Harry walked into the bedroom, he hated the night before they launched an active operation. His nerves were on edge, knowing that the person of interest actually knew they had officers working there. He knew there was little chance that he would recognise who the officers were, none had been there when the original Havensworth operation had been running. It was the fact Jospeph Lincoln knew there was an op involving his team got under his skin. It appeared that he had no idea what the operation was. Harry knew the element of surprise was all they really had to work with. He walked over to the bed as Ruth slept peacefully. He sighed, getting into bed.
"Harry."
"I thought you were sleeping."
"No." Ruth sighed as she felt his arm wrap around her. "Just thinking."
"As always." He smiled slightly as she rested her head on his chest. "Calum, Beth and Erin will be there before the delegate arrive tomorrow. Tariq is all ready to go. Lucas and Dimitri know what they are doing."
"I know." Ruth sighed. "I really think that we are playing close to the wind on this one."
"Ros was right." He paused. "He already expects Section D to be there. So seeing me there at the Reception should throw him slightly."
Ruth tightened her hold on him slightly. Harry began drawing imaginary circles on her arm.
"I'll be there."
"And nothing will go wrong. We do everything as planned. The official line is the Reception is for delegates and their teams. Officially I am there as your plus one." He smiled as she nodded. "It will be ok, Ruth. I will not let anything happen to you."
"I know" She kissed his chest. "I know."

Sarah Wynn-Jones walked into the hospital carrying a small bag filled with everying Will might need for a stay in hospital. She hated the places, remembering when Malcolm had been shot and lay semi-conscious in the ITU. He was still only part-time on the Grid, semi-retired but it was still too dangerous as far as she could see. A nurse smiled at her as she appraoched the station .
"Can I help?"
"I'm looking for my nephew. William Holloway."
"Oh, yes. He said someone would be visiting." He smiled as pointed out where Will was being nursed. "He's in there. You can go in but don't stay long."
Sarah thanked the nurse before heading in the cubilce. She had to smile slightly as she thought about how easy it had been to slip into a role. It had been decades since she had been a field officer but it seemed it never really left her. She slipped into the room as Will looked up.
"Hi." She smiled as he looked up. "Tariq told me what sort of things to get." She slipped into the chair next to his bed as he thanked her. "Its just a toothbrush and bits and bobs. Oh and that chocolate you like."
"Auntie Sarah."
"You used to call me that when your Dad brought you to the Grid. Bill and Harry were quite the double act back in the day. Like Adam and Zaf now. Totally inseperable and both absolutely insane." She smiled at the memory. Will frowned as he realised how long he had been associated with MI 5. Even as a young boy he had been around espionage. It was almost as if he was meant to be a spy. It amazed him that the one time he had ended up in hospital hadn't been from a work related injury but was it was an illness that had got him.
"I remember. I was what? four?"
"Something like that." Sarah paused. "Long time since I was an analyst."
"You and Uncle Malcolm were always good to me." He paused. "And after mum and dad died. I."
"Hey, I miss her too." Sarah squeezed his hand. "You stop thinking about all that and just get yourself fit and strong. Ok?"
"Yeah." He smiled as he rested his head on his pillow. He knew that she was never going to tell him what was going on back at the Grid. Sarah kissed his forehead before slipping out of the room.

"Beth." Dimitri sat on the edge of the bed. "It is nearly midnight."
"You can tell the time? Well done." She winked at him as he took the paper she was holding out of his hand.
"Cheek." He placed the paper on the floor before beginning to take his prosthetic leg off for the night. "You need to stop worrying and get some sleep. I'm going to be there, Lucas, Erin, Calum and Catherine. Tariq and Malcolm will have eyes and ears on us and Ruth and Harry will be guests there." He watched as she tucked her blonde hair behind her ears. "You can do this."
"I know." She paused. "I just want to be able to pass as a half decent barmaid."
"And you will." He turned the lamp off. "Ros, Catherine, Adam, Zoe and Zaf will be near by. Its going to go like clock work." He lay down. "You know it will."
"If you say so, Sailor Boy." She yawned.
"I do."
"Go to sleep." He sighed as he felt her pull the duvet up. He just hoped he was right.
