I chuckled softly, "We can wave him off from one of the big boulders on the edge, but we'd be careful to watch for the bird.". Alex and Ashley squealed as they grabbed my hands, and started to lead me to where Flik was.

In the distance, I could see Flik, Dot and those two other boy ants walking beside Flik. I chuckled softly as I heard Dot's proclamation, defending Flik proudly from the boy ants.

"Nobody asked you, Your Royal Shortness.", the first boy ant snorted. "Yeah, Dot. What do you know?", scoffed the other boy ant.

"Hey, leave her alone!", Ashley yelled as she and Alex ran over to defend their friend. Alex nodded, "Yeah, cut it out!". Filk nodded, "She's entitled to her own opinion, boys, and Alex's right. Do you want the Queen or Princess Atta to ground you, hmm?".

I chuckled softly, "Actually, it would be their parents to do it, but yeah, a mention from their Royal Highness would do it too.", and the boy ants quieted down.

We then ended up on the rock with the cliff. Flik then started to climb the dandelion. "Here comes the best part!", I whispered to the kids.

Alex and Ashley gasped softly as Filk lifted off on the dandelion, almost like a parachute/sky glider combination in one, and Alex giggled softly, "It's even better in person!", and I grinned lightly, "You know, I think you're right.", watching the kids wave to him as I flew up slightly, waving to him as well. I soon winced when I heard Filk shout upon colliding upon a boulder on the side of the riverbed, hearing Dot call out for him in concern.

"I'm okay!", Flik called out before starting to climb up the boulder. "Your dad's right. He's gonna die.", muttered the second ant boy to the first ant boy who nodded in agreement.

"You just watch. He's gonna get the bestest, roughest bugs you've ever seen!", Dot said with a determined look. "Flik will make it!", Alex said with a smile.

Ashley nodded, "Yep! He's smart! He will come back!". I nodded with a smile, "Filk is brave. Now come on, kids, all of you, let's head back into the shade. It's still summer.", sparing a glance at the horizon, wondering how Angela is doing.

(Angela's P.O.V.)

I was in what I guess could be called my room at Hopper's Hideout. I sighed as I laid my head against the bed. I frowned lightly as I thought about Hopper. He was respectful to me the entire journey which was a surprise as I clearly saw something when he attempted to flirt with me back there in the underground spot.

I also remember that a few other Grasshoppers tried to flirt with me...and that didn't end up well for them. I ended up kicking their ass...Thank god I took karate lessons...Thank you, Sandy Cheeks for inspiring me to take karate lessons. (Just a little joke as reference to Sandy from Spongebob.)

Good thing that my legs are taller in this grasshopper body than my old human body, through I have to watch out for water...Apparently, grasshoppers can't actually swim in the water yet can ski and float on leaves on the water.

As for Hopper...he has another side of him...that wasn't shown in the movie.. There are moments when he tried to flirt with me...

Like the time I was having a grain for my first dinner at the sombrero hideout...I ended up dumping a plate of grain on him.

The next time I was flirted by him once more, it ended up getting him thrown in the water. Of course, it took Molt and a couple of other grasshoppers to get him out by the time I got back in, wanting to have some sleep.

But it didn't stop Hopper from flirting with me a few times again for today. "I wonder how long he will keep this up?", I whispered lowly. I then looked out into the night sky and I prayed to the stars. "Please...let my little angels be okay...and that i will return to them..one day.", I prayed quietly.

I then heard a knock on my door, and I called out, "Who is it?". Hopper's voice answered me, "It's me. I got dinner for ya.". I blinked in surprise, and sighed softly as today had been my first full day of separation from my twins, not counting yesterday as it was only part of the afternoon and the evening yesterday for the journey and the first few times of Hopper's flirtations.

"I won't kick your ass if you promise not to flirt this time! I ain't in the mood for your schemes.", I called out. "Alright.", Hopper then walked inside my room.

I glanced at Hopper, holding a plate of corn and clover leaves along with a drink of wheat water. I nodded, "Thanks.". "I gotta admit...you are a strong female grasshopper...I didn't expect for you to throw me into the water.", Hopper said with a impressed smirk at me.

I chuckled softly, "Well, I had to learn how to defend myself since the day I got...r-raped...", a shiver overcoming my body momentarily. Hopper's eyes went wide. "Raped?!", Hopper exclaimed in shock.

I shivered at the word... Should I tell Hopper the truth about how Ashley and Alex were born? And also about my brother? Tell him..Angela...He will understand. The voice said in my mind.

I gulped anxiously as I looked at Hopper, "Look, this is between you and me. You must not tell this to Molt or your gang, you hear? Some of my friends back at Ant Island and my folks knew of what happened, but they haven't witnessed it as I...and my brother had...". I could feel tears in my eyes.

"I was younger back then, maybe a year and a half ago. My older brother Josh took me outside to play...but then...", I said as I felt my voice shake.

Hopper blinked in surprise, "Shit...", and I continued shakily..."Granted, I was naive...I was playing near some tall grass with Josh watching over me...when suddenly, out of nowhere, those big grasshoppers came out...".

