The Nemesis wasn't the best place to work. Autobot breaches, commanding officers that would yell at them for the smallest mistake, Starscream, constantly being monitored; it was exhausting. And his job above all was worst off with all of these combined. He controlled the ship's navigation and relayed all space bridge coordinates from drop-offs, pickups, and everything in between from a private console setup.
VX-741 had been on this job for almost four hundred years going on five. He was one of the longest running Vehicons to be in the control deck as usually the Vehicons before only lasted up to two years before dying by Autobot hands in an emergency scuffle or they happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. The only other Vehicon in the room who surpassed him was the on-deck leader of the vessel and steerer, AC-800 a.k.a. "Captain" as they liked to call him even though Megatron was still legally the captain of the vessel since it was his vessel overall. He had been around for longer than almost any other Vehicon, one of the first hundred Vehicon clones ever created and even Megatron had some respect for him. Captain was still around because he refused to leave his post many times to help fight, claiming with very good reason that someone needed to keep the ship under control just in case. The ship always had to have an on-board steerer even when stationary. Soundwave was decent enough to accept the excuse so he's still running today because of that. It wasn't that he was a coward, no. If Captain had to fight, he would but he was chosen to do his job so he intended to see that through until his time was done.
On another note, Vehicons weren't supposed to have names but them being isolated from the rest of the crew a majority of the time had its advantages. As long as they kept the nicknames only while in the control deck, there really was no harm to it. His nickname stuck as Frostbite for his icy attitude and snappy remarks. He, of course, kept himself clean when superiors were around but when they weren't, he had a tendency to be a smartass which he knew Soundwave was aware of. Why the spymaster didn't report him to Megatron yet was beyond him but maybe it was because he was actually great at his job. Being navigator and prime mediator between superior orders and his team, he knew what needed to be done and he did his job well.
There were four private consoles and one specialized bridge window to see out of like their own main deck so to speak. The consoles each controlled an aspect of the ship. One for navigation and bridge coordinate receiving which was on the left wall from the deck entrance (that was his), one to steer which was main and center of the deck as well as had a specialized chair along with it which was Captain's, one for thrusters and fuel input on the right wall that belonged to HI-904 a.k.a. Devcon, and one for exterior sighting in blind spots not perceived by the main window and main gunner also on the right wall manned by RG-219 a.k.a. Gunner who was well known for having a trigger finger when angry. The ship control deck was one floor below the main deck where Megatron and the other officers would be as well as the communications network and interior ship control relay. While Megatron commanded the above, it was mainly Soundwave who talked to them if at all for control over the ship's voyage.
Only four Vehicons worked the control deck at a time and only eight in total had the access codes to get in, highly trusted and loyal Vehicons. The other four were trained backups in case the normally positioned Vehicons were injured, sick, or otherwise unable to do their job. Frostbite was still loyal but man, did he hate his job. Being navigation meant communicating with Soundwave more so than the others and then relaying those commands of coordinates and other messages to the rest of three on shift with him. Soundwave was not a fun mech to talk to. Knockout was the best replacement when Soundwave was busy retrieving relics and such. He could listen to that sweet voice any day.
"Heads up, Captain! We have new coordinates, new coordinates for an Iacon relic. Confirmed Soundwave's authority code: 57-3865, coordinates: 31.2304° North, 121.4737° East. Destination: Shanghai, China," he said.
Devcon and Gunner acknowledged silently while Captain read a copy of his screen mirroring Frostbite's before redirecting the ship to head on the path towards their destination. Captain then spoke, "Acquired, Shanghai, China. Estimated time of arrival, 0500 UCT, thirty minutes."
Frostbite took a moment to stretch his arms since they had been typing for hours nonstop from various commands and notifications presented by Soundwave and the abnormal amount of space bridges across Earth sent out to beat the Autobots to the decoded Iacon relics. It was hardly his first run in a bridging high-rise among scattered out forces but it was hardly a fun thing to do for a lengthy amount of time. Thankfully, things had calmed down a bit after a few successful retrievals of relics.
"Ah, relaxation at last," Frostbite mused. He touched the deep claw marks inflicted on his lower right arm long ago from wildlife he encountered his youth as a Vehicon scout on Charr. He never fixed it properly so it ended up being an identity mark to tell him from other Vehicons.
Devcon turned towards him in his seat and chuckled, his scars across his face in full view from a run in with the Autobot Springer back on Regulon Four. "Take it in, buddy, Soundwave is going to push as much demand for soldier transport as possible to please Lord Megatron."
"Yeah, this is ridiculous," Gunner joined in, his screen showing him targeting a flock of birds before sniping two of them out of boredom. "Lord Megatron in general is just pushing too far but at the same time, I kind of understand that we're closer than we've ever been to the end so I can't say I blame him for rushing either."
