Pikatwig: Well… I don't know how, but I ended up in a mood for Star Force. I have to say, of all the spin-offs, I think Star Force is my favorite of the Megaman sub-series. Shame it did so poorly. I do have some intention to watch and possibly review the anime, but we'll see how it goes. Anyway, I don't know how it hit me, but late at night, I thought of the idea of reimagining Star Force as a Kamen Rider story. One of my pals, GT, did try it, but ended up never finishing it. So, here we are, to do our own version. And, yes, I did mean "we".

Off-Screen Guy: Let's see if he gets stalled at the anti-Doctor Who barrier for the third time.

*Suddenly a large sword suddenly appeared from a hole in thin air. The sword proceeded to move down, leaving a tear in the air before it reached the ground. The tear ripped open and Muk and Susie walked out, sword in hand as the tear closed in on itself.*

Muk: Did someone say… Megaman Star Force?!

Susie: Was the tear in space necessary, boss?

Muk: It was either that or the portal canon, and this leaves less of a headache.

Off-Screen Guy: Why can't you ever enter like a normal person…?

Muk: Because normal is boring. You always got to make a big entrance!

Pikatwig: Anyway, hi Muk. And, yes, I said Megaman Star Force.

Muk: Talking about my favorite Megaman series and also my all time favorite DS games, yeah like heck I was being kept out of this loop.

Pikatwig: I'll admit that I've only seen videos of the first game, the crossover scenario in Operation: Shooting Star, some clips of the anime, and some of the music. So… talk about your experiences.

Muk: Might want to take a seat cause I got a story to tell. When I first got my DS, Megaman Star Force 3 was one of the first games I got. At first, I only recognized the Megaman in the title, as I had also played some of the Battle Network games. So I was confused to see this being a completely different game then I knew, but I went through with it and I consider that one of the best choices I have ever made. Since then I also got my hands on the first Star Force game, and still need to get the second one. But make no mistake, I absolutely love this series. Everything about it is great, the story, the battle system, the music, I love it all!

Off-Screen Guy: Just curious… how much of a grudge do you hold towards him for accidentally spoiling part of Star Force 2 for you?

Pikatwig: In my defense, I thought he had played all three games already…

Muk: At the time, I was rather upset about that. But I have essentially gotten over it… although I am never gonna drop it, just FYI.

Pikatwig: Like me with you forgetting the meaning of the word 'subtle' and me needing to bring out the dictionary definition of it?

Muk: Touché my friend… touché.

Pikatwig: Anyway… we're mixing Star Force with Kamen Rider. I'll admit that, when I thought of it, I began to write the ideas down in a Discord server we're in because I was hoping to have somebody who actually played the games, since this will be retelling/reimagining all three games in the series.

Muk: And with me being the Star Force fanatic I am, I took note of these ideas, gave my opinions on them and boom, here we are with a collab!

Pikatwig: So… you may wanna either get on getting Star Force 2 or watching a playthrough of it online.

Muk: Greatly noted. Susie put that on the schedule!

Susie: Roger boss. *Makes a note on a tablet.*

Pikatwig: Anyway, one thing I want to make mention of is that we wrote a short preview in order to get out some ideas of the story prior to this point. And, one thing mentioned in that, is that we're aging up the characters. We at least knew Geo and his friends were elementary school aged based on the games, but Operation: Shooting Star has Geo outright say that he is 11, and we know that Sonia is the same age as him. *exhales* That makes a plot point in that "crossover" a bit creepier, but whatever.

Muk: Honestly ageing them up makes a whole lot of sense. I played through these games thinking they were all like fourteen so I was shocked to hear they were just 11. Especially considering a lot of the stuff they go through seems a bit much for eleven year olds!

Pikatwig: Yeah, so we're aging them up to be a bit closer to thirteen and fourteen. Plus, at least to me, it meshes better with their designs.

Muk: Yeah that too.

Pikatwig: And, before we get asked, we may do something with Operation: Shooting Star at some point, but I really don't know what we can do with the little we know of the scrapped Star Force 4.

Susie: Oh you should not have mentioned that.

Pikatwig: Wh-

Muk: Ah, why?! Why did they scrap it?! I have been waiting for so long for news about a sequel, and to hear that there was one in the works that got canceled! Why Capcom, why put it in the pile of scrapped sequels with Legends 3?!

Susie: Yeah, he… tends to get a bit ranty when that is mentioned.

Pikatwig: Well… given how it was the heads behind Star Force that got us Megaman 11, who knows?

Muk: Ugh… *lies down*

Pikatwig: Anyway, Star Force + Kamen Rider. With something I know that'll perk you up.

Muk: …

Pikatwig: The main ship is Geo and Sonia.

Muk: *stands right back up, now with a shirt with the two characters on it* And just like that my spirit is rejuvenated.

Susie: ...where did you get that shirt from?

Muk: Custom shirt maker. I have one for all my favorite ships.

Susie: ...I should learn to stop questioning these things.

Pikatwig: Yeah. I'll admit, I don't quite get why people ship Geo with Luna. They just seem so… incompatible.

