire slowly burning it out of existence.

Finally, the Imperium and the Invaders were gone for good.

Phantom was looking at the rover sadly, seeing that it was wrecked and can never be fixed again.

"It was too beautiful for this world," he said before turning to the cheering Martians, happy to finally won the war.

Later…

Megan was sitting on the former campsite of the explorers, looking at the stars, a melancholy expression on her face. She looked as Phantom sat next to her, looking at the stars.

"The stars looked a bit different here in Mars," he commented as he pointed at the sky. "Little Dipper should be there, and Leo should be a few feet from there. I didn't think the stars would look different in a different planet. It's kinda cool."

Megan didn't say anything, she just stared at the stars.

"Look…I'm sorry about what happened to your parents," Phantom said as Megan looked on the ground sadly.

Because of what Megan did when their minds merged, he saw what happened to her life. It was brief, but he saw what happened to her family when the Invaders came back. Her parents were shot right in front of her as they protected her with their bodies.

Since then, she's been surviving on her own, running away from everything that moves. J'onn and Phantom were the first person that she actually let them help her. That was why she trusted him enough to merge their minds together.

"It's my fault," she said as she hugged her knees. "Because of me, I lost my parents. Maybe if I was a little stronger, I could have save them."

"You don't know that," Phantom said as he placed a hand on her shoulder. "But now that the Invaders are gone, maybe you can finally move on."

"How?" Megan said, looking at Phantom. "I am alone in this planet and an outcast to my people. It is impossible for me to move on."

"Then you can come with us," a voice said behind them. The two turned and saw J'onn looking at them. Megan looked at him with a surprised expression.

"W-what?" she asked, thinking she might have misheard him.

"Your mother was a dear friend of mine," J'onn said, surprising her. "She was the few who fought alongside me when the Invaders attacked. I didn't know she survived for so long, and had a daughter as well. She saved my life once, so the least I could do is look after her daughter."

"Yeah," Phantom said as Megan looked at him. "Besides, you always wanted to see what Earth is like. This could be your chance."

Phantom offered her a hand, which she looked at with a hesitant expression. Slowly, she took his gloved hand. Grinning, Phantom pulled her on her feet.

"I…I don't know what to say," Megan said with a smile and tears falling from her eyes. "Thank you."

Later…

J'onn was driving the Javelin with Phantom on the co-pilot seat. Megan was resting on the other chair, exhausted from the fight.

"J'onn," Phantom said, getting the Martian's attention. "Um…why didn't you stay? Since Mars isn't dead…I thought you'd stay there."

"Yes, I am happy that my race is alive and they are slowly rebuilding," J'onn said, not taking his eyes off the space road. "But I have responsibilities on my other home, especially since I have a new ward. Earth seems to be a good place for her to live in."

Phantom looked at him before he grinned and started relaxing. He was worried that J'onn might leave the team, but he guessed those worries were for nothing.

"By the way, why are you still wearing that," J'onn said, gesturing at Phantom's spacesuit. Even the helmet was still on.

"What? I like it," Phantom said with a grin. "I am keeping this thing."

And there you go! Sorry for the wait, thinking up this chapter was hard. So this is how Danny meets M'gann M'orzz and how she came to Earth! Also, the Invaders are finally gone for good, never to be seen again. Also, hats off to those who can guess the movie I used to reference in this story.

beazlerat- Thanks. Enjoy the chapter.

ActionTReaction- Don't worry. Update complete.

YuugiYY- Ha! That's a funny idea. Seems like something Klarion might do.

The Keeper of Worlds- Yeah. It's funny when that kind of things happen. Clueless playas are funny.

nightmaster000- Yup, Tula is a possible love interest. And maybe Orm will return. Who knows what will happen.

Menatron the Angel of Ideas- Nah, Talia is too old. Though Chesire might do…but she already has a thing for Red Arrow.

foxchick1- And if you guessed Megan the Martian, then you are correct.

JP-Ryder- Ding, ding, ding! You are correct. As for Wonder Girl, she'll appear in later chapters.

RHatch89- Thanks :D

Guest of honor- Wait no more…but you are going to wait again for the next chapter…so I guess you'll wait forever.

rst64tlc- Well, Danny Phantom is owned by Nick and Butch Hartman and Justice League is owned by DC, so unless Danny Phantom becomes DC, then that crossover won't happen. But that's why we exist, to make crossovers.

Kimera20- Aw thanks! But you guys are the amazing ones for liking this story.

KodiakWolfe13- Yeah, that's why Vlad exist, to be hated. Hehehe. And yeah, I changed a few things, like adding Tula and Garth, and turning Orm into a Ghost-powered villain. And yeah, Garth took advantage of Tula's loneliness and broke Kaldur's heart. Not cool! Hope you enjoyed this chapter as well.

mmsolargirl- Nah, Batman is subtler than that. He's going to be more businesslike as Bruce Wayne to get gadgets.

Phantom-Thunder- Really? So when a guy shoots a girl on the stomach or if a girl beats a guy with a rusted pipe means they're flirting? Sounds like a Japanese comedy/romance thing.

ShadowArbitor- Well, she isn't Miss Martian yet, though she has been named Megan. Hope you like how she met Phantom.

Justus80- Well, there are other versions of Aquaman that you might like, like the Aquaman from Batman: the Brave and the Bold.

Daniel6- I'll see what I can do about that.

scheffelman- In the Unlimited story. Now, he's still wearing his trademark jumpsuit.

