I'd like to start by thanking all of you for submitting so many characters within such a short time frame! We officially have nine out of 22 slots filled! There are so many interesting contestants, and I just can't wait to get started. With that out of the way, I wanted to take a quick survey regarding the format and direction of the story.I'm a big fan of role play and reader participation, so please feel free to dm me post-read with a confession cam stating who your character(s) voted for and suggest story ideas, challenges, character interactions, and so on. You know, whatever you like best about each chapter. I'd like to keep my readers engaged, after all, so your input is 100% valued!

Questions:

Two-part chapters and in-character voting: (For those of you haven't read the original Total Drama Bedrock fic or were not involved.) TDB was a user-participation story. Each episode was separated into two chapters: One with a challenge and a second for the elimination ceremony. Essentially, readers who submitted original characters had the opportunity to vote (in-character) for who went home in each chapter. I'm a big fan of reader interaction and collaborative writing. However, I'd like to know whether or not the reboot should take the same route. Basically: Do you prefer two-part chapters where you can affect the outcome, or would a pre-planned single chapter be better? Let me know!

Story-Relevance: On a similar note, I will always do my best to abide by your votes, but story, arcs, and characters will always come first. For example, if an antagonist receives the majority of votes while still having story value, a character's arc could be strengthened by them staying (or leaving), or some other narrative benefit would be dampened by someone going home, I reserve the right to meddle with the votes if it will result in a better story. That said, I don't intend on doing this and will be pretty flexible with eliminations where I can. Basically this: don't god-mode or vote based on audience knowledge. You may know a villain is causing drama or hurting other contestants' chances at the mil, but your character probably doesn't. How else would Heather, Scott, or Alejandro have lasted as long, right?

3. NO-ONE is Safe: Depending on submissions, I may throw two of my own characters into the fic. However, say one of them gets the most votes one week, the fact that they are my character does NOT exclude them from elimination. So please do feel free to vote for them!

Finally, I *LOVE* musicals, so it's no shocker that World Tour is my favorite season. That said, should the fic include musical numbers? The previous iteration ran on a bi/tri-chapter song schedule, but let me know what you think!