Muk: YES! They do not get along at all, it just doesn't make sense! I will never understand why people choose that ship over Geo and Sonia!

Pikatwig: Eh. If anybody wants to show their perspective, then at least be willing to say so. Anyway, as we are covering three, possibly four, games worth of material here, not everything is going to be one-to-one the same.

Muk: Yeah with so much to work with of course there are going to be a few differences here and there compared to the original games. But that works for us as we're essentially adding our own spin to them.

Pikatwig: Yeah. But, enough talk, let's start.

Disclaimers: We do not own the rights to Kamen Rider, Mega Man, or anything else but the original stuff we came up with. Everything else belongs to Toei, BandaiNamco, Capcom, etc.

2217

A young boy, age ten, stood by the door of his house. He could only watch as he and his mother took in the harsh news that was just given to them by a man outside of their home.

"No… he's still alive… right…?" the boy asked.

The man looked down at the boys with somber eyes before covering them with his cap, "The station he was on lost all contact with us. And there was a huge spike of energy before it was cut off. I'm sorry, Geo, but your father's gone."

The young boy, Geo, began to tear up as his mother bent down to hold him, tears in her own eyes as well.

Present Day, 2220

A body began to stir in a house in Echo Ridge, as the head of a thirteen year old boy popped out of the covers of his bed.

"...memories…" he sighed, rubbing away some tears. He looked towards a small device on his nightstand and saw the date, then pulled himself under his bedding, "...no. I'm not getting up today."

Meanwhile, up in the stars above, there were several stars of different shapes and colors grouped together. These stars seemed alive, as they moved in different ways away from any asteroids in their way. They were heading somewhere, there was one place that they had set their destination on. And while they were still a ways away, they were nearing it. They were headed straight towards the Earth…

It was now early in the morning as students were heading off to class. However, Geo simply remained under the covers of his bed.

"HEY~!" a shrill, female, voice yelled.

Geo just groaned a bit as he put his pillow over his ear to muffle the noise out.

"You BETTER get out here if you know what's good for you!" the shrill voice yelled.

Geo groaned louder, trying to block out the annoying voice, but they just continued yelling at a volume that he swore would burst his eardrums if he kept hearing it. Luckily for him, the voice finally stopped after another minute or two. Geo then simply repositioned himself in order to try to go back to sleep… only to hear a knock at his door.

"Geo? Did you know who that was?" a calm, older, female voice asked.

"No, Okaa-san, I don't," Geo told her.

"Just figured I would ask," she responded, "Do you intend to get out of your room today or no?"

"...we'll see…"

"Alright. I'll leave you alone," the voice responded, walking away from Geo's door.

"Honestly, the nerve of that kid!" the shrill voice growled. She looked to be about 13, maybe 14, was a blonde with large pigtails tied together with a red bow, a blue dress over a white collared shirt, light blue knee socks with a white spiral pattern, and blue shoes with orange soles, "I go out of my way to come to their house, and they don't even give a single response!"

"Prez, if you want us to be on time, we need to go!" a gruff male voice, who was large and round, wearing brown, open overalls with a yellow shirt that had a fork and knife symbol, black shoes, and an orange head protector, reminded the blonde.

"Right, right," she shrugged before she, the rounder boy, and a much shorter boy hurried off.

Meanwhile, in another part of the city, was a teenager simply strumming a guitar. She had a bit of a blank expression as she practiced, yet there was some somberness in it.

Morning soon turned into afternoon. Geo had simply spent the day in his room, doing some assignments for an online class, before he looked out the window at the slowly setting sun. His eyes then slowly turned towards a framed picture that was face down on the desk and he rubbed away some tears.

"HEY~!" the same shrill voice yelled out.

"For the love of…" Geo muttered.

"WHERE WERE YOU?!"

Without saying another word, Geo simply went back onto his computer, pulled up a song, and put some earbuds on in order to drown out the sounds from outside. He smiled a bit as he got out a small sketchbook and doodled a little bit before gently singing with the song he had playing, "Dengeki inazuma neppuu… dengeki inazuma neppuu… Doragon Rōdo wo tobase, Doragon Rōdo wo tobase…"

"Dengeki inazuma neppu! Dengeki inazuma neppu! Jigoku no kage fukai yami wo sake!" a much younger Geo sung.

"Looks like somebody found your old Kamen Rider playlist…" Geo's mother commented.

Geo's father couldn't help but chuckle a little in response, happy to see his son taking a liking to something that he also liked. He walked on over to Geo and simply smiled.

"Glad you're smiling," Geo's father told him.

Without a second thought, Geo paused the song and gently exhaled. He rubbed away a stray tear that had formed by his eyes and then looked down at the page he had been doodling on. It was a very simple drawing of what looked like a Kamen Rider with the classic Showa Era bug-eyes on the helmet, but the rest was more scratches that didn't really form anything. He flipped towards another page, seeing the top was labeled 'Star Force Driver', and was a bit more completed. The belt depicted in the sketch was a hexagon with insertion slots near the top, near the sides, and had a center with a note labeling 'spin counterclockwise'. He just gave off a sigh before he pulled out the earbuds, hearing that whatever noise was coming from outside had stopped.

