"I'm happy to see that Chris finally found someone to be with.", I smiled happily. Francis blushed red. "I've heard a lot about you...Chris tells me you are great at karate and self defense?", Francis said curiously.

I nodded lightly, "They're techniques to fight against bad or simply flirting guys when I am alone, and they have saved me countless times.". "Cool...I would love it if you could teach me some moves.", Francis said with a grin. I smiled wryly.

-Time skip-

Chris and Francis have already introduced me to the rest of the Circus bugs. My walking session earlier worked fabulously, and of course, at the end of it, I had a great kiss once more with Hopper when it was his turn.

Boy, did it shock everyone..when I told them that I and Hopper were now a couple. Hopper had even spoken with the queen saying that he would no longer force..the ants to collect food for him and his gang.

Of course, I was wondering about the gang, and I asked Hopper if they might come to Ant Island as they saw that we'd been gone for a while, and Hopper was quiet for a second before he replied that Molt is a worrywart at times when he isn't being stupid or babbling.

"If they do end up coming to Ant island...I'll explain to them...that we are no longer going to bother ants or bully them...", Hopper said with a nod. The two of us were in the tree staring at the afternoon sunset.

I smiled softly, "I suppose you're right. I mean, they would know how to survive with that boot-full canister of seeds and grains at the hideout, and besides, they lived their own lives before they met you, right?".

"Yep.", Hopper said with a chuckle. I leaned my head on Hopper's shoulder as he smiled and wrapped an arm around me. I sighed softly, feeling content and safe, and I smiled at him, "I've never felt happier than now, having you with me, learning how to love, and somehow, I feel like I could put the past behind me now with a light heart.".

Hopper smiled as he rubbed my back gently. "The twins asked me the other day...if they could call me dad.", Hopper said with a little chuckle.

I gasped in surprise, "They did? What did you say? Are they waiting for the right moment to say it? Or have they done it already?", spitting out the questions in excitement, and Hopper caught my attention with a quick pat on my shoulder, "Whoa, whoa, slow down...Are you calm now?".

I sheepishly chuckled, "Sorry...", taking a deep breath, and I then looked at him, "Well?", smiling, anticipated to hear what he says.

"Well...I said yes.", Hopper smiled brightly. I squealed as I hugged Hopper. "Oh, this makes me so happy! I have wished so hard for the twins to have a father-figure in their lives as they already have grandparents and their uncle in Chris, and of course, they consider the others as family too. And oh, my other questions?", I smiled widely, looking at him in curiosity.

"Well...after I said yes..they have been starting to call me dad.", Hopper said with a smile. I hugged Hopper even more. "This is wonderful, Hopper! Are you really happy with us, having a family, even if the twins...isn't yours?", trailing off with a little sigh, wishing for the thousandth time that the twins had Hopper's genes instead of that bastard who took my womanhood...

"My angel...even if the twins aren't my biological children...i still love them as if they were my own.", Hopper said firmly and steadily as he cupped my cheek. I breathed softly, my heart swelling at the sincerity and honesty of his proclamation, and I grabbed him lightly into the crevice between his neck and chest, leaning in with a purr, "We're alone...no interruptions by anyone.", kissing him on the lips fleetingly before I leaned back with a smirk, "Well, flyboy?".

Hopper grinned, and he kissed me back with much passion. We became so engrossed into our making out session, not bothering to stop, through he knew this is only practice for the possibility of being mates one day, and I was still tentative about the act of making love, through I didn't know much about the info of grasshoppers doing it...

We didn't stop until the horn sounded out, interrupting us, and we broke away from each other, looking out from our high tree spot, and we saw...Hopper's gang!

"They're here!", I said in surprise and amazement. Hopper sighed with a shake of his head, "On the day I say it, they ironically come. Figures.", and I chuckled softly, "Come on, let's go meet your brother and convince the gang that it's time to change just like how you told the Queen.".

"Agreed.", Hopper said with a smile. Hopper then picked me up into his arms, and started to fly down. "Let's hope we can convince them to stop all this.", I said with a grin.

Hopper chuckled softly, "With your sass and your determination, and my natural socializing skills, we will convince them, no doubt about it.". I giggled softly.

(Flik's P.O.V.)

I and Atta were playing with the twins when we heard the horn sound out..."What's that?", Ashley asked as she pointed out to the sky. I looked in her direction, and I blinked softly, "Is that...", hearing Atta's reply at the same, "Hopper's gang?". Yep, sure enough, just as they got closer, it was definitely the rest of the grasshoppers.

"Now what?", Atta asked anxiously. "Well...we have to hope Hopper can convince them not to hurt us.", I said with a hopeful smile.

"You three stay close to us.", Atta said sternly to Dot and the twins. "I see Thumper.", Dot whimpered in fright. "Don't worry...just stay behind us.", I said quickly.

