I teleport just outside the Crusader's power chamber. "Alright everyone Happy Power Ranger's day, Hamm wanted to do something special today for the event. You are not only getting a follow up for Crusaders (Finally, sorry about that), but later I hope to post the next chapter for Biju Sentai Jinchuriki which will be both my Power Ranger's inspired stories. Without further ado, let's start the show," I say as I teleport away before the camera peers inside.
"It's great to have Billy around here," Zerdon said. "He was one of the first rangers my father chose to defend the earth. He is also one of the brightest minds of Earth, able to perform diagnostics and build the zords."
As soon as Zerdon finished saying this, sparks went flying as said former ranger hit the wall.
"Billy, are you okay?" Alpha 10 asked.
"Yeah, just having a hard time getting the holographic-solidfication system to work," Billy said. "I think I'm gonna need some help with this. Luckily I know a few people that could help."
Billy pulled out his phone, dialing a number.
"Billy, it's been too long," a familiar voice said.
"It sure has been. Hey, you still got the number for the head of that school?"
"Sure, why?"
"Oh, you know, aliens from outer space trying to take over and/or destroy the earth. Working on zords, but need help with the solid holograms."
"I'll make the call. Shouldn't take long for him to get there."
So they hung up.
Meanwhile at the school that morning we find Mr. Diaz talking with Mr. Fernandez, a Latino with a small beard on his face, as he looks over Matt's drawings he handed Mr. Diaz yesterday in detention. Matt was allowed to look around but he found he was drawn to a picture of a long haired woman wearing a Wonder Woman outfit looking heroic as she looks ready to fight.
"You have an eye for talent, that is my wife Kira. One day after we got together she dressed as Wonder Woman as she knew I liked drawing super heroes and posed for me. We were in love at first sight as she saw me come into the local hangout for my first day on the job and we met several times as she did her homework or performed on stage. We have been married for several years now after college and decided to move here on the advice from our science teacher, Dr. O. By the way call me Trent, most of my students do anyway."
Trent then went on to tell Matt about the class and what he needed for it as Matt agreed to join the class as one of his electives.
"I can't believe those weaklings destroyed one of our soldiers," Creepox said.
"Do not worry, my comrade," Malkor said as a what looked like a flying saucer appeared before turning into a monster. "Yuffoo, I want you to capture the humans, see if any others have abilities like these."
"As you command!" Yuffoo said before flying off while Vrak looked on.
"They have no idea the power those particular humans possess," he said as he tended to his Eyebats.
Meanwhile back down on Earth "Man, Adam Park is a great artist and his band Eyeshine rock," Adam said. "Not to mention we got the same name."
"Hermano, he maybe good, but I personally love Kira Ford Fernadez," Eve said. "I mean, she was just a high school girl at a coastal city, and now she's a superstar."
"How would you react if she was at the school?"
"Oh, I'd probably try to keep it cool. Why do you ask?"
"Because I think she is." Adam pointed at the school as Kira Ford Fernadez came out of a car with a lunchbox and her guitar on her back. She wore a yellow shirt with long white sleeves and jeans with a hole in them. "Kira Fernadez! Oh, I gotta get her to autograph something! What have I got for her to autograph?"
As Eve hunted for something for Kira to sign, Kira stopped as she hear a weird buzzing. "Oh, a fine-looking specimen!" She turned just in time to see a UFO-like creature fly around, capturing humans. Kira kicked at the creature, causing it to change.
"Ouch! That hurt!"
"Man, Dr. O wasn't kidding."
"This one can fight."
"I've fought things way uglier than you. Heck, I fought a giant bone thing that messed with my head once."
"Oh, a super-valuable subject!" The monster turned back and split apart. She tried but without her dino gem, she couldn't do a lot and she got captured. "Eve, a monster just captured Kira Fernadez!"
"Oh, no they didn't! They're gonna pay! Come on, hermano, we're going after them!"
"Shouldn't we wait for the others?" He saw his sister run off. "Guess not."
Around the same time, Billy waits outside the Command Center as he hears the sounds of a chopper arriving but sees nothing before a cloaking device deactivates and a green sparrow themed helicopter lands nearby as an Asian male wearing black robes with a green outline. "Dr. Cranston, I presume," said the male as he shook Billy's hand, "Yes, and your name is Cam if our mutual friend had mentioned could help me," said Billy as Cam Watanabe nodded his head as the two went right to work as Cam cloaked his Samurai Star Zord.