"Oh finally, they're gone," he muttered to himself, "I swear something is up with them for them screeching like such a banshee."

Evening soon rolled around and Geo's mother had returned. She was a woman about in her thirties, with brown hair, brown eyes, a pale purple top, blue jeans, and green shoes on. She gave off a small sigh as she walked on into the living room and then looked towards a framed picture of herself with a younger Geo and her husband.

"Konbanwa," a male voice greeted.

Mrs. Stelar turned to see a man around her age walk in. The man had on a blue jacket with red lines and a patch that read 'AMAKEN' on the arm, green pants, blue shoes, and a blue cap that also said 'AMAKEN.'

"Konbanwa, Amachi-san," she greeted politely.

"Sorry if I invited myself in…" Amachi apologized, "I just wanted to see how you and Geo were doing."

"That's very kind of you," she thanked, "And it's no trouble, you're always welcomed here."

Amachi nodded in understanding, "Where is Geo anyways?"

"He's been in his room all day," Mrs. Stelar responded. She then gave off a sad exhale, "It's the third year since his father's disappearance, so I don't really blame him."

"Also, I saw some kid that was yelling not too long ago. What was that about?" Amachi couldn't help but ask.

"I think she's supposed to be one of Geo's classmates if he actually went to the school…" Mrs. Stelar guessed, "She is… a bit of a headache, just screaming non-stop. I know that she's well intentioned, but that doesn't make it any less tiresome to hear her yelling…"

Amachi chuckled a little bit in response as he took a seat, "Yeah, I imagine that would get on anyone's nerves."

There was silence in the household for a few minutes before it was broken by the sound of somebody walking down the stairs. Mrs. Stelar and Amachi turned to see Geo had exited the staircase and had a bit of a blank, yet calm, expression.

"Konbanwa, Geo," Mrs. Stelar greeted.

"Hi…" he responded, nearly emotionlessly.

"Geo, there's someone here who I'd like you to meet," she stated. Geo faced her to see Amachi, who waved at him.

"Hi…"

"This is Mamoru Amachi," Mrs. Stelar introduced.

"...which is first?" Geo asked.

"Mamoru."

Geo nodded and gave a small wave to Mamoru, "Nice to meet you, Amachi-san."

"No need for formalities, Geo," Mamoru assured the kid, "Nice to finally meet you, Geo. I've heard a lot about you from when I worked with your dad."

"...ok…"

"And, well, your father had said he wanted you to be given something that he was working on. It's finally been finished, so you can have it," Mamoru informed, taking out a small box from his jacket.

"...thank you…" Geo softly responded, taking the box and opening it to reveal a pair of light-blue lensed sunglasses of sorts. He proceeded to put them on and then noticed orange energy just above him, "What the…?"

"It's called the Visualizer. It lets you see EM Waves which normally can't be seen with the naked eye," Mamoru explained.

"Wow…" Geo gawked for a moment. He simply looked around, seeing the EM Waves almost forming a kind of road. He chuckled a little bit, then set the Visualizer atop his head, "Okay… that's pretty cool."

"Glad you like it," Mamoru smiled.

Geo simply gave a nod of his head, then looked to his mom, "I'm going to be heading out to Vista Point. It's gonna be a clear night so I'll be able to see the stars well."

"Don't forget your Transer," she reminded.

He then proceeded to quickly head back up the stairs, then came back with a light and dark blue device on his wrist. Geo then headed outside, the sky already becoming dark, and proceeded to walk towards Visa Point.

Within the atmosphere above the Earth, the cluster of stars seemed to stop. However, one blue one simply kept on going without any intention of stopping. The largest star, which was a kind of greenish shade, simply motioned for a red star to give chase. The red star nodded before it headed in pursuit, soon followed by several small white stars.

"This planet…" the greenish star remarked, staring down at the Earth, "Is our target…"

Down below, Geo walked along towards Vista Point in silence. He was mostly uninterrupted and would've gotten there without any delays.

"There you are!"

Geo halted and cringed at the sound of that shrill voice again. "You have got to be kidding me…" he groaned.

The blonde teen and her round friend approached Geo. Geo was about to try to walk away, but another boy blocked his path. This boy is the shortest of the group, wearing a beige shirt followed by a yellow tie, green shorts with a darker green stripe running across the bottom, green shoes, and a pair of glasses with a dark blue rim.

"...can you leave me alone?" Geo requested.

"Not a chance," the boy said just as the other two joined them.

"...who even are you?" Geo exhaled, "I know you're the shrill and annoying voice that pesters me on a nearly daily basis, but aside from that I have no clue."

The blonde took a step back in stunned shock at Geo's blunt remark, "S-Shrill and annoying?! How dare you, I am Luna Platz, Class President of Class 5-A at Echo Ridge Middle School. The same class and school that you're supposed to be in!"