Captain hummed, "Lord Megatron knows what he's doing. It's the trouble of keeping up with the Autobots' quicker schemes that set us back. What they lack in numbers, they make up for in crafty planning. But soon, they will fall."
Frostbite laughed, "I hardly agree. They are crafty, resourceful even when limited. They haven't failed yet and we've thrown a lot of curveballs at them. The only way Megatron will win is if Optimus is killed. There's no other way. If he's still alive, we can't win."
"Try telling Megatron that. I'm sure he'll take it well," Devcon chuckled back.
"Nah, he will never know."
"But Soundwave may."
That got Frostbite's attention and leaned forward, "Considering all the backtalking we've done in here, if Soundwave can hear us, don't you think he would have done something already? We've talked about leaving the Decepticons, we've talked about interfacing with the superiors, and we've mocked all of them and yet, here we still are. If Soundwave is listening, why does he care what a bunch of Vehicons have to say?"
The other Vehicon put his servos up, "Alright, but I have noticed Soundwave's been coming in here to check on us more so than usual...check on you most of all. I feared he heard about the tentacle comment you made but you're right, he didn't do anything. Strange."
"It's his job to check on us in person. Nothing unusual about that. You are just being paranoid," Frostbite muttered.
"And you're being very calm about the fact he's looking over your shoulder ever other visit. I'm just pointing out what I notice. Since you specialize in communications like him, maybe he wants to make sure you're doing your job well. Who knows, but he does creep me out a little. Just watch yourself."
"Duly noted."
A sudden notification on all their screens alerted all four and they immediately perked up at the oddity of it.
"Soundwave's calling all Vehicons to regroup? Wonder what for?" Gunner said.
Captain was about to decline out loud to follow his creed to stay as the designated pilot when the speaker system of the Nemesis blared to life. This time it was Megatron himself.
"Change of plans. The relic will have to wait. All troops to the exterior dock, no exceptions. AC-800, MO-337, CC-950, go to the main deck and report to Soundwave for further instructions."
Captain's call up by Megatron wasn't incredibly surprising. What was unusual was that Megatron was calling on the Old Three. Captain and two other Vehicons held the highest ranks being around since almost the beginning and earning their stripes. The other two had important irreplaceable duties as well.
MO-337, nicknamed The Matriarch, was one of the best battle planners on the ship and almost the entire Decepticon Empire. She trained all the Vehicons to date with what was available and a majority of the officers as well. As her name implied beneath her skills, she also had a lot of kills underneath her belt as it was one thing for other Vehicons to try and reproduce her success on the battlefield, it was another for her to go in and if she did, someone usually died but being old enough now, she refrained from stressing her chassis out unless necessary. All the scars and war wounds she had were too many to count.
CC-950 was the top mechanic of the Nemesis, even was around to help build Trypticon in infancy before helping Shockwave repurpose the titan into the ship it was now. The Vehicon didn't have an official nickname but that didn't stop others from giving him some. The common nickname for him was Forge. Frostbite was one of the few who worked with him directly. He owed him a lot.
Devcon peered from Frostbite to Captain with slight unease, "Guess it's serious."
"Well, we shouldn't keep the boss waiting. Let's go," Gunner immediately urged.
Captain wasn't pleased but he knew better than to argue with that type of serious tone their leader had. He stalled the ship's pursuit forward and had it hover over a thick cloud bank among the night sky.
As the three prepared to leave, Captain noticed Frostbite wasn't behind them. "Come on, it means you too."
The Vehicon waved his superior off, "I'll join you guys in just a second. I need to lock the system so no one tries to steer the ship or anything."
"As if anybody would foolishly do that."
"You'd be surprised."
"Fine, but head up as soon as you're done!"
"Yes, sir."
Devcon suddenly tripped over a panel near the door, jutting it from its position and he cursed to both Gunner and Frostbite's amusement. Captain just shook his head and continued past the door.
Frostbite activated the lockdown procedure of the controls, ensuring nobody except them could activate it. By the time he finished, all three of his peers were gone. He was about to leave when something caught his attention. He thought it was a damaged wire near the door as it gave off a small spark. The door itself didn't appear jammed but how did no one notice it. It was probably what Devcon tripped over and it revealed itself most likely. He reached out to handle it when it began to surge.
"Oh shi-!"
The Vehicon yelped as his circuits got the brunt of the electrical current, sending his body into temporary stasis. He collapsed on the ground and everything went black.
What felt like a few minutes to what he began to think was an hour, his system rebooted and he was still on the floor. He could confirm as his internal clock reset, he was out for an hour just about. What became apparent was that nobody saw him or can looking for him.
When he looked at the sparking wire, it was no longer that way...but the door hadn't closed yet which it always automatically did after a set period of time if there was someone nearby with access but there wasn't movement much among it. Did he fry the door? Great.