I saw the grasshoppers walking around, looking around at the colony and us as well, and when Thumper saw the kids, he got closer, growling lowly as I ushered the twins closer to my legs with Dot closely upon Atta's legs, protecting them when I heard Molt talking out loud, "Easy, Thumper!", but Thumper didn't listen to him, struggling even harder against the leash, snarling when a shout grabbed his attention, "Thumper, cease! Don't touch my kids!", and I saw Hopper land roughly with Angela in his arms, a warning expression on his face.

"Hoppy! You're okay...I was really worried when you didn't return home!", Molt said, looking relieved. "Well, first of all...I didn't return back to the hideout..because my love had gotten injured.", Hopper said softly.

Gasps surround the gang, and Molt blinked in surprise, "Your love? Angela's your girl now? You love her for real?". Hopper blushed as he then said "Yes..I love her.."

"Also, Hopper has something else to tell you.", Angela said with a raised eyebrow. Hopper nodded to her with a tender smile as he set Angela down, and looked at the gang, "Ant Island has brought Angela to recovery after she got injured, and in return, I promised Ant Island that all of you aren't to bother them ever again, or force them to pick food ever again. It's time to change your lives for good. I am happy here with my love, and my kids.", looking over at the twins with a fond smile.

Ashley giggled as she ran over to Angela and Hopper, "Dad!", and Alex followed behind with a wide grin. I smiled softly as I saw the twins hug Hopper. "Well?", Atta asked the grasshopper gang, a bit nervous.

The gang traded looks and expressions as they muttered among themselves as Molt broke off, "Well, no matter what, I'm sticking with ya, big bro!", chuckling with a smile as he came over to the huddle, and then winked softly, "Maybe I am invited to a possible wedding, eh, eh?".

Hopper and Angela blushed. "Sure, little brother.", Hopper said with a grateful smile. "Well..let's go tell the rest of the ants the news.", Angela said with a nod.

It took a while for the gang to figure out what to do with their lives since they had lived with Hopper for at least 2 years. Some of the grasshoppers saw the jobs of several ants, and decided to stay here on Ant Island, enjoying the rhythm of digging tunnels, working in the nurseries, and making meals from the food the colony brings in. The rest of the grasshoppers went to leave Ant Island, along with Thumper, much to the kids' joy as he's crazy insane.

"Where do you think Thumper will go?", Alex asked Hopper curiously. Hopper smirked lightly, "I talked to his handlers, and turns out that there's a rumor of a pack of dragonflies annoying every bug in the city. Thumper will have some fun, probably might be a little more sane at the end of it.".

(Angela's P.O.V.)

"It would not surprise me to see Thumper become a much normal and sane grasshopper.", I said with a smile. Hopper laughed lightly, "Sounds about right, my angel. Now, since the boys are mostly gone, we are free to have days to ourselves without worrying about a interruption, hmm?", and I blushed warmly.

"Yeah, I guess...we can go back to doing...what we were doing...", I said before the horn once again went off. Looks like Hopper spoke too soon. "What is it now?", I asked with a groan.

Hopper frowned lightly, "I can't tell. I gotta fly up to get a better view. You okay down here? You know what Dr. Flora said about your wings.". I nod my head. Hopper then flew up to the sky...and then I heard screaming from the ants...and the other bugs. "What's going on!?", I asked quickly.

Gypsy yelled, "It's the bird!", horror on her face as she landed besides me, pulling me gently, "Come, we gotta get to the anthill!". I gasped, and I looked around, "Where's the kids?! Where's my babies?!", momentarily knowing that Hopper is hearing me.

(Hopper's P.O.V.)

Alex held Ashley close as he screamed, "Momma!", just as the bird's beak was going toward the root too close, Ashley screamed alongside, "Daddy!", and I growled lowly, the word spurring me into fury, and I flew down, diving under the root, grabbing my kids, and flew out from the root, flying fast to avoid the bird's chase, hearing the loud chirping.

"Daddy!", Alex and Ashley cried out. "Don't worry, I got you two...I won't let that bird get you.", I whispered. I hear Angela screaming, "The bird! He's gaining on you!", and I dived, loop-sided, zig-zagged to tire him out, panting heavily as he's still on my tail.

(Angela's P.O.V.)

"Hopper can't hold out much longer! What can we do?!", I turned around to the circus bugs, and Francis gasped, "The faker, the fake bird in the tree!", and Flik nodded, "Yes, that's it, we gotta get up to the tree without the real one noticing us!".

"Follow me!", Flik said hastily. "Atta, you lead everyone else to safety!", I said quickly.

Atta nodded, "Right!", ushering Dot on, shouting to the other ants to go for cover while I followed Flik and the circus bugs, biting my lip anxiously as I momentarily saw Hopper holding my, no, our kids close to his chest, flying rapidly. "Now don't make a sound.", Flik whispered sharply.

All the circus bugs nodded, and went into walking mode, knowing wings under light could catch the bird's attention, and I followed them, climbing and walking, and Flik led us all the way to the hole with the fake bird.

Flik nodded, "Okay, Heimlich and Dim, knock the sticks down when we're ready. Everybody else, come on. We gotta put a pair each to work the wings with someone at the sound-horn, and I will be at the controls.".
