The Life Virus roared, unleashing a wave of energy towards the navis around it.

Megaman barely managed to push Bass out of the way before he was blown back by the blast, sent flying by it.

"AUGH!"

Okay… This is starting to get a little old. He got up, taking aim, once more.

"Lan, I need a chip, stat!"

"Here, sending cannon chips your way!" Lan called as he slid three into place, hitting a command on his PET.

Within a flash, Megaman's buster was replaced by a large cannon with a site. He peered through it, locking onto his target.

"Program Advance: Zeta Cannon!"

"FIRE IN THE HOLE!"

BANG!

Megaman stumbled from the recoil as the cannon disappeared, panting a bit.

"Y'know… I'm starting to see why Zero called it an "old" technique."

"Switch strategies, it's getting smarter!" Protoman called as he lunged for one of its arms once more, slashing with his sword.

"Tryin'!"

What do we do..?

And then… it did something different. It swiped an arm downward as large insect like viruses appeared in a flash of data.

"Oh… Crab-"

The viruses charged forward, sending energy shots in their direction. Protoman and Megaman tried to dodge, only to get hit directly.

"AUGH!"

"Protoman!?" Chaud's worried face appeared on a monitor beside his navi. "Can you still move?"

"Mgh… Yeah… Great, it can make viruses. That's just… wonderful."

"Isn't Lord Wiley the best?" Megaman struggled to get up for a moment before he was back on his feet again. "Just… the best. I see why you like him, Bass!"

"SHUT UP! I DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT THAT!"

Megaman shook his head, looking back to the virus.

We're hitting it with everything we got but it just never seems to back down. It has to have a weakness… Everything has a weakness. Nothing is perfect.

"Have a little trouble, Blue Boy?"

Megaman's head snapped up, eyes widening as he saw Torchman standing nearby, a smirk on his face.

"You!"

"Yeah, yeah, heard it all before. For once, I'm not here to torch your little head. I'm actually gonna be helpful for once since heeeey I had no intentions of causing armageddon. Ain't that right, boys?"

"You betcha!"

Colorman bounced into the scene, a grin on his face.

"We're good guys now!"

"Something akin to that I suppose." Elecman made himself known, arms crossed, electricity sparking behind. "I prefer altruism."

"Agreed." Magicman appeared before Megaman, offering a hand. "Truce?"

Megaman hesitated before taking the hand, giving it a shake.

"Truce."

"So uh…" Lan's monitor opened. "You guys aren't gonna try to kill me again after this right?"

"That's part of the truce."

Megaman narrowed his eyes.

"And besides… I don't think backstabbing with X and Zero just one yell away would end well for any involved."

"No, it wouldn't end well."

All turned their attention to Pharaohman, the navi having a screen of data in front of him.

"Listen carefully everyone. The Life Virus is designed to have no weaknesses to the elements. A perfect disaster… However, no program is perfect. While it can regenerate thanks to the data around it and can protect itself… it's not above being overloaded."

"So we have to hit it with everything we have." Torchman pounded a fist into one of his hands. "I'll happily provide all the heat in the world to make up for the fire element."

"You got me for electricity." Elecman smirked.

"Water from me." Colorman added.

"And I'll make up the rest." Magicman crossed his arms.

Paraohman nodded in agreement.

"Then it will be up to Megaman and his team to deliver the killing blow. You have to aim for its core that's located on the forehead. That will take it out for good. Understand?"

Megaman nodded.

"I do."

"Good." Pharaohman put the data screen aside, summoning totems around him. "I'll help with embolization."

With a wave of his hands, the totems circled around the Life Virus, holding it in place, eliciting a scream from it.

I'm sorry for having to turn on you like this Albert… but I can't let you do this. No matter how mad you are at the Hikaris and the world, this is no way to solve anything!

Torchman, Colorman, Elecman and Magicman circled around the Life Virus, readying their attacks.

"Alright, have a taste of everything you nasty bugger!"

"FIRE TOWER/AQUA SWORD/ELECTRIC WAVE/WOOD TOWER!"

The barrage of attacks came from all four corners, culminating together into a whirlwind of all the elements that surrounded the Life Virus within moments. It shrieked a bit at the barrage, though it still held its ground, dedicating its shields to warding off the attack… leaving itself wise open.

"Together!"

Megaman took the lead, charging forward, thrusting an arm out.

"Protoman, Ciel, Omega! Go!"

The three navis rushed past him, readying their blades.

"Together! Delta Ray Edge!"

The three spread out around the Life Virus, attacking in a triangular formation, slicing off as many limbs as possible, imbolizing it, preventing it from having any chances to attack.

NOW!

Megaman ran towards the Life Virus, jumping in the air.

"Ready Lan?"

"Ready!"

The two shared the same glare as Lan inserted the necessary battle chips.

"Program Advance! LIFE SWORD!"

A brilliant green blade formed on Megaman's right arm, the weapon shining with energy.

With a glow in their eyes, Megaman moved downward, aiming for the Life Virus' head, where its red triangle shaped core resided.

SHING!

The sword pierced right through the core, the Life Virus arching its head back in agony, frozen in place as it let out one last shriek.

Then… there was silence… as the Life Virus began to break down into data, fading away… and all the data it had stolen returning back to its rightful place.

Megaman landed on the ground, panting. He was exhausted… everyone was… but all were relieved.

It was over.

It was really over.

We won.