Frostbite got up and stretched, this time with some achiness attached. He hit the side of his helm to make sure all his senses were working. The first thing he noticed was everything was dead quiet. No sound except for the very faint hum of the Nemesis' engines. Curiosity got the better of him and he peered out the broken door and gave a shout.
"Captain? Devcon? Anybody?"
No reply. Perhaps they already left as Megatron ordered. Maybe he was the one Vehicon they forgot. Frostbite was skeptical he was the only Vehicon left on the ship but when he exited his deck, he found it terribly quiet in the halls too. He knew he shouldn't wander since at any given moment his superiors could contact him, but he was awfully curious if he was really alone.
He wandered throughout the ship, his comm line open so if Megatron or Soundwave did request something, he could at least know about it. The storage room was empty, the recharge barracks were empty, nobody in Medbay, and the main deck surprisingly was barren. That was the one room he was sure would have Vehicons at least. Nope. It was safe to say he was alone definitely.
Knowing that, he calmed his worry and took the time to scout the main deck. It had been quite a while since he ever saw it. Nothing changed except a few more upgrades to the walls and ventilation systems. Slowly, he walked up to the main console at the end of the long deck piece overlooking the window. It was said only Megatron stood up there unless he needed someone else to take over or one of the officers needed it. A funny idea came to mind and he reached to activate the onboard speaker that echoed throughout the hallowed halls.
"Attention all cruise passengers, this is your commander, Frostbite, speaking. Today we have nice sunny weather, a good day to go to Cybertron and soak up the fumes of the wasteland. What is up with the Autobots? Are they automobiles? Are they decent bots? Who cares! They're dead where they stand! Hahahaha! Well, I hope all you bastards enjoy this never-ending paradise and you all can go fuck yourselves!"
He canceled the transmission just after that across the Nemesis, so far no chatter still so he didn't mistakenly send that through the comms themselves. Frostbite moved away from the main console like it was the Cybonic Plague when he knew he would be in trouble if anybody knew he was messing with the ship's comm system. The next thing he ended up doing was examining Soundwave's personal communication hub. It looked like any ordinary console except it had much more to it than his personal one on the control deck. Since it wasn't being used, he figured he could just get a sneak peek.
Soundwave had few perks he didn't, like the ability to counter exterior communications from Autobots or their human allies. He kind of felt jealous as that was a nice thing to have. He could have been monitoring the Autobots in his boredom and saved Megatron the hassle. He typed in a few keywords to see if anything came up and he found that Soundwave saved video and audio from the Autobots as well as the Decepticons. He found clips of private conversations between Megatron and his officers, he found some more explicit stuff regarding Knockout who was known to be promiscuous and was hardly a secret, and then he found some things about his own brethren. Soundwave monitored Vehicon activity too.
There were obvious public moments of buffoonery, some explicit private moments which one in particular he remembered seeing by accident, and Vehicons being their namesake for a good portion of the time. Why Soundwave kept those clips was beyond him. Then he noticed a few of them with a familiar setting, the control deck.
It was creepy, again, but he would have smiled if he could at some of the scenes. He remembered the clip showing him and Captain arm wrestling and Captain unfortunately won, vaguely did he remember another when Devcon started playing with the concept of which officer would be the best in berth and if he could recall, he chose Megatron and Devcon chose Knockout. Then there was a clip that he remembered too well and it was supposed to be a private affair.
Sometimes Vehicons had needs like any other bot and that day, he was alone. Captain was on leave temporarily due to a system malfunction and being one of the Old Three, he had high priority maintenance coverage. Gunner and Devcon were elsewhere for the hour so that left him. Watching himself fool around like that hit differently on this end and he kind of felt violated. What was worse was the clip was long.
Was Soundwave really that much of a voyeur? He shivered at the thought though there was a spark of slight interest. What else had Soundwave seen? What did Soundwave do?
Interest turned to uncertainty in a spark-beat when he noticed more clips of the control deck, all of them featured him in one way or another. Now this wasn't a form of flattery, it was obsession. He tried seeing if he could find other clips of other Vehicons stored in Soundwave's computer but most all them were of him. From various little games and gimmicks to privacy and intimacy, some not even on the control deck but other places he visited throughout the Nemesis. And the dates ranged from a year to...today. Soundwave was stalking him.
The most recent clip he had was the conversation Frostbite just went through with Devcon. He was watching them the entire time. He knew about everything. Nothing was reported to Megatron so it was personal what Soundwave was taking out of it.
An immediate panic began to uprise within Frostbite and his servos began convulsing between making fists and trying to grab the edge of the control base. He tried to delete the clip but an error message popped up which made him grunt in frustration. Again, he tried pressing the delete button but the same message continued. Only Soundwave could delete them as the computer was integrated with his system. Upon that realization, there was a chance Soundwave was being alerted right at this moment of what he was trying to do.