"...ok. And you keep bothering me why?" Geo asked with an annoyed tone.

"Because you need to go to school!" the blonde, Luna, yelled.

"...what?"

"You heard the Prez, punk!" the larger boy exclaimed, "She's telling you that you need to get going to school."

"Easy there, Bud. You don't want to hurt the guy…" the shorter boy remarked.

"You've been absent for far too long," Luna continued, "As Class President it is my responsibility that all students attend school, so it's time for you to come back to school!"

Geo simply gave an annoyed roll of his eyes at the trio's reasoning, "If that's all you have to say then there's no point of me being here. Can I go now?"

"Not so fast!" the rounder one, Bud, shouted as he got closer to Geo, "What the Prez says, goes. If she says you're going to school, then you're going."

"You do realize it's night, right?" Geo questioned.

Bud, however, wasn't having any of it as he lunged at Geo, but he was able to get out of the way. Bud turned back to lunge at him again, but was stopped when Geo hit him in the stomach. Bud stumbled back in pain as Luna and the smaller boy were in shock of what happened. Geo didn't stay for long as he immediately ran away before any of them could fully process what happened.

Geo gave off an exhausted sigh as he looked around Vista Point. Once he was sure that he wasn't followed, he walked over to the edge and leaned on the metal railing. He looked up into the night sky, gazing at all the stars that decorated it. He gave off a small sigh as he looked at the sky with the Visualizer on his eyes, thoughts and memories of his father coming to his mind.

"Otou-san… I miss you…" Geo muttered, trying to remain composed.

"Bud! What was that?!" Luna yelled.

Bud groaned as he held a hand on his stomach where Geo had struck him, "Didn't expect him to hit back… or to hit so hard… ow."

"You're useless! You had one job and you blew it!" she scolded.

"Prez, don't you think you're being a little harsh?" the shorter boy asked.

"Quiet, Zack! I can't have a member of my council fail at a simple task," she responded harshly, "Unless he can prove himself, Bud can't be of any use." Finished speaking, Luna proceeded to walk off. Zack looked back at Bud before following Luna, albeit hesitantly.

Bud was now all alone, with a few tears in his eyes, before the sadness gave way to anger, "It's all that stupid Stelar's fault! If he just went to school…"

Just above Bud was the red star that had chased after the blue one. It gave a look to the teen before it flew down towards him and landed right in front of him. The star seemed to transform into a red fire with white eyes that gazed down at the boy.

"You've been abandoned, child. Thrown away by the one you were the most loyal to. Are you going to surrender?" the fire questioned.

"No! I'm not gonna call it quits like that!" Bud exclaimed.

"Then, tell me, young one. What is your wish?"

"My wish? I wish to get revenge on that dumb kid and show my strength to the Prez!" Bud nearly yelled.

"Very well. The stars now connect us…" the red fire responded before it spawned an item before Bud. The item had a circular black base to it with a centerpiece that was folded downwards in the center. Bud then flipped it open and the centerpiece sprang forward, being a kind of bull's head with fire around it.

=MIGHT…=

The red fire then transformed into a kind of mask and flew over Bud's face...

Up at Vista Point, Geo tried to gain his composure, but it quickly slipped away and tears tripped down from his eyes. Just above him, the blue star that was flying in the sky seemed to stop and take notice of him. It stood still for a moment before it flew down towards Geo, stopping right in front of him as it transformed.

"The sadness in your heart… it yearns to give way to rage…" a voice spoke to Geo.

"Huh?" Geo questioned, looking up to see a blue fire with red eyes before him. He gasped and moved back, "What the heck?!"

"I can sense the negativity that you are feeling. Tell me, what is it that you wish the most?"

"...what are you, some sort of… fire Imagin or something?!" Geo questioned.

"I have no idea what you're talking about, kid…" the blue fire remarked.

Geo then ended up pulling his Visualizer over his eyes. This made the blue fire change shape into something else completely. It was now a large being mostly made of green energy. It had blue armor plates on its chest and shoulders as a chestplate, bands on its wrist, and a blue head resembling a beast with a silver plate on its forehead.

"...what… are you…?" Geo questioned.

"It doesn't matter!" the being responded, "Look, kid! I have something that I need to do, and you are going to help me with it! What is your wish?"

"...now you're definitely sounding like an Imagin…" Geo muttered, "Okay. Let's assume for a second here that you want to give me this wish. What would that entail? Turning me into a monster or something?"

"...oh… cr**. Look, I don't have time for this, do you want your wish or not?"

Geo just stared for a moment before the being in front of him generated a trinket in his hands. The trinket in Geo's hands was similar to the one that Bud had, but this one seemed to have a comet's trail mixed with the face of a wolf as the centerpiece.

"No deal."

"...are you serious right now?"

"Some strange creature suddenly appears, asking me what my wish is, and then gives me some weird object. Who would accept something like that without any explanation," Geo stated.

