A/N Sorry for the late update. I've been going though some personal problems but I got them more-or-less sorted out. Anyway, enjoy the chapter!

Chapter 6: Education without representation

"Oh my goodness..." Frisk mumbled as she glanced into the classroom. It was the epitomy of an indoctrination classroom. The 'children' were all seated, silent, eyes down to avoid the gaze of the sinister teacher who loomed over the chalkboard as she jotted down information. Every now and then, she'd stop and look back to make sure the students were paying attention. Satisfied with complete attendance, she went back to jotting notes. "These kids... A lot of them have damaged heads... is she... abusing them...?" Almost as if answering her question, the next time she looked back and saw a student not paying attention, she grabbed her ruler and slammed it into the kids desk, instantly getting his attention and immediate fear. Satisfied, she regurned to her writing.

"Yes... Yes she is..." Mono replied. "Ok... We need to sneak by while her back is turned... the darkness under the desks look good enough for us to hide if we're too slow... You ready?" Frisk rubbed the back of her neck.

"No... but we have no choice We need to save the others. Look, she turned. Lets go." Mono nodded back to her and began to sneak to the other side of the room with Frisk close behind. Not too much time had past before they heard a solid tack from the chalkboard. Quickly, the two kids hid under whatever desk was closest to them. The bullies had taken notice of them, but none of them would dare interrupt the teacher. Speaking of, the lady in question was peering around the room, looking for rule breakers. After finding none, she went back to what she was doing. Frisk glanced at Mono, to which he silently replied with a nod. As fast and quiet as they could, they dashed into the room opposite of where they started just as the teacher turned back around. They snuck behind the door and looked around.

"There," Frisk pointed. "The key. Help me up will ya?" Mono nodded and knelt near a bookcase and ushered for Frisk to come. She took a bit of a running start as she jumped off Mono's hand as he lifted her up. With their combined momentum, Frisk was launched up and didn't even need to climb the rest of the bookcase, she instantly grabbed onto the key and came back down, hut she came down with a loud thunk sound. Almost immediately, they heard the rapid footsteps of the teacher, but only a few steps. The two quickly ran to a box and huddled together as the elongated neck and head of the demon teacher poked into the room and looked around. Her neck then stretched more with a sickening crunching sounds as she covered almost every inch of the room. After not finding any delinquents, he returned to her classroom to teach. After sneaking out of the box and back into the classroom, they noticed that the teacher was now wandering around, closely inspecting each student to ensure they were keeping to their studies. She would lean in close, nearly nose-to-nose with a student, only to straighten back up and walk to the next student. However, not all were this lucky. A few got the treatment of violently slapping their desk with her ruler, either to get them to pay attention, or to get her sick kicks. Either way, this new challenge would not stop the duo. She seemed to be walking in a pattern again, which was good. They waited around for a few moments in order to recognize it, and once they saw their opening, they took it. It was suppose to be so simple, it was a straight stretch, easy, simple, in and out. But no, she wasn't in a pattern. Suprising both of them, she went directly to the student they were heading for. She saw them, and she shouted in alarm. The sound was terrifying and simply not human in the slightest. The kids screamed in fear and mad a mad dash to the elevator the key went to with the teacher tagging close behind. They were much faster than the teacher could move, but this is where her ability came to use. The teacher could stretch her neck faster than they can run, and so she did. Almost instantly, she caught up to them and grabbed Mono by his coattails.

"Ah! No! Let me go!" He began to kick and punch at her face and eyes, but her sick twisted face didn't budge. "No!" She began to drag him back to her body to know who-knows-what to him. He looked back to Frisk with sad eyes that she couldn't even see. "Go! Run! Save yourself!" He pleaded. With a sad look and a pouted lip, Frisk turned her back and ran. Mono couldn't blame her, it was all about survival in this world. He looked back to the distorted face of his attacker and began to accept his fate, but then, out of nowhere, a crafting hammer sailed though the air and smashed the teacher right on her forehead. The blunt shock caused the teacher to drop Mono to the ground. He landed hard and got sent into a daze, but could see clearly enough to watch Frisk rush at the teacher with sheer determination on her face. The teacher recovered quickly and went to devour Mono whole, but not before Frisk could pick the hammer back up and slam it into her lower jaw, smashing it close and shattering a few of her teeth. A scream of pain and rage as her head went limp filled the hallway. The head and neck twitched and spasmed in an attempt to regain her faculties at the same time Frisk picked Mono up and ran with him to the elevator. She took her key and slammed it onto the lock, twisted it, and ran in and pulled the lever as fast as she could. The elevator carried them to safety as the teacher reached them. All she could do was star at them with her broken smile as they left her. Frisk breathed heavily as she collapsed beside Mono and rested. "Thank you..." Mono said, also recovering. She could only manage a heavily breathed, tired nod in reply. "You know... I can barely lift those hammers... How did you manage to throw it like that?" Frisk weakly shrugged.

"I dunno... I saw you get taken... I got scared... I froze for a moment but then... I felt it... it started in my chest then quickly spread through my body... Time seemed to slow... I was thinking so clearly... and when I lifted that hammer... It felt almost weightless. I felt like I could do anything!" She took a moment to pause and catch her breath. "I'm thinking... I'm thinking it was adrenaline, ya know?" Mono thought for a second.

"Maybe... maybe... but that look in your eye as you smashed her jaw... that look... it looked like more than adrenaline... it looked more like... determination.