That didn't stop Frostbite from spamming the button to delete it over and over again until a crack rang out, and he yelped as the button he was mashing now had a line through it and was glitching its colors. It tried to pulse pink against its normal purple scheme slowly but it instead came up as an unorthodox pattern of fast blinking.
Suddenly, an alarm activated on the console and he panicked again. He grabbed the nearest object which was a loose panel on the side of the console stand and ripped it off, quickly whacking the top layout hard trying to shut it up. One good whack made the entire console, screen and control board abruptly stall and black out.
He froze, now aware of what he did in his heated moment. What in his crazed processor told him that hitting it again to jumpstart it was a good idea was unknown but he whacked it once more. He cringed when he heard the sound of a fuse or bulb breaking in the console interior. Terror was catching up to him and he stayed in a mid-swing pose even as he dropped the piece of metal he was holding. The only good part about all this was at least the alarm stopped.
Frostbite was paralyzed, insane even. "Oohhh, Soundwave's going to murder me!"
He slowly tried pressing a button to see what would happen. He shot back when the control panel sparked and the three screens attached read a glitchy SYSTEM ERROR: 54790 with a faded pink-glitched white triangle and an exclamation point. That wasn't any error he had ever seen before but like everything else, he would fix it.
"Okay, okay, we can fix this! It's not impossible! I've done this a million times-maybe not a million but we can do this, Frostbite!"
He knew it was life and death at this point. He had who knows how long to fix Soundwave's console before Megatron and the rest of the crew returned, whatever they were doing. He quickly removed the top control panel and exposed all the wires and other parts. True to his guess, the fuse was in shards and the motherboard was cracked from his brutal attack. The exterior control panel and its wires were all fine except the button he broke and there was a small dent on the molding around the console's lower buttons. He could fix that too. The screens were okay just one wire got dislodged from displaying information processed.
Frostbite booked it out of the room to retrieve what he needed. Scrambling to the storage area which didn't help his predicament time-wise, he tossed useless stuff looking for the right parts required. He found a spare console that was never set up for anything necessary and ripped it apart. He grabbed the fuse, the motherboard, a few extra cables he wasn't a hundred percent sure he needed but they were good to have just in case one did break that he didn't see before, a handful of wires, and he managed to pop out the hexagonal piece that matched the button he had destroyed.
"Ha, you're a sight for sore optics!"
Rushing back and carefully making sure he was going to trip, he made it back to the main deck and set the parts to the side. He placed the console control on its side length but made sure none of the wires twisted or broke and removed the lower paneling for its stand so he could crawl under. Underneath the wires, he could see up to the exposed ceiling but he also had a better angle to replace the fuse. He also took notice of something odd, something he was sure was not his doing, but it appeared as if there were a few miswirings on the data processor. The console could still work with the wires reversed but it would be slower. Out of decency, he switched them to their proper placement. He quickly reattached the screens' display cable and matched it to its correct outing. The motherboard beneath the control panel took all but two minutes to fix as it was simple to replace. He had done it multiple times when he worked in the repair ward briefly and under Forge's leadership as an apprentice.
Frostbite removed the broken button and centered the new one before attaching. Making sure all wires and cables were not damaged by him, he set the control panel back on its stand, securing it with its bolts and reattaching the metal panels at its base. When he was done, he reluctantly hovered a clawed digit over the activation button. Afraid, he placed his free servo over his optic visor and pressed the button.
Beep. Beep.
The Vehicon opened a portion of his servo to see if that was a good or bad sound and to his delight, the control panel roared to life with its signature purple and pink coloring. Excited by his success, he cheered as the screens came on as well. He noticed the reaction time between them both was faster when he dialed a code into the search. Soundwave may not kill him after all.
Everything was working. The files were present and safe. He was having a party in his processor as he held his arms over his helm in a victory cheer. "Yeah baby!"
SYSTEM ERROR: 54790
The confirmed-pink triangle with the exclamation point popped up again and he twitched in his pose before angrily exclaiming, "WHAT?!"
He was confused above all. If the system error wasn't the various bashings he did on the control board, it had to do with a security measure. There was a system error 54100 which was a malfunction in the screen itself but not a 54790 code unless it was created without his knowledge, also not possible.
He was about to touch the controls but pulled back, "No, no, remember what we just went through."
He was stumped. He didn't know how long the others, or Soundwave for that matter, were going to be gone but if he didn't figure out something soon, Soundwave would scatter his remains across the sky. He put his elbows on the edge and sank his faceplate into his open servos miserably.
Tsooo-tsooo – tschaak.
Slowly, he peered up at the screen and the error went away, replaced by the familiar sight of data running down its screen. Surprised, he straightened up and crossed his arms.
"What do you know? Just needed some time to reboot," he said, a strand of confidence slowly rising.