Suddenly, there was a loud explosion and Geo could see a fire had started not too far away from them. The other people at Vista Point began to panic as white stars zoomed towards them. When the stars landed before them, two different sets of monsters appeared. Some of them were small and black, wearing a yellow helmet with a green cross. The rest were humanoid beings with red eyes glowing under black masks, spikes on its shoulder and head with a ring around their head spike.

"What… the heck…?" Geo questioned.

"Kid, if you want to fight them, you're going to have to tell me what you want your wish to be!" the creature in the fires told Geo.

"Don't need it," Geo retorted as he quickly ran over and kicked away one of the smaller monsters. He then turned towards the people that were at the area, "Go on! Get out of here!"

Another of the small monsters jumped towards him, but Geo just kicked it away. The nearby people quickly started to make a run for it, while Geo remained by himself. One of the taller monsters approached him and just when Geo was about to hit it, it just smacked him away and sent him against a wall. The monster then approached Geo and grabbed him by his neck.

"Kid! You are going to die! I can help you! Just tell me your wish!"

Geo didn't respond towards the creature for a moment, grasping for air. He then looked up at the sky, and could see a star was glowing. Suddenly, the star glowed a light blue, and shot down a beam of energy towards Geo and the alien creature that had appeared before him earlier…

Geo opened his eyes and saw he was in a white void, and the creature beside him was no longer the blue fire, but the form Geo could see with the Visualizer.

"You are in danger, yet you did not hesitate to fight…" a calm voice told Geo. Geo then looked to see what looked to be some sort of cluster of stars in the shape of the Pegasus constellation, "You were approached by an EM Being, yet did not give into the temptation of your heart's desire. You are a human with a strong heart."

"Are you with this guy?" Geo couldn't help but question.

"No."

"Alright, I'm listening."

"Gee, thanks kid."

"You and the EM Being before you must work together to stop this threat. It is the only way. However, I can grant you the power to use his strength in a safe way…" the constellation continued as a mysterious sort of blue metal floated towards Geo, "Mold this however you see fit, child."

Geo took the metal into his hands before he then noticed the trinket that he had obtained earlier was now glowing. It shined off a small blue light before it turned into a new shape. It was still the same sort of shape that it was before, but the rim was now a silver color, and the centerpiece was now in the shape of what looked to be some sort of a bulky gun with a comet's trail seemingly being fired.

"What… did you do to the Denpa Modulator?!" the alien questioned.

"This youth has purified it from its corrupted shape. He can now use it safely within the weapon that he wants…"

"That is mine! You don't go messing with what belongs to Omega-Xis and get away with it!" the alien declared.

Geo didn't respond to Omega-Xis for a bit as he looked towards the strange metal. It was all a dark blue shade that seemed to resemble the night sky, yet it was soft and malleable as he could morph it with ease. Geo then began to think a little before he smiled, "Well, if this can be whatever I want… then come forth, Star Force Driver!"

With that, Geo flung the metal into the air and it began to spiral as if it were a galaxy. It then spawned into the shape of the belt that he had drawn out and he could only smile at it.

"Let's do this…"

Geo was now separated from the alien that had pinned him down, with the Star Force Driver and the Denpa Modulator in his hands. He simply smiled as he donned the belt, a silver strap wrapping around him.

=STAR FORCE DRIVER!=

He then pressed a button atop it and the orb in the center gave off a small glow.

=WAVE RIDE, STANDBY!=

As a guitar melody started to softly play from the belt, Geo took out the Denpa Modulator and flipped the centerpiece to the front. The Denpa Modulator gave off a small glow as it was activated.

=MEGA!=

Geo then quickly slotted it into the top left slot of the Driver.

=MEGA, READY! OK?=

The standby melody gained a bit more energy and grew louder as Geo moved his hand towards the center orb and then smirked.

"Henshin!"

Thus, he spun the orb in a counterclockwise direction, which then generated a blue ring of energy around him.

=RIDE ON!=

The energy ring around him continued to spin, gaining speed, before it surrounded him. Omega-Xis, who had just been watching this unfold, was then forcibly dragged over the now glowing Geo and seemed to merge with him. An energy bubble formed around Geo's body, blinding the foes around them. After a bit of time, the energy bubble faded away and revealed a new form. Now, Geo stood as a figure in blue armor with silver lining decorating it. On his chest was a golden arrow resembling a shooting star, and for his left hand he had a small canon like device. The helmet had a standard Rider look to it with red bug-eyes, yet also had blue spikes around the backside, almost resembling a mane or a comet's tail.

"I… did it…" Geo gawked as he looked himself over, "I… actually did it! I turned into a Kamen Rider! SUGEE!"

=Oi, kid! What's the big idea?!=

The Rider then looked towards his right hand and saw his Transer was still there. Now, on the screen though, was the face of Omega-Xis.

=What gave you the right to force me into this?!=

"I wasn't really expecting this to happen either. I was so caught up in the transformation that I kind of forgot all about you," the Rider answered sheepishly.

=Ugh…=

"But, that guy who gave me this belt said we'll need to work together. Can I trust you?"