"One of them had grabbed me...and my brother tried to get to me...but he was unable to break free...and he was forced to watch...as I was...", I sobbed roughly. "Was what?", Hopper asked quietly.

I spat it out quickly, "Forced to breed unwillingly.", not wanting to say the 'r' or 'm' words, and Hopper gasped softly in horror, "The twins were the result...".

"My brother was able to break free...and he fought the grasshoppers long enough for me to escape...but he didn't make it...", I sobbed into my hands. Barely making out Hopper through my hands, I felt him move on my bed, resting a hand on my shoulder, but didn't move any further than that as he whispered softly, "I'm sorry, Angela...".

"His last words to me still remain in my head...Mom blames me for being the reason Josh had died...", I sobbed quietly. I hear Hopper exhale softly..."That explains why you're sensitive when my boys are around...You're the only female here...Shoulda seen this coming...".

I didn't respond as I kept crying. I then felt Hopper wrap his arms around me, and he started to rub my back... I soon felt myself start to fall asleep. Hopper sighed deeply as he gently laid Angela down to sleep, grabbing the palm leaf blanket, covering her softly. He then left the bed, watching Angela for a moment, and looked down in guilt as he quietly closed the door, heading off to his room, thinking furiously...

(Hopper's P.O.V.)

"I can't believe she went through...all that...", I whispered to myself. I growled lowly, "Better tell the boys to lay off the flirting...I better do the same too, through she's pretty. Those blue eyes sure are special on her...".

But I still wonder...Why did she tell me her story? She has been here for only one day. "But why would her mother...?", I whispered in confusion.

I sighed softly, "Another day to ask her, I suppose...Angela...No wonder she is named that...", glancing at the stars, feeling the barely audible music under my feet, "I'll shout at the boys tomorrow to back off.", before heading to my bed to grab some sleep.

(Alex's P.O.V.)

I and my sister were with Dot...the three of us had telescopes as we kept an eye out for Flik. I and my sister knew this was the moment he will return with the Circus bugs..

It has been a week since we saw our mother leave with Hopper, and then of course, Flik left the next morning. I spoke out, "Seen anything, Ash?". Ashley is scanning the western horizon while I had the eastern horizon, and Dot went for the southern horizon. Ashley shook her head, "Nope, nothing yet. Dot?".

Dot replied, "No sight of him yet.". "Hey, look who's playing lookout again.", chortled Link, the first ant boy from last week.

"Little Speck and her friends!", agreed Raul, the second ant boy; Link's friend. "The name's Dot!", Dot said defensively.

Ashley called out, "And don't you forget it! She's a princess, so ha!". I grinned lightly, "Nice one, sis.", noticing Dot glance at us gratefully before looking up. I heard a gasp, and she laughed, "He did it! Flik's back!". I looked in her direction, and sure enough, I can see a glimpse of a dung beetle which I recognize as Dim, and I knew Flik is atop him.

I grinned brightly as I jumped up, joining Dot and Ashley, waving at Flik, "You're back! Flik, you did it! You got them here!". "Come on, let's go!", I shouted excitedly as we hopped over the clover forest.

When we got there...we saw that Flik and the circus bugs have already landed. "Flik! You're back!", Dot shouted happily as she ran to Flik, with us at her side, running along.

Flik laughed heartily as he lifted Dot up as I and Ashley hugged him around the legs, hearing Ashley proclaim, "Knew you'd come back, Flik!", and I backed her up, "You braved the world out there, you did it!".

Flik then knelt down and he hugged me and Ashley. "We missed you, Flik.", I said with a smile. Flik smiled warmly, "I missed you too, twins!".

(Chris' P.O.V.)

"Flik has returned!", Mr. Soil gasped out, calling to Atta. "He's back?", Atta asked in surprise. I then flew outside, and saw that Flik had indeed returned with the Circus bugs.

I grinned lightly, scanning the circus bugs, and found Francis whom is bashing Slim on Heimlich's head, laughing softly as I saw that Francis is actually more handsome than I remembered...Those wide brown eyes, those red wings, that playful smirk...I shook my head, a bit embarrassed that I was daydreaming again..

"How? He...He wasn't supposed to actually find someone!", Atta exclaimed in bewilderment. I chuckled as I flew over to the group.

Flik saw my arrival, "Chris! Guys, this is Chris, the best friend of Angela and the caretaker of the twins!", and I smiled, nodding in a gesture of greeting, and I caught Francis gaping at me for a second. I smirked lightly as I winked at him casually.

"Princess Atta! Hey! Hey guys, this is Princess Atta! She's the one that sent me to find you!", Flik said with a wide smile. "Atta! Atta! Did you see that really big bug over there?", Dot said as she was jumping around in excitement.

"He looks absolutely ferocious!", Mr Soil said in awe. "They're our ticket out of this mess!", Thorny said with a grin, nodding.

"They came just in time!", Dr Flora said with relief. "So, Princess Atta, what do you think?", Flik asked with a confident, patient grin.

"No, no, no, no, wait! This was not supposed to happen.", Atta said before she called for a huddle, talking with the Council. I smiled widely as I waited for Francis's moment which is to happen in five, four, three, two, one.