Suddenly, he was slammed forward before being pulled by something away from the console and dragged backwards. He stumbled and tried clawing the floor to stop himself but all he saw was the control console getting farther away and the streaks of claw marks he was leaving in the metal creating sparks. As he came to a halt, he was flipped over and he immediately clung to the floor in utmost fear.
Red visor optic met a blank but glaring screen visor. Soundwave had caught him. He was so frozen in terror, he didn't notice the tentacle wrapped around his leg or the other creeping near his helm.
Soundwave looked between him and his computer, with a slight turn of the helm as if he was questioning if Frostbite did anything to it. Instead of hurting the Vehicon as the other assumed he would, the spymaster stepped over him towards his control console, releasing the cables holding the suspect and skimmed through the last few searches. Of course, what came up were all the clips about Frostbite, and the Vehicon was mortified when the clip of him in his privacy weeks ago in the control deck played. Soundwave knew he knew.
What was going through Soundwave's mind was truly a mystery staring at his backside but when the visor shifted from the screen towards him, Frostbite's processor screamed at him to move. The door to the hall couldn't open fast enough. Nearly tripping over himself, he raced out not even contemplating the consequences of it.
The halls seemed long and unyielding with the echo of his footsteps. Then Soundwave's lighter, faster footsteps followed. He was determined to try and outrun the mech, or at least hide. There weren't many hiding places since Soundwave had almost every inch of the Nemesis covered by surveillance, all perhaps except...his own quarters. If he could trick Soundwave long enough by hiding in his quarters, he could escape but at the same time, he could be making a grievous mistake.
Do or die, Frostbite. Making up his mind when he was sure he took a different turn than Soundwave, he raced quickly to the mech's known quarters. As most private residences were locked up tight, it took special code cracking and a magic touch to get through them and he developed the former by sheer instinct over the years. The codes for the rooms often spun around a certain group of numbers associated with the bot in question. Megatron's was 416-00, the first part being his miner digits when he was younger. Soundwave's was 981-10 after a serial number for his creation. It took years of small glances and accidental crossed paths to figure each of them out but the pattern, once recognized, made it easier.
He dialed the code and the system let him in...until the screen went blank and displayed his worst enemy in pink.
SYSTEM ERROR: 54790
"You're joking me. Are you kidding me? Why?"
Frustrated, he immediately punched the keypad hard enough to see it glitch. He feared the worst but by a miracle, the error went away and the doors opened. He glared at the panel and rubbed his optical visor. Never had he ever dealt with such an error and yet, it happened three times in one day.
Closing the door, he slouched near the far computer across from an empty berth. In the corner, there was a space small enough that he could fit in and be almost invisible at certain angles. It was better than nothing. As far as he could tell, he had indeed lost Soundwave.
"Ah, what did I do here? My brashness of the situation never fails to get me. But I found out Soundwave stalks me. So, good or bad? Guess eventually I have to face him, be the better mech," he mumbled to himself.
He didn't know how long he waited for but he stayed put, not risking giving himself away until he was absolutely sure he was in the clear. He used his internal comm radio to scout for any loose Decepticon transmissions he could listen on. There was only one or two occasionally but nothing solid. However, he took note that each minute, his signal seemed to be getting worse as if something in Soundwave's room was scrambling it. He should have expected Soundwave to be crazy prepared for intrusion on his home.
Suddenly, footsteps emitted just beyond the door and he froze. Maybe it was another Vehicon? He made sure to silence his radio in case Soundwave decided to lock onto his frequency if he hadn't already. The footsteps stopped at the door and Frostbite could only stare at it in the darkness where he hid. A million emotions seemed to be running through his process, none of which were helpful to his predicament. To his chagrin, the door opened and Soundwave stood menacingly in the frame.
The mech didn't notice him so it confirmed he was well hidden. Soundwave did go to his computer and typed something which he wondered what it was until he heard familiar audio. The sounds of him pleasuring himself in the privacy of the vacant control deck at the time. It wasn't something he could forget now any time soon.
What got him was Soundwave seemed aroused by it. He knew when it came self-pleasure, most all Cybertronians reacted the same. Porn was porn, you took what you got, but Soundwave intentionally sought out his video. This was obsession, classic definition.
Something inside him stirred as he watched the mech twitch and heat began to gather near his interface panel. There was something hot about Soundwave watching his most explicit moments like a compliment almost. He palmed over his panel when he saw Soundwave touch his own. But then Soundwave paused and he had to stop as well. It took him a second to see the side glance in the opposite direction and the lack of response for Frostbite to realize something bad.
Soundwave could sense his arousal. That was his bad, now it was just a matter of not getting caught which he began to notice was about to become impossible when Soundwave suddenly spoke with his own voice clips from today mashed together.
"What do you know…Frostbite…are you…here?"