=Eh. I was looking to leave those guys anyway. Let's go buck wild, kid!=

The Rider simply smiled as he charged forward and punched one of the taller monsters, which was knocked back a good distance upon impact. The Rider took a moment to shake his hand a little, seeing that it didn't feel any worse from the punch. Geo could only smirk under his helmet after seeing just how strong he was now.

As the monster proceeded to get up, Geo aimed the canon on his hand at it. He quickly fired off some shots at it, each one exploding upon contact. One of the taller monsters made a lunge towards him, but the Rider effortlessly dodged out of the way and fired off a larger blast from the buster.

"Wow…" the Rider gawked as he looked towards his canon, "That was amazing!"

Suddenly, he could almost smell something on fire nearby. The Rider simply rested his hand on his buster as there was a loud sound that charged towards him that was only getting louder. When it sounded close, the Rider saw a giant monster running around. The monster resembled a large, mechanical bull standing on its hind legs with armor that was mostly red. Its arms were huge with flames constantly shooting out of its elbows.

"What… the heck…?" the Rider questioned.

=Ack. Seems Taurus managed to forge a connection with a human.=

"...in other words, what would've happened to me had I accepted your offer?"

=Besides the point! We got a bigger issue right now!=

"STELAR! WHERE IS HE?!" the monster yelled out in anger.

"...peachy…" the Rider muttered.

"Out of my way, puny human!"

"I'm no mere human. I'm a Kamen Rider! Kamen Rider…" he began, before he blanked on what his name would be. He then quickly thought it over and then smiled as he held his buster ready, "Kamen Rider Mega!"

"I have no idea what this being even is. But if it even thinks it can stop me, I'll burn it to a crisp!"

"Taurus Fire has no time for you!" the monster yelled.

=Kid, we need to act fast. Grab onto him, I have an idea!=

"...why?"

=Just do it!=

Mega just shrugged and then grabbed onto Taurus Fire. Energy then began to shine off of both of them and they disappeared from the area.

Both soon teleported up onto the EM Waves that Geo had seen earlier. Taurus Fire let out an angered growl and began to run around without aim.

"...what… was that?" Mega questioned.

=I got us onto the Wave World. That way, our battle won't cause any unnecessary problems. So there's nothing keeping us from taking him down.=

Mega just gave a nod in response, before noticing that Taurus Fire was running off at an incredible speed. He then looked around, then noticing how energy was seeming to flow off of the edge of the Wave Road they were on top of…

(Insert Song: Wave Battle, Star Force 1 OST)

As Taurus Fire continued to run, he left a trail of fire behind him. Suddenly, he heard what sounded like somebody was grinding on a rail and turned to see that Mega was, indeed, grinding on the edge of the Wave Road.

"Persistent little pest…" the voice of the EM Being growled.

"I don't care about him!" Taurus Fire yelled, only to get shot in the back.

"Well, I care about you. Stopping you, in fact!" Mega declared, jumping off of the Wave Road grind he was doing and firing off a charge blast from his buster right in Taurus Fire's face.

Taurus Fire stumbled from the blast, soon growling in anger as he glared at the Rider, "Fine, you want to get in my way, I'll just crush you then!"

Thus, after scraping at the ground like a bull, Taurus Fire came charging right at Mega. Mega just narrowly managed to roll out of the way, but Taurus Fire turned right around to go for another attempt at ramming him. The sudden turn around caught Mega off guard and he got rammed right in the back, sending him tumbling across the energy road. Taurus Fire then ran up to him, grabbed him by the helmet, and dragged him along the ground. Mega was able to start blasting at his face, which slowed Taurus Fire down a bit, but not by much.

Taurus Fire then came to a stop as he lifted Mega in the air before sending him flying with a single punch. Mega skidded across the ground, groaning in pain before getting up.

"FIRE WAVES!" he then yelled, sending a burst of fire along the Wave Road right towards Mega.

Mega ended up rolling off of the side of the Wave Road, but managed to grab onto its edge to keep himself from falling off of it. Taurus Fire just laughed before running off like he wasn't there anymore.

"Okay… that kind of hurt…" Mega admitted as he pulled himself up, the fire slowly disappearing. He took a moment to catch his breath as he looked in the direction Taurus Fire was running off to, "Also… where is that idiot going?"

=Beats me. We gotta get after him!=

Mega simply nodded his head, got a bit of a running start, and then began to grind the Wave Road edge once again.

(End Insert Song)

Elsewhere, down in the real world, a large gathering of people cheered as a single person was performing on a stage. She finished the song and then headed backstage to catch her breath, getting some water, and rubbing her forehead a little bit.

"Alright then, Misora, just one more song and you're done for the night!" a man dressed in a brown suit and green shades informed her.

"Hai, hai, hai… (Yea, yea, yea…)" the girl, 'Misora', responded. She then took a sip of the water she had.

"Don't sound so rude!" the man told her.

"Hai, hai, hai, hai, hai," she responded with a small shrug, setting the water aside.

Up above in the Wave Road, Taurus Fire ended up stopping about where this concert was taking place and looked down as the girl got back on stage.

