Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Wolf and Reaper. Enjoy the 900-word chapter. I don't own RWBY, Monty Oum, and Rooster Teeth do.

(Mistral.)

Tyrian grinned and swung again at Azul, his aura flickered from blocking the cut, but he stood his ground and continued to parry slashes from the enemy Faunus.

Qrow kicked him backward before rushing in, Azul blinked and sighed before realizing he was so out of his depth in the fight.

Despite his speed Semblance, Tyrian was still as fast if not faster than him. he also had much more strength and skill, meaning Azul was getting saved only by his semblance.

Still? Azul refused to give up, the more damage he infected on Tyrian. The more it made him easier to defeat for Qrow.

He challenged 2 skilled fighters and now had a master Huntsmen as well to deal with… either Tyrian was insane, or… no, he was insane, that was it in Azul's head.

He lunged at Tyrian, leaping off Qrow to clash blades with Tyrian as he sighed and then watched Tyrian duck only to be forced to block Harbinger from Qrow as he deflected Tyrian's tail.

Tyrian went to jump only for Azul to stomp on his flailing tail, causing him to drop to the ground as Azul dodged a swipe at him and managed to punch him in the face.

Qrow went to swing at Tyrian who blocked it before roundhouse kicking Qrow away. He grinned and advanced on Azul.

Azul dodged a swipe to his right, was grazed by a stab to his left, flickering his Aura.

Azul brought up his weapon just as Tyrian bounced on his tail and brought both of his blades down.

The sparks flew as the smaller and younger Faunus pushed his blade against Tyrian's.

"You're just a boy playing dress-up, you know… You're never really a Huntsmen." Tyrian chuckled as Azul growled and fired a round which caused Tyrian to swing away before blocking a swing from Azul.

"Shut… Up." Azul swung and parried a strike that came a centimeter from ripping through his eye, he backflipped away, planting his sword into the ground as Tyrian lunged.

Azul fired his weapon, using the momentum to throw himself over Tyrian's head while Qrow slashed him in the back as he turned.

"You picked a fight with 1 of the best Huntsmen in the world and 2 skilled Huntsmen trained by him… last chance, back off, this isn't going to end well for you." Azul hissed before twirling his weapon.

He was tired, his Aura almost broken, but Tyrian was still standing, mocking their efforts with an inhuman smirk that seemed to move like a snake.

His Aura glittered Purple once, they were at least making progress, but it was slow, methodical… he was skilled, well trained, a beast in human clothing.

Azul watched Tyrian continue to engage Qrow, he would strike with his stinger, then get deflected, or he'd be forced to back off before he could draw closer.

Azul wanted a single moment he could slip through Tyrian's guard; he didn't know how much Aura Tyrian had left. He did know the second Tyrian lost his Aura. He was done, he wouldn't have his semblance, and his defense against the trio was gone.

Tyrian had wandered into the town wanting easy prey, Cinder didn't tell him to expect a fight.

He saw a small opening when Tyrian backflipped away from a stab which Qrow followed up by firing Harbinger's shotgun. Tyrian blocked the bullets, but one got through.

This allowed him to jump just as Tyrian swung at Qrow. Ruby fired as well, seeing a gap which she could exploit as she skated open her scythe before firing it to throw herself into a spin.

Tyrian grinned and blocked the bullet only for Qrow to slash Tyrian and toss him to the ground, damaging his Aura.

Azul slid under his leg just as Tyrian swung an uppercut which broke Azul's Aura, shades of Blue cascaded off it.

He grinned and lashed out with his stinger just as Azul's cut ripped through his side, scarring him.

Azul gasped as he looked down to see Tyrian's tail had cut his exposed arms. Tyrian grinned and smashed his stinger into Azul's face.

Ruby watched in horror as Azul backflipped into a street post, shattering the light and sending him skidding along the ground.

"I heard you lost your team… You must miss them if you did so horribly." Tyrian grinned and went to poison the unconscious Faunus again.

That was before he felt Ruby's scythe around his tail as she pulled the trigger. Tyrian screamed as his limb was ripped from his back, poison gushed along the floor.

"AZUL!" Ruby looked at her boyfriend as Qrow advanced on the wounded Faunus.

He growled and vanished as Qrow looked at the others before transforming into a crow again to chase them.

Ruby ran to her boyfriend's side and cradled his wounded body in her arms.

Author Notes

Phew, another chapter is done! I know Tyrian wasn't super powerful, he was playing with Qrow and Azul. I also want to point out I'm not copying everything shot for shot in the story. The next chapter will be in a week or so and will show the aftermath of the fight along with Jaune's Team arriving. Until then, Lighting Wolf out!

Ps: Ruby is 1200 words next week, Weiss maybe 1200, Yang 1500 Sunday, Glynda 1200 Thursday, Raven 1200 Tuesday, Penny next week.
