Level: 8-9

As we approached the 8th floor, one of the lamps on the ceiling of the parking structure was flickering. It seems like the bulb wasn't screwed in all the way, but it didn't affect my ability to drive up the ramp. I got into the main aisle of the parking lot and we finally came across some people! They were getting out of their car, from a distance we could see that they were a girl with a lolita dress and cat ears, a guy in a sailor moon outfit with a skirt and wig, and someone in a full fursuit headed towards the elevator area.

Ana: Oh my gosh finally some people, and they're all cosplayers too!

Cody: Aaaaaa Catgirl Waifuuuu! Kawaiiiiii~!

Ana: Bruh, she's not your waifu, she's just a cosplayer! What if she's already in a relationship?

Cody: B-but catgirlllsss...

"Well that's good, at least we're not the only ones parking here and walking over to the anime convention…" I said while driving past their parked car. *Cody was waving at the girl with the cat ears who wasn't even looking in our direction. Ana rolled her eyes and facepalmed.*

Unfortunately for us, we still haven't found a single parking space. We were heading towards the 9th floor, I really hope this entire building wasn't full to the max, then we'd have to drive all the way back down and go somewhere else. All the while, we're just wearing cosplays in a stuffy car with a broken AC and a horrid smell outside. So we can't even open the windows to cool ourselves off. This was some night we're having, it was supposed to be the three of us blowing all our spare money on anime merch and cosplaying together...

Now I've driven up the ramp and we're on level 9 of the hospital's parking structure, fingers crossed that we can park somewhere up here…

"Woaaah, what's up with this specific floor?" I said out loud.

Cody: Huh? What is what? I can't see from here, you gotta drive up a little.

Ana: What's the matter? Is something wrong?

I was at a loss for words when I took one look at the level 9 parking. It was full of cars all the way down like the last 8 floors, but each car was identical in appearance, model, and brand. Fancy, new-looking cars, with slick jet black exteriors. The lamps above reflected the shine off their surfaces, and half the lamps near the ramp to level 10 were either dead or flickering. It's not that the cars looked scary, far from it. I thought this was the parking for a hospital, seeing all these uniformed cars on the same floor didn't make any sense. What the hell was going on here?

Cody: What... The... FUCK?! THIS LOOKS LIKE SOME CULT-ASS SHIT RIGHT HERE!

Ana: Holy shit you're right! This is so creepy! Why are there so many of them?!

"I-I don't know! Is this why the guy from the drive through gate said the 9th floor is reserved?!" *I stopped driving for a while, trying to wrap my head around the situation.*

Ana: Also, it's getting way too stuffy in here, I'm gonna open the windows. *She rolled down the window and to our surprise, the bad smell that was there from before was now gone.*

Cody: Oh hey, it doesn't stink anymore… Lemme roll down my window too… *Cody rolled down his window while Ana unlocked her door and stepped out. When she opened the door it was easier to hear was the faint sound of electrical buzzing, presumably from the flickering or dead lamps at the end of the ceiling.*

"Hey! Ana what are you doing? Be careful, we don't know if there's anything going on here!" *I shouted softly, in case anyone was here with us listening.*

Ana: Nothing to worry about, I'm just gonna take a peek at the cars, see if there's anyone inside. *Ana began to walk up to one of the many look-a-like vehicles.

Cody: Uhhh I don't think that's such a good idea…

Ana: I'll be fine Cody, there's nobody here anyway… Hmm, I can't see though any of them. The windows are fogged like the others. *Ana walked back into the car and shut the door. Once the door was closed I locked them back up.*

"Uhh okay! Let's not inspect any more of these strange cars since there's nothing to see anyway, and I really don't like it here…" I said as I slowly drive down the rows of identical jet black cars with whitened windows. Just the symmetry, the way they're so perfectly parked, and the black and white monotone setting, made this really uncomfortable to look at. I guess we're parking on the 10th floor after all...
