Chapter IV

Allison made it to Level K, seeing the many stuffed Bendy dolls that squeaked when you squeezed them. All black and yellow with crossed pie cut eyes with a crude stitch on their right eye. Some were twice as big as her. But then there were the broken remains of the Bendy cut outs littered the floor of Heavenly Toys. While making her way upstairs, Allison sees a broken glass window with the label "She's quite a gal!" written on a display banner to show where Alice Angel would make an appearance for all to see. While taking the left where there was a fork where there were two paths to take. On the left for Demon, and the other for Angel.

"Allison!" Henry exclaimed while walking out from the Demon path.

"Henry!" Allison came closer to Henry for an embrace but stopped thinking it would be strange.

"Have you seen Tom anywhere by chance?" She asked eagerly.

Henry looked regretful but answered with "Yes."

This wasn't an actual lie since he knew where Tom was. In the hands of Alice as well as Boris and The Projectionist. The two made their way to the elevator, down to Level 14. In the The projectionist once lurked around guarding the bodies of the deceased. Once Henry had to venture through to collect the exposed ink hearts as the last task given from Alice herself. This time he would only need to collect one heart. Allison's heart. As the elevator stopped, Allison was the first to step out, then Henry followed pursuit with an animated dagger in his hand. He raised it high slowly while Allison was unaware. Until she made a sharp turn for the left, making Henry miss nearly falling off the ledge if it weren't for the railing.

It didn't long for Allison to realize what was going on as she unseathes her machete aiming towards Henry.

"You don't understand, I don't want to hurt you really." As Henry explains that Alice has set him up to kill her and take out her heart in order to free Tom and Boris. Though Allison was skeptical, Alice will most likely break her promise so there had to be action needed.

"No, we can't do that. I know this sounds crazy, but you have to hide somewhere so Alice can't find you. The bay perhaps."

"What will you do in the meantime? Are you sure this will work?" Allison asked.

"We just have to improvise." Henry said while finding one of the hearts of a dead member of the Butcher Gang and placing it inside the box. While Allison took the elevator down to Level S, taking Henry's advance. But had some doubts that the plan would succeed. What if Alice was listening to them and knew something was wrong.

Would she have a trick up her sleeve to fool both her and everyone else? But for now she had to keep a low profile… at the bay populated by many searchers and lost ones.

Meanwhile as Henry returns back to level 9, he places the dagger by the drop box outside Alice's lair.

"Now that's a good little errand boy, and to think you would fail but done it. Now for your reward…" As said the gates open revealing two figures; Boris and Tom. So Alice has kept her promise after all.

As Alice remembers what it felt like to keep promises.

On the day she found out she was being replaced. It was just so unfair! Susie felt nothing. What was there for her to do now? Being Alice Angel was something she loved being as many used to cheer for singing. But now the crowd moves as the spotlight shifts to Allison.

The fateful night where Joey Drew himself appeared by her doorstep with a warm smile on his face. Susie didn't know what to say or think not before Joey began to speak for her.

"Hello Alice. May I come in please? I wanted to talk to you to clear things up." Without thinking Susie moved aside to let him inside.

"I think you know why I'm here. Do you know why? Not because you were a bad singer,no, you have a wonderful voice. Indeed."

"So then why am I being replaced?" Susie asked, wanting to know the truth.

"The reason? Well for starters Sammy told me that you came and ran out the door. I understood why you were so upset and believe me I be upset, too. The whole reason why I am here, because you are Alice Angel, Susie. And you'll always be her, not Ms. Pendall.

"Come with me, Ms. Campbell, there's something I want to show in the studio." Beckoning her to follow him.

That was it. That was the day, Susie Campbell had died and reanimated into Alice Angel. But not quite as Joey saw the (second) transformation and became very disappointed that she didn't become what he hoped to be. It didn't matter to Alice, she was going to be the one and only Angel. Not this wannabe Allison Pendel or anyone else. But she wanted more, she wanted to be beautiful.