"Oh boy this isn't good," said Billy as he watched from the command center as he realized that Trent needed to be told and reached for his phone while Cam worked on the programming for the Zords using the Ninja Storm data. Billy went thru his contact list till he reached the former white Dino Thunder ranger and hit call, after a few rings Billy hears "Hello Trent here."
"Trent your not gonna like what I have to hear, but the new enemy is taking civilians as hostages to find our weaknesses and Kira was taken as one."
"WHAT? Okay tell me where their at so I can get my wife back," said Trent as Billy could here the former white ranger pacing in his classroom. "Trent just calm down and let the new team handle it, besides now you know how the multicolor ranger felt when his wife would get taken by our enemies back in the day," said Billy as both former rangers shared a laugh at that, "Besides, your powers aren't connected to the morphing grid right now and trying to morph could kill you and Kira will then kill me."
"So true, and that is part of why I love her," replied Trent, "You will make sure they keep Kira safe," "Yes I will Trent." Trent thanked Billy for the call as the bell signifying the end of his off period and several students about to come in.
Adam and Eve ran after the monster as it reached the beach, seeing a lot of captive people. Kira was among them. 'Damn it if I had my dino gem and morpher, I'd kick this guy's ass,' Kira thought. 'But Dr. O said to keep my powers a secret.'
"Now, who should I start with?" the monster said. "I think I'll start with the loud mouth blond one."
'Shit!'
"Get away from them!" a female voice shouted as blasters hit the monster before two rangers came.
"The rumors are true!" a random citizen said.
"There are new rangers in Angel Grove!"
'Hmm, saved by my color. Nice,' thought Kira as she hid watching the fight. They summoned their weapons as Larvoids appeared to attack them. "Now, are you wishing we waited and called for back-up, hermana?"
"Si, hermano, don't rub it in," Eve said. 'Hmm, latino and siblings.' Kira thought as she continued to watch the fight.
A few minuets after Eve and Adam start fighting the Larvoids we find Matt working on his first Art assignment for Trent's class when he hears his morpher go off alerting everyone around him to the sound. "Sorry Mr. Fernandez, but can I be excused to go to the bathroom?"
Trent realized what the sound was as he use to answer it all the time when he was in high school in Reefside, smiling Trent said "Sure thing Matt, just make sure to clean up your work area a bit."
Matt quickly did as Trent said before grabbing his bag as he walked out of the classroom, 'If its anything like our team then he is the red ranger, but he is quite the artist,' thought Trent as he looked over Matt's work before resuming his walk around to help the other students in his class.
"I'm sorry for taking away your free period to help with my weapon, Mary," Noah said. "It's no trouble, Noah. We're a team. We help each other. They heard a beeping sound. "And looks like we get to help the others. Let's go."
After making sure no one was around, they pulled out their cards and morphers.
"Crusaders Shine!" The two morphed before putting their hands on their buckles, activating the teleportation. They turned into blue and pink energy lights and found themselves back at the command center, "Noah, Mary, why did you teleport here when your team is facing a monster at the beach?" Zerdon asked the two.
"That was where we were trying to land but we must need some work with the teleporter," sheepishly replied Noah as he and Mary rubbed the back of their helmets. Billy walks out hearing the commotions and has an idea to help the rangers. "I'll have to work on the teleporter, but you have to hurry to the battle and I'm working on something big," Billy said. "How big?" Noah asked.
"Big. Anyway, until that and the teleporter are up and running, use these."
Billy pushed a button, revealing five color-coded cycles with ports on the front like on their blasters.
"What are these?" Mary asked.
"They're your Crusader Cycles. I'll make cards so you can summon them from anywhere. For now, just summon the headers and attach them to your bikes."
They got their header cards out, and put them in the morphers and attached them. Then the cycles underwent a transformation. Noah's got a tail along with dorsal fins for more smooth sailing and Mary's got small wings on the rear engine to help it go faster.
"Hmm, did not design that part. Not complaining though. Should allow for more speed and power."
"Nice." Noah got on his, admiring the design. "So how are these powered?"