Of course he was. Soundwave turned away from him and the computer to the center of the room and slowly began peering around.
It was up to Frostbite now whether he ran or faced his stalker. Something told him to act on the latter and so, he stood silently and tried to cross over at least to the door so he could have some sort of escape route if all else failed. He got halfway when the Soundwave did a full one eighty to his shock as if the mech knew all along.
Frostbite didn't know what to do but Soundwave didn't lunge at him as he was anticipating. Finally, after a minute of awful staring, he snapped, "Why are you obsessed with me, huh? Why are you stalking me? I have just about had it with you and-and your creepy demeanor. You either tell me or I report you to Megatron for harassment."
Soundwave contemplated that and slowly, words typed upon his screen. ::I want you to be mine::
"You want me like want me?" He said slightly baffled. "Why should I let you have me?"
::You have been on my mind for months. I want to keep you as my own forever. You will be adored, wanted, paid attention to with as much as you want in return. Just give into your new master::
Half of that sounded appealing to his snarky nature, the "master" part was sketchy mainly because he wasn't that willing to be dormant in his attitude. If he was willing to give what Soundwave offered a chance, he was going to do it his way and Soundwave was going to play.
"What? As your own personal pet? Hmm. Sweet talk doesn't work much on me. But I'm now open for convincing. Keep in mind though, I'm a handful," he taunted.
Soundwave seemed to take that as a challenge and released his cables from his body, turning them to Frostbite. Slowly, Soundwave moved towards him and he backed away in equal pacing. He managed to get the berth between them and circled it as Soundwave did the same.
"Up until this moment, I was scared of you. You've never been perceived as fun by many of us, but I kind of see now what you truly are. You are demanding, take what you want, conquering, and above all shameless. Knockout, eat your spark out. Had you shown me this side of you before, I don't think I would have run. To be fair, I actually thought you were going to possibly rape then kill me if anything before."
He could see the spymaster was calculating a time to strike to try and capture him. In a split second, a tentacle lunged at his arm. He managed to snap his limb away and the pursuing appendage retreated back to a prowling position by the slender mech's chassis.
"Mm mm, I think I know what you want. You want someone who can keep up with you or better, make the thrill of the chase come alive. I can do things no other Vehicon can and you know it, but what is to say I won't abuse that power I have over you? What if when you're at a meeting, I send you naughty pictures, video, or texts? Will you come after me? Will you chase me?"
Frostbite heard internal fans kicking in barely as his teasing. So, Soundwave did like that idea. Perfect.
He rounded the berth for the third time, moving slightly faster when Soundwave did until suddenly the latter switched directions to his shock. He ended up bolting and ran around the room as the other mech sprinted after him. They ended up bouncing off the walls trying to avoid/catch one another. Soundwave even stumbled once by a rough turn on a corner but he recovered with no trouble at all.
During the run around, Frostbite hit the panel next to the door hoping it would open it but instead all it did was turn off the lights. It was dark enough to make it hard to see but that was good enough for him. He wanted to win their little game first before succumbing to his fate so giving Soundwave pumped up before interface would work in his favor.
He ducked behind the berth across from Soundwave before the other mech could see him and stayed silent. The footsteps of the larger mech made his spine shudder in anticipation. Slowly, he maneuvered around the berth on the floor and stood up to where he was behind the spymaster. It was such a rare opportunity to catch the Decepticon off track but he decided against it. Instead, he noiselessly crawled on top of the berth and sat with one leg resting inward, the other leg over it standing, and he had one arm supporting his weight on the platform while the other rested on top of his upright knee.
Soundwave was oblivious to him until the mech walked toward the panel he had touched and activated the lights. The purple coloring didn't brighten it too much but it certainly made everything in the room easier to spot...including him. As soon as Soundwave saw him not running, he knew that was it. He was Soundwave's to take.
The tentacles the mech supported quickly wrapped around his arms, and Soundwave was on him in an instant. Frostbite let the mech force his legs open to make room for himself while he was rearranged with his confined arms above his helm and his back pressed against the berth. Soundwave remained standing, touching his waist before dipping downward.
In a way, this was exactly what he felt like a Vehicon was to an officer like Soundwave, a toy to be used. As much as he tried to differentiate himself with all the other drones being the smartass he was, he ended up being the same thing and he didn't really hate it as much as he did before. If this was the punishment for insubordination, dub him a permanent offender.
Frostbite felt Soundwave's interface panel pushing hard against his, coaxing him to give in. He laughed to himself, "Impatient and aggressive. You speak to my soul."
::SYSTEM ERROR: 54790:: That displayed on Soundwave's screen and it took a moment for Frostbite to register what it meant. He stared gawking at it.
"No, that's your code? So, all those problems with computers showing that error, that was you...watching through them all activity displayed and teasing me by shutting down the system? I don't know whether to be impressed or annoyed."
