As soon as she reached her room, her phone started ringing. Buffy threw her jacket on the bed and picked the call. It was Angel.

"Hello, Angel! What's up?"

"Why didn't you come for dinner today?"

"I was busy with job searching and everything." She tried to sound casual.

"I have a news for you. I don't know whether you like it or not but I cannot give it on phone."

"I would say come to my room but I have some interviews lined up for tomorrow. We can talk in the evening." Buffy said watching her reflection in the mirror of dressing table.

"Are you alright?" Angel sounded disturbed. "You have not been quite yourself lately."

"Nothing special. Will talk soon."

She was totally not in mood to share her existential crisis with Angel. She lay on the bed and stared at the ceiling. She never had a passion or a hobby. She never thought about a day job or having a viable career. She was the slayer. She never knew what else she wanted from life. She closed her eyes and tried to sleep. She didn't want to ruin her interviews tomorrow. Andrew had recently got an internship as a research assistant. He told her about the other vacancies at his organization. One of them was of personal assistant/body guard. She was quite hopeful about this job as there were no physical specs required.

Someone knocked her door slowly. She opened the door to find Willow standing with a worried face.

"Did you talk to Angel?" She asked.

"Yes and come in." Willow entered her room and settled herself on the accompanied her.

"Did he give you the news?"

"What news?"

"Wait a minute." Willow said. "What did he talk about?"

"That he has something to tell me but he can't do it on phone."

"Oh." Willow still looked disturbed.

"Okay, What happened? I mean what more can happen now?"

"Buffy! I don't want to disturb you but I had a vision."

"You had a what?"

"Listen! I was worried about you guys talking about moving to San Francisco so I did some reading in my magic ball - about you and Xander."

"And what did you find?" Buffy was startled with her expressions. "I mean I know as a slayer I cannot expect to have a Cindrella type life but come on. We have already been through a lot. What worse can happen now?"

"Buffy! I saw Spike."

Willow waited for her response but she just stared at her.

"Buffy!" Willow shook her arm.

"I get it. It is bad but why are you worried."

"Buffy! I was doing a future prediction and Spike appeared in it. Your future is tied to that bloody fiend. It is something to get worried about."

"May be it is Xander's future." Buffy looked at her hopefully.

"I did separate readings." Willow was quite solemn.

"Where does Angel come in the picture?" Buffy got up annoyingly.

"I don't know but I feel whatever news he has, it is also about Spike."