"Okay, everybody! Last song of the night!" 'Misora' declared, "And I think you all know what this one is going to be!"

Taurus Fire simply stopped what he was doing as the girl began to strum her guitar a little. As he watched, he didn't seem to hear a certain someone grinding and getting closer.

"Mi~ageru sora wa… kokoro ni… tsumoru negai no iro… egaku~ yume wo~ utsushi dasu~... (Now look in the sky… in my heart… where wishes pile up and lie… that picture from the dream will reflect…)"

With Taurus Fire distracted, Mega opened fired just as the performer and the band she was with started to rock out. Taurus Fire roared as he faced Mega, only to get a fist to the face as the Rider jumped off the edge and punched him. The band continued to play, the melody being led by the guitar, before the girl continued to sing.

"Tobikau signal sore zore no kyou wo nosete! Onaji shuuhasuu kasane ai kimi to hanasu! (A signal flows past today, flowing endlessly forward! A familiar frequency distorts what you want to say!)"

Mega switched his buster arm back into its gun mode and opened fire on Taurus Fire, who brought his arms to block the shots. He brought an arm down on where Mega was, but he lept back to avoid the hit as he landed another shot on Taurus Fire.

"Mayoi~ tamerai wo furikiri~... Soko ni~ aru hazu no michi wo ikou! (I'm lost while I try to shake off this hesitation… The path over there is the one I will take!)"

Taurus Fire just let out an angered growl as he tried to grab Mega, but the Rider just jumped off of him and punched him upside the head. The punch stunned Taurus Fire long enough for Mega to spin and land a roundhouse kick on him, which knocked him back a bit.

"Miageru... sora wa~ kokoro ni tsumoru negai no iro, egaku~ yume wo utsushi dasu~! Kanarazu~! Itsuka kono te ni fureru asu e no chizu, tsuyoku takaku todokuma~de! Kagayaite~! (Now... look in the sky in my heart where wishes pile up and lie that picture from the dream will reflect! Most certainly~! Someday, with these hands, you'll be strong high up in a place not yet reached! Shine o~n!)" the singer continued before going right into a bit of a guitar solo.

Taurus Fire roared in anger as it charged at Mega at full speed. However, Mega just stood in place as he started charging his blaster. He then ran towards the oncoming monster, managing to avoid getting hit by sliding under him. As he was sliding he aimed his blaster, now fully charged, at Taurus Fire's chest and fired a clean shot on him.

The guitar solo continued for a bit before the girl resumed singing, "Mayoi~ tamerai wo furikiri~... Soko ni~ aru hazu no michi wo ikou! Miageru… (I'm lost while I try to shake off this hesitation… The path over there is the one I will take! Now...)"

Taurus Fire was on a knee as he was panting, but soon fired a wave of fire right at Mega. However, the Rider managed to leap over the flames right towards the large bull monster. He thrusted his blaster at his face and fired a shot point blank, making Taurus Fire roar in pain.

"Sora wa~ kokoro ni tsumoru negai no iro, egaku~ yume wo utsushi dasu~! Kanarazu~! Itsuka~ kono te ni fureru asu e no chizu, tsuyoku takaku todokuma~de~! (Look in the sky in my heart where wishes pile up and lie that picture from the dream will reflect! Most certainly~! Someday, with these hands, you'll be strong high up in a place not yet reached!)" she happily continued, the crowd cheering for her in excitement.

=Kid, now! Finish him!=

Mega nodded a bit before he noticed a Wave Road at a higher elevation. He then got an idea, smirking under his helmet as he jumped up to the higher Wave Road.

Someday, with these hands, you'll be strong high up in a place not yet reached!)"

Mega then pressed a button on the top of the Star Force Driver, took out the Mega Denpa Modulator from the top left slot, and then inserted it onto a slot on the bottom right spot and flipped the center image down.

=MEGA STANDBY! READY?=

He let the energy charge up in his leg, as a targeting reticle appeared on his visor, slowly lining up, before flipping the Denpa Modulator back up.

"Kagayaite~~! (Shine o~~n!)"

=GO! MEGA NOVA!=

"Kagayaite~! (Shine o~n!)"

Mega leaped off of the higher elevated Wave Road and soared down towards Taurus Fire with energy trailing by him, giving him the appearance of a comet soaring in the sky.

"RIDER~ KI~CK!"

"Kagayaite~~~~! (Shine o~~~~n!)" the girl sung out, then going into a guitar solo.

Taurus Fire looked up to see Mega coming at him at blazing speed. Before he could do anything, Mega landed his kick dead center of Taurus Fire's chest. The monster roared in pain, feeling the power of the attack before Mega, with one final shout, went through Taurus Fire. He skidded on the ground before coming to a complete stop. Taurus Fire ended up blowing up, with an unconscious Bud and his mask falling onto the Wave Road, unconscious, but alive.