"They go off your natural power. Just put your hands on the handles and rev it up." So the two got on their cycles before riding off into the battle. "There they are and the captives!" Mary said.
"I got them!" Noah said. "Shark Cycle Strike!" Noah used his cycle's side fins to cut the nets, freeing the captives as they ran to safety, or in Kira's case just somewhere to watch the new rangers.
"Those are muy bueno, amigo," Adam said.
"We all got some but let's focus on this now," Mary said as they got ready to fight. "Okay team, we need to deal with the Larvoids first," said Matt as he summoned his Sky Sword and charged the Larvoids as Adam did the same with his Land Axe and Eve with her Land Claw. Mary and Noah were back to back with their weapons taking out an enemy coming towards them. "Larvoids keep them busy so I can get more test subjects," said Yuffoo as he changes into a flying saucer to capture more humans.
"Oh no he isn't. HERMANO!" said Mary as she pointed to the monster letting Adam know her plan as he nods his consent. Mary runs towards Adam slicing any Larvoids in her way. Adam drops his axe as he then cups his hands letting Mary step into his hands as Adam throws her up into the air. As she was launched into the air, Eve slices at Yuffoo with her Land Claw causing him to drop from the sky and crash back to the ground transforming back into his humanoid form.
"Nice job you two, now let's take him out," said Matt as he and Adam caught Eve as she came back down. "Alright, everyone, let's combine our weapons!" They assembled their weapons before shouting "CRUSADER CANNON! SKY POWER/LAND POWER/SEA POWER ACTIVATE! CRUSADER CANNON FIRE!"
The blast hit the monster as the rangers said "Amen."
"Once again they fail."
"Do not worry, sir," Vrak said. "Let me show you something I have been working on." Vrak walked over towards the main console on the ship, "FIRE THE ENLARGING BEAM!" Suddenly a purple beam is shot from the bottom of the space ship and heads straight towards where Yuffoo was destroyed by the rangers. Soon the laser touched the ground as the pieces of Yuffoo come back together before it seems to grow massive to where Yuffoo is ten stories tall, "Haha, the experiments aren't over yet."
'Great, somethings never change,' thought Kira as she decided to get further away knowing just how destructive these kind of battles could get. Adam pulled his morpher from his belt as he got in touch with the command center, "Hey amigo, we have a MAJOR problem here."
"Let me guess, the monster you just beat grew really big," responded Billy from the console as Cam stands behind him with grease stains on his face. "You sound like you have done this before," said Mary as she stood near Adam. "Oh a few times," was Billy's answer as he and Cam shared a laugh. "Don't worry guys, I'm sending you something to help," Billy said as he typed on the keyboard. The rangers opened their belt buckles, revealing some cards with machines on them.
"What are these?" Noah asked.
"Zord cards. Just do what you do, and you'll like what happens." So the rangers put the cards into their morphers.
"Summon Crusader Zords!" At that moment, five headers appeared before attaching to a plane, fighter jet, train, bulldozer and submarine.
"Whoa, this is muy magnifico!" Adam said.
"Those are your zords. Had a little help developing them. Now go for it!"
The Rangers jumped into their zords as they got ready to take on Yuffoo, "See if you can deal with this rangers," said Yuffoo as he spilt into several smaller saucers. The smaller saucers went after the zords as the rangers split up. The Sky Dragon and Sky Phoenix were flying around as the saucers released a black cloud firing on the Sky Dragon as matt was jostled around a bit inside the zord. Matt let loose his zords fire breath to destroy a few of the sauces around as he exited the cloud seeing Mary getting chased by a few more saucers.
"Mary, watch out behind you," said Matt as Mary saw she was about to crash into a underpass near the mountains as she pilots her zord into the tunnel as the saucers follow after her. "Mary, when you get out pull up and don't ease up on the throttle," said Matt over their comms as Mary does just that as soon as she exits with her pursuers following after her. Mary was blinded by the sun in her eyes but believed in what Matt told her as she kept her zord flying up, luckily Matt was flying down and fires several missiles that fly by Mary and hit the saucers following her.
In the water, Noah was piloting his Sea Shark after several saucers in the water. "See how you like these torpedos," said Noah as he fired a couple torpedoes destroying 2 of them but a third appears spinning upside down creating a whirlpool that traps Noah but his quick thinking allows him to get free while destroying the third saucer.
