I'm surrounded by screams and anguish
The smell of ash and iron encompasses me
Their cries are slowly dying down
This moonless night feels like an eternity
Yet so short
How they beg for mercy
What is mercy
It is death or perhaps more time on this earth

The night sky is covered by heavy clouds
Not a hint nor whisper of light from the stars can be seen
Their cries become broken sobs
Then empty whimpers
So utterly shattered that no pleas are heard
The deed is done, the goal is achieved
I marvel at the destruction
A deep breath leaves my month
A moment of peace
Then bitter tase of revenge
This place would be so cold
If not for their burning bodies
The stench of burnt meat hangs strongly in the air
The final toll of the clock tones
The sun begins to rise
This is my end
The price must be paid
What is truly lost can never be regained
The light of sun shall never reach me
My knees buckle
The floor is cold and hard as stone
A master I am no longer
Shadows surround me
As nameless as they are faceless
Now all I hear is laughter
I was mistaken before
