It was an early dawn morning as the sun shined on the valley of Jasper National Park in Albertha Canada as the western pack matriarch, Eve woke up next to her mate Winston to greet the day, stretching herself to ease her old muscles and yawning to clear out her sleepiness and popping her neck muscles to get rid of any stiffness that may have occurred during her slumber, stepping outside the den, she breathed in the cold crisp air through her mouth and nostrils, enjoying the taste it gave.
" Such a perfect day to visit with my daughter! " She told herself as she went back inside to wake up her husband to get him up and start his day already. " Winston, Honey.." she started sweetly before leaning in close to her husband's ears " WAKE UP!" she shouted so loud that it echoed inside Winston's ears and throughout the den.
" Owww, Eve! did you have to yell so loud into my ears? " He complained. " Now they're going to be ringing non-stop for the rest of the day! "
" You're a heavy sleeper, Dear! " Eve happily pointed out as she patted her husband on the head, who was starting to enjoy it with the wagging of his tail...only to stop when his wife stopped petting him.

" It's time for us to go out and enjoy the day " Eve told him. " Can't waste it by sleeping all day, you know! "

" You'll get over it. Now, I'm going to check on Kate and Humphrey and see how they're doing! " Eve said while waving her goodbyes to her mate, who was starting to nod off to sleep until she threw a rock towards him to wake up. " No going back to sleep now! "
" Whatever you say, dear..." Winston muttered in severe annoyance before making his rounds around his territory.
Eve's hair bounced along with her every step as she made her way to Kate and Humphrey's den, greeting each and everyone of her pack with " hello's " and " how are you's" with a smile on her face and a wag of her tail.
She finally made to their den and walked up the incline, closed her eyes and cleared her throat as she stopped at the top when she overheard moaning sounds inside of the den, thinking the worst, she poked her head in and witnessed her worst fears were realized...

" Okay, I'll go...but we're not through discussing this, honey. " Eve huffed as the turned to leave, glaring at Humphrey as she made her exit down to the valley, growling lowly as she did.
" Wow...your mom's still thinks you're her baby..." Humphrey said nervously. " Did you see the way she glared at me? "
" I know, Humphrey. She just needs to let go of the past and see I'm not her little girl anymore, Let me live my own life. " Kate exasperated as she buried her face in her paws in frustration.
" I know how you feel, Kate " Lilly said out of nowhere, she was dressed in a blue stewardess uniform for some strange reason other than a dumb voice actress joke no one on Fanfiction will get, chugging a can of Red Bull and burping afterwards.
" Lilly...were you here the entire time? " Kate asked while feeling uncomfortable with the thought that her little sister was watching her and Humphrey having sex the whole time.
" No, I just arrived with Garth to see if you two wanted to hang out, then I noticed Mom and you arguing and we hid. " Lilly answered as she motioned for Garth to come out of his hiding spot. " You can come out now, Garth. "
