Willy moved with great speed down the tunnel. It may have been fear of Jax catching up to him with those large metal arms and fists, but he only stopped when another tunnel opened up on the left side of his path and he turned toward the larger man.

"Well, this is where I go back. Don't say your old pal Willy never came through for you in a pinch!" Will pushed forward, but Jax pushed him back first against the dirt wall far beneath the bar Sonya had stayed in. Frightened, Willy nervously chuckled and pondered to "You know, I got to ask, how much were those arms?"

"What's down there?" Jax peered down into the darkness of the next path.

"You know, the thing you're looking for." Willy's answer wasn't enough to save him from the crushing pain of being pressed between metal and earth. "You're very strong."

"No shit."

He swiped Willy across the wall and threw the scrawny, petty man to the ground to investigate the darkness that stared back at him.

Willy watched, frightened, and blood now scattered from his face where it scraped the earth beneath Jax's strength.

A light flashed off of those great metal arms and Jax was pulled apart from the earth to the wall and back to the ground face first, eye to eye with Willy.

Bang!

He shot off a round from his gun but it stuck into the earth above him. A metal hook disarmed him and the gun flew into the shadows of the tunnel ahead. Another bang as it smacked the earth and in that quick flash, Jax caught a glimpse of a face that stared back down at him with a cold, smug grin.

"Too slow."

"Hey!" The two turned toward Willy as he pulled himself up, dusted himself off and nervously approached the attack. "My pal Kabal!" He pointed toward Jax as he leaned on Kabal's shoulder, only to be pushed off. "Don't say your old pal Willy doesn't come through for you in a pinch."

"I suppose you're right."

"Dragged me to the Black Dragon? You mother fu–" Kabal struck Jax with a the blunt end of a hook sword to knock the larger man out.

"So, uh," Willy didn't wait, "what are you going to do to him?"

Kabal took in a deep breath, earthy, stale, and scented with sweat, he pulled a few cold bills from his back pouch and tossed them at the ground beneath Willy's feet.

"Introduce him to the monster."