Meanwhile on the land we find Adam along with Eve chasing several bouncing saucers in the Land Snake and Land Tiger zords respectively, "Oh no your not getting away that easily," said Adam as he charges forward in his zord. The saucers fire on the Land Snake but Adam swiftly drives his zord around the saucers and gets in front as he cuts off the saucers with his zords long body knocking them away as one lands in the mouth of Eve's Tiger zord, Round and round she goes until Eve releases the saucer letting it blow up away from the fight as the others converge together, Matt and Eve do a combo attack with their zords as the blast all but one of the remaining saucers away. The last saucer changes back into Yuffoo, "You five haven't won just yet."
"Well, this is a tough one," Noah said as he brought his wrist to his mouthpiece. "I don't think the zords can do it."
"Oh, you think that's all to the zords?" Billy asked as he typed on the keypad. "You mean there's more?" Mary asked.
"There's always more. Here you go, the good stuff." The rangers opened their buckles to find a card that said "Crusader Megazord".
"Alright let's do it!" Matt said.
"Crusader Megazord, Activate!"
"Hermano, let's go!" Eve said.
"You got it, hermana!" Adam said as his snake zord bent as the tiger slid in the back of the snake. They pulled the levers up as their zords started standing. The dragon flew in, sliding on top. "Noah! Mary! Your turn!" Matt said next
"Right!" they said together. The shark zord's fin split as it folded to its sides. The phoenix also folded its wings as they attached to the dragon. The dragon's head came off and the its neck and tail. The head reattached to the zord as the tail and neck attached to each other as it hooked to the back. The top of the dragon flipped up, revealing a head as wings came up.
"Crusader Megazord, shine on!"
The Rangers were sitting down in a V formation with Matt in front of all of them as the Megazord charged toward Yuffoo. Yuffoo tried to fire several blasts at the Rangers but they walked thru it like it never affected them. "Header attack," said the Rangers as the megazord moved its arms launching the headers as the feet kicked son after doing the same and finally pushing its chest out as the Dragon launched as well. The Shark and Phoenix beat Yuffoo before the Snake did a one two combo as Tiger uppercut Yuffoo. Dragon hit Yuffoo on the head before all the headers returned to the megazord.
The rangers opened their buckles to reveal another new card as they opened their morphers as they insert the new card, "Victory Charge Activate!" Suddenly several large cards appear around the megazord before they launch at Yuffoo, making him freeze as the megazord grabs the Dragon Sword off its back before it became enflamed. The megazord charged at Yuffoo before slicing him up as Yuffoo exploded into several million pieces, "Crusaders ride on, Amen."
"We did it!" Mary said.
"And how cool are our cycles?" Noah asked.
"Can't wait to ride mine!" Eve said.
"Disminuya la velocidad, hermana,(Slow down, sis)" Adam said. "You need your license first."
"Actually you don't," Billy said. "The Turbo rangers used cars, and the blue ranger, Justin, wasn't even 13 and drove the Mountain Blaster zord."
"Still awesome," Matt said.
"Yeah, being a ranger is awesome," a new voice said.
The team turned to see Kira and Trent.
"Mr. Fernadez!" Matt said. "Uh, this, uh-."
"Matt, I already knew. I used to be a ranger too."
"And me," Kira said. "Billy? You got one of those ball things you guys used to see through?"
"Haven't gotten it to work yet. Another time. For now, look at the monitor." Everyone looked at the monitor as it showed four teens and an adult. "Dino Thunder Power Up! White Ranger Dino Power!"
"You're rangers?" Matt asked.
"We were. Dino Gems drained. But we'll help cover for you guys. Don't think I'll be taking it easy on you though."
"Um, Mrs. Fernadez?" Eve asked.
"Oh, just call me Kira," said Kira
"Right, Kira. So think I can get an autograph?" Eve asked as Mary followed up with "And me?"
"Sure thing," said Kira as both girls got their notebooks as she signed them, making them both squeal.
"Ay curumba," Adam said.
I appear once more teleported just outside the chamber, "Well that was fun, the rangers get their zords finally and some familiar faces show up as well.
