Between Ruby's vicious war cries, the firing of her scythe, and the roars of the Nuckelavee as it tried to crush her? one could believe the former town of Kuroyuri was alive and well again.
"RUBY, THAT GRIMM IS TOO STRONG!" Jaune's cries fell on deaf ears as the crimson crusader was busy ripping into the Grimm the size of the houses it demolished.
She dodged one of its fists as it demolished a former home, rose petals bleeding off her cloak. This monster ravaged half of Mistral. It was a servant of the woman who brought death and misery to Vale all for the sake of power.
It was going to die if Ruby had to hack it down to small, bite-sized pieces. She darted around another hit before leaping onto its bulky arm.
The Grimm shrieked; it was a haunting hymn of what was a sound that probably announced death to anyone insane enough to get in her way.
Ruby didn't seem bothered by it besides a second or two of inconvenience. It damaged her Aura slightly as she blinked crimson. She then buried her scythe into the arm of the beast and began running it up as she rushed its face.
Ruby fired, more to shred the limb AND put more momentum behind her swing as she lunged forward at it.
She didn't see the Grimm as a creature, she saw a monster, an abomination. One of the beings from the stories her parents used to tell her as a child was to make her inspired to become a Huntress.
And now she was going to kill one of the bosses of the creatures who haunted her very nightmares. She was doing this for far more than Azul, then Mistral… this was for peace on Remnant.
The Grimm brought up its other hand as Ruby fired a bullet which threw her over the spinning appendage and onto its other limb.
The Grimm hissed in pain, this…. ANT, presumed to be able to slay it?! when dozens, hundreds, COUNTLESS Huntsmen, had failed to do more than giving it more trophies like a rightful king?
The Grimm called upon its underlings, flies that lurked in its shadow while it toiled away at destroying humanity and making sure they wouldn't rise again.
It was poetic that Humanity and Faunus thought themselves the rightful rulers of the continent….
The Grimm glared at Ruby as she rested on its other arm, its flayed twin was busy pulsing in pain from Ruby's assault on the limb.
"Let's finish this." Ruby cocked her scythe, ready for another battle with the creature who went from considering Ruby another gnat to being a real enemy.
She hummed as the Grimm shook her free, Ruby fell to the building, using a few bullets to slow her descent.
The Nuckelavee towered over her, now fully grasping how the Huntress who hadn't finished her training could be dangerous to her with the right moves and how it had the potential to kill her.
"RUBY!" She turned and looked at Nora and Ren as the massive monster glared at Ruby.
It had decided not to strike first anymore, doing that just allowed Ruby to use its limbs against it.
Ruby backflipped over another strike, a feint from the hulking abomination as it readied itself for another round of combat with Ruby.
"WHAT!?" Ruby hadn't found her voice for a moment, shocked at the pure rage that was busy driving her to continue combat, it said a lot when Ruby stopped her cutie moments to focus entirely on combat with a creature easily able to bring ruin to her if needed.
Ruby watched as Nevermores and Beowolves circled the town, eagerly ready to someone if their master commanded it.
Ruby could only glare at the Nuckelavee, murder in her sliver eyes, they burned with fire not there before.
It unnerved Jaune and Ren, Ruby never had this killer intent when it came down to things. She was now a lot more ruthless in this fight.
Did what happen in Vale anger her THIS much? it made her question things a lot more than usual.
Jaune looked at the Nuckelavee, its rage was entirely focused on Ruby. It wanted her blood and wouldn't rest until it had its fill. Ruby knew this and was ready for another round of conflict.
"That Grimm… it's the same one…" Ren caused Ruby to look at her with the anger she had.
Both wanted this Grimm dead, and it showed more than anything when it roared at them with pure rage.
Ruby was indeed ready to kill every Grimm in the entire city.
Ruby charged forward, ready to murder the Grimm, it growled at her and awaited her next attack on it.
Ruby changed her magazine, using her semblance to switch it in a blink of an eye before throwing the empty clip to the side.

Phew, another chapter is done! I want to point out that Ren is still going to kill the Grimm, he is going to need some time to do so. The next chapter will end season 4 and start season 5, seasons 6-7 are the longest. The next chapter will be in 1-2 weeks and will show Ruby's last bit of the battle with the Nuckelavee. Until then, Lighting Wolf out!
