"Promise me you won't change anything. Promise me!" Rory yelled as the clouds swirled around her, pulling her back to her own time.

"I am your father. I must put my foot down."

"No! It's okay because I know why you abandon us now! I am not angry anymore!"

"I will not choose to leave you and our family! This is my choice. I have to choose what is best for all of us. Your mother and I won't allow this!"

Rory pleaded with him to go to hell and save lost souls.

"I love you." He said as he pried her hands from him, letting the pull of time drag her back to her time.

The time hole closed. The room was silent for only a moment before it was filled with Lucifer's sobs. His knees buckled and he fell to the ground. Chloe ran to him. Pulling his head against her chest.

"Shhh, it's okay. You did the right thing." Chloe soothed.

Amenadiel watched with sad eyes. Lucifer cried uncharacteristically at the loss of his daughter. She wasn't gone but she wouldn't be the same.

It was a good thing though. That his Rory would grow up happy and never want for anything.

She would never feel such rage that could cause her to time travel. She would never question her father's love for her.

"You did the right thing."

"It was selfish." He whines.

"No. You did it for all of us. I can't lose you. And I most certainly couldn't have raised a teenager and infant on my own."

"I pushed her away."

"She won't remember any of this," Amenadiel says.

Lucifer looks up at his brother.

"She won't?"

"She won't. You and Chloe will change her timeline. She won't remember coming to see you or the life she told us about."

.

Chloe and Lucifer laid in bed, snuggled close. She had calmed Lucifer down with the help of Amena-god. They went to bed but Chloe didn't sleep until Lucifer had drifted off.

Lucifer awoke early the next morning, seeing that Chloe was no longer in his bed.

He quietly got up and went to the short stairs that led to his living room and liquor counter.

"Chloe?"

"I'm here." She called from the bathroom.

Lucifer followed her voice to the bathroom hearing the toilet flush. Chloe was standing up from the floor.

"Why are you on the floor?" He asked going to her.

"Morning sickness. You seem to forget that I'm pregnant." Chloe jokes.

"It's still new. We kinda jumped to parenting an adult."

"She acted like a teenager." Chloe quips.

Lucifer laughs lightly, pulling Chloe close. She places her hands on his chest firmly.

"You don't wanna kiss me right now."

"I always want to kiss you."

"Lucifer, I just threw up."

Lucifer releases her and takes a step back. Chloe lightly chuckles as she moves to brush her teeth.

"So, we're going to be parents soon," Lucifer says.

"Yeah," she mumbles around her toothbrush.

"It's so weird to think about how we would've handled this, had we not met her."

Chloe spits in the sink and rinses her mouth before walking out, Lucifer following her.

"I think it would've been a lot scarier. I know I would have been more scared to tell you."

"Why would you ever be afraid to tell me anything? Especially when it's something that's my fault."

"I'd be afraid of you not wanting her. Or you freaking out and going on another trip that you run on when you freak out."

"I would never run from my spawn. Most importantly I will never run from you ever again. You saw the way I hunted down the woman that I had slept with during a specific time of my life, to meet a child that might be mine."

"You were kind of a mad man on the hunt." Chloe giggles.

"Lucky for this 'mad man' it ended in me finding the greatest treasure. That the daughter I was searching for's mother was the love of my life."

Chloe smiles wide, leaning up to lightly kiss his lips.

"Now that I have thrown up everything in my stomach, I'm feeling quite peckish."

"Is that supposed to be flirtatious?"

"Not in the slightest." She laughs.

Lucifer takes her hand leading her into the kitchen. She sits at one of the barstools, as Lucifer walks around the counter.

"Crackers and water please," Chloe says.

"That's a bland breakfast… no eggs-"

"Don't." Chloe holds back a gag. "I can't even think about breakfast foods."

"I have got a lot to learn about human procreation."

"You've got the procreation part down." She chuckles. "It's the gestational period that you need to read up on."

"Bloody Hell."

.

"I'm gonna be a big sister?"

"Yes, monkey."

"So Lucifer will be her dad?"

"He is her dad."

Trixie nods stiffly. Chloe knew that this conversation was gonna be harder with Dan's death.

Trixie hugs her mother. "Congratulations, mom."

"Thank you, baby."

"Does that mean that you are moving in with Lucifer?"

"I am not. And I am not going anywhere without you. You know that this doesn't change my love for you."

"I know. I know. I'm 13 and the baby needs more attention. Just like how I needed more attention but now I can do things on my own."

"Exactly."

"Will Lucifer move in with us then?"

"Lucifer and I haven't discussed it at all actually. It's quite new."

.

"What are we gonna do about our living situation?"

"What?" Lucifer asked mildly confused.

Chloe lifted her head from his chest.

"We are having a baby together. We should live together."

"Your place is far too small."

"How? We'd share my room. Trixie has her's and there is a guest room we can convert into Rory's nursery."

"I mean for me. I live alone in this penthouse. I need space."

"What kind of space? For what?"

"I can be messy. With a large space, it's harder to see that."

"Babies are expensive and LA is an expensive place to live. We don't have many options."

"Detective, I am a rich club owner. I can buy us a place."

"Lucifer I can't ask you to "

"You're not asking. I'm telling you. Pick a place and I'll pay."

"Lucifer-"

"No, if and or buts, missy. You are the mother of my spawn, I am gonna take care of you."
