Azul and Ruby blinked at the sight of Ruby's father being present, there had been no indication he had found them or knew they were here.

Qrow pushed the man back as he cackled and chuckled before glaring at the duo behind him.

"As I live and breathe, a real Huntsmen... I haven't killed one in weeks." The man cackled, Azul saw Qrow stand fully, his cape flowing as he planted Harbinger into the ground, blade first.

"And you are?" Qrow's voice belayed no anger or hatred, only sheer focus at the enemy in front of him.

"Why, my name is Tyrian, friend… but you won't live long enough to remember it, sadly." Tyrian grinned while Qrow looked at his daughter.

"I don't know, he's weird." Ruby looked at Azul who was still itching to fight the scorpion Faunus.

"Look, buddy, I don't know who you are or care. You need to leave my daughter alone." Qrow stated, still fully prepared to fight Tyrian if he had to.

"I'm afraid I cannot do that. she has the gift; my queen has seen those eyes before… my task was to retrieve them for my queen… the boy is also the descendent of someone quite special." Tyrian crouched down while Qrow's eyes narrowed.

"Now, I believe we've had far too much talk, hmm?" Tyrian cackled and then pounced forward at his enemy.

Qrow ripped his blade from the ground only to block the first 2 slashes in one fluid motion, sending him backward.

Tyrian grinned and used his tail to throw himself forward again, Qrow angled Harbinger for a stab which was dodged before Tyrian backflipped away.

Azul forced himself to his feet and clutched Violet Shadow in his hand tightly.

"Heh!" Tyrian grinned and somersaulted towards Qrow, flicking his blades forward only for Qrow to twirl and meet the attack head-on.

The shockwave shattered the roof of a home as the two men locked blades, Qrow grinned as sparks flew from his weapon.

That was before Tyrian grinned demonically before cocking his fists, two barrels appeared on each of his gauntlets.

He opened fire, shooting at Qrow who retreated from the barrage to deflect his newfound guns.

Tyrian blinked only to be forced to parry a downwards slash from Azul as he pivoted and fired a shot from the hilt of his weapon.

It caused him to deflect it with his tail, but this allowed Qrow to slam the side of his blade into Tyrian's chest, sending him skidding backward as his Aura shimmered a sinister purple.

"Stay out of this, kid," Azul grunted and shook his head; Ruby managed to recover and shifted her weapon into its sniper form.

She just needed a single good shot to turn the tide of the battle. Azul turned to look at her as Qrow was caught by a flip kick from Tyrian.

"Rubes, stay out of this! Crescent Rose isn't good for fighting his blades, he's too dangerous!" Azul yelled before rushing in to help Qrow.

Even if he couldn't defeat Tyrian, he'd gladly help Qrow get more openings. That was going to have to be enough for the hotheaded canine.

"FINE!" Ruby growled and leaped up, digging in Crescent Rose and swung herself, firing at the apex of her swing.

This tossed her to a rooftop where she dug her weapon into the ground to get a good shot at the Faunus.

Azul fired another bullet from his hilt only for it to be dodged, Qrow managed to block a stab from Tyrian's tail as the Faunus pressed him back, aiming a stab, then slash, then stab.

Sparks flew from his and Tyrian's weapons as the duo continued their dance.

Ruby glowered in anger as she couldn't help either her father or her boyfriend as Tyrian chuckled and stabbed at him with his tail, Qrow dodged it only to notice Tyrian had wrapped the limb around his wrist.

Tyrian tugged Harbinger from his grasp, sending the sword flying into the wall as Qrow rubbed his wrist.

Tyrian chuckled only for a bullet to graze his cheek, he chuckled like a deranged clown as Ruby fired, again and again, bullet casings rolling off the roof as Tyrian flicked each away with his tail.

He was forced back as Azul rushed forward, fired a round at Tyrian, and used the momentum for a spinning downwards slash.

Tyrian grinned and blocked it only to stab at Azul who switched into the fight for Qrow who went to retrieve his weapon.

Tyrian grinned and aimed a swing of his tail at Azul who dodged it with a flick of his head and pivoted for a stab which Tyrian countered and elbowed him back.

His double stab was blocked, cobblestone kicked up as Azul pushed his blade forward with both hands as sparks flew from their blades.

Tyrian went to shoot again, only for Azul to fire the weapon and use the momentum to land a roundhouse kick to Tyrian's jaw as he spun away.

Azul's Aura crackled cobalt from the elbow Tyrian gave him as Tyrian grinned and threw himself forward.

Azul managed to slide under the spinning stab aimed at his head but was forced back as Tyrian continued to attack, trying to pepper him with bullets.

The only reason Azul was able to stand a chance was a matter of 3 variables.

Tyrian didn't take Azul seriously as an opponent, allowing the Faunus to take advantage of the fact he was fighting someone way out of his league.

Azul had a speed semblance like Ruby, allowing his reactions to keep up with the scorpion Faunus… that, and Faunus were biologically tougher than Humans.

Azul had a much shorter weapon, allowing him less range, but better speed and maneuvering.

"You know, for a creepy Faunus trying to kidnap us? you sure don't seem to know anything about us." Azul stated as he caught Tyrian's tail between his claws. Tyrian flung him back only for Azul to land in a crouch.

Qrow watched and waited for a moment to switch in, his Semblance was acting up.

Azul blinked as a streetlamp cracked then collapsed. He rolled away from it as Tyrian grinned and followed the young Faunus who narrowly dodged a kick only to catch a punch.

Tyrian's blade nicked his cheek, damaging his Aura and causing blood to rush to the surface.

He and Tyrian continued their dance of death through Oniyuri as Qrow and Ruby watched.

Tyrian watched as Azul scrambled up a roof, dodged a strike from Tyrian that carved through the tiling as Azul flipped to the next roof. He kicked a tile into Tyrian's head as he landed.

Phew, another chapter is done! I want to point out NO, Azul isn't some super badass who can win any fight, he's only surviving because of his Semblance and Qrow's help. The next chapter will show the last bits of the fight. until then, Lighting Wolf out!
