Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Wolf and Reaper. Enjoy the 900-word chapter. I don't own RWBY, Monty Oum, and Rooster Teeth do.
(Mistral.)
"So, you and Ruby had a… Fight?" Jaune questioned Azul.
The wolf Faunus sighed and looked out the window at the moon. He frowned once more.
"Yes," Azul said and walked over to the door. "I… I'm mad at myself for it. I just… Don't know what to do." Azul said while he rolled his arms.
Jaune looked at the wolf Faunus while he cracked his neck. Jaune didn't know what to say exactly to this.
(With Ruby)
"I know you're awake," Ruby said as she knocked on Qrow's door. "I heard you say the talk wasn't over, dad. You know you said that to me." Ruby put in which made Qrow sigh as he walked to the door.
"I thought you didn't want to talk to your old man," Qrow responded while Qrow opened the door.
Qrow looked at his daughter as Ruby crossed her arms and sighed.
"Is it about your boyfriend?" Qrow asked which made Ruby frown as she looked around. "What did Azul do?" Qrow questioned and frowned.
While part of him wanted to march down to go find his daughter's boyfriend and demand answers? Another part of Qrow knew his daughter would tear him a new one if he tried to do something to Azul.
Qrow rubbed at his temples. Azul wouldn't have said something stupid to Ruby when it came down to it.
Qrow watched Ruby clear her throat as she turned to look to the wall.
(With Azul)
"I don't know what Ruby thinks of me," Azul stated to Jaune as he looked to the side. "I can't think of what to tell her either. I'm just mad that Cinder managed to give us the runaround." Azul put in as he crossed his arms.
Azul knew for a fact that Ruby was mad at him. Azul had been pushing himself to make up for his fight with Tyrian. The Scorpion Faunus angered him to no end. It made him angered and disgusted to have such a Faunus among the enemy ranks.
"Well, uh…" Jaune tried to put in as he looked at his friend. "Did Ruby and you talk?" Jaune questioned which made Azul blink and turn to him and hum with interest.
"We did talk," Azul responded as he cracked his neck and turned to look at Jaune. "That's what led to the argument. I keep acting like I want to fight Cinder and her army." Azul put in before he sighed.
"Cinder's army curb-stomped us at Beacon." Jaune put in while Azul nodded. "It isn't like we were used to fighting her back home," Jaune added and watched Azul walk to the window.
Jaune could see Azul's lips pull into a frown. Jaune didn't know what happened to his team. He went to say something before Azul cut him off.
"How is your team dealing with being 3 members?" Azul questioned bitterly. Jaune wanted to say something.
But he couldn't, Jaune didn't know what had happened. Azul sighed and rubbed at his temple. Azul hummed as he opened the door to leave.
"I'll come back tomorrow, Jaune," Azul stated and hummed which made Jaune sigh.
Jaune watched as Azul exited his room. He frowned at this before Azul walked back to his room.
"I don't know what to do," Azul muttered to himself and sighed. He looked down at his hands which clenched.
He growled and continued walking to his room. Azul looked out at the moon and rubbed at his arms.
Azul walked to the room which he and Ruby shared. Azul looked out at his room before he rolled his arms.
Azul walked to his bed as he yawned and sat down in his bed. Azul pulled up the covers to his shoulder and hummed.
He closed his eyes as he turned to the lights and slowly turned them off. Azul yawned once more before he slowly hummed and drifted off to sleep.
(With Ruby)
Ruby walked back to the room and looked at Azul who was sleeping as she blinked.
Ruby walked to her bed and sighed. Her talk with Qrow hadn't gone the way she wanted. Ruby hummed and slowly pulled her covers up to her shoulders.
Ruby looked at Azul who hummed and scratched at his neck before tossing and turning.
She sighed as Azul growled in anger at something before, he rolled to the other side. Azul hummed and cracked his knuckles.
Azul blinked once more before he started growling once more. Azul sighed and looked at Azul before he crossed his arms.
Neither knew for a fact that both would have another debate tomorrow. Azul couldn't tell what would happen tomorrow at all if he could? He wouldn't be so busy beating himself up over one problem.
Azul dozed off for good in a moment as he looked at Ruby one last time.