Blazingkill- Yeah, Desiree would be one of those OP villains to fight.

RandomCitizen- Yeah. Royalty = Pricks. That's 60 percent true. As for the Harem route, it's funny when a harem is involved, so many misunderstandings and accidents. Hehehee.

AwesomeMan327- Hm…that doesn't sound bad. I'll see what I can do about it.

ScarecrowReaper- Well, a lot of people were dissatisfied with the Supergirl pairing, so I decided to turn it into a classic anime-style harem. As for Teen Zatanna, then I guess Zatara will be the one joining the League instead.

CyberActors15- Yeah, there will be DC villains that will get Ghost energy, but I have to pace it or the idea might get too boring.

josephguy217- I will, don't worry.

xbox432- Yeah, Garth is now on my non-favorite list, and Danny did get lucky, hehehe.

JoWashington- Did he get that from eating seaweed? Oh well, actually, it did made some negative effects, seeing that Orm turned crazy.

duskrider- Yeah, and now she died and Kaldur can never get her back, stupid Garth. Also, you are one good friend to back off like that when your bro likes the girl you like. More people should be more like you. And yeah, it will be high-larious when they all meet. Heheheee.

Totong- Thanks fellow true believer, though this is a DC story, I don't mind.

TerrorKing10- Well, the Aquaman from Warner Bros. Justice League is the jerk, but the other versions of him aren't. As for the Vixen web series…maybe I'll do that as a special chapter.

Hero-Time10- Kinda. She isn't Miss Martian yet. And yeah, Donna Troy will appear. I originally wanted her to be the pairing, but the votes spoke for itself.

white- Sure, just let me watch the Kill la Kill show first.

Kurimaster13- Yeah, it's kinda like how Superman thought he needed food and water, but instead he needs only the sun. So I'm doing that for Danny.

mad thought- Yeah, Garth is a d****. Also, Sam will get powers and join the harem.

SuperFlash- Yeah, that would be funny, on both ideas.

GhostHornet- Don't worry, that story will be something you'll enjoy. Hehehee.

Darkverger1- Yes he would.

Fanboy316- Too bad, but it's gonna keep happening. DC villains with Ghost powers will be the thing in this story.

ImmaSupa Stargirl- There are a lot of them. Heck, it seems something Lex Luthor would or anyone else with a super brain. As for the episodes, I'll skip a few.

PhantomWrath- Sorry, but it'll be a harem. Hehehe.

Wingd knight- Don't worry, other villains will get Ghost powers, but they won't be too often.

DinoZilla- Fighting an army of Darkseid is easier than having a harem.

DoomsDay2015- Hm…Interesting. Don't worry, I'll have these guys join the new team.

ARSLOTHES- Glad you like it.

JoJo knd- Don't worry, I'll pace it. Reign Storm and Starcrossed are also the chapters I am looking forward to make, even the Ultimate Enemy.

Ciestess84- Thanks. I always imagined that there's a Tula like the one I portrayed.

Jebest4781- Thanks, I'm happy you liked it. Hope you'll look forward to more chapters.

ShadowArbitor- Sure, I'll see what I can do.

kairi102- Yup, he broke the code and hurt the best Aqualad out there.

SuperiorBatman- Sure, he'll be able to control the Ghostly Wail after a few times. For the harem, yeah, that would be fun to have them in it.

PhantomReaper13- Yup, we all hate Garth. At least I do. Heh, the harem idea is funny.

Larry- I will, don't worry.

socialgirl378- Yeah, it's funny when girls fight over someone and that someone gets hurt. And she kinda showed up now.

Guest3- Update complete.

Guest4- It wasn't supposed to be, but they were a lot of unrest with the pairing. And yeah, she would make a doting sister.

RnadomGuy- That would be a funny idea.

CursedSymbiote- Yeah, that's why I decided to make it a harem, since they're always interesting.

dracula-key- Yeah, Donna Troy will appear in future chapters. Hope you enjoyed that movie. I was kinda disappointed in it.

DiscordShadow- I'm not good at making heartbreaking drama…Well, maybe in some other stories, but not in this one.

CrimsonBat- Sure, I'll see if I can.

ForeverPhantom- Yeah, in future chapters.

Dion ComicWiz- Thanks, glad you like the story.

1-Well, they met one, and only Phantom and J'onn appeared. It makes the story more of a challenge for them.

2-Probably a few, maybe six or seven.

3-Still thinking about that. Maybe it'll be one of those endings in videogames where they sometimes don't show the pairings but simply imply it.

4-Hm…that sounds interesting…

Hope you'll like this chapter.

Slenderbine- Yes he will.

Fk306- Keep looking forward for it.

wolf10000- I will, don't worry. And thanks for the compliment.

Guest5- Sorry, I'll be doing the Justice Lords differently, so Dark Phantom won't appear.

FrostHunter- Sure, I'll keep the story up.

SunWolf- Don't worry, the Justice League episode will take a different twist. And I won't spoil it.

Guest6- Um…okay…

SoundVenom- Yup, I have an idea on how to make a DP X Ben10 story.

wiseguy2415- I will, just keep reading.

LoneWolfsRage- I will, don't worry.

Jestalnaker94000-Don't worry, I'll keep this up!

And that's it! We'll almost reach the 600 point in the reviews! Once again, thank you! And don't forget to make check out 'This Means War part 2'.

Next chapter, to the past of war! Savage in Time! See you later!