Down below, the band had stopped playing, apart from their lead singer/guitarist, who took on a slower pace as she played the last few lines, "Sora wa~... kokoro ni... tsumoru negai no iro, tsuyoku~ takaku~ todokuma~de~! Kagayaite~... (Look in the sky… in my heart… you'll be strong high up in a place not yet reached. Shine o~n…)"

Mega looked down at the concert, albeit was not able to make out anything about the singer or her band, and smiled, "Nice song."

=Is this the kind of thing you humans find entertainment in?= Omega-Xis couldn't help but ask.

"Eh, kind of."

Not too long later, Geo was now back in the real world, but was now at the concert's merchandise area. He saw some CD cases were on sale, but didn't see any prices for it. He walked up to the person selling them and got their attention, "How much for one CD?"

"They're being given out free tonight. But only one free copy per person," the employee informed.

"Oh, ok," Geo nodded as he accepted the copy, "Thank you."

"Hope you enjoyed the concert, kid," the employee responded.

Geo said nothing in response, looked around for a moment, and then jumped back onto the Wave Road. Nearby, Luna and Zack were walking by and then noticed the unconscious Bud, who was now back in the real world.

"I guess he must've passed out trying to make it here…" Zack guessed.

"Unbelievable, what am I going to do with this oaf?" Luna sighed, "Also, that Misora girl? Blah! What kind of music was that? ...if it could even be called music."

"A~choo!"

"Misora, are you okay?!" the man from earlier asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine," she assured, taking out a tissue. She exhaled after a moment and then set her guitar away. She stretched a little bit, lying down on a nearby sofa and just relaxing. Unbeknownst to her, a small star in the sky seemed to be glowing a faint pink shade and keeping an eye on her in spite of having no eyes.

"Well, kid. I guess we're going to be working together from now on…" Omega-Xis figured as he and Geo soon returned to Vista Point.

"Looks like it, Omega. Mind if I call you that for short?" he asked.

"Eh, that's fine," Omega agreed, "And I doubt this, but saying it regardless, let me know if you ever want to use that wish."

Geo said nothing in response as he began to walk home for the evening, a smile on his face…

Jikai, Kamen Rider Mega…

Geo: What do you mean it's rampaging again?!

Omega-Xis: We didn't separate the kid from the Modulator. Without that, he'll keep being able to turn into that monster!

Geo: Why didn't you tell me that sooner?!

Omega-Xis: You didn't ask.

Geo: THAT'S NOT AN EXCUSE!

Wave 002: The Flame On of Taurus!

Geo: Wave Battle, Ride On!

Pikatwig: And that was the first chapter.

Muk: The first of many to come for this crossover.

Pikatwig: I honestly don't know how long this will end up being, hence why the chapter numbers are triple digits.

Susie: You really think you guys'll get to 100 chapters?

Pikatwig: More meant as a precaution. Considering we are covering three games worth of material, can you blame the precaution?

Susie: Fair enough.

Pikatwig: Also, for people who played the three games, you'll need to go into this with some different expectations since plot points will be changed and altered. This is a good example as Geo didn't fight Taurus Fire when he first became Megaman in the game.

Muk: Yeah so while we are sticking with most of the game's plot, there will be some changes made accordingly for this story.

Pikatwig: One thing I am going to say is that, for this story, 'Misora' is just a stage name for Sonia. Most characters will be using their English names, but there will be some hybridizations or use of the Japanese ones as instances come up. Just kind of go with it. The hybrid nature of the names will be explained in the future.

Muk: I honestly like the idea of Misora being Sonia's stage name. Honestly it makes sense for her to have one, not sure why she didn't use one in the main games.

Pikatwig: I will say that we did originally get close to finishing this back in 2020… then we got burnt out and couldn't finish it, then time got away from us and we both got busy with other things. And since I don't know if KKD will be available to work on the Super Sentai partner for this story, it may need to enter a "post when it's done" status. We'll have to see.

Muk: Yeah, that's how things seem to go for us. We work on one thing for a good while, then suddenly time escapes from us and next thing you know it's been months. That's a common case I've been finding myself in a lot for my own stuff.

Pikatwig: And, a funny thing in retrospect, the concept of how Mega transforms is sort of… opposite to Revice. Inner spirit and human split into two, spirit and human merge into one.

Muk: I swear the contrast between the two is pretty coincidental since when we started this, Revice wasn't even announced yet.

Pikatwig: Yeah, just a funny thing in retrospect. People who saw the preview know this was originally meant for December of last year, and the earliest time we talked about it was November of last year.

Muk: Yeah during then Saber was still going. Man, we really let this escape us.

Pikatwig: Anyway… what was your favorite part? I gotta say, mine was how we blended the concert that Sonia was singing at with the battle. I thought it was cool how they got interwoven.

Muk: Definitely, I especially liked how we combined Sonia's final lyrics with Geo's Rider Kick. That was epic!

Pikatwig: Yeah. Alright, so… um… apologies for the wait. Stuff happens.

Muk: Yeah life gets in the way of stuff like this.

Pikatwig: Hope that you'll enjoy the next entry… whenever we do it.

Muk: Hopefully it won't be as long a wait as this one.

Pikatwig: Just Live More.

Muk: Sain'ofu.
