Their return party was in full swing, everyone was back from Edolas and Magnolia was back to normal, there certainly was a lot to celebrate. Everyone was super happy with the victory over King Faust and his anima project but the biggest celebration was of course for their missing Fairy returning: Lisanna.

Elfman kept declaring how manly it was she was back, Mirajane was all a bustle behind the bar serving the multitude of drinks but kept her eyes trained on Lisanna, it must've felt like a dream for Mira and if she didn't keep checking maybe thought Lisanna would vanish again.

Lucy was sitting at the bar chatting with Levy, she was of course so happy that Lisanna had come back to the guild albeit she felt bad for the Edo-Elfman and Mira that they'd lost a Lisanna twice now!

After they'd come back to the guild once they found Mira and Elfman the guild had pounced on their group with questions on exactly what happened and how Lisanna was back with them. Once the questioning was over Lisanna was quickly crowded by everyone welcoming her back. Natsu had swooped in at that point breaking off the hoards of guild members trying to crowd her and they were now sat on a table together with Happy, Grey, Erza and Elfman.

Other members dropped by every so often to chat but Lisanna seemed wrapped up with conversations with Natsu and Happy for the most part. At least that's how it looked to Lucy, and she couldn't say she blamed Lisanna, they had been childhood friends and from what she'd heard they were very close not to mention everyone expected them to have been dating had she not disappeared, so she thought it only natural Natsu would be the one she'd want to spend the most time with.

Lucy hadn't known Lisanna before she left so had decided to stay at the bar to give all the other guild members a chance to catch up with her even if she did miss sitting with her team she was still with Levy so was having a good time.

"Hey Lu, I'm going to go say hi to Lisanna for a bit. You gonna be ok here?"

"Of course Levy! Don't worry about me", with a smile and a slight push Lucy ushered Levy away. The evening grew late and Lucy was several more drinks in to the evening just enjoying the loudness of the guild and so grateful they'd managed to get everyone back from being in that lacrima!

Lucy turned around on her seat to try to see if she could spot Levy as she hadn't returned yet, looking at Lisanna's table but it had grown smaller and now there was just her Natsu and Happy left with her. She looked around and spotted Erza in a heated argument with Grey, she presumed over the fact he was somehow stark naked and sure enough after another sweep close by she could see Juvia hiding behind a pillar staring intently at Grey. Quick to look away before branded 'Love Rival' and feel the wrath of a jealous and likely drunk Juvia Lucy finally spottted Levy. A smile spread on Lucy's face as she'd noticed Levy was sat at a small table in the corner with Gajeel and Lily and couldn't help but notice the small smiles the two let slip every so often.

Turning back around to the bar Lucy lost her balance and was suddenly on the floor, butt in the air. "Oh no Lucy! Are you ok?" Mira was quick to enquire after the drunken blonde, her hand was over her mouth Lucy wondered if it was hiding a chuckle rather than shock.

"Owwww, yeah just fine Mira but I think I'd best call it a night. I'll see you tomorrow!" Picking herself up off the floor Lucy turned away from the bar to say her goodbyes to her teammates and started heading for Grey and Erza but soon froze in her path. Both women were currently locked in a staring contest, Juvia had turned her arms to water and Erza was for some reason in her sexy bunny outfit...Grey was passed out on a table nearby, still completely nude except for Juvia's hat which had been carefully placed.

Lucy turned away from the scary scenario deciding she was too drunk to deal with the anger of the women and instead turned to Natsu's table but she saw he and Lisanna were still deep in conversation and then Lisanna leant closer over to Natsu to whisper something in his ear. Lucy could have sworn she saw a slight blush across his face before Lisanna backed away giggling. Well they do make a cute couple I guess, she thought wistfully, I'll leave them to it. They've not spoken to me all evening so I doubt they'll notice I've gone home now.

Lucy stumbled her way out of the guild hall and then onwards to home swaying slightly as she went. When she got in her apartment she quickly downed a glass of water, put her keys and whip on her table and kicked off her boots before flopping down on to her bed.

She kept thinking over the events of the day but the one image that kept coming back to her was Natsu sat so close to Lisanna and the blush that had ran across his cheeks, it made him look so damn cute, no wait she shook her head trying to get that thought dislodged. Even if she'd maybe thought before that he was occasionally cute or good looking or handsome or how much she'd love to run her hands down his...no, no, no she had to stop these thoughts - Lisanna was back, end of story.

Maybe Natsu would want Lisanna on their team now she's back - that could be nice, or maybe he'd want to make a team just him, Happy and Lisanna - even just thinking about it made her feel really alone and sad that she could lose him, maybe a tad jealous too but she wasn't up for admitting that anytime soon.

All these thoughts had her face glowing red and she could feel the tears stinging her eyes threatening to fall. This certainly wasn't doing anything to help her sleep so she decided to go for a shower to clear her head. The water at least took her mind off things for a while, washing away any stray tears, when she came out clean and in her PJ's she flopped back down on her bed this time letting exhaustion take over her...she had helped save two worlds after all, she'd worry about possibly losing her best friend tomorrow.