Soundwave seemed to growl at that in a playful demeanor.
"And you knew I fled into your quarters when you let me in, playing that video to draw me out. Clever. But I will get you back for that, I hope you know," Frostbite huffed.
His systems heated at the thought of what the spymaster would do to him. Even more so, he wondered if those tentacles of Soundwave's would be used as well or maybe that was a later stage for future encounters. One tentacle end was long enough to caress his faceplates while restraining his arms, taunting him with the feelers attached. A digit tapped on his panel asking for permission and that's when he truly accepted his fate.
Revealing his valve, he half expected Soundwave to just ram him given how eager the mech seemed to be, but that didn't happen. Instead, by whatever show of kindness this was, Soundwave experimentally teased his opening with slim fingers before pushing in and Frostbite swore his entire processor was exploding.
He had never taken anything, only given. This was entirely new to him and he assumed somehow his new partner had figured that out by how gentle the usually demanding mech was being. His body, his gears and pumps moved as he breathed hoarsely from the stimulation. Soundwave was already knuckle deep with two digits going on three. His valve was leaking lubricant on the berth already as if it knew what was going to come next, that those prodding digits weren't the main event.
Frostbite moaned, calipers flaring in sensitivity when Soundwave went faster. "Ah! S-Soundwave! Please!"
"Please!...What?"
Although they were separate voice clips of him with different context, he could tell what the mech wanted to hear. He wanted to groom Soundwave's ego as much as possible. "Please, Master! Frag me!"
To the larger mech, the Vehicon was a desperate mess and that was exactly how he wanted him to be. Obeying and spreading him for Soundwave to take. Soundwave purred almost as the submissiveness, his panel retracting to show off a good-sized spike. Holding onto Frostbite's legs and positioning them around his waist, he lined his member with the slick valve after he removed his digits now coated with lubricant. Then he took his prey.
Frostbite was flustered as the spike entered him, pushing against his walls. Thankfully, there was no force so he had a moment to adjust. He got a warning on his optical screen for rising core temperatures and stimulated areas around his body. He dismissed them for the obvious information and bucked his hips slightly to test Soundwave's restraint.
It worked in his favor because Soundwave took the initiative and thrust into him. Everything in his system was blaring pleasurably and as the mech above started to pace against him, he couldn't help but moan loud. Each hit to his deepest nodes was sparking building pressure that he had never felt before. Screw being the dominant top in a relationship, he loved this a lot more.
"Sound-uhh-mm, yes! Harder!"
He felt the tentacles holding his wrists disappear but he hung onto the edge above his head still to keep himself steady. He arched off the berth a little when one particular thrust hit home. Soundwave hiked his leg up more to get a better angle and loomed over him. He could hear grunts from the mech which didn't sound like they were recordings. That was his real voice.
One tentacle threatened to join Soundwave's spike inside and Frostbite became weary that he wasn't going to be able to take that much inside him. Soundwave was big enough but those tentacles of his were thick. The other was crawling around his waist before dipping back to the inside of his thigh and around hi leg. Part of it brushed the exterior of his valve which caused another wave of pleasure to wash over him. To his sudden relief and amazement, Soundwave immediately acknowledged this and moved the tentacle near his stuffed entrance to above it on the exterior node. It latched on and the feelers pulsed.
"Ahh! Damn! Soundwave!" He cried out, one servo gripping the spymaster's own on his abdomen and the other covering his optic visor.
Overload was approaching fast with all the assault on his valve sensors and Soundwave was only quickening his pace to match. He could tell the mech currently fucking him was just as charged up as he was, making groaning sounds beneath the all-seeing visor of his. Vow of silence said nothing about sex though, did it?
Frostbite peered down and watched lustfully as the spike rushed into him before backing off over again, seeing disappear inside him like it belonged there. That image and the motions that his entire body was shaking to finally pulled him over and Soundwave even gave an unusual vocal cry of pleasure, a combination of what seemed to be his real voice and the synthetic sounds his visor could make. Frostbite's valve was overrun by the fluids of their rut gushing inside.
They both almost dented the berth from the tenseness of their overloads with Soundwave collapsing hard but catching himself before he crushed Frostbite. The Vehicon gave a worn laugh and shifted as the transfluid settled and kept his interior warm. The feeling was comforting, slightly aching when he moved a certain direction but otherwise fine.
"Wow."
Soundwave caressed his faceplates and he eagerly pressed his helm against the servo. Suddenly, his hud indicator went off alerting him of Captain attempting to call him. He refused to answer, instead basking in the aftermath of is rut.
"So, I take it you and I will grow more acquainted within the next few weeks?" He purred.
His newfound lover seemed to agree with that statement, nuzzling him. He felt bad having to break up their first time together but he knew if he didn't leave soon, Captain would run after him no matter where he was.
