Locked On Hammerlocke!

A/N: This Fan Fiction is based on the Galar region and games (Sword/Shield) featuring CanonXOC It based on the GAMES and NOT the anime version.

The scene displayed nothing but tension and excitement. Anani was grinning from ear to ear and Zorua was twitching in excitement to begin. As was Rockruff, who lowered itself in a playful pounce-ready stance.

"Use Night Slash, GO!" she said.

Yipping in response, the shifty fox charged in with a full black swipe, smacking back a yipping Rockruff. Not taking too kindly to being hit, the puppy growled and charged in for a bite attack.

"Use Shadow Ball!" she called out and the small fox shot out a large black sphere from its mouth. However the playful Rockruff dodged it, and chased it instead.

"Wh-" Anani blinked, "No! That's not a fetching ball!" she huffed.

"Ruff?" the Rockruff blinked curiously when the ball of darkness exploded on it and sent it flying.

"HaHa you really should catch that Poke'mon!" Bede snickered, "It's as ditzy as you!"

"Good idea...I think I might!" Anani smirked and threw a Poke'ball at the air born wolf pup. With a few ominous shakings, the capture dinged in success.

"I did it!" she beamed, "I caught a Rockruff!"

"Well done!" Marnie clapped, but she froze up when a light took form in Zorua, "What's this...?" she blinked.

"It's Shifty!" Hop beamed, "He's evolving!"

The small fox grew to massive size compared to what it was...and Zoroark took a heel into the very forest floor in which it was found, and howled to the darkening sky.

"it's raining Poke'mon!" Anani beamed as she threw her arms around a Happy Zoroark.

"Well done..." said Bede with a slow clap, "You wasted more time...but hey~" he shrugged, "At least you've gained a friend and Zorua finally grew up~ Now can we GO please?"

"Go, Rockruff!"

"What!?" Bede blinked before taking a full blunt of a headbutt to the gut from an excited little puppy.

"Good boooy!" Anani giggled, "Who's a good boy? Dusk is! Dusk is a good boy! Yes he is!"

"Sorry Bede~" Marnie giggled, " But you kinda had that coming!"

"BEST! THING! I'VE SEEN! ALL DAY!" Hop laughed while Bede choked trying to regain his breath.

"Dusk...really?" Bede grunted, holding his gut.

"Yeah...I figured that name would be fitting...since that's the time I caught him!" she giggled while the excited wolf puppy gave her cheek licks.

"Excellent...great...really clever." Bede coughed, "I'm down." he grunted as he fell to the ground. After all, a Headbutt from a Rockruff was no easy feat to remain standing through.

"Hehe...hold on, Bede..." said Anani, "I'll give you a hand."

"Or...we could just leave him!" said Hop, "Hands up if you're with me?"

"Hop..." Anani blinked giving him a narrow-eyed gaze.

"Okay OKAY!" Hop sighed, "I was just kidding anyway!"

She shook her head and chuckled as she lifted Bede's arm over her shoulders and helped him stand. He hobbled in his steps, and with a stubborn blush and a pouty lip he let Anani lead him...this time...

It was a short visit to the Aisle of Armor... But A lot was gained. Zorua evolved...she caught a Rockruff, and both Fuukuu and Anani grew significantly...together. The farewells were sweet and heartwarming, like leaving behind a second home.

"You be sure to come back and visit again soon, sister, you hear!?" said Klara as she squeezed Anani tightly to her chest.

"Alone preferably..." Avery muttered as he shot daggers at Bede while hugging Anani protectively to his chest. As though he were a father protecting his little girl from the world...And Bede spared no time in shooting them right back.

"Do you have a problem with me!?" Bede huffed.

"Yes actually, a big one." said Avery as he shifted his glasses, "But I won't get into it right now."

"Don't worry, Avery." Hop mumbled, "...Me too."

"Oh please..." Klara rolled her eyes and smiled as she leaned in close to Anani and whispered, "You make sure to live your life, however you want~" she winked and nudged Anani toward Bede and the girl blushed vibrantly.

"We better get going." said Hop, "Hammerlocke awaits."

"But it's night..." said Honey, "Are you sure you wouldn't want to stay for the night."

"It's all right." said Anani,"We want to get an extra early start and would hate to trouble everyone if we left before the sun fully rose." she smiled, "We'll come back again soon!" she said softly," I promise!" They waved as the Air Taxi lifted to the sky. Their destination was the station in the Wild Area. A long trek through where the wild things roamed. It was early morning when they finally reached the Entry gate to Hammerlocke.

"We're finally here." Bede sighed," I have a meeting with the Chairman...so I'm afraid I must excise myself from here." he stated.

"I see..." said Anani.

"So does this mean Good Bye then? Like forever?" Hop blinked.

"You wish." said Bede, "It's good bye for now." he huffed, waving them off as he stepped forward ahead.

"Darn I knew it was too good to be true..." Hop huffed.

"I feel kinda bad..." Anani blinked, "To think Bede had such an important meeting meanwhile we took our time taking a side trip." she chuckled awkwardly.

"Don't feel bad about a thing!" said Hop, "Kubfu was behaving strangely and we did what we thought was best for it." he stated, "Besides that, I'm sure Bede is more than capable of hailing an Air Taxi if he had somewhere really important to be." he muttered as he folded his arms stubbornly and averted his gaze, "No one made him follow us around..." He was back to being in a downer mood. It had been with him for quite some time now. He tried to keep it covered, but Anani knew better. And it was starting to worry her.

Hop...

She sighed with her thoughts.

"Well...while Bede goes to do what he needs to do..." said Marnie, "We should polish up at the Poke'mon center." she said, "I don't know about you...but I could sure go for a nap." she yawned.

"Actually, that's not a bad idea..." Hop blinked sleepily, "So much happened in the passed day...we probably didn't even realize how exhausted we really were." he stated, "Now that we have made it to Hammerlocke...I think a good rest is well deserved."

"Yeah..." Anani blinked, "Okay." she sighed as she watched them move on ahead of her, feeling none the better...