He sighed, "Listen, I have to go but I'll be sure to check in every once in a while. How about that?"
Soundwave gripped his hips tightly to emphasize that he would most likely be getting daily visits or so instead. He didn't argue with that deal. Perhaps just a few more minutes together wouldn't hurt. A few minutes turned into half an hour and by the time they did separate, he had to sprint out. Soundwave surprisingly let him this time.
He took the lift down to the lower level and quickly paced himself, only to run head first into Gunner and Devcon. His helm spun as the next instant he was on the ground and Gunner was adjacent to him. Devcon kept his balance standing but shook off the hit in an irate fashion.
"Watch where you're going, Frostbite! Damn," moaned Gunner holding his shoulder.
"Is something on fire or some scrap?" Devcon fumed, shrugging off the soreness.
Frostbite whipped upright off the floor and gestured madly, "I-I just...um...came from the main deck and Soundwave-!"
Just then, Captain appeared behind them, accompanied by The Matriarch and Forge. "What is going on here?"
All three Vehicon troops stood at attention despite some visible discomfort from being winded. Captain's attention turned on Frostbite in less than a second and he roughly grabbed the mech's arm.
"We were wondering where you were. They called your number and you didn't show up! I ordered you to report up to the Nemesis' exterior docking bay but you didn't! You made me look like an idiot and Megatron didn't look very happy either, I might add!"
Frostbite found his voice and tried to speak appropriately, "I was on my way and I got knocked out by an electrical surge. By the time I woke up, everyone was gone so I visited the main deck and kind of damaged Soundwave's computer, which I fixed, and...had a run in with him."
The Matriarch pushed forward to take Captain's place in front of him and he almost audibly gulped. Captain was hard to deal with sometimes, The Matriarch was a whole different type of leader. The scars on her faceplate were to be feared. Anybody in his position would have cowered just the same as he was. Slowly, she approached until she was almost visor to visor touching, and he noted how she was larger by a foot and wider in the shoulders. Overall, she seemed larger than a normal Vehicon but maybe that was just him.
She all but scowled, "You expect us to believe that, soldier?"
"A-at this point, I'm too spooked to be lying, sir."
Forge stepped between them when The Matriarch issued a low growl. "I believe him. I've worked with him long enough to know when he lies. This is not the case."
He then turned to Frostbite with a degree of unnerve in his voice. "What happened between you and Soundwave?"
Frostbite was hesitant to answer, "Soundwave...has been watching the control deck. He mentioned the meeting but I kind of zoned out about that. He just clarified that for me. That's all."
Devcon glanced at Gunner who shrugged. He then said, "So, he knows about...those conversations?"
"Yes, he has every single conversation that mentions him, the other superiors, everything! Why he hasn't reported it to Megatron...I'm not sure of either. But he just gave me a warning of sorts."
Captain rumbled to himself, "Whatever Soundwave wants is clearly personal if he hasn't spoken to Megatron about your behavior. Whatever happens between you and Soundwave is up to you to deal with. I'm too old to be getting into this scrap, that and I really don't care."
"Wow, love you too," Gunner quipped at Captain with a deadpan delivery.
Frostbite grimaced inside, still feeling the aftermath of their rut, "Yeah...personal."
"Relax," Devcon said, "Soundwave knows we do our jobs well. He's not going to report the best Vehicons for the job now, is he?"
The Matriarch gave a sigh, "Frostbite, just don't make skipping meetings a regular thing. They are dubbed important for a reason."
"Yes, sir," Frostbite muttered.
Captain took The Matriarch's place and crossed his arms, "That'll be all we need to know. We're going to go back to the training quarters and get the new batch of Vehicons settled. Devcon and Gunner will fill you in with what you've missed."
The three elders took their leave. Devcon and Gunner bickered amongst themselves about Soundwave, but Frostbite couldn't help but shiver slightly in anticipation. The fact that he enjoyed their time together made him curious if Soundwave would act on his promise return for him again or if he was just a one-time thing.
His answer almost came immediately like a call of fate itself. He got a personal notice from Soundwave to meet at the mech's quarters in the evening. Frostbite grew flushed and heated at the notion. He was Soundwave's true obsession after all. He certainly didn't seem to mind the more he thought about it.
"So, why was my name called?" He asked.
Devcon was still snickering, "Well, the superiors each need an assistant or two to catch up with work and your name was called. Coincidentally, it was Soundwave who requested you. He was very disappointed when you didn't show."
Oh. Oh. If that didn't explain a few things...
AN: Vehicon personalities I came up with solely for this story ended up becoming a few of my new favorite OCs, especially The Matriarch. I refuse to believe Soundwave wouldn't use his surveillance skills to spy on others during their most intimate moments. He's a voyeur and gets free shows. He also gets his own Vehicon, surprise surprise.
